lycanroc-dusk.gif

Pokemon: Lycanroc-Dusk
Roles: Wallbreaker, Trapper, Sweeper,
Type:
Normal.png
Rock.png

Abilities:
Guts / Strong Jaw | Infiltrator (HA)
Stat Distribution: 75 / 110 / 60 / 100 / 80 / 100 | BST: 525
Added Moves: *Ankle Bite, Hone Claws, Nasty Plot, Power Gem, Play Rough, Hyper Fang, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Ice Beam, Blizzard, U-turn, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast
Removed Moves: Swords Dance, Earth Power
Custom Elements: Ankle Bite - Ghost-type Pursuit clone | Biting move
Justification: Very well-rounded and unpredictable wallbreaker. Ankle Bite is a useful trapping move that gets pseudo-STAB with Strong Jaw, and does a hefty chuck to Mew. Speaking of Mew, Guts allows Lycanroc to deal with it fairly easily. It can also defeat its usual counters by going for a Nasty Plot set with Infiltrator. It has a set for almost every opponent, however it has a very bad case of 4MSS, meaning each set will lose to more than one wall. It's also frail and weak to common priority moves and Choice Scarfers, so it's not hard to revenge kill.

solrock.gif

Pokemon: Solrock
Roles: Wallbreaker, Sun Setter, Trick Room Attacker, Stealth Rock
Type:
Rock.png
Fire.png

Abilities:
Levitate | Drought (HA)
Stat Distribution: 75 / 110 / 95 / 85 / 55 / 50 | BST: 470
Added Moves:
Removed Moves:
Trick Room, Calm Mind
Justification: A Fire-type nuke that can blow past Cofagrigus and many of the slower walls. Flare Blitz is its only physical Fire-type move and somewhat suicidal, but also extremely powerful. Uninvested Solar Beam can deal with Rhydon, Cloyster, and base Swampert, but lacks the power to beat Milotic or Lanturn. Stone Edge and Earthquake round out its great coverage. Mega Swampert easily deals with any set, resisting its attacks and nullifying its weather. Milotic can deal with physical sets by outspeeding them, as can Meganium to a lesser extent. It's also easily revenge killable by Flygon, Ninjask, and offensive Grass-types oddly enough. It might have to resort to Choice Scarf in order to not be dead weight vs. offense, but it can still break many walls with no boost.

articuno.gif

Pokemon: Articuno
Roles: Wallbreaker ( setup based ), Hail Abuser,
Type:
Ice.png
Flying.png

Abilities:
Refrigerate | Slush Rush (HA)
Stat Distribution: 90 / 75 / 65 / 110 / 90 / 90 | BST: 520
Added Moves: *Eagle Eye, Hyper Voice, Mud Bomb, Thunderbolt
Removed Moves: Heal Bell, Sheer Cold
Custom Elements: Eagle Eye - Raises SpA, SpD, and Accuracy 1 stage.
Justification: Special wallbreaker that boosts its inaccurate moves in order to become very threatening after a turn of setup. It also becomes difficult to revenge kill by the likes of Flygon and Ninjask at +1 SpD. Depending if it runs Roost or Substitute it can remain resilient against different defensive threats. It is still very vulnerable to Metagross, Sharpedo, Mega Sharpedo, and Raichu. Nihilego, Celesteela, and Thick Fat Rhydon can deal with it defensively. Stealth Rock is it's biggest hindrance, of course.

