Mega Swampert Buff
Ability Change: Sand StreamDrizzle
Stat Changes (-10 SpA from Swampert Base) Reasoning: Keeps the spirit of an offensive weather-inducer but now gives it a much more beneficial weather to abuse.
Swampert Nerf
Stat Changes:
100/100/85/70/75/60 Reasoning: Max HP Max Attack Swampert is now 2HKO'd by Mega Sharpedo's Hydro Pump
Ninjask Nerf:
Stat changes: -10 SpA, -10 Spe New Stat Spread: 70 / 60 / 70 / 100 / 70 / 110 Move Rework: Water Shuriken - always hits 3 times Reasoning: Ninjask was too powerful. Even sets like Mystic Water could be devastating. The nerf to speed forces it to run Timid if it wants to outspeed Flygon. Combined with the nerf to SpA it effectively takes its SpA from 350 down to 299. The changes to Water Shuriken are warranted because getting a 110 BP priority move based on RNG was pretty unfair and a big part of why Ninjask was broken. It should still be able to do its job, as it's STAB combo is very hard to wall and it's strong priority moves will be hard for offense to deal with.
Pokemon: Trapinch (now compatible with Eviolite)
Stat Changes: 65 / 100 / 65 / 45 / 65 / 50 (BST: 390)
Movepool Additions: Fire Fang, Knock Off
Reasoning: With 50 Speed it can outspeed almost every single uninvested wall which fixes one if its biggest flaws. It can sacrifice the item slot to become more bulky and not get OHKOed by anything decently powerful. With Fire Fang it can hit Forretress which would be an annoyance to face otherwise. Then I added Knock Off for overall utility and a way to remove Eviolites of some trapped walls.
Name of the Pokemon: Pangoro Role(s): Wallbreaker, Pursuit Trapper, Revenge Killer Type:
Abilities: Iron Fist / Intimidate / Sap Sipper Stat Distribution: 81/110/93/62/80/84 (510 BST) New Movepool Additions: Mach Punch, Sucker Punch, U-Turn Justification: Pangoro looks solid on paper... until you realize there is only one trappable Psychic in Poipole and five Fairies in the metagame. U-Turn allows Pangoro to be more versatile, and the addition of Mach Punch and Sucker Punch gives it great priority moves, the former especially with all of the Dark types in the tier. While Pangoro still struggles with physical walls such as Milotic (especially if Pangoro has Intimidate), Tapu Bulu, and Audino-Mega, it cements itself better by being a more menacing wallbreaker and revenge killer.
Pokemon: Poipole
Stat Changes: 87 / 123 / 67 / 123 / 67 / 78 (BST: 545)
Movepool Additions: Earth Power, Earthquake, Calm Mind
Reasoning: Guys, this thing is seriously bad right now and needs a buff. It is like even worse than Pangoro (which is now getting a buff). With 78 Speed it isn't as awfully slow and it can actually outspeed most of the stuff it needs to, while still being kept in check by faster Pokemon such as Cloyster, Pangoro or Gardevoir. I added stronger Ground coverage so Poipole doesn't get walled by every damn Steel type and then I added Calm Mind so it will have an easier time wallbreaking.
Name of the Pokemon: Flaaffy Role(s): Mixed Wall, Cleric, Hazard Control Type:
(flying sheep lul) Abilities: Natural Cure / Static / Fluffy Stat Distribution: 100/55/40/90/70/60 (415 BST) New Movepool Additions: Air Slash, Defog, Tailwind New Movepool Removals: Dazzling Gleam, Moonlight Justification: Flaaffy's typing makes it compete heavily (and lose) with Audino-Mega as a cleric. Making Flaafy a Flying type instead gives it a one up on the Ground-types in the tier like Swampert and Trapinch. Fluffy makes it a great physical wall, though also giving it a weakness to Sharpedo-Mega. It also gains a weakness to Stealth Rock and becomes neutral to Knock Off, limiting its ability to switch in.
Fun times! I'll update the spreadsheet and hopefully these changes can be live soon. Outside of that, there's not much to do at the moment outside of updating the VR soon.
2 New Archetypes: 1 Enabler, 1 Abuser Each
And 1 Free Slot
Howdy everybody, it's time for the last full slate of Clean Slate! We'll be ending this with 2 new offensive archetypes in order to diversify the meta a bit (we have a bit too much fat balance at the moment). Additionally, I'm also throwing in a free slot because why not. Happy submitting!
