Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Name of the Pokemon: Milotic Role(s): Hazard Control, Mixed Wall, Bulky Attacker Type:
Abilities: Trace / Damp | Hydration Stat Distribution: 85 / 95 / 90 / 85 / 90 / 95 | 540 BST Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Dazzling Gleam, Defog, Movepool Removals: Hydro Pump, Coil Justification: An anti-meta Defog user that can counter or 1v1 most of the current hazard setters thanks to it's typing, well-rounded stats, and ability. A defensive spread lets it tank Iron Head from Leftovers Metagross, Liquidation 2HKOes Nihilego, Trace turns Flygon and Kricketune's abilities against them, and Rhydon and Cloyster are weak to its typing. It doesn't completely walk all over these pokemon, but if played right it should be able to Defog against them. It's stats are well rounded, but not enough to be a top tier attacker or wall without Defog.
Name of the Pokemon: Aggron Role(s): Physical Wall, SR Setter Type: Steel - Ground Ability: Filter Stat Distribution: 70 - 80 - 110 - 60 - 80 - 30 BST: 460 Movepool Additions: Shore Up, Draco Meteor Movepool Removals: Justification: The bulky steel this metagame needs, Steelix can use it's strong typing to resist attacks and can set up SR while fazing with Roar. However it doesn't appreciate special attacks and it's lack of speed hinders it's capabilities.
Name of the Pokemon: Aggron Mega Role(s): Mixed Wall breaker Type: Steel - Dragon Ability: Sheer Force Stat Distribution: 70 - 110 - 110 - 110 - 90 - 40 BST: 560
Justification: Aggron is a strong threat with the Pokemon finally being able to use an amazing movepool including Thunderbolt, Fire Blast and Earthquake. These moves are further boosted by Sheet Force, adding more power to Aggrons attacks. However it's lack of speed is still a hindrance, and 110 - 110 power isn't too strong even with Sheer Force.
Name of the Pokemon: Scizor Role(s): Offensive Pivot, Swords Dance Sweeper Type: Bug - Steel Ability: Intimidate Stat Distribution: 70 - 100 - 85 - 60 - 80 - 110 BST: 505 Movepool Additions: Spikes, Close Combat Movepool Removals:
Justification: Scizor is a great offensive pivot thanks to Intimidate, and a decent typing plus bulk meaning it doesn't have too much trouble switching into attacks. It also forms a great core with Flygon. However Scizor can't beat some walls such as Cofagrigus and struggles against them in general.
Name of the Pokemon: Scizor Mega Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker Type: Bug - Fighting Ability: Defiant Stat Distribution: 70 - 120 - 95 - 90 - 110 - 120 BST: 605 Justification: Scizor trades a better typing for all round stronger stats and a more effective offensive type in Scrappy boosted Fighting type moves. However the lack of an item really hurts it and speed tying with Ninjask can cause it to be weakened or lack the power to break down opponents.
Name of the Pokemon: Lucario Role(s): Priority, Offensive Pivot, Physical Wallbreaker Type: Fighting - Steel Ability: Protean Stat Distribution: 80 / 110 / 80 / 60 / 70 / 95 BST: 510 Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Hyper Voice Movepool Removals: Swords Dance
Justification: Lucario is a great user of Protean thanks to it's wide movepool which includes moves such as Earthquake, Stone Edge and Close Combat. Access to STAB Extreme Speed gives it powerful priority, and it can provide momentum with U-Turn. The ability to use an item helps it too, however less than stellar bulk and the ability to be outpaced by common Pokemon such as Flygon and Raichu limit it.
Name of the Pokemon: Lucario Mega Role(s): Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot Type: Fighting / Flying Ability: Aerilate Stat Distribution: 80 / 90 / 95 / 120 / 100 / 125 BST: 610 Justification: Lucario Mega is a bulky Wallbreaker that can sweep with Nasty Plot, and utilizes Aerilate to put more power on it's attacks. However Unaware Nihelgo shuts it down while Raichu speed ties and can do serious damage.
Btw I'd like to add Moonblast to Mews movepool if that's all right, I meant to do it before but I forgot. Also, Defog should probably be removed so that it doesn't outclass Milotic.