Edit: saving Decidueye for a future slate as the following sub is more likely to need a wild card category to be applicable:

ditto.gif

Pokemon: Ditto ( Quick Powder and Metal Powder compatible )
Roles: hazard setter, revenge killer, defensive pivot
Type:
Normal.png

Abilities:
Sticky Hold / Sturdy | Protean ( HA )
Stat Distribution: 115 / 35 / 50 / 90 / 60 / 50 | BST: 400
Added Moves: Hyper Voice, Flash Cannon, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Conversion, Hyper Beam
Justification: Designed to be a pokemon that viably uses the move Transform. Quick Powder doubles Ditto's Speed stat while Metal Powder doubles it's Defense. This allows it to function as a Spikes setter that either outspeeds the unboosted metagame ( but remember it can't use Focus Sash that way ) or has very strong physical bulk. It's offense is deceptively powerful thanks to Protean and the fact that it can run Modest quite easily. A fast Transform backed by a high HP stat allows it to steal support moves like Sticky Web, scout enemy movesets, and gain momentum in some situations. Sturdy is a bit gimmicky but it allows you to use Z-Transform, which completely refills your health and could turn around an enemy's sweep.
Offensive Spikes ( Ditto ) @ Quick Powder
252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe, Modest
Ability: Protean
- Spikes
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- Transform

Defensive Spikes ( Ditto ) @ Metal Powder
252 HP / 176 SpA / 80 Def, Modest
Ability: Protean
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- Transform / Toxic Spikes

Sturdy Z-Transform ( Ditto ) @ Normalium Z
252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD, Modest
Ability: Sturdy
- Transform
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Shadow Ball
- Hyper Voice / Hyper Beam

chandelure.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Chandelure
Role(s): Wallbreaker, Defensive Pivot, Choice Scarf, Offensive Pivot
Type:
Fire.png
Ghost.png

Abilities:
Flame Body, Flash Fire | Magic Guard
Stat Distribution: 65/90/95/133/47/100 | 530
Movepool Additions: Parting Shot
Movepool Removals: Calm Mind, Energy Ball, Hidden Power [Fighting] (like legendaries), Substitute, Taunt
Custom Elements: none
Justification:
+: powerfull STAB combination which is only resisted by Thick Fat Pangoro and Cloyster, can pivot, can't be trapped by Trapinch, versatile, walls Band Bulu and none-Eq Metagross and Celesteela, immunity to hazard
-: weak to Dark and Water 2 preminent types, Pursuit-bait, lacks coverage, struggles to break through its checks (Pangoro, Audino).
65/95 physical bulk allows Defensive Chandelure to always survive a Choice Band Adamant Earthquake from Metagross at full while outspeeding it. It also allows no bulk Chandelure to take a Pursuit while switching out from Choice Scarf Pangoro.
90 Atk allows Cofagrigus to always 2HKO no bulk Chandelure with Foul Play.
133 SpA lets Focus Sash Chandelure walled by PhysDef Audino-M and Life Orb Chandelure walled by Specially Defensive Audino-M. It also allows Lanturn to avoid the 2HKO from Life Orb Shadow Ball.
47 SpD allows Lanturn and Milotic to always OHKO no bulk Chandelure with Scald.
100 Spe allows it to Speed tie with Flygon and outspeed slow wallbreaker like Bulu and Gross with a minimal Speed investment.

ursaring.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Ursaring
Role(s): Wallbreaker, Speed Control
Type:
Normal.png

Abilities:
Honey Gather, Guts | Quick Feet
Stat Distribution: 80/110/80/34/80/71 | 455
Movepool Additions: none
Movepool Removals: Play Rough, Swords Dance
Custom Elements: none
Justification:
+: two extremely potent sets, outspeed Nihilego with an Adamant Nature, can 2HKO or OHKO most Pokémon with SR, perfect neutral coverage in Normal/Fighting/Dark, can absorb status
-: no good boosting option, hard countered in Cofagrigus, slow or not enough powerfull depending on the set
80/80/80 bulk allows Ursaring to switch into neutral weak move and avoid the OHKO from strong neutral hits like Life Orb Wild Charge from Raichu.
110 Attack allows Toucannon to survive 75% of the time an Adamant Guts Facade after SR, while avoiding the 4HKO on Physically defensive Cofagrigus.
71 Speed allows Ursaring to outspeed 8 EVs Nihilego with an Adamant nature and to outspeed Scarf Tapu Bulu with Quickfeet.
34 Special Attack in order nobody uses it.