Name of the Pokemon: Lapras Role(s): Wallbreaker, Hail Inducer, Tank Type:
Abilities: Thick Fat, Hydratation | Snow Warning Stat Distribution: 130/45/85/115/100/75 | 550 Movepool Additions: Recover Movepool Removals: Hydro Pump, Perish Song Custom Elements: none Justification:
+ : two powerfull abilities, strong firepower, recovery, huge bulk
- : terrible typing, outsped by most offensive Pokémon, weakness to hazard
130/85 physical bulk lets no bulk Lapras OHKOed by Pangoro Superpower and OHKOed 62.5 % of the time OHKOed by Rhydon Stone Edge.
130/100 special bulk allows bulk invested Lapras to live a LO Focus Blast from Raichu after SR.
115 SpA allows Lapras to alaways 2HKO Nihilego after SR with Choice Specs Surf and Hail damages. It also lets AV Foretress avoid the OHKO from Hidden Power [Fire].
75 Spe allows it to outspeed Nihilego and Milotic with 252 EVs speed. It also allows it to outspeed Swampert and Meganium without investment.
Name of the Pokemon: Sandslash-Alola Role(s): Hail Sweeper, Offensive Support, Hazard Control/Setter, Aurora Veil Setter, Wallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Snow Cloak, Slush Rush | Technician Stat Distribution: 75/100/110/25/65/75 | 450 Movepool Additions: Bullet Punch, Swords Dance is unavailable with Technician Movepool Removals: none Custom Elements: Icicle Spear now always hit 3 times just like Water Shuriken. Justification:
+ : really fast at +2, IceGround coverage, strong priority, a spinner that can beat Druddigon
- : two quad weakness to common offensive type, struggle against water-type
75/110 physical bulk allows Rhydon to always OHKO Snowslash with Earthquake.
75/65 special bulk lets Snowslash take a Water Shuriken from Choice Specs Ninjask.
100 Atk allows Snowslash to OHKO Raichu with Choice Band Technician Bullet Punch and lets Cofagrigus avoid the 2HKO from Choice Band Icicle Spear.
75 Spe allows Scarf Unown to revenge kill a +2 Sandslash.
=================================================================================================
2nd Archetype: Grassy terrain (there already is an Enabler so i'm subbing 2 abusers.
Name of the Pokemon: Gogoat Role(s): Grassy Terrain Sweeper/Wallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Grass Pelt, Sap Sipper | Motocross Stat Distribution: 120/115/50/80/65/70 | 500 Movepool Additions: Swords Dance, High Horse Power, Earth Power Movepool Removals: Bounce, Leaf Blade, Bulk Up Custom Elements: Motocross : Surge Surfer clone for Grassy Terrain. Justification:
+ : very good partner for Tapu Bulu, rather bulky, can set up or just wallbreak
- : quad weakness to Ice, bad offensive typing, lack of coverage to touch Grass-type, depends from Grassy Terrain
120/50 physical bulk lets Gogoat OHKOed by none-LO Raichu Ice Shard.
120/65 special bulk lets Gogoat always 2HKOed by uninvested Flaafy Air Slash.
115 Atk allows Gogoat to OHKO Celesteela with High Horse Power at +2, and Toucannon with Z-Rock Slide at +2.
70 Spe allows Gogoat to outspeed most Scarfer at +2.

Grassy Terrain Wallbreaker
Gogoat @ Choice Band / Grassium-Z

Name of the Pokemon: Celebi Role(s): Grassy Terrain Wallbreaker, Choice Attacker, Offensive Pivot Type:
Abilities: Sap Veins Stat Distribution: 85/70/85/110/85/75 | 510 Movepool Additions: Moonblast, Play Rough Movepool Removals: Earth Power, Psychic, Psyshock, Zen Headbutt, Nasty Plot, Calm Mind Custom Elements: Sap Veins : Steel Worker-clone for Grass-moves. Justification:
+ : absurdly strong under Grassy Terrain, still usefull out of Grassy Terrain,
- : lack coverage outside of Hidden Power, a bit slow, no set-up option
85/85/85 bulk à la Mew.
