Name: Zorua (Eviolite Compatible)
Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Specs/Scarf User
Type: Dark/Fairy
Abilities: Limber, Infiltrator
Stats: 70/73/50/110/71/120
Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Draining Kiss, Psychic, Parting Shot
Movepool Removals: Sludge Bomb, Nasty Plot
Justification: Bad Persian-Alola imitation, BUT, it's a little faster, it hits a lot harder, and it can give out a mean Dark Pulse. Running something like: D-Pulse, D-Gleam, filler, Parting Shot/U-Turn, which can be a pain in the ass.
Name: Bronzong
Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Physical Wall, Special Wall, Hazard Setter,
Type: Steel
Abilities: Levitate, Heatproof | Heavy Metal
Stats: 70/75/110/80/115/35
Movepool Additions: Teleport
Movepool Removals:
Justifications: can tank hits, presses teleport like the annoying piece of metal it is. Stealth Rock, Teleport, Gyro Ball/Heavy Slam, EQ/Toxic
Name of the Pokemon: Alomomola Roles: Cleric, Defensive Pivot, Mixed Wall, Special Wall, Trapper (?) Type:
Abilities: Swift Swim / Regenerator | Poison Heal (HA) Stat Distribution: 100 / 80 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 70 [BST: 490] Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Flip Turn, Moonblast, Spirit Break Movepool Removals: - Justification: Behold, the fish that will annoy you with Knock Off, Scald burn chance, Spirit Break SpA drop, and Wishturn. I mean just look at it. It just an og Alomomola, or even better.
Name of the Pokemon: Ledian Roles: Choice Band, Choice Specs, Dual Screener, Hazard Removal (Defog), Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper (Power-Up Punch) Type:
Abilities: No Guard | Iron Fist (HA) Stat Distribution: 55 / 95 / 70 / 90 / 70 / 110 [BST: 490] Movepool Additions: Blizzard, Close Combat, Thunder Movepool Removals: Swords Dance Justification: Finally, Ledian can run Iron Fist viably. With varieties of attacks and utilities, it can provide a lot of things to the team, likes Defog, dual screen, and more. Its main offensive feature is Iron Fist with STAB Drain/Mach Punch, special set with No Guard is usable too. Its main supportive features is, as I said, Defog, screens, and also Knock Off. All of which are meant to be used with U-turn.
Name of the Pokemon: Arcanine Role(s): Offensive Pivot Type: Fire / Ground Abilities: Intimidate, Flash Fire | Tough Claws Stat Distribution: 80/ 95 / 70 / 70 / 70 / 115 (495 BST) Movepool Additions: Earthquake, U-turn Movepool Removals: Close Combat, Extreme Speed Justification: Tough Claws allows Arcanine to hit hard with its U-Turn and Flare Blitz with the ability to heal it off with Morning Sun, while still being able to use its Intimdate pivot niche. The added Ground type not only adds a powerful STAB in EQ, but also reduces the amount taken by Steath Rock to not necessarily make Boots a necessity. CC and E-Speed were removed as they would either break Levitate Solrock too easily (Play Rough is still an option) or would make Arcanine a revenge killer more than a pivot with Tough Claws
Name of the Pokemon: Drifblim Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Status Absorber Type:
Abilities: Flare Boost | Filter | Natural Cure Stat Distribution: 150 / 70 / 59 / 70 / 69 / 50 (478 BST) Movepool Additions: Corrosive Gas, Sludge Wave, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Risky Medicine Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Thunder Wave, Knock Off Custom Elements: Risky Medicine - Poison Type - Status - 10 PP - The user drains 1/3rd of its health and switches out, it's replacement receiving 1/3 of the user's HP. Justification: A defensive pivot that can heal it's allies for a cost of it's own health, Drifblim can be supportive to who it pivots into. despite pivot-wish sounding broken beyond repair, Aegislash at most heals for 3/4 HP, and Solrock for only a little over 1/4th. This, however, comes at a cost of Drifblim losing 1/3rd of it's health and potentially another 1/4th due to hazards such as Stealth Rocks. Drifblim's only recovery options are Pain Split (In most cases, useless) and Strength Sap, so if it is facing an opponent who is specially oriented, it may not be able to endure for long.

Name of the Pokemon: Castform-Rainy Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Mixed Attacker Type:
Abilities: Adaptability | Transistor Stat Distribution: 80 / 80 / 60 / 80 / 70 / 120 (470 BST) Movepool Additions: Draining Kiss, Flip Turn, Volt Switch, Liquidation, Calm Mind, Bulk Up Movepool Removals: Defog, Fire Blast, Flamethrower Justification: Awww shit. Here comes Cast-man.
