Type:
Ghost.png
Ground.png

Abilities: Thick Fat, Grim Neigh | Sap Sipper
Stat Distribution: 77 / 101 / 88 / 101 / 88 / 99 | 554
Movepool Additions: High Horsepower, Parting Shot, Sand Attack, Sand Tomb, Scorching Sands, Spectral Thief, Strength Sap
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Nasty Plot
Justification: While the Speed tier is not impressive, Spectrier shines with its great utility moves, being able to pivot with Parting Shot, spread burns, heal, and steal boosts and nice defensive utility between its ability and typing, being most notably on offensive check to Zangoose lacking Knock Off. Overall, Spectrier has middling stats but huge versatility in its utility, making it a very splashable pivot for offense.

Specially Based Pivot (Spectrier) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Thick Fat / Sap Sipper
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Strength Sap

Stat Distribution: 55 / 95 / 55 / 75 / 55 / 70 | 405

:ss/jolteon:
Name of the Pokemon: Jolteon
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Dual Screens, Heal Bell
Type:
Electric.png

Abilities
: Rough Skin / Skill Link | Aftermath (HA)
Stat Distribution: 65 / 95 / 65 / 60 / 105 / 120 | 510
Movepool Additions: Fusion Bolt, U-turn, Sucker Punch, Encore
Justification: A very fast pokemon that can equip a Choice Band and go to town spamming U-turn against the opponent's Electric resists. Its coverage isn't the best, however just Fusion Bolt + U-turn should be enough to get the job done most of the time. It also has potential with dual Screens due to its Speed, (especially because there's no Defog so far).

:ss/drifblim:
Name of the Pokemon: Drifblim
Role(s): Speed Control, Hazard Removal (Defog),
Type:
Flying.png
Ghost.png

Abilities:
Gale Wings - reverted to its gen 6 glory
Stat Distribution: 150 / 90 / 55 / 80 / 45 / 80 | 485
Movepool Additions: Oblivion Wing
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind
Justification: It can run a Specs set to maximize spamming potential, a more defensive set with Wisp/Hex/Strength Sap, or possibly a physical set with Acrobatics. Oblivion Wings' healing is tempered by its stats so it shouldn't be too crazy. Modest Specs does 75% min to Carracosta, which is fine imo because the turtle already has many checks, and chipping it by 25% isn't going to be difficult.

:ss/Omastar:

Name of the Pokemon: Omastar
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Remover (Rapid Spin), Hazard Setter (Spikes),
Type: Water/Ground
Abilities: Iron Barbs | Mold Breaker
Stat Distribution: 70 / 98 / 85 / 67 / 70 / 95 (485 BST)
Movepool Additions: Earthquake, Flip Turn, Bulldoze, Rapid Spin, Shore Up
Movepool Removals: Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Rock Blast, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Shell Smash.
Justification: Helix God the role of a fast threat who may not have the highest attacking stat, but its good enough to break what it needs to. Able to run fully offensive with 3 Attacks + Shore Up to pivot in and out with ease and roost up on the things it can beat 1v1 or could run a hazard controlling role with EQ-Turn-Shore-Spikes/Rapid Spin allowing it to be either a remover or a setter. Carracosta easily swaps into Omastar as despite EQ being strong, 114 Defense is much stronger, and Solgaleo's Intimidate hurts Omastars power, but it can take on things like Aegislash and Solrock with ease.

:ss/gogoat:

Name of the Pokemon: Gogoat
Role(s): Speed Control, Wallbreaker
Type: Rock
Abilities: Sap Sipper | Grassy Surge
Stat Distribution: 80 / 115 / 85 / 70 / 85 / 50 (485 BST)
Movepool Additions: Accelrock, Head Smash, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Grassy Glide
Movepool Removals: Iron Tail (mans don't even got a tail),
Justification: Not very fast, but hits incredibly hard. Gogoat, despite being only a rock type, essentially can use a grass type STAB with Grassy Surge + Horn Leech/Grassy Glide. Can go without it and instead work with Earthquake + Head Smash + using Accelrock as an alternate speed control option. Depending on its ability it can act as 2 different wallbreakers. Choose to go with Grassy Terrain to nuke with Grassy Glides and you suffer against Aegislash, but go with Sap Sipper to EQ those Aegislashes and suddenly Carracosta is a little spooky to fight. Decently bulky but doesn't have a favorable typing so it evens out. Don't let this thing get in for free unless you want to get wiped off the face of the earth.

Role(s): Speed Control
Type:
dragon.gif
flying.gif

Abilities: Inner Focus | HA: Marvel Scale
Stat Distribution: 85 HP / 87 Atk / 80 Def / 61 SpA / 53 SpD / 139 Spe
Movepool Additions: Dragon Ascent, Dragon Hammer
Movepool Removals: Dragon Dance
Justification: Dragonite serves as a fast revenge killer due to its ridiculous speed and its decent damage output thanks to its high BP STABs.