110 SpA allows Celebi to OHKO Nihilego under Grassy Terrain with Choice Specs boosted Leaf Storm.
75 Spe puts Celebi just under a lot of threatening Wallbreaker like Poipole and Raticate-Alola.
Name of the Pokemon: Musharna Role(s): Defensive Sweeper, Defensive Pivot, Type:
Abilities: White Smoke, Pink Smoke | Gooey Stat Distribution: 100/55/80/105/100/5 | 445 Movepool Additions: Titania Tears, Moonblast, Fairy Wind, Misty Terrain, Sludge Bomb, Clear Smog, Acid Spray, Acid Armor, Acid, Gastro Acid, Sludge, Smog, Venoshock, U-Turn. Movepool Removals: Psyshock, Psywave, Psychic Terrain, Zen Headbutt, Synchronoise, Future Sight, Baton Pass Custom Elements: Titania Tears: Fairy-type Stored Power.
Pink Smoke: immune to secondary effect and critical hits (shield dust+Shell armor clone). Justification: When I look at what Clean Slate lacks , I see that we don't have any defensive sweeper like Reuniclus in OU or Snorlax in RU or Suicune in UU.
+: very bulky, strong defensive typing, find a lot of set-up opportunity, can't be poisonned
-: need several boosts to become threatening, can be overpowered, forced out by strong wallbreaker like Unown and Poipole, weak to phazer, taunt and unaware nihilego.
100/80 physical bulk lets Choice Band Metagross OHKO Musharna most of the times after SR, and Choice Band Poipole OHKO every time without SR.
100/100 special bulk lets Poipole OHKO Musharna every time after SR with unboosted Psychic and lets Unown OHKO Musharna even without SR and without boosting item.
105 SpA lets Musharna have some offensive presence before setting up.
5 Speed lets Musharna outsped by the whole metagame.
Calm Mind
Musharna @ Fairium-Z
Ability: Pink Smoke
Evs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Titania Tears / Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
- Barrier
Name of the Pokemon: Drampa (resub) Role(s): Special Wall, Status Spreader, Weather Check, Pseudohazer Type:
Abilities: Flame Body / Natural Cure / Cloud Nine Stat Distribution: 78/50/85/101/135/51 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Will-o-Wisp, Overheat Movepool Removals: Tailwind, Thunderbolt, Hurricane, Surf, Ice Beam, Focus Blast, Calm Mind Justification: Drampa is a solid Glare user, with a formidable typing and special defenses, fairly viable abilities, and good support moves like Defog and Whirlwind. However, it is fairly passive, having no way to boost itself, and is weak to Stealth Rock.
Name of the Pokemon: Banette (resub) Role(s): Paralysis Abuser, Special Attacker, Stallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Frisk / Lightning Rod / Power Surge Stat Distribution: 85/85/75/85/95/75 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Statishock, Electro Ball Movepool Removals: Dazzling Gleam Custom Elements: Power Surge: This Pokemon's attacks are critical hits if the target is paralyzed. (Merciless clone) Statishock: 65 BP, Electric, Special, 100%, 16 PP, Power doubles if the target is paralyzed. (Venoshock clone) Justification: Banette is a force to be reckoned with once many opponents have been paralyzed, having 100% crits on 130 BP Statishock and Hex. It can also boost with Calm Mind and pressure Stall with Taunt. However, if the opponent is not paralyzed, Banette's power is quite underwhelming. Additionally, it can be easily Pursuit trapped.
Banette @ Life Orb
Ability: Power Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hex
- Statishock
- Calm Mind
- Taunt / Substitute / Hidden Power Fighting / Thunder Wave
Name of the Pokemon: Beartic Role: Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Rain Sweeper Type:
Abilities: Fluffy/Moxie/Swift Swim Stat Distribution: 95/130/80/50/80/70 (505 BST) Movepool Additions: Liquidation, Earthquake Justification: Beartic is a threat to behold in rain, hitting 478 Speed combined with a high Attack stat that can only get higher with Swords Dance. Ice and Fighting also synergize well with each other, though Beartic struggles with fat Water-types in the tier.
