Movepool Additions: Superpower, Cross Chop, Heal Order, Infestation, Swords Dance, Rock Slide, Sand Tomb, Drain Punch
Movepool Removals: Sticky Web, Throat Chop
Justification: Wallops Virizion and Solrock after a Swords Dance, and it has a mean First Impression that can annoy some of the faster threats in the tier. Can set spikes relatively well due to the amount of switches it can force Can carry Rock Slide on some sets for Talonflame, but doesn't do much of anything versus Aegislash, unless you drop really good moveslots for Sand Tomb, and even that is shaky at best.

Fishe: It's important to note how weak this meta actually is. With that bulk+Poison Heal it can geniunely just 6-0 slower teams. Some bulk reduction should be good.

Knife Guy: Sharp Leaf Blade seems slightly too overtuned when you take into account the coverage? Idk just feels a bit too safe, needs something removed

Ass Spider: Stakeout FImp at that attack just feels way too strong personally cuz it always does insane damage in the right position. 100 base would make me feel more comfortable.

Role(s): Stallbreaker
Type:
Flying.png
Poison.png

Abilities: Technician
Stat Distribution: 115 / 115 / 60 / 55 / 60 / 65 | 470
Movepool Additions: Noxious Torque, Salt Cure
Justification: Bombirdier gathers amazing traits to break through defensive core. Technician Dual Wingbeat is a powerful STAB move with a great neutral coverage on the metagame and almost no drawback. Noxious Torque is another strong STAB move that spreads poison, making it easier for Bombirdier and its teammates to break through their common checks. Likewise, Salt Cure and Knock Off help versus Rock- and Steel-types like Aegislash and Onix that resist both of Bombirdier's STAB moves and are overall excellent moves to cripple opposing walls. With its great bulk, access to reliable recovery, and poison immunity, Bombirdier proves to be quite hard to take out for bulkier foes. However, its low Speed tier and common weaknesses mean that offensive teams can force it out effectively, while its Speed tier is good enough to outspeed most walls and its great Attack stats make it hard to switch into.
Bombirdier @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dual Wingbeat
- Noxious Torque
- Salt Cure / Knock Off

Movepool Additions: Fleur Cannon, Moonblast
Movepool Removals: Psychic, Psybeam, Psyshock, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Thunder Punch
Justification: Scream Tail is a slow and bulky wallbreaker, an archetype CSM2 doesn't have. Stakeout is a very interesting ability that can pseudo trap specially frail foes with the fear of powerful STAB Fleur Cannon. Scream Tail does however struggle to make progress versus sturdy Fairy resists like Talonflame and Aegislash even if it can make significant progress versus them with Boomburst and Flamethrower, respectively, which both are moves, Scream Tail doesn't really want to lock into.
Scream Tail @ Choice Specs
Ability: Stakeout
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Fleur Cannon
- Flamethrower
- Boomburst
- Moonblast / Trick

Stat Distribution: 80 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 135 | 535
Movepool Additions: Recover, Aromatherapy, Close Combat, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Moonblast, Play Rough, U-turn
Movepool Removals: Spore, Stun Spore, Leaf Storm,
Justification: My brain isn't working very well rn but this seems like it could be fun. Speed tier lets it run +SpA or +Atk nature. If nothing else it will enjoy setting hazards, using choice items, and checking Onix (which I agree looks insane).

Name of the Pokemon: Slither Wing
Role(s): Stallbreaker, Set-Up Sweeper, Offensive Pivot
Type:
Bug.png
Fighting.png

Abilities: Poison Heal
Stat Distribution: 75/105/69/75/95/51 | BST - 470
Movepool Additions: Victory Dance
Justification: Slither Wing abuses Victory Dance setup on stall switch-outs to bulldoze over any offensive presence. Bug and Fighting STAB combo either threatens or is unresisted by most defensive and stall threats (Komala, Aegislash and Talonflame being exceptions). Allowing Slither Wing to hold Toxic Orb grants pseudo-immunity to Burn and Paralysis.

Role(s): Stallbreaker, Physical Wallbreaker
Type: Fighting / Electric
Abilities: Purifying Salt / Technician
Stat Distribution: 130/120/60/40/60/60 (470)
Movepool Additions: Salt Cure, Thunder Wave, Knock Off, Smelling Salts
Movepool Removals: Close Combat, Earthquake
Custom Elements: Smelling Salts brought back, changed to Fighting-type and doesn't cure paralysis anymore.
Justification: A straightforward Purifying Salt user. Go-to moves are T-Wave, Knock Off, or Drain Punch. T-Wave can be followed by Smelling Salts for massive damage. Salt Cure does extra damage to walls such as Aegislash, Carracosta and Lumineon. Additionally, it resists Aegislash's Ghost STAB. Technician is a more offensively-oriented option, as it increases damage done by Salt Cure, Force Palm, Arm Thrust, Bulldoze, Rock Tomb and Fake Out.

With Moretto winning the Stallbreaker slot, it's clear that Dark is probably the #1 offensive type to keep in mind when building:

In addition, Tera is banned. Personally I think this is for the better, it will simplify balancing in the future. Mintly if you could update the sheet.

And with that, let us enter playtesting once it's all coded. Hopefully it's an enjoyable meta, and we can figure out what we lack!

Alright we've played a bit and the balance issues of the mod are pretty clear:

1. In stark opposition to Clean Slate 2, Clean Slate Micro 2 is generally too frail

2. :onix: and :solgaleo: are offensively suffocating the tier

3. There's like 1 usable ground resist rn. As a result :omastar: is also pretty cracked

4. A real lack of stealth rock setters

5. Solrock got mechanically gutted for no real reason (much like zamazenta did in the actual game lol), so I'm just gonna revert Dauntless Shield to its gen 8 version

So I'd like to open the thread up to general discussion on how we can fix these problems. Do you think we can tweak some existing mons to address the tier's issues (i.e. giving one of our weaker darks Stealth Rock, making pichu part flying, etc)? Should we also be open to subbing new mons? Toss some ideas around

Onix: Nerf. Onix is just statistically too strong, outdamaging and outspeeding the tier while having better bulk than some of the walls. Removing Adaptabiliy might work.

Solgaleo: Adding a Psychic type might help to deal with Solgaleo, but I think the mon could be fixed by lowering its Speed so Zangoose and maybe Omastar can outpseed it, and possibly removing Focus Blast. Intimidate gives it non-zero defensive presence, and its STABs are hard for the tier to deal with, so it doesn't need to be so fast basically.

Omastar: Most straightforward solution seems to be removing Mold Breaker, so our Ground-immune ability dudes can just work. Losing Mold Breaker means Dry Skin Carracosta is more of a problem for it, but the vast majority of what Mold Breaker is doing is causing the problem we are currently talking about. You could give it a custom that lets Water moves bypass abilities if you really wanted to.

Solrock: Reverted Dauntless should already be online.

Stealth Rock setters: Yeah 1-3 more setters couldn't hurt.

Tier really needs good speed control. Like I know we have the Pichu but it's very inconsistent imo. I don't think much of anything has any incentive to carry Choice Scarf in the tier rn.