:ss/lopunny:
Roles: Speed Control, Band User, Priority Abuser
Type:
Normal.png
Ground.png

Abilities: Dazzling / Technician / Limber
Stats: 66 / 100 / 84 / 54 / 96 / 120 (BST: 520)
New Moves: Earthquake, Knock Off, Bulldoze
Removed Moves: Close Combat, Drain Punch
Justification: Not too hard to make a speed control mon when the celling is 105 rn lol. Ground is currently super good, it also gives solrock a reason to use levitate over da shield. Some cool tools including the stuff mlop can use like encore and fake out as well as new toy knock off.

illumise.gif

Name: Illumise
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Removal (Defog)
Type:
Bug.png

Abilities: Oblivious / Tinted Lens / Flash Fire
Stats: 85/87/75/73/95/103 (BST: 518)
Movepool Additions: Fire Punch, Drain Punch
Justification: Tinted Lens U-Turn goes hard. stats are a bit higher than average to make up for it being pure bug. idk its almost 3 am where i am

Semester is about to end, so now I can actually run this

615.png

Pokemon: Cryogonal
Roles: Speed Control, Hazard Control, Special Wallbreaker
Type:
Ice.png
Rock.png

Abilities: Heatproof / Ice Body | Technician
Stats: 60 / 85 / 40 / 105 / 125 / 95 (510 BST)
Movepool Additions: Accelrock, Rock Blast, Rock Slide, Stone Edge, Power Gem, Meteor Beam, Sharpen
Movepool Removals: Triple Axel
Justification: Functions as either a dual-priority revenge killer (with Triple Axel removed cuz 180 BP STAB is just too much) or a Meteor Beam wallbreaker. Revenges the fires that exist at the moment and should have a wide use case in the future with Ice Shard. Could also run a specially-defensive set that checks fires and spins but that generally sounds mediocre. Solrock and Aegi handle this mon with ease, faster physical stuff scares it away too

And with that, votes are open!

Tuthur wins for speed control, I'll use my remaining votes to put Endrism and Scoopapa in a tiebreaker scenario- So get those tiebreaker votes in. Scoop and Endrism cannot vote here, I'll cast my tiebreaker for Endrism

ps: sorry for the all the delays- managing a pmpl team has been a lot and my general motivation was pretty down over my last semester. Hopefully I can get it back up this summer

Movepool Additions: Rehydration, Earthquake, Flip Turn, Bulldoze, Rapid Spin, Shore Up
Movepool Removals: Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Rock Blast, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Shell Smash.
Justification: Helix God the role of a fast threat who may not have the highest attacking stat, but its good enough to break what it needs to. Role(s): Speed Control, Hazard Removal
Type:
Electric.png

Abilities: Galvanize
Stat Distribution: 55 / 95 / 55 / 75 / 55 / 70 | 405
Movepool Additions: Extreme Speed, Knock Off, Rapid Spin
Justification: Galvanize Extreme Speed turns Pichu into a deadly revenge killer. Pichu is overall a great offensive utility with access to Knock Off to cripple Ground-types and Volt Switch + Rapid Spin to support its team further.
Pichu @ Eviolite
Ability: Galvanize
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Extreme Speed
- Volt Switch
- Rapid Spin
- Knock Off

Winners for this slate, next slate is 1 stallbreaker and 1 setup sweeper

103-a.png

Pokemon: Exeggutor-Alola
Roles: Stallbreaker, Mixed Wallbreaker
Type:
Grass.png
Dragon.png

Abilities:
Harvest / Long Reach | Magic Guard
Stats: 95 / 90 / 65 / 105 / 85 / 43 (483 BST)
Movepool Additions: Taunt
Movepool Removals: Flamethrower, Leaf Storm, Synthesis
Justification: Mixed attacker that 2HKOes the entire meta barring Komala with EQ/Giga Drain/Draco at the moment. Scary stuff, but slow as hell and not particularly bulky without investment. Komala's Spirit Break does heavy damage and generally leaves it as a solid check barring fully physical Power Whip variants. Outside of dismantling fat it is also an alright check against Pichu and the waters. A fully defensive set could work too potentially, but low defense and a crippling Ice weakness leaves both sides pretty unappealing to invest into.