Beartic @ Fightinium Z / Icium Z / Choice Band
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Icicle Crash
- Superpower
- Liquidation
- Swords Dance / Earthquake
Name of the Pokemon: Aerodactyl Role: Special Attacker, Suicide Lead, Sand Setter, Special Tank, Stealth Rock, Hazard Control Type:
Abilities: Rock Head/Sand Stream Stat Distribution: 70/60/45/114/95/121 (515 BST) Movepool Additions: Hurricane, Power Gem, U-Turn, Crystal Blast Movepool Removals: Fire Blast Custom Elements: Crystal Blast: Rock-type Solar Beam clone, no charge in sand Justification: Aerodactyl is a lead and sand setter, having good attacking stats, access to support moves such as Whirlwind, Taunt, Stealth Rock, and Defog, and providing sand for Cacturne to sweep. While it also has great special longevity combined with Roost, its physical bulk is terrible, allowing it to be OHKO'd by Pangoro's Knock Off, Metagross's Bullet Punch, and Raichu's Ice Shard (after Stealth Rock).
Aerodactyl @ Smooth Rock / Focus Sash
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe or 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Stealth Rock / Defog
- Taunt / Roost
- Earth Power / U-Turn / Flamethrower
- Crystal Blast
Name of the Pokemon: Abomasnow (resub) Role(s): Special Attacker, Pseudo-Trapper, Choice Specs, Choice Scarf, Offensive Pivot Type:
Abilities: Overgrow / Regenerator Stat Distribution: 90/50/85/120/85/70 (500 BST) Movepool Additions: Earth Power, Stalk Movepool Removals: Leech Seed, Synthesis Custom Elements:Stalk: Special Grass-type Pursuit clone Justification: Abomasnow is a force to be reckoned with, profiting off of the common Water-types in the meta, doing huge damage with Stalk, and recovering any damage done with Regenerator. However, it has a subpar speed tier, and its defensive typing is terrible.
Pokemon: Darmanitan-Zen Roles: Sun Setter, Special Attacker, Wallbreaker, Choice Specs User, Defensive Pivot Type:
Abilities: Drought / Solid Rock / Unaware (HA) Base Stats: 85 / 70 / 150 / 120 / 120 / 55 (600 BST) Movepool Additions: Ancient Power, Head Smash, Sandstorm, Mystical Fire Movepool Removals: None Custom Elements: None Uses: Darmanitan-Zen is a powerful Sun setter that is also really bulky. It is quite slow though, has a bad defensive typing and it doesn't have a strong special Rock attack.
Pokemon: Bellsprout (not compatible with Eviolite) Roles: Sun Abuser, Mixed Attacker, Set-Up Sweeper Type:
Abilities: Volt Absorb / Solar Power | Drought (HA) Stat Distribution: 70 / 65 / 75 / 115 / 115 / 55 | BST: 490 Added Moves: *Solar Cell, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Custom Elements: Solar Cell | 120 BP |
|
| 100% Acc. | 10-16 PP | Charges first turn. Hits second turn. No charge turn in Harsh Sunlight ( Solarbeam clone ) Justification: A Sun setter with reasonable bulk and pivoting ability. It can run Growth in order to heavily threaten slower teams, or go for more of a defensive pivot set to bring in Charizard safely. Solar Cell lets it run Giga Drain without sacrificing a 120 BP STAB move, so it can hit Mega Swampert without having to worry about Drizzle. Volt Switch is a great way to lure in and chip special walls in order to make Charizard's life much easier. Tapu Bulu, Mega Sharpedo, and Meganium are other pokemon in the tier that appreciate Sun as well.
Pokemon: Charizard Roles: Sun Abuser, Wallbreaker, Choice Scarf Type:
Abilities: Levitate | *Solar Strength (HA) Stat Distribution: 78 / 96 / 67 / 111 / 85 / 98 | BST: 535 Added Moves: Draco Meteor, U-turn Removed Moves: Belly Drum Custom Elements: Solar Strength - Increases the power of Dragon-, Fighting-, and Normal-type moves by 30% during Harsh Sunlight Justification: A reasonably fast wallbreaker that's here to burn away some fat in this meta. Modest Specs Draco Meteor in Sun 2HKOes Nihilego after Stealth Rock ( 20% chance otherwise ), and cleanly 2HKOes Lanturn, meaning with proper setup and prediction it can punch holes in almost any fresh team. It also has the option to run Swords Dance or Dragon Dance to surprise special walls. However, ensuring it has Sun, Stealth Rock, and a safe switch-in can be difficult, and it's countered by Flygon.