Also I suggest to make only one vote list for this slate to make it more accurate.
To clarify, we usually do this: Mega 1: Leonard, Jucherz, Origin0 Mega 2: Leonard, Jucherz, Origin0 Mega 3: Leonard, Jucherz, Origin0
But i believe since we only vote for Megas and because the numbering is arbitrary, that we can go for: Mega: Leonard Sharpedo, Jucherz Glalie, Leonard Banette, Origin0 Gallade, Leonard Abomasnow, Jucherz Heracross, Origin0 Altaria, Jucherz Rayquaza, Origin0 Gardevoir
This might give troubles for self-votes, so i suggest to limit the points to 10 for everybody (since everybody submitt 3 Megas).
10 is a lot. I think that something 5 or 6 would be more reasonable, but with a prefered voting (I mean, kinda like what we do normally) and some rules to prevent too much self-votes.
My votes: #1: leonard, Origin0, Scoopapa #2: Anaconja, Jucherz, leonard #3: Origin0, Stitch, Tuther
This slate went pretty well in my opinion, the Discord has really sped up feedback for everyone on it and I strongly recommend those who haven't to join!
Abilities: Unnerve / Water Veil | Moxie (HA) Stat Distribution: 60 / 100 / 70 / 85 / 40 / 95 (450 BST) Added Moves: Shift Gear, Smart Strike, Fire Fang, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Thunder Removed Moves: Destiny Bond, Poison Jab, Psychic Fangs, Zen Headbutt, Blizzard, Ice Beam Justification: Ascendant speed tier and solid power after a Shift Gear allows Sharpedo to either snowball with moxie (Steel-Z is quite solid in this meta) or yeet on Mew with Water Veil. However it crumples to Sash Raichu and is easily revenge killed by Ninjask. And that's not mentioning the difficulty in setting up in the first place with that garbage bulk.
Pokemon: Sharpedo-Mega Roles: Special Wallbreaker Type:
Ability: No Guard Stat Distribution: 60 / 110 / 70 / 145 / 60 / 105 (550 BST, +10 Atk, +60 SpA, +20 SpD, +10 Spe) Justification: Completely different from normal Sharpedo, Mega Sharpedo trades the ability to clean up opposing teams for devastatingly powerful, perfectly accurate Hydro Pumps, Fire Blasts, and Thunders. However, this shark-torpedo-head thing suffers from being hard-walled by Lanturn and struggling against targets such as Meganium and Flygon, as its Ice-type coverage is quite weak. Very powerful, but should be manageable for teams to handle.
Name of the Pokemon: Swampert Role(s): Stallbreaker, Set-up Sweeper Type:
Abilities: Torrent / Poison Heal Stat Distribution: 100/100/85/70/85/60 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Bulk Up, Liquidation Movepool Removals: Ice Punch, Ice Beam, Avalanche Justification: Swampert is a powerful stallbreaker thanks to its ability in Poison Heal combined with Bulk Up, allowing it to shred through unprepared teams. However, it has a lack of good coverage, meaning that it is checked easily by Meganium and Tapu Bulu, and its power is underwhelming without any boosts.
Swampert @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Bulk Up
- Liquidation / Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Protect
Name of the Pokemon: Swampert-Mega Role(s): Mixed Wall, Sand Stream Setter Type:
Abilities: Sand Stream Stat Distribution: 100/120/110/90/110/70 (+20 Atk, +25 Def, +20 SpA, +25 SpD, +10 Spe) Justification: Mega Swampert is a solid wall, with its ability in Sand Stream chipping opponents and (possibly in the future) acting as a solid setter for Sand Rush and Sand Force sweepers. While it has very good bulk, it lacks reliable recovery, and is almost completely countered by Tapu Bulu and Meganium.
Swampert @ Swampertite
Ability: Poison Heal
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Liquidation / Scald

Name of the Pokemon: Audino Role(s): Cleric, Status Absorber, Mixed Wall Type:
Abilities: Aroma Veil / Own Tempo | HA: Natural Cure Stat Distribution:
HP 125
ATK 60
DEF 80
SPA 95
SPD 80
SPE 50
BST 490
Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Misty Terrain, Soft-Boiled Movepool Removals: none Custom Elements: none Justification: Kind of a cleric with good bulkiness, 2 immunities, a lot of useful moves and some abilities to give it other roles, as a Taunt, Confusion or Status absorber. It could be useful for stall teams, but also to block Dragons and Ghosts.