Castform's Schtick is set confusion. It is able to run an Adaptability Flip Turn/Liquidation pivot set, or a Transistor Volt Switch/Thunderbolt set, similar to Greninja in OU being Male and Non-Shiny to mask it's ability, Castform does the same with it's ability to be either a special or physical attacker.
Name of Pokemon: Tyrantrum Roles: Offensive Pivot, Hazards, Speed Control (Scarf), Physical Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Strong Jaw / Intimidate | Mythical Presence* Stat Distribution: 107 / 111 / 74 / 51 / 74 / 88 (505 BST) Movepool Additions: Parting Shot, Knock Off, Jaw Lock, Taunt Movepool Removals: Dragon Dance, Iron Head, Close Combat, Superpower, Crunch Custom Elements: Mythical Presence- Intimdate, but for Special Attack. CS1 Flygon's ability. Justification: Somewhat modeled off of CS1 Pangoro and Flygon, Tyrantrum functions as a flexible offensive pivot that boasts a protean (the adjective, not the ability) defensive profile by virtue of dual -1 offense abilities. Parting Shot is an essential move as it allows Tyrantrum to pivot in the first place (intentionally suboptimal compared to U-Turn) while various utility moves like Knock and SR means it can fit on a wide variety of team structures. Easily comes in on Aegislash while being soundly checked by Solrock... Unless Tyrantrum runs a surprise wallbreaker set that utilizes Strong Jaw, Jaw Lock, and Psychic Fangs. Then the Solrock is trapped in there with you. In a small metagame, I feel that each Pokemon should be flexible to maintain variety within the confines of 20 picks.
Name of Pokemon: Dewgong Roles: Defensive Pivot, Cleric (Wish, Heal Bell), Special Wallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Regenerator / Thick Fat | Refrigerate Stat Distribution: 90 / 75 / 80 / 70 / 105 / 65 (485 BST) Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Freeze-Dry, Wish, Heal Bell, Boomburst, Icicle Crash, Hydro Pump Justification: This bad boy isn't modeled off of any existing CS Pokemon or anything, I was just inspired. Dewgong's primary role is that of a defensive pivot- It can switch into most neutral hits, pop off a Wish or Flip Turn, and keep the team's momentum going. Regenerator is key here to keep Dewgong itself healthy, as it has a very poor defensive typing and will be mostly eating heavy neutral attacks throughout the game. It's also very passive, with low attacking stats and no Scald. On the other hand, if you prefer havoc, you can always bust out the specs Refrigerate Boomburst. It's incredibly powerful, but you will not be on the field for long and you're still hard stopped by any decently bulky Ice resist. Still a very funny set if you can manage to gaslight the opponent into thinking you're standard regen.
Name of the Pokemon: Drifblim Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Status Absorber Type:
Abilities: Flare Boost | Filter | Natural Cure Stat Distribution: 150 / 70 / 69 / 70 / 89 / 50 (498 BST) Movepool Additions: Corrosive Gas, Sludge Wave, Venom Drench, Venoshock, Risky Medicine Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Thunder Wave, Knock Off Custom Elements: Risky Medicine - Poison Type - Status - 10 PP - The user drains 1/3rd of its health and switches out, it's replacement receiving 1/3 of the user's HP. Castform's Schtick is set confusion. It is able to run a Storm Drain immunity pivot set, or a Transistor Volt Switch/Thunderbolt set, similar to Greninja in OU being Male and Non-Shiny to mask it's ability, Castform does the same with it's ability to be either a special or physical attacker.

I love the concept but this Pokemon is still way too bulky overall. -10 to both defensive stats would probably make it more feasible to break, but even then 150/79 special bulk is pretty absurd (for reference, Alomomola has 165/80 and is an incredible physical wall) so I advocate for further reducing the special bulk.
The Storm Drain/Water Absorb (which is it?) sets seem much worse than Transistor sets right now. A secondary STAB is just worth a whole lot more than an immunity to an existing resistance. I would recommend either boosting attack (curse+flip turn with that speed is also a bit of a ??) and giving it some better physical options or giving it a better ability to compete with Transistor.
Name of the Pokemon: Arcanine Role(s): Offensive Pivot Type: Fire / Ground Abilities: Intimidate, Flash Fire | Tough Claws Stat Distribution: 90 / 105 / 80 / 70 / 80 / 115 (535 BST) Movepool Additions: Earthquake, U-turn Movepool Removals: Close Combat, Extreme Speed Justification: Tough Claws allows Arcanine to hit hard with its U-Turn and Flare Blitz with the ability to heal it off with Morning Sun, while still being able to use its Intimdate pivot niche.