Name of the Pokemon: Cacturne
Role(s): Wallbreaker, Sand Attacker
Type:
Grass.png
Fighting.png

Abilities:
Sand Rush, Sand Veil | Desert Coat
Stat Distribution: 70/120/57/118/70/65 | 495
Movepool Additions: Cactus Attack, Close Combat, Vacuum Wave
Movepool Removals: Payback, Foul Play, Sucker Punch
Custom Elements: Cactus Attack: Grass-type Sucker Punch ; Desert Coat: This Pokémon is immune to Burn and Sandstorm (Overcoat clone).
Justification:
+: versatile, very potent partner to M-Swampert, forces a lot of switch, access to Spikes while having a strong offensive presence, immunity to burn, hit like a truck
-: struggles against Flygon and Flying-type (Toucannon), mediocre bulk, bad speed, hard to set-up
70/57 physical bulk allows you to always take an Ice Shard from LO Raichu from full if no SR while being OHKOed every time by Nihilego's Venom Slam
70/70 bulk allows you to always live a Psychic from defensive Mew at full life if the SR aren't up while being always OHKOed by uninvested Flygon's Moonblast.
120 Atk allows you to OHKO defensive Mew with a +2 Poison Jab and a Life Orb.
118 SpA allows you to break through Nihilego only with a +2 Z-Focus Blast.
65 Speed forces you to run a +Spe nature to outspeed 8 EVs Nihilego while allowing you to outspeed every Scarfer bar Flygon at +2 with a neutral nature.

Abilities:
Beast Boost | Wonder Skin
Stat Distribution: 41/89/53/101/53/223 | 560
Movepool Additions: Sludge Bomb, Gunk Shot, Leech Life
Movepool Removals: High Jump Kick, Focus Blast, Quiver Dance, Drill Run
Custom Elements: none
Justification:
+: divine speed tier, can pivot, can spin, decent offensive power, powerfull U-Turn, two strongs abilities
-: terrible bulk, terrible offensive typing, can't break through spinblockers, no set-up option, can't break through Poison-type, susceptible to priority
89 Atk allows Pheromosa to OHKO Sharpedo and Raichu with Jump Kick if holding an Expert Belt.
101 SpA allows Pheromosa to always OHKO Flygon with Sludge Bomb if holding an Expert Belt and to always 2HKO SpD M-Audino after SR.
223 Speed allows Pheromosa to outspeed +1 Raichu and +2 neutral Spe Sharpedo.
41/53/53 gives Pheromosa a terrible bulk which prevents it from switching into even resisted hits.

Type:

Abilities: Blaze | HA: Reckless
Stat Distribution:
HP 114
ATK 111
DEF 77
SPA 70
SPD 77
SPE 86
BST 535
Movepool Additions:
Stealth Rock, Rock Polish, Swords Dance, Double-Edge, Bullet Punch, Backfire*
Movepool Removals: Arm Thrust, Bulk Up, Focus Blast, Low Kick, Low Sweep
Custom Elements: *Backfire (Fire-type U-turn clone)
Justification: A fast Choice Scarf user that can abuse Reckless or a bulky/tanky Choice Band or Curse user with 2 heavy hitting STABs and Wild Charge. Typing is also only on Magcargo which is special-based, defensive and weak, so we haven’t really seen it in action yet (except in Type Optimisation).