Name of the Pokemon: Mega Audino Role(s): Special Tank, Misty Terrain Setter, TR Sweeper, CM Sweeper Type:
Abilities: Misty Surge Stat Distribution:

ATK 60
DEF 110
SPA 135
SPD 110
SPE 50
BST 590
(+0 Atk, +30 Def, +40 SpA, +30 SpD, +0 Spe)

There are a lot of Burn spreaders in this Meta, and that really hurts base Sharpedo and forces it to use Water Veil over Moxie.
Calcs take so long so this is all I'm gonna do for now. Mega Sharpedo isn't completely walled by Lanturn because I think Abyssal Light will be common to deal with Knock Off spam.
Mega Audino is an absolute unit, best bulk in the meta, can't be statused, good defensive typing and decent offensive typing, also 135 SpA is the second highest in the meta, second only to Mega Sharpedo. Low speed is it's only major downfall. It also has reliable recovery and a strong STAB moonblast. It might be worth a nerf.

Your mew bulk is wrong (mew runs max/max as prankster alleviates the need to run any speed) so for Sharpedo to nab the OHKO it needs to burn a Z, which can be played around. Should still be a potent but manageable sweeper if it manages to set up.
Looking over the spreadsheet, the meta is looking a tad bit on the fat side right now, so here's some wallbreakers. Note that physical wallbreakers should account for Mew's priority Will-O-Wisp and either be able to play around that or trade losing to Mew better breaking prowess against more targets. The Free Slot is literally whatever your heart desires for this meta. Within reason of course. No Megas in there.
Additionally, no Water (we have 6 / 8 with megas) and no Darks still. Very sad but no wet and/or edgy boys for the time being
Happy subbing, we're almost to playtest territory!
Abilities: Beast Boost | Dazzling (HA) Stat Distribution: 83 / 113 / 59 / 127 / 107 / 71 (560 BST) Added Moves: Swords Dance, U-Turn Removed Moves: Hypnosis Justification: Grass and Electric is virtually unresisted in this meta outside of Dragon-types (of which only Flygon can comfortably switch into) so a mixed Xurkitree that can attack from both sides of the spectrum while also having the option to run a potent Scarf set that bypasses the unfortunate Ice Shard weakness due to Dazzling. However, poor speed for sweeping with no way to boost it should hold Xurkitree back.
Abilities: Poison Point / Battle Armor | Compound Eyes (HA) Stat Distribution: 82 / 103 / 115 / 50 / 68 / 112 (530 BST) Justification: Poison, Bug, and Ground are a pretty solid offensive combination for a wallbreaker (outside of mixed Nihilego) and a high speed tier and very solid attack after a Swords Dance makes this a solid sweeper and breaker. However, it is outsped by most scarfers, Raichu, and Ninjask and defensively its checked by Mega Swampert, Toucannon, and (sort of) Mew by virtue of Will-O-Wisp. Also look another Bug-type!
Abilities: Prism Armor | Abyssal Light (HA) Stat Distribution: 89 / 101 / 103 / 127 / 67 / 73 (560 BST) New Moves: Cross Chop, Aura Sphere, Sacred Sword, Drain Punch Removed Moves: Rock Polish Justification: Swiss Army Knife wallbreaker, can also play supportive roles and has access to the always-amazing Photon Geyser. However physical sets hate Mew and special sets are handled by Swalot.
Pokemon: Vikavolt (resub yeah I know but I love this thing) Roles: Choice Scarf, Choice Specs, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control Type:
Abilities: Illuminate / Strong Jaw | Intimidate (HA) Stats: 77 / 61 / 94 / 145 / 65 / 83 (525 BST) Movepool Additions: Oblivion Wing, Flame Burst, Tailwind, Defog Movepool Removals: All Bug-type moves, Flash Cannon, Agility, Energy Ball Justification: 145 SpA is... Very scary, but stay with me. Not enough power, even with specs, to break popular special switch-ins Flygon and Nihilego and has relatively weak flying STAB and little in the terms of coverage outside of HP Ice and Flame Burst (and GOAT coverage Gravity assisted Mud Shot). However outside of those points Vikavolt fills a Lando-T like role as a Choice Scarf user, with a good defensive type, nice physical bulk, high power, pivoting, and emergency defog, all coupled with an effective Scarf speed tier. Oblivion Wing is also a spammable STAB that offsets Stealth Rock chip. Cool! Additionally it also functions as a good defensive pivot that can go toe-to-toe with attackers such as Sharpedo and Tapu Bulu.