Conceptually balanced, just objectively overpowered at the moment. Tough Claws sets hit way too hard while Intimidate sets are incredibly bulky, so I think a straight nerf to all of Arcanine's stats (except for speed, I guess) is the way to go here.
Name of the Pokemon: Alomomola Roles: Cleric, Defensive Pivot, Mixed Wall, Special Wall, Trapper (?) Type:
Abilities: Swift Swim / Regenerator | Poison Heal (HA) Stat Distribution: 150 / 70 / 70 / 70 / 90 / 50 [BST: 500] Movepool Additions: Dazzling Gleam, Flip Turn, Moonblast, Spirit Break Movepool Removals: - Justification: Behold, the fish that will annoy you with Knock Off, Scald burn chance, Spirit Break SpA drop, and Wishturn. Just way, way too bulky. Wish+Flip Turn with that HP and Regenerator is also very concerning. Cut the bulk down significantly (for reference, your current bulk is roughly equal to 100/95/120. Something like 100/70/90 is still quite bulky with regenerator in this metagame).

I would remove Nasty Plot just to make sure that it doesn't overshadow Parting Shot sets.
Just a tad too bulky all around in my opinion. Consider shaving off 10-15 HP or so
Name of the Pokemon: Magnezone Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Trapping, Stallbreaker. Type:
Abilities: Levitate Stat Distribution: 100/55/130/130/70/50 (535 BST) Movepool Additions: Thunder Cage. Movepool Removals: non
Justification: Physically bulky pivot with an incredible typing, and an ability that covers its most terrible weakness. Stealing a little beat from heatran, being able to trap most walls and outstall them with toxic. able to run bp sets with Iron Defense, and much more<3
Name of the Pokemon: Nihilego Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Choice user? Type:
Abilities: Bulletproof Stat Distribution: 109/53/53/99/143/103 (560 BST) Movepool Additions: Earth Power, Volt Switch, Parting Shot, Recover. Movepool Removals: Power Gem Justification: now, with a better offensive, and specially, a better defensive typing, and the addition of Bulletproof and pivoting moves, Nihilego can switch in, tank most special attacks, and toxic/set rocks/pivot out to maintain momentum, the only downside its that its terribly frail on the physical side:(
Pretty crazy bulk for an offensive pivot that boasts one of the best defensive typings in the game. Nerf the bulk significantly, I have no issues with a slow+bulky offensive pivot but this is just too defensively potent for how strong it is.
Also feels a bit overstatted- It can easily run a Meteor Beam sweeping set to abuse the fact that it has absurd special bulk. Reducing the HP and especially removing Recover (Pain Split works well enough for a mon like this) is probably the way to go here.
Name of the Pokemon: Golisopod Role(s): Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Spikes) Type: Bug / Water Abilities: Emergency Exit / Bulletproof / Rebound Stat Distribution: 75 / 95 / 140 / 90 / 60 / 40 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Flip Turn Justification: golisopod is a fat physical wall with a lot of utility in scald, knock off, spikes, and uturn/flip turn. balanced by low special bulk, lack of recovery, and reliance on hdb
Name of the Pokemon: Manaphy Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Special Wallbreaker, Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Control (Defog) Type: Water / Fairy Abilities: Hydration / Frisk Stat Distribution: 80 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 120 (520 BST) Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Play Rough, Hydro Pump, Earthquake, Defog Movepool Removals: Calm Mind (tg should be gone already) Justification: lack of good offensive presence should be offset by its amazing typing and high speed. should be fairly powerful with specs/band or incredibly fast with scarf.
Entei
Roles: Offensive Pivot, Choice Band/Scarf User Type:
Abilities: Blaze / Regenerator Stats: 115 / 125 / 60 / 85 / 65 / 100 (BST: 550) New Moves: U-turn Removed: Sacred Fire Justification: Offensive Regen user ftw. Some Mienshao type beat mon that can switch around on light chip but struggles against burst. Relies on Flare Blitz for good damage, but it gets a lot of cool coverage as well as some prio. Murders Aegislash but gets hard-countered by Solrock.