Name of the Pokemon: Dodrio
Role(s): Wallbreaker, Skill Link Abuser
Type:

Abilities: Early Bird / Skill Link | HA: Mold Breaker
Stat Distribution:
HP 75
ATK 100
DEF 60
SPA 65
SPD 85
SPE 110
BST 495
Movepool Additions:
Bonemerang, Plume Cannon*, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Tail Slap, Bullet Seed, High Jump Kick, Triple Kick, Refresh, U-turn
Movepool Removals: Brave Bird
Custom Elements: *Plume Cannon (Flying-type clone of Bullet Seed)
Justification: A nearly unresisted STAB combo that can benefit from Mold Breaker, or break all kind of Substitutes with Skill Link and 2 STABs. It’s heavily walled by Electric-Steel-Rock/Flying types, but none of them is present in the meta yet.

trevenant.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Trevenant
Role(s): Physical wallbreaker, Choice Band, Setup sweeper, Sun abuser
Type: Ghost / Fighting
Abilities: Natural Cure / Harvest / Long Reach
Stat Distribution: 85 / 102 / 73 / 64 / 81 / 60
Movepool Additions: Bulk Up, Close Combat
Movepool Removals: Will-o-Wisp, Destiny Bond
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Trevenant is a good physical sweeper with a nearly unresisted STAB combo and 3 usable abilties. It's base stats are a little low to balance out the generally powerful Ghost / Fighting, so Trevenant needs to set up with Bulk Up or even Z-Forest's Curse. Long Reach is a surprisingly useful ability in this meta to avoid Mummy or Rough Skin from Cofagrigus and Beak Blast from Toucannon. Natural Cure can be used to cure Burns and Poison to keep Trevenant usable, and Harvest would be useful on Sun teams with a Sitrus Berry or a Salac Berry for a pseudo-speed boost.

spiritomb.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Spiritomb
Role(s): Special wallbreaker, Sand abuser, special wall, setup sweeper
Type: Rock / Ghost
Abilities: Abyssal Light / Pressure / Sand Rush
Stat Distribution: 60 / 72 / 64 / 124 / 112 / 56
Movepool Additions: Power Gem, Cursed Gem
Movepool Removals: N/A
Custom Elements: Cursed Gem: Rock, Special, 30% chance to inflict Perish Song (Dark Pulse clone)
Justification: Forcing switches and setting up, that's what Spiritomb is all about. It works very well as a Sand abuser due to Sand Rush and being rock type. It can't outspeed much unboosted, but in Sand, only Raichu and Ninjask outspeed it. Abyssal Light is another good ability to stop Knock Off spam and hopefully give Spiritomb a chance to set up using Nasty Plot or Calm Mind. Cursed Gem is a good Rock STAB with the interesting effect of inflicting Perish Song, forcing the opponent to switch or die. Unfortunately, Rock / Ghost isn't the best defensive typing and Spiritomb is quite frail on the physical side.
Special wall (Spiritomb) @ Leftovers
Ability: Abyssal Light
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Cursed Gem
- Calm Mind
- Pain Split
- Substitute / Will-o-wisp

Special wallbreaker (Spiritomb) @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Cursed Gem
- Shadow Ball
- Nasty Plot
- Destiny Bond / Memento

charjabug.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Charjabug (No Eviolite)
Roles: Wallbreaker, Choice Band
Type: Electric/Bug
Abilities: Battery / Refuel
Stat Distribution: 57/121/100/45/60/95 (BST: 478)
Movepool Additions: U-Turn, High Horsepower, Overcharge
Movepool Removals: N/A
Custom Elements:
Refuel- Fire Type Motor Drive clone
Overcharge- Electric Type Superpower Clone, lowers Attack and Special Attack on use
Justification: Charjabug can effectively deal with some of the meta's biggest walls, including having an immunity to Mew's Will-O-Wisp and having Bug STAB for it, and Electric STAB for the influx of Water types in the meta (besides swampert and volt absorb lanturn). Refuel also gives Charjabug a decent matchup against Mega Sharpedo if it manages to switch into a Fire Blast.

combee.gif

Pokemon: Combee (not compatible with Eviolite)
Roles: Wallbreaker, Choice Band User
Type:

Abilities: Honey Gather / Teamwork* (HA)
Base Stats: 70 / 70 / 102 / 30 / 72 / 86 (430 BST)
Movepool Additions: Poison Jab, Aerial Ace, Low Sweep, Tri Attack, Roost
Movepool Removals: None
Custom Elements: Teamwork: This Pokemon's damaging moves hit three times. (Parental Bond clone)
Uses: Combee can easily wallbreak thanks to its 180 base power STAB moves in Aerial Ace and Bug Bite. It can break through Audino with Poison Jab and hit Steel types with Low Sweep. However it is really weak to Stealth Rock and strong priority attacks.

regigigas.gif

Pokemon: Regigigas
Roles: Wallbreaker, Set-Up Sweeper, Choice Band User
Type:
normal.gif
fighting.gif

Abilities: Comatose / Early Bird (HA)
Base Stats: 80 / 110 / 80 / 80 / 80 / 80 (510 BST)
Movepool Additions: Bulk Up, Rest, Protect
Movepool Removals: None
Custom Elements: None
Uses: Regigigas is a scary wallbreaker with 110 Attack and almost unresisted STAB coverage which is countered only by Ghost types. It can avoid status (such as Mew's Will-O-Wisp) by either using Comatose or utilizing the combo of Early Bird+Rest. This way it can set up with Bulk Up while keeping itself healthy with Drain Punch. It can beat both Audino and Mew with a 120 BP supereffective Heavy Slam, so the only real counter is Cofagrigus.

Pokemon: Vanilluxe
Roles: Wallbreaker, Set-Up Sweeper
Type:

Movepool Removals: None

Uses: Vanilluxe can either wallbreak with its accurate Blizzards, strong coverage attacks and Taunt or it can run some cheesier set-up sets with Autotomize. However it is quite slow for an offensive Pokemon and its typing has a lot of weaknesses, which means it is threatened by faster Pokemon, but Vanilluxe can still hit these with priority Ice Shard.

Pokemon: Cosmog (not compatible with Eviolite)
Roles: Suicide Lead
Type:

Abilities: Magic Bounce
Base Stats: 31 / 29 / 31 / 129 / 31 / 129 (380 BST)

Movepool Removals: None
Custom Elements: Supernova |
psychic.gif
|
special.png
| 250 Power | 100% Accuracy | 8 PP | Hits adjacent Pokemon. The user faints. (Explosion clone)
Uses: Cosmog is the obvious suicide lead pick for hyper offense teams. It sets up Stealth Rock, prevents the foe from setting up any hazards with Magic Bounce and then explodes with Supernova, hopefully KOing one foe.

Offensive:
252 Atk Choice Band Combee Bug Bite (3 hits) vs. 104 HP / 152 Def Swalot: 426-504 (82.3 - 97.4%) -- approx. 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Choice Band Combee Bug Bite (3 hits) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Cofagrigus: 174-207 (61.4 - 73.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band burned Combee Poison Jab (3 hits) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Mew: 264-312 (70.7 - 83.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Combee Low Sweep (3 hits) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Nihilego: 246-291 (60.7 - 71.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Defensive:
252 Atk Life Orb Raichu Ice Shard vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Combee: 148-174 (52.6 - 61.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 SpA Choice Specs Technician Ninjask Water Shuriken (15 BP) (3 hits) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Combee: 192-228 (68.3 - 81.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

If rocks are off the field this thing just wins. This is not balanced in the slightest, especially in a meta with plentiful hazard control. Additionally it has the bulk to live the common priority attacks in the meta and can pack a scarf in order to decimate offense (especially with such a good scarf tier). If this isn't fixed (mainly the ability) I will disqualify from voting.

Cofagrigus can't really counter this as it has nothing to hit Regi with and RestRegi just chips it to death (EQ even bypasses Mummy). Seems very overbearing and appears to have no weaknesses, especially with base 90 speed and 110/80/80 bulk to go with 140 attack.