Name of the Pokemon: Haxorus Role(s): Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Wallbreaker Type:
Name of the Pokemon: Gallade Role(s): Physical Wallbreaker, Set-Up Sweeper Type:
Abilities: Scrappy / Guts (HA) Stat Distribution: 70 / 115 / 90 / 70 / 80 / 80 | BST: 505 Movepool Additions: Sacred Sword, Meteor Mash Movepool Removals: Vacuum Wave, Shadow Sneak, Swords Dance Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Guts allows Gallade to absorb status after its Flame Orb activates. It has access to strong moves like Sacred Sword, Meteor Mash, and Stone Edge, and not having to run a Choice Band gives it a slot for Bulk Up, allowing it to increase its Attack even further. Only the bulkiest of physical walls can wall Gallade as long as it has not set up too many Bulk Ups. However, relatively low bulk and speed and reliance on Flame Orb means it can be outsped and beaten by faster offensive Pokemon and revenge killers.
Name of the Pokemon: Gardevoir Role(s): Set-Up Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker, Choice Specs user Type:
Abilities: Synchronize / Pixilate (HA) Stat Distribution: 70 / 70 / 80 / 115 / 90 / 80 | BST: 505 Movepool Additions: Earth Power Movepool Removals: N/A Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Special wallbreaker Gardevoir has powerful STAB moves in Pixilate Hyper Voice and Earth Power, which it can use with a Choice Specs or with Calm Mind boosts. Ground typing may not be the best defensively because of the many Water and Grass Pokemon in this meta, but it wreaks havoc against the bulky Steel and Poison types.
Name of the Pokemon: Braviary Role(s): Mixed Wallbreaker, Hazard Control, Choice Band user, Choice Specs user Type:
Abilities: Keen Eye / Defiant (HA) Stat Distribution: 70 / 110 / 65 / 110 / 65 / 90 | BST: 510 Movepool Additions: Focus Blast, Hurricane, Aura Sphere, Drill Peck, Brick Break Movepool Removals: Bulk Up, Work Up, Hone Claws, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Tailwind Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Braviary has powerful STABs with amazing Fighting/Flying offensive coverage that allow it to potentially go physical, special, or mixed. Defiant allows it to deter opposing Defoggers and Intimidate/Mythical Presence users, but it has no way to increase its stats outside of this. Its strongest STAB moves all have drawbacks, from Brave Bird's recoil to Superpower's stat drops to Focus Blast's/Hurricane's accuracy (though a special set might be able to work alongside Celesteela). While it has okay speed, it is also very frail, leaving it vulnerable to fast attackers and revenge killers, and has difficulty switching in.

Name of the Pokemon: Masquerain Role(s): Hazard Setter, Hazard Control, Utility, Cleric Type:
Abilities: Unnerve / Magic Guard (HA) Stat Distribution: 85 / 50 / 85 / 80 / 85 / 125 | BST: 510 Movepool Additions: Rapid Spin, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp, Hex, Destiny Bond, Thunder Wave, Wish, Healing Wish, Aromatherapy Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Hydro Pump, Aqua Jet, Liquidation, Scald Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Masquerain is a utility and support Pokemon with lots of moves to use, and its moveset can be tailored to its team's needs. It can set Sticky Web, Spikes, or Toxic Spikes, and it can Rapid Spin/Defog hazards away while spinblocking with its Ghost-typing. Magic Guard allows it to avoid taking damage from those hazards as well as absorbing status. It can spread burns and paralysis, or it can act as a cleric with Wish, Aromatherapy, and Healing Wish. Yes, massive 4MSS, but that also leaves it unpredictable. However, it doesn't hit very hard, and while fast, its bulk isn't special either.