Abilities: Poison Touch / Static / Swift Swim Stats: 85 / 40 / 70 / 115 / 115 / 70 (BST: 495) New Moves: Flip Turn, Energy Ball, Thunder Wave Justification: Some Zapdos-like mon. You got utility in defog and Twave but the biggest part of its strength comes from its unpassiveness (yes im coming up with words shut up). It can pressure mons with strong Scalds and Hurricanes and use that to gain momentum. Also can use the flip turn poison touch tech because thats the coolest combo ever. Loses the 1v1 vs Solrock but neither can reliably switch on each other. Neutral matchup vs Aegi but mantine has the edge.
This looks wip but regardless, the stats+movepool on this just looks like a lot to handle for anything that isn't solrock. Attack is probably the stat to shave down. Cutting Pyro Ball is also a way to nerf it and not have to reduce the attack as much.
Name: Medicham
Role: Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker
Type: Psychic/Fighting
Abilities: Unaware (H: Telepathy)
Stats: 70 / 110 / 85 / 80 / 80 / 90 (BST: 515)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn
Movepool Removals:
Justification: Created to destroy Solrock with the power of offensive unaware. Did you know that Unaware ignores defensive stat boosts while the unaware pokemon is attacking? Well Dauntless Shield Solrock is no match for Medicham. Below average bulk & a not very good defensive typing hold back from being a stall wall, but u-turn & a sr resistance help it become a nice offensive pivot. It isn't very fast in exchange for being very strong.
Name: Dewgong
Role: Defensive Pivot, Stall, Mixed Wall
Type: Water/Ice
Abilities: Deep Freeze / Hydration (H: Ice Body)
Stats: 90 / 80 / 115 / 80 / 130 / 80 (BST: 575)
Movepool Additions: Flip Turn, Parting Shot, Hydro Pump, Life Dew
Movepool Removals:
Deep Freeze - If this pokemon is an Ice-type, it restores 1/8 of its maximum HP at the end of each full turn. If this pokemon is not an Ice type, they lose 1/8 of their maximum HP each turn.
Justification: Funni Seal. Great bulk, pivoting, & a good ability allow Dewgong to work well. A weakness to sr sucks but can be ignored through boots. Entrainment can be used as a meme set for giving the opponent's pokemon Deep Freeze in order to damage them over time. Annoys Aegislash's trace set and might make it more likely to use the more unique Wandering Spirit. Shoutouts to abismal for being cool enough to let me use this idea.
Name of the Pokemon: Gengar Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Status Spreader, Anti-Toxapex Type: Ghost/Fairy Abilities: Cursed Body, Prankster Stat Distribution: 70/50/70/115/80/115 Movepool Additions: Spectral Flee, Moonblast Movepool Removals: Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave Custom Elements: Spectral Flee - Status - This pokemon swaps out, and the incoming pokemon takes no damage on this turn, as if protected. (The opposing [pokemon] was protected by the specter!) Justification: Gengar is suspected to be shadow Clefable, so Ghost-Fairy makes sense as well as being good coverage. The buff to speed and nerf to special attack make sure that it's a strong pivot, without being too overpowered.
Spectral Flee is insanely broken. It's essentially a Teleport with none of the downsides, so it needs to be either replaced or significantly nerfed (reduce damage by half instead of full protect, for example). It's also probably worth it to drop Nasty Plot here as that seems quite potent compared to pure pivot sets.
No Poison type slate 1????????? Needa fix that pronto.
Name of the Pokemon: Flapple Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazard Remover (Defog), Priority (Sucker Punch) Type:
Abilities: Force of Attraction* | Bulletproof (HA) Stat Distribution: 75 / 95 / 105 / 70 / 85 / 115 | 545 BST Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Taunt, Defog Movepool Removals: All Dragon type moves Custom Elements: Force of Attraction - Summons Gravity on switch in. Justification: Flapple flexes its high speed and accesd to Gravity Boosted Grav Apple to force switches that it can then take advantage of via U-turn and Knock Off. Lack of boosting options and a lacklustre Attacking stat help's keep it in check from destroying the tier. Defog gives it access to a form of utility.
Name of the Pokemon: Appletun Role(s): Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot Type:
Abilities: Thick Fat | Bulletproof (HA) Stat Distribution: 110 / 80 / 95 / 90 / 85 / 70 | 530 BST Movepool Additions: Baneful Bunker, Toxic, Flamethrower Movepool Removals: Recover, All Grass typed moves sans Leech Seed Custom Elements: Apple Acid - Now Poison typed. Justification: Appletun serves it's chief role as a tanky defensive pivot that stalls out foes with Baneful Bunker + Leech Seed. It lacking Recover limits how long it can stay in and keep up it's shenanigans.