Ice+Fighting+Freeze Dry alone can hit the entire defensive meta hard, and I think this calc alone speaks to just how stupidly powerful this can be:

252+ SpA Choice Specs Vanilluxe Blizzard vs. 248 HP / 252+ SpD Nihilego: 169-199 (41.7 - 49.1%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock, hail damage, and Leftovers recovery

Basically, it's just NU Vanilluxe with the added benefit of the only bulky Fire-type in the meta being Ice neutral and having really strong fighting coverage. 79 is also a pretty fine speed tier for a wallbreaker, 252 neutral outspeeds all walls/would force Nihilego to run a bunch of speed. Can't see this being a healthy presence for the meta. Also the other two custom moves probably won't ever see use and just kind of add more coding burden.

Sorry if I sound harsh here, it's not my intent.

Offensive:
252 Atk Choice Band Combee Bug Bite (3 hits) vs. 104 HP / 152 Def Swalot: 426-504 (82.3 - 97.4%) -- approx. 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

OK I fixed Combee and Regigigas and lowered Vanilluxe's Speed so it can be revenge killed by Tapu Bulu, Metagross etc.

drilbur.gif

Pokemon: Drilbur (Eviolite Compatible)
Roles: Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Sand Sweeper
Types:
rock.gif
bug.gif

Abilities: Sand Rush / Infiltrator / Dry Skin
Stats: 60 / 80 / 70 / 76 / 84 / 70 (BST: 440)
New Moves: Nose Glow*, Lunge, Bug Buzz, Refresh, Power Gem
Custom Elements: *Nose Glow — Tail Glow clone but with a cuter name
Justification: The king of unpredictability. You don't know if it's going to be bulky, fast, special or physical. Bug is a pretty strong type given the amount of dark-type pokemons in the metagame. Rock is there to take advantage of the sandstorm at its fullest — eviolite + rock's boost under sand = a 2.25 boost in special defense. It can also take on huge defensive threats like Mega-Audino and Mew with Sludge Bomb or Unaware Nihilego with ground coverage.

musharna.gif

Pokemon: Musharna
Roles: Wallbreaker, Trick Room Abuser, Late Game Sweeper, Scarf, Z-Purify (?), Special Wall (???)
Type:
poison.gif
dragon.gif

Ability: Comatose
Stats: 120 / 25 / 10 / 105 / 130 / 70 (BST: 460)
New Moves: Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Purify, Lava Plume
Removed Moves: Rest
Justification: Dragon/Poison/Fire has already proven to be a really powerful offensive coverage on pokemons like Naganadel or Dragalge, so that's what I started with. This Musharna is a pokemon that can finish a team once the right menaces have been eliminate: It can litteraly absorbs any special or status moves it encounters (252+ SpA Mew Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Musharna: 194-230 (43.6 - 51.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Black Sludge recovery), but on the flipside it's obliterated by any physical move.

minior.gif

Pokemon: Minior
Roles: Set-Up Sweeper, Wallbreaker, Gravity Abuser
Type:
ground.gif
flying.gif

Abilities: Shields Down
Stats (Meteor Form): 60 / 60 / 130 / 60 / 130 / 60 (BST: 500)
Stats (Core Form): 60 / 100 / 60 / 100 / 60 / 120 (BST: 500)
Movepool Additions: Wish, Healing Wish, Hurricane, Earth Power
Movepool Removals:
Justification: Shell smash is always a move that defines the pokemon that uses it since it's one of the strongest set-up moves in the game. I thought it would be interesting to bring such a powerful move in clean slate to see how would the metagame react. Minior is a perfect candidate for using shell smash because of his ability shields down that let him take some hits before going down. This way, it can ensure to have at least one turn of set-up without the need of a focus sash, for instance. Flying/Ground is a combo of stabs that work really good against the metagame (except against Levitate Nihi), either with the powerful combo of Acrobatics/Earthquake or the weirder Hurricane/Earth Power (which works better under Gravity). Still, minior would be really easy to revenge kill (notably by the new priority user), and it is a free switch-in for Nihilego, who can tank hits using either of its abilities.