================================================
Pokemon: Baltoy ( no Eviolite ) Roles: Sand Setter, Offensive Pivot, Stealth Rock, Spinner, Type:
Abilities: Sand Stream | Lightningrod ( HA ) Stat Distribution: 50 / 80 / 65 / 110 / 85 / 110 | BST: 500 Added Moves: Weather Ball, Power Gem, Pain Split, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Volt Switch, Thunder Wave, Giga Drain Removed Moves: Reflect, Calm Mind, Grass Knot, Psychic, Psyshock, Ice Beam Justification: An offensive Sand setter with lots of support and coverage options to choose from. Weather Ball is actually its strongest STAB move, and is a reliable attack of a good, uncommon offensive type. Volt Switch will likely be its go to Electric move alongside that, with the remaining slots filled by support or coverage moves. Being a pivot will help it support its teammates such as Cacturne and Glalie with momentum and switch-in opportunities.
Abilities: Sand Rush / Slush Rush | Clear Body ( HA ) Stat Distribution: 60 / 130 / 135 / 85 / 75 / 65 | BST: 550 Added Moves: *Onyx Horn, Icicle Crash, Bulk Up Custom Elements: Onyx Horn | 80 BP |
|
| 100% Acc. | 15-24 PP | Raises the user's Def by one stage ( Lunge clone ) Justification: A powerful offensive juggernaut with 2x Speed and 1.5x SpD in sand. Defense boosts from Bulk Up and Onyx Horn can let it power though some foes such as AV Forretress and Swampert ( provided it boosts as they switch in ), making it extremely threatening to bulky teams. It is still vulnerable to priority from the likes of Ninjask, Metagross, and Pangoro, and some bulky pokemon like Cloyster and Trevenant can deal with it pretty well. Outside of Sand, it's rather easy to outspeed and KO with a Special attack.
Abilities: *Snap Freeze Stat Distribution: 70 / 80 / 85 / 85 / 115 / 75 | BST: 510 Added Moves: Shadow Ball Removed Moves: Freeze Dry Custom Elements: Snap Freeze - Summons Frozen Terrain
Frozen Terrain - Boosts the power of Ice-type moves by 50%. Cures Burn and prevents it from being applied. (Electric Terrain clone) Justification: A Nasty Plot sweeper with very strong Ice-type attacks thanks to Frozen Terrain. It's other attacks are somewhat weak coming off of 85 SpA, but it can afford to boost up against more passive opponents such as Lanturn in order to break through them. It would pair well with Raichu by breaking down some of its counters and setting up terrain for it to do boosted damage.
is the no dark-type rule still in place? if it is consider Accelgor pure bug type
Pokemon: Accelgor Roles: Hazards Setter, Pivot Type: Bug/Dark Abilities: Poison Needles / Bulletproof / Hyper Cutter Stat Distribution: 55/95/45/60/40/124 BST: 445 Movepool Additions: Gunk Shot, Parting Shot Movepool Removals: Spikes Custom Elements: Poison Needles (Poison Type Gale Wings Clone) Justification: A nice lead for teams looking to abuse Toxic Spikes, due to it gaining priority Toxic Spikes while at full health. Besides having Priority, it also has the second highest base speed in clean slate, only behind Raichu. It can also be a fast pivot with both U-Turn and Parting Shot.
Pokemon: Naganadel Roles: Toxic Spikes Abuser, Choice Scarf Type: Poison/Fairy Abilities: Merciless Stat Distribution: 73/53/53/127/109/101 BST: 516 Movepool Additions: Moonblast Movepool Removals: All Dragon Type Moves Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Naganadel can absue Merciless Venoshock with toxic spikes to great effect. It also has Moonblast and Fire Blast as secondary options.
Pokemon: Pikachu-PhD Roles: Electric Terrain Setter, Offensive Pivot Type: Electric Abilities: Electric Surge Stat Distribution: 75/55/80/130/85/90 BST: 515 Movepool Additions: U-Turn, Surf, Frost Breath Movepool Removals: N/A Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Pikachu-PhD is Clean Slate's first Electric Terrain Setter. With it, Raichu becomes even better. With both U-Turn and Volt Switch, it can be a decent pivot, setting up Electric Surge and then switching out. The added coverage is a bonus as well.