Name of the Pokemon: Cosmoem (no Eviolite) Role(s): Defensive Pivot, Hazards (Stealth Rock), Hazard Removal (Defog), Trick Room, Dual Screens Type:
Abilities: Sturdy / Heavy Metal | Clear Body (HA) Stat Distribution: 80 / 85 / 85 / 85 / 110 / 65 (510 BST) Movepool Additions: Parting Shot, Stealth Rock, Defog, Recover, Will-o-Wisp, Toxic, Taunt, Heat Crash, Lava Plume, Knock Off, Dark Pulse, Earthquake, Earth Power, Flare Blitz, Flame Charge, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Night Slash, Payback, Assurance, Explosion, Sunny Day, Light Screen, Reflect, Trick Room, Block, Gravity, Shadow Ball Movepool Removals: Splash Justification: A typing meant to threaten Aegislash and leave it vulnerable to Solrock. Cosmoem has a balance of offense, defense, and support capabilities. It may not look powerful with 85 base offenses, but Heat Crash from such a heavy pokemon will be a big threat to offensive pokemon. It also has potential as a lead, being able to run Sturdy + Cutsap, with options like Stealth Rock, Trick Room, and Explosion.
Name of the Pokemon: Solgaleo Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazards (Stealth Rock), Set-up sweeper (Calm Mind), Dual Screens Type:
Abilities: Intimidate / Victory Star | Full Metal Body (HA) Stat Distribution: 65 / 85 / 80 / 100 / 65 / 105 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere, U-turn, Volt Switch, Movepool Removals: Heat Crash, Flare Blitz, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Mystical Fire, Knock Off, Justification: A typing meant to threaten Solrock and leave it vulnerable to Aegislash. Solgaleo can make use of its solid physical bulk to switch in, and then attack from either side of the spectrum, set Stealth Rock, or pivot out. It will be cursed by the weakness of Aura Sphere or the accuracy of Focus Blast, or it can go mixed and run Close Combat. You can run Victory Star if you really want to Crunch Aegislash without getting Intimidated.
Name of the Pokemon: Solgaleo Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Hazards (Stealth Rock), Set-up sweeper (Calm Mind), Dual Screens Type:
Abilities: Intimidate / Victory Star | Full Metal Body (HA) Stat Distribution: 65 / 85 / 80 / 100 / 65 / 105 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Aura Sphere, U-turn, Volt Switch, Movepool Removals: Heat Crash, Flare Blitz, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Mystical Fire, Knock Off, Justification: A typing meant to threaten Solrock and leave it vulnerable to Aegislash. It will be cursed by the weakness of Aura Sphere or the accuracy of Focus Blast, or it can go mixed and run Close Combat. Name of the Pokemon: Eiscue-Noice Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Long Reach | Swift Swim (HA) Stat Distribution: 75 / 130 / 105 / 30 / 65 / 75 | 480 BST Movepool Additions: Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Bulk Up Movepool Removals: Zen Headbutt, Head Smash, Belly Drum Justification: Eiscue-Noice serves primarily as a strong wallbreaker that bullies the hell out of Aegislash and has limited switchins outside of based Solrock.
Name of the Pokemon: Kricketune Role(s): Special Wallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Lightning Rod / Illuminate | Punk Rock (HA) Stat Distribution: 80 / 60 / 70 / 110 / 85 / 95 | 500 BST Movepool Additions: Thunderbolt, Overdrive, Volt Switch, Thunder, Discharge Movepool Removals: Sticky Web Justification: Punk Rock Dual STAB go brrrr
Name of the Pokemon: Incineroar Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot Type: Fire / Dark Abilities: Blaze / Reckless Stat Distribution: 80 / 115 / 90 / 60 / 90 / 95 (530 BST) Movepool Additions: Poison Jab Movepool Removals: all Fighting attacks Justification: comes in easily on aegislash and removes it or can uturn on choice sets/set up sd on other sets. walled soundly by solrock.
Name of the Pokemon: Claydol Role(s): Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Removal (Rapid Spin) Type: Ground / Poison Abilities: Thick Fat / Abyssal Light Stat Distribution: 70 / 60 / 60 / 110 / 115 / 85 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave Custom Elements: Abyssal Light (CS): This Pokemon draws in Dark-type attacks to boost SpD by 1 stage; immune to Dark. Justification: good stab synergy allows it to hit both aegislash and komala, the two current special walls in the tier. has to run weird stuff like psychic for solrock and revenge killed by solgaleo pretty soundly