Additionally, the pet mod (up to the mega slate, possibly this slate a bit later) will be fully coded and playable tomorrow, so I'm planning on holding a small playtest tournament in this thread in order to gauge balance, get sample teams, and find bugs. Post a bolded IN below your votes if you want to sign up, not sure if it what type of tournament it will be yet. Good luck everyone!

Winners:
Tuther's Cacturne wins in the first slot
cacturne.gif

Physicall Attacker
Cacturne @ Grassium-Z / Life Orb
Ability: Desert Coat
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Cactus Punch
- Close Combat
- Poison Jab
- Swords Dance / Spikes

Sand Wallbreaker
Cacturne @ Normalium-Z / Lum Berry
Ability: Sand Rush

Adamant Nature

- Swords Dance

Cacturne @ Fightinium-Z
Ability: Desert Coat
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Vacuum Wave
- Giga Drain
- Focus Blast
- Nasty Plot / Spikes

Brodaha's Trevenant wins in category 2
trevenant.gif

Origin0's Gardevoir (finally) wins in the third slot
gardevoir.gif

Name of the Pokemon: Gardevoir
Role(s): Set-Up Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker, Choice Specs user
Type:
fairy.gif
ground.gif

Abilities: Synchronize / Pixilate (HA)
Stat Distribution: 70 / 70 / 80 / 115 / 90 / 80 | BST: 505
Movepool Additions: Earth Power
Movepool Removals: N/A
Custom Elements: N/A
Justification: Special wallbreaker Gardevoir has powerful STAB moves in Pixilate Hyper Voice and Earth Power, which it can use with a Choice Specs or with Calm Mind boosts. Ground typing may not be the best defensively because of the many Water and Grass Pokemon in this meta, but it wreaks havoc against the bulky Steel and Poison types.

Scoopapa's Ditto wins with a record 21 votes
ditto.gif

Pokemon: Ditto ( Quick Powder and Metal Powder compatible )
Roles: hazard setter, revenge killer, defensive pivot
Type:
Normal.png

Abilities:
Sticky Hold / Sturdy | Protean ( HA )
Stat Distribution: 115 / 35 / 50 / 90 / 60 / 50 | BST: 400
Added Moves: Hyper Voice, Flash Cannon, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Conversion, Hyper Beam
Justification: Designed to be a pokemon that viably uses the move Transform. Quick Powder doubles Ditto's Speed stat while Metal Powder doubles it's Defense. This allows it to function as a Spikes setter that either outspeeds the unboosted metagame ( but remember it can't use Focus Sash that way ) or has very strong physical bulk. It's offense is deceptively powerful thanks to Protean and the fact that it can run Modest quite easily. A fast Transform backed by a high HP stat allows it to steal support moves like Sticky Web, scout enemy movesets, and gain momentum in some situations. Sturdy is a bit gimmicky but it allows you to use Z-Transform, which completely refills your health and could turn around an enemy's sweep.
Offensive Spikes ( Ditto ) @ Quick Powder
252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe, Modest
Ability: Protean
- Spikes
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- Transform

Defensive Spikes ( Ditto ) @ Metal Powder
252 HP / 176 SpA / 80 Def, Modest
Ability: Protean
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Flash Cannon
- Shadow Ball
- Transform / Toxic Spikes

Sturdy Z-Transform ( Ditto ) @ Normalium Z
252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD, Modest
Ability: Sturdy
- Transform
- Spikes / Toxic Spikes
- Shadow Ball
- Hyper Voice / Hyper Beam

Tournament has been postponed due to technical issues (Gravity).

Slate 9: Loose Ends
036.png

1 Sweeper, 1 Hazard Control, 1 Hazard Setter, 1 Free Slot

We have almost all the roles covered at this point, I'm thinking slate 10 will be an archetype slate an then the mod will be "done" as far as active subbing goes. Don't worry though, we'll still have plenty of balancing to do and the chance of additional submissions after things have settled. Happy subbing!