Pokemon: Electrode Roles: Terrain Sweeper, Pivot Type: Normal Abilities: Area Adaptation Stat Distribution: 80/80/80/80/80/120 BST: 520 Movepool Additions: Terrain Ball, Petal Dance, Future Sight, Moonblast, Movepool Removals: All Electric Type moves besides Thunder, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, and Electro Ball Custom Elements:
Area Adaptation- Changes type based on current terrain on the field (Grass in Grassy, Psychic in Psychic, Fairy in Misty, and Electric in Electric), Forecast clone
Terrain Ball- 50 BP, Normal, Special, 100% Acc, 16 PP, Doubles Power and Changes type in each terrain (Grass, Psychic, Fairy, Electric) Justification: An all-around terrain sweeper, and can be used in any terrain to great effect.
Pokemon: Lycanroc-Midnight Roles: Physical Sweeper, Special Sweeper, Choice Band, Choice Specs, Hazards Type: Rock/Ghost Abilities: No Guard / Lone Wolf / Moxie Stat Distribution: 65/110/45/115/45/100 BST: 480 Movepool Additions: Diamond Dagger, Shadow Ball, Shadow Bone, Dazzling Gleam Movepool Removals: Stomping Tantrum, Earth Power Custom Elements:
Lone Wolf- Special Attack Moxie Clone
Diamond Dagger- 95 BP, Rock, Special, 85% Acc, 8 PP, High Critical Hit Ratio Justification: A versitile mixed sweeper. No Guard gives it's strongest Rock STABs, Stone Edge and Diamond Dagger, better accuracy. It's Physical set trades a bit of power for stronger stabs and more coverage options, while it's special set is slightly stronger and has stronger coverage options. It can also use Lone Wolf and Moxie on Special and Physical sets respectively, but the loss of No Guard makes Stone Edge and Diamond Dagger less consistent
Pokemon: Armaldo Roles: Rain abuser (pairs with Megapert), Physical sweeper, Setup sweeper Type: Ground / Bug Abilities: Battle Armour / Swift Swim Stat Distribution: 80 / 125 / 110 / 65 / 75 / 63 Movepool Additions: N/A Movepool Removals: N/A Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Armaldo is a devastating wallbreaker under rain, outspeeding every unboosted pokemon in the meta and having access to useful utility moves like Swords Dance and Rapid Spin. Bug is still a bad typing, but it has pretty coverage to make that up, and access to Knock Off and Aqua Jet. Bug / Ground is pretty decent offensively, it can hit Grass types and Steel types which would cause trouble if it was pure Ground or Bug, respectively.
Pokemon: Sigilyph Roles: Trick room Setter, Special sweeper Type: Psychic / Flying Abilities: Wonder Skin / Magic Guard Stat Distribution: 70 / 58 / 77 / 117 / 108 / 63 Movepool Additions: N/A Movepool Removals: Cosmic Power Custom Elements: N/A Justification: Sigilyph can effectively set Trick Room due to its ability to switch in repeatedly and recover health using Roost. Magic Guard also lets it act as a special sweeper using Life Orb and its broad Movepool.
Pokemon: Vikavolt Roles: Trick Room Abuser, Special sweeper Type: Electric / Rock Abilities: Levitate / Technician Stat Distribution: 77 / 70 / 70 / 130 / 85 / 34 Movepool Additions: Ancient Power Movepool Removals: Agility, Energy Ball Custom Elements: N/A Justification: An amazing special sweeper... under Trick Room. Very high SpA and decent coverage lets it tear through many pokemon, and Technician boosted Ancient Power and Charge Beam give it chances of boosting SpA to even more dangerous levels. Sadly, a Water Shuriken weakness and very low speed out of TR with no reliable way to boost leaves it helpless in some scenarios, forcing it to switch or pivot.
Abilities: Beast Boost | Electric Terrain (HA) Stat Distribution: 103 / 89 / 89 / 97 / 103 / 79 (560 BST) Movepool Additions: Recover Movepool Removals: Tail Glow, Hypnosis Justification: A semi-consistent Electric Terrain setter that has the ability to run Energy Ball in order to dissuade stupid Swampert from coming in. Packs quite good bulk if invested, and is quite threatening offensively if invested too. Volt Switch allows it to pivot around and set terrain multiple times.
