Name of the Pokemon: Claydol
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Hazards (Stealth Rock), Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin), Trick Room setter, Wincon (Calm Mind)
Type: Electric / Dragon
Abilities: Force Field | Shadow Shield (HA)
Force Field - Raises SpD by 1 stage upon switching in.
Stat Distribution: 80 / 70 / 100 / 90 / 80 / 55 (485 BST)
Movepool Additions: Volt Switch, Discharge, Core Enforcer,
Movepool Removals: Trick
Justification: Support pokemon with a bunch of special bulk and some useful resistances. Rapid Spin / Stealth Rock / Volt Switch / Core Enforcer seems reliable, if a bit passive.
Name of the Pokemon: Zapdos
Role(s): Setup Sweeper (Agility + Bolt Beak), Defensive Pivot, Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin, Defog),
Type: Electric / Flying
Abilities: Beast Boost | Technician (HA)
Stat Distribution: 85 / 90 / 100 / 85 / 85 / 45 (480 BST)
Movepool Additions: Bolt Beak, Flame Charge
Movepool Removals: Defog, Volt Switch, U-turn
Justification: Zapdos attempts to go for late game sweeps using Agility + Bolt Beak. It has solid bulk to set up with, and decent coverage in Brave Bird. However, it has a gap in coverage vs. other Electric types, and any Ground type that can handle Brave Bird. It also has potential as a defensive pivot due to its bulk and typing.
Edit: I decided to remove its support moves to dissuade it from running defensive sets. Increasing the speed as was suggested would, in my opinion, turn it into an All-Out-Attacker. The speed was specifically chosen to always underspeed 0 investment Solrock, making it an easy wall to any non-Agility set. If it outsped Solrock naturally it would just 2HKO it with any kind of boosting item.