875-n.png

Pokemon: Eiscue
Roles: Setup Sweeper
Type:
Ice.png
Steel.png

Abilities:
Ice Face
Stats: 75 / 50 / 90 / 95 / 110 / 55 (475 BST)
Noice Stats: 75 / 50 / 50 / 95 / 70 / 135 (475 BST)
Movepool Additions: Flash Cannon, Nasty Plot, Knock Off
Justification: Eiscue's design space is pretty interesting, but it never really panned out due to its poor coverage, belly drum, and over-reliance on breaking Ice Face. I hope to fix these shortcomings by shifting to a special focus, with the more sustainable Nasty Plot and a secondary Steel-typing to give it a much needed survivability boost. I also swapped the defenses because, honestly, only Special Defense matters here. With this setup it should be able to get off Nasty Plots pretty consistently and threaten basically anything but Aegislash with just Freeze Dry/Flash Cannon/Hydro Pump. Balanced out by the aforementioned Aegislash, Chandelure before the ice breaks, and Pichu post-break.

:ss/guzzlord:
Pokemon: Guzzlord
Roles: Stallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker
Type:
Poison.png
Dragon.png

Abilities:
Gluttony / Clear Body
Stats: 103 / 79 / 71 / 113 / 71 / 83 (520 BST)
Movepool Additions: Taunt, Core Enforcer
Movepool Removals: Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Heat Crash, Heat Wave, Earthquake, High Horsepower
Justification: great offensive and defensive typing along with immunity to poison and taunt makes it an effective stallbreaker. its lack of steel coverage, recovery, and good ability should hold it back.

:ss/klinklang:
Name of the Pokemon: Klinklang
Role(s): Mixed Wallbreaker, Set-up Sweeper
Type:
Steel.png
Electric.png

Abilities
: Clear Body / Volt Absorb / Sheer Force
Stat Distribution: 75 / 100 / 90 / 90 / 90 / 65 (510 BST)
Movepool Additions: Iron Head, Earth Power, Stealth Rock
Justification: return of klinklang. mixed sf shift gear goes hard. feel free to screenshot. also has a weird utility set with rocks + volt switch maybe. soundly outsped by scarf solgaleo and has some trouble with omastar.

:ss/toxel:
Name of the Pokemon: Toxel (no Eviolite)
Role(s): Stallbreaker, Offensive Pivot (Choice Scarf)
Type:
Electric.png
Poison.png

Abilities: Serene Grace, Static | Iron Fist
Stat Distribution: 79 / 96 / 81 / 77 / 81 / 96 | 510
Movepool Additions: Discharge, Drain Punch, Gunk Shot, Hex, Knock Off, Nasty Plot, Plasma Fist, Poison Fang, Poison Jab, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Switcheroo, Tail Glow, Taunt, Thunderbolt, Thunder Fang, Thunder Punch, Toxic, Volt Switch, Wild Charge
Justification: Serene Grace Discharge and Sludge Bomb is insane to cripple threats and make progress versus fatter teams. However, it struggles a ton versus Ground-types like Omastar and is quite weak before using Tail Glow.
Stallbreaker
Toxel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Tail Glow
- Discharge
- Sludge Bomb
- Hex / Volt Switch / Substitute

Choice Scarf
Toxel @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Iron Fist
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Plasma Fists
- Gunk Shot
- Knock Off / Switcheroo
- Volt Switch

:ss/dratini:
Name of the Pokemon: Dratini (Eviolite Compatible)
Role(s): Quiver Dance Sweeper
Type:
Dragon.png

Abilities: Competitive
Stat Distribution: 40 / 70 / 40 / 135 / 40 / 75 | 400
Movepool Additions: Core Enforcer, Quiver Dance
Justification: Great asset for screen offense as it kinda lacks the bulk to setup without them. Its low Speed means it can be kept in check by Choice Scarf users, while its coverage means it's going to struggle to break past Fairy-types like Komala.
Dratini @ Eviolite
Ability: Competitive
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Core Enforcer
- Fire Blast
- Hydro Pump

Type: Ghost/Ground
Abilities: Prankster (H: Cursed Body)
Stats: 100/125/80/65/60/90 (BST: 520)
Movepool Changes: +Earthquake, Shadow Force, Shadow Sneak -Haze
Description: Spectrier utilizes its powerful attack stat & Prankster Taunt to stallbreak. It also can spread burns with Will-O-Wisp and deal some decent damage with its strong STABs.

:ss/doublade:
Name: Doublade (Eviolite Compatible)

Movepool Changes: +Blizzard, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Meteor Mash, Poltergeist, Work Up -Brick Break, Brutal Swing, Close Combat, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Sacred Sword, Swords Dance
Description: Doublade sets up with Work Up for strong mixed options with powerful stab Poltergeist & Meteor Mash with No Guard coverage in Blizzard, Fire Blast, & Focus Blast. Doublade can also set up easily if holding Eviolite or can go for an offensive item to go that route instead.