Abilities: Overdrive Stat Distribution: 71 / 105 / 95 / 105 / 95 / 99 (570 BST) Movepool Additions: None Movepool Removals: Shift Gear, Techno Blast Custom Elements: Overdrive: If Electric Terrain is active, the user's attacks deal 1.5x damage and they lose 1/8 of their max HP per turn (Solar Power clone). If possibly, upon activation display the message "(pokemon name) has entered Overdrive!" Justification: Mixed attacker with phenomenal power while under terrain and with a movepool to hit virtually anything it wants. It possesses a decently strong U-Turn in order to escape Trapinch and has enough bulk to take a hit or 2 after a few rounds of Overdrive chipping it down. However, it suffers from a subpar offensive typing, and has 4MSS due to almost always wanting U-Turn and a STAB (Steel or Electric, as it's virtually a STAB under terrain). Also, 99 Speed is a pretty painful speed tier as it's just barely not fast (awesome scarf tier tho).
Pokemon: Beheeyem Roles: Trick Room Setter Type:
Abilities: Analytic / Oblivious | Filter (HA) Stat Distribution: 90 / 40 / 75 / 125 / 115 / 40 (485 BST) Movepool Additions: Stealth Rock, Healing Wish, Shadow Switch Movepool Removals: None Custom Elements: Shadow Switch: Ghost-type Volt Switch clone Justification: Pretty bulky but also very powerful Trick Room setter that can run both defensive and offensive sets while also setting Trick Room easily. Forms a capable Trick Room setting core with Audino and should really bring some viability to the archetype.
This set packs good bulk and surprising power while consistently setting Trick Room. Moves are obvious, Filter and Colbur Berry allow Beheeyem to hilariously check scarf Pangoro and most other Dark-types, and the EV spread ensures that Shadow Switch OHKOes Band Metagross after rocks.
OTR (Beheeyem) @ Ghostium Z

Pokemon: Exeggutor Roles: Trick Room Abuser, Special Wallbreaker Type:
Abilities: Parental Bond Stat Distribution: 95 / 70 / 70 / 130 / 50 / 45 (460 BST) Movepool Additions: None Movepool Removals: None Justification: A devastatingly powerful special attacker with garbage speed, garbage defensive typing, and barely passable bulk. The solution? Trick Room.
Abilities: Thick Fat / Sturdy / Sand Stream Stats: 110 / 70 / 65 / 55 / 60 / 60 (BST: 420) Movepool Additions: Shadow Sneak, Spectral Thief, Stone Edge, Relic Retreat* Movepool Removlas: Yawn Custome Elements: *Relic Retreat — Rock type Parting Shot clone that, instead of lowering offenses, has the effect of Magic Coat. Justifictaion: A reason to use cacturne. A pretty solid pokemon with great bulk thanks to eviolite and sandstorm, he can achieve some things that were pretty difficult before, mainly safely switching and stopping set ups from going rampent.
Abilities: Moxie / Berserk / Sand Rush Stats: 70 / 105 / 72 / 120 / 72 / 71 (BST: 510) Movepool Additions: Earth Power, Shore Up, Dragon Dance, Thoudand Waves Movepool Removals: Glare, Steel Wing Justification: Really powerful fellow. It has a surprisingly good coverage with boltbeam + ground STAB. it has moves for a lot of different situations. Can be played special under sand or physical with dragon dance + thousand wave to kick stall's butt. Doesn't like raichu nor fairy-typed mons, though.
Pokemon: Corsola Roles: Rain Abuser, Set Up Sweeper, Special Wall (Free Slot) Typing:
Abilities: Dry Skin / Prankster Stats: 77 / 65 / 63 / 80 / 105 / 105 (BST: 495) Movepool Additions: Calm Mind, Thunder, Earth Power, Trick, Light Wall, Reflect Movepool Removals: Ice Beam, Blizzard, Icy Wind Justification: Really solid pokemon with lots of different options, either offensively or defensively. Can sweep with Calm Mind or can wall some things like ninjask. Really weak to grass.