:ss/toxtricity-low-key:
Name: Toxtricity-Low-Key
Role: Stallbreaker, Spin Blocker, Spikes
Type: Ghost/Poison
Abilities: Sticky Hold / Iron Fist | Rough Skin (HA)
Stats: 80/105/80/60/80/80 (BST: 505)
Movepool Changes: +Shadow Bone, Moonlight, Spikes, Mean Look | -Shift Gear, Volt Switch, Discharge
Description: With immunity to many staples of defensive play, Taunt, recovery, and trapping, this Toxtricity can be a menace to highly defensive teams. Spikes + Spinblocking gives it some all-around utility so it's not too pigdeonholed. I could imagine it running as a bulky bander as well, since Gunk Shot will hit pretty hard.

:ss/rayquaza:
Name: Rayquaza
Role: Setup Sweeper
Type: Dragon/Flying
Abilities: Pressure
Stats: 85/100/80/70/60/90 (BST: 480)
Movepool Changes: +Coil | -V-Create,
Description: Rayquaza's movepool is very strong, starting with Dragon Ascent. It can run Dragon Dance or Swords Dance, with options like Earthquake, Extreme Speed, and Scale Shot to allow itself to be fairly unpredictable. For instance, Extreme Speed can help it vs. Pichu, Swords Dance is more likely to break Solrock, while Dragon Dance can handle non-Scarf Solgaleo.

forretress.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Forretress
Role(s): Setup Sweeper (Quiver Shell), Hazards (Stealth Rock, Spikes), Physical Wall, Slow Pivot (Volt Switch)
Type:
Bug.png
Fighting.png

Abilities: Magic Guard
Stat Distribution: 65 / 105 / 155 / 60 / 60 / 50 (495 BST)
Custom Elements: Quiver Shell - Physical Quiver Dance (Boosts Attack, Defense, and Speed)
Movepool Additions: Lunge, Sky Uppercut
Movepool Removals: Gyro Ball, Heavy Slam
Justification: While it's typing of Bug and Fighting leaves it a weakness to a prevalent offensive typing and unable to hit Aegislash and Komala, Quiver Shell allows it to boost it’s already impressive Attack and Defense stats to a boisterous level. Although it’s pretty frail on the special side, with no means of recovery.

jumpluff.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Jumpluff
Role(s): Stallbreaker, Cleric (Aromatherapy), Status (Stun Spore, Poison Powder), Hazard Removal
Type:

Stat Distribution: 75 / 55 / 70 / 95 / 95 / 110 (500 BST)
Movepool Additions: Taunt, Defog
Movepool Removals: Sleep Powder
Justification: Fastest Pokemon of the tier, able to outspeed any stall and use Taunt to disable their tactics. Also sips on Carracosta, Omastar, and Solrock with Giga Drain. Can spread paralysis and remove hazards too.

Im just gonna resub my slate 1 Pokémon

:ss/dustox:
Name of the Pokemon: Dustox
Role(s): Physical Wall, Set Up Sweeper
Type: Poison / Flying
Abilities:
Shield Dust / Effect Spore | HA: Marvel Scale
Stat Distribution: 71 HP / 70 Atk / 80 Def / 100 SpA / 75 SpD / 74 Spe
Movepool Additions: U-turn, Air Slash, Heat Wave, Stored Power
Movepool Removals: Defog
Justification: Dustox serves as a great set up sweeper thanks to its useful Poison / Flying typing walling a number of prominent physical types. It can also attempt a Quiver Dance set but its stat s seem a bit too underwhelming for that. Mon can also spam the greatest U-turn in the game.

:ss/virizion:
Name of the Pokemon: Virizion
Role(s): Stallbreaker, Trapping
Type: Steel / Grass
Abilities:
Justified / Sap Sipper | HA: Steely Spirit
Stat Distribution: 61 HP / 90 Atk / 86 Def / 70 SpA / 99 SpD / 88 Spe
Movepool Additions: Anchor Shot, Leech Seed, Taunt, Horn Leech
Movepool Removals: Close Combat
Justification: Earl had a snappy example for a role, and I knew I was planning on going Steel / Grass with this, so I decided to say fuck it! Virizion plays like a hybrid of Heatran, Ferrothorn and probably something else I dont know.

:ss/spectrier:
Name: Spectrier

Movepool Changes: +Blizzard, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Meteor Mash, Poltergeist, Sword Up -Brick Break, Brutal Swing, Close Combat, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Sacred Sword, Swords Dance
Sword Up: Steel/Status/--- bp/--- acc/20 (32) PP/Raises the user's Att, SpA, & Spe by 1.
Description: Doublade sets up with Sword Up for strong mixed options with powerful stab Poltergeist & Meteor Mash with No Guard coverage in Blizzard, Fire Blast, & Focus Blast. Doublade can also set up easily if holding Eviolite or can go for an offensive item to go that route instead.
I’ll give you a day to fix these but as is both of these subs are far too powerful. I’d recommend checking the spreadsheet for getting an idea of the power level.

Votes open once the user fixes these or they get disqualified

EDIT: votes open