Name of the Pokemon: Volcarona Role(s): Sun Setter, Defensive Pivot Type: Fire Abilities: Drought / Levitate (HA) Stat Distribution: 85/60/75/105/115/80 (520) Movepool Additions: None Movepool Removals: Quiver Dance Custom Elements: None Justification: Volcarona sets sun. Its good bulk and access to Roost give it longevity it needs to set Sun more than once. 105 Special Attack isn't bad, either, so it's a decent attacker itself. However, being a Fire-type expected to come in repeatedly does lead to the obvious issues with Stealth Rock.
Name of the Pokemon: Gigalith Role(s): Sun Abuser, Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (but why) Type: Rock Abilities: Sturdy / Solar Core* / Solar Power (HA) Stat Distribution: 85/60/120/125/70/25 (485) Movepool Additions: Morning Sun, Energy Burst** Movepool Removals: (e.g. none) Custom Elements: *Solar Core - Heals 1/16th of max HP at the end of each turn in Sun. (Sun-based Rain Dish clone) **Energy Burst - Rock-type Solar Beam clone Justification: Gigalith abuses sun. Its excellent 125 Special Attack can be pushed further with Solar Power, or you can use Solar Core instead for additional passive recovery. Energy Burst functions as a primary STAB option when Sun is up. Morning Sun pushes Gigalith's longevity up a little.

Name of the Pokemon: Aegislash Role(s): Setup Sweeper, Priority Type: Steel - Fighting Abilities: Stance Change Stat Distribution:
Shield Form: 50 - 50 - 115 - 50 - 115 - 60 Blade Form: 50 - 115 - 50 - 115 - 50 - 60 BST: 440 Movepool Additions: Focus Blast, Meteor Mash, Sacred Sword, Nasty Plot, Vacuum Wave, Bullet Punch, Emperor's Shield Movepool Removals: King's Shield Emperor's Shield: Protects the user for one turn and if hit by a special attack, lowers the opponent's special attack by 1. (Special Kind shield clone with -1 drop instead of -2). Justification: Aegislash is an strong mixed attacker with a nice defensive and offensive typing and Emperor's Shield helps to lower a bit of the special bias in this meta. The necessity of almost always being in Shield Form slows momentum greatly and a lack of reliable recovery plus slow speed means Aegislash can be worn down easily.

Evs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Titania Tears / Moonblast
- Calm Mind
- Moonlight
- Barrier
Pokemon: Lycanroc-Midnight Roles: Physical Sweeper, Special Sweeper, Choice Band, Choice Specs, Hazards Type: Rock/Ghost Abilities: No Guard / Lone Wolf / Moxie Stat Distribution: 65/110/45/115/45/100 BST: 480 Movepool Additions: Diamond Dagger, Shadow Ball, Shadow Bone, Dazzling Gleam Movepool Removals: Stomping Tantrum, Earth Power Custom Elements:
Lone Wolf- Special Attack Moxie Clone
Diamond Dagger- 95 BP, Rock, Special, 85% Acc, 8 PP, High Critical Hit Ratio Justification: A versitile mixed sweeper. No Guard gives it's strongest Rock STABs, Stone Edge and Diamond Dagger, better accuracy. It's Physical set trades a bit of power for stronger stabs and more coverage options, while it's special set is slightly stronger and has stronger coverage options. It can also use Lone Wolf and Moxie on Special and Physical sets respectively, but the loss of No Guard makes Stone Edge and Diamond Dagger less consistent
Hey everybody! Now that we're done subbing (for the time being), it's time for other fun stuff! The first of which will be a Community Create-A-Team (CCAT). With the first pokemon submitted by me, anybody can then sub a pokemon for the 2nd slot, which will then be voted on. After that, we do the 3rd slot, 4th slot, and so on.
Here's what we're building around:
Trevenant @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Harvest
EVs: 52 HP / 252 Atk / 204 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Bulk Up
- Substitute
- Drain Punch
- Phantom Force
What kind of team will be built around this stallbreaker? That's for us to decide...
Lanturn @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD (Speed can be minimized to ensure more slow switches)
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Recover
- Heal Bell
Trevenant can be walled by Milotic and revenge killed by Ninjask, so I believe Lanturn is a great partner for Trevenant. It absorbs special attacks, burns opponents to allow Trevenant to setup better, and heals burns caused by Mew and other Water-types. In return, Trevenant can beat walls that Lanturn can't chip well, such as Audino-Mega, Meganium, and other Lanturns.
