- Ursaring should be Adamant, max Atk max Speed, to outspeed stuff like Alomomola or Suicune that otherwise will end up leaving you burned and weaken. Max HP without Eviolite doesn't really make sense. Also I'd get rid of Covet for something else like Earthquake or Close Combat.
- Galarcuno would appreciate U-Turn over Psyshock or Icy Wind. Also Trick is a interesting option to cripple things like Blissey or Cresselia.
- I don't get what your Florges does: if you intend to be a special wall that supports the team, you better have Max HP/Max Def with a Bold nature (its SpD being already massive).
- Same goes for Gyarados: why max Def, max Atk? If you intend to be defensive, you need max HP, max Def but imo it's a waste on such a mon, you'd be better with an offensive set, Max Atk, Max Spewith DD/Liquidation/Brave Bird/Sub, EQ or Roost.
Hope it can help!

Skeledirge @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Weak Armor
Tera Type: Fire
EVs: 208 HP / 204 SpD / 96 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Torch Song
- Slack Off
- Stored Power
- Iron Defense

why is this showing up as a "Skeledirge can't learn stored power"?

Greninja @ Choice Band
Ability: Sharpness
Tera Type: Water
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Aqua Cutter
- Night Slash
- Sacred Sword
- U-turn

why is this coming up as "U-Turn is incompatible"?

Skeledirge has been a complete weirdo. It can’t even use Infernal Parade and Energy Ball on the same set. We have no idea why and you should go to the Bug Report forum to document this.

- For Ursaring, speed might be a good idea, but usually with how frail it is, it needs the extra hp to survive a lot of attacks. Additionally, the extra power is just enough to 2hko a few mons it’s switched into with fakeout and quick attack. Covet is just an extra move for more up front damage, being the strongest normal move with technician.
- For articuno I did originally have u turn on it in place of icy wind, tried swapping it in to handle lando-t, but it’s kinda pointless
- On gyarados, I ripped it out of one of my bulkier teams, it being a very hard hitting physical wall, taking the place of lando-t
- Florges is kinda on the same situation, its special defense being so high that the lower hp is good enough in exchange for fairly threatening moon blasts. Also it dies to physical attacks anyway, so I thought might as well.

I feel like if Covet is just a "damage" move, you might as well just switch to a different move in the 80+ power range with a better effect such as Body Slam, or go for coverage like Dorsia suggested.

:Zoroark: :Iron Crown: :Fezandipiti: :Alomomola: :Inteleon: :Shaymin:

Peak is 1473 currently (ignore gxe i dont use alts ever)

Edit: lmao
IMG_7441.jpeg

NOTE: Not mentioning the Fez/Mola sets because those are extremely standard with minor changes in Defog and Roar (which is still somewhat standard)

:Zoroark: Zoroark @ Choice Band
Ability: Stakeout (:Mabosstiff:)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Gunk Shot (:Persian-Alola:)
- Sucker Punch
- U-turn

The Stakeout guy, always assumed to be special, always blindsided by physical.

Does great damage, mainly used for knock spam and revenge killing :Iron Moth: after chip from :Fezandipiti:

sum calcs:
252 Atk Choice Band Stakeout Zoroark Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Suicune: 361-426 (89.3 - 105.4%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zoroark Sucker Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Iron Moth: 223-264 (74 - 87.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Stakeout Zoroark Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Alomomola: 339-400 (63.4 - 74.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
252 Atk Choice Band Zoroark Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Fezandipiti: 198-234 (52.1 - 61.5%) -- 97.7% chance to 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 Atk Choice Band Stakeout Zoroark Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Regirock: 220-261 (60.4 - 71.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

I dont have much to say for this mon. It misses out on kills quite often due to a low 105 base Attack stat, but has proven to be more useful than Stakeout :Porygon Z: Porygon Z

:Iron Crown: Iron Crown @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate (:Jirachi:)
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Doom Desire (:Jirachi:)
- Tachyon Cutter
- Psychic Noise
- U-turn

Was originally rocks over Doom Desire (ripped from that one set posted credit to who posted it lol)

This mon is insane, such utility has never been discovered before

Natural bulk allows u to live several things without investment, levitate allows u to beat mons that rely heavily on Ground type moves as coverage for Steels, and its immune to SPIKES!! Definitely one of best mons inside Convergence, was a d1 mon for me.

:Inteleon: Inteleon @ Choice Specs
Ability: Adaptability (:Corphish:)
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Water Spout (:Blastoise:)
- Surf
- Psychic (:Manaphy:)
- U-turn

This mon is… something else. Water Spout will have a vestless regenless Suicune found shot dead in the back of a Poke Center.

Psychic is for Dry Skin :Okidogi: dogi

FR tho, Inteleon either 2 shots or 1 shots every mon in the game that isnt immune to water

Great speed tier, great damage. Overall A+ tier mon

:Shaymin: Shaymin @ Toxic Orb
Ability: Poison Heal (:Shroomish:)
Tera Type: Grass
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Fling (:Rillaboom:)
- Spiky Shield (:Chespin:)
- Glare (:Serperior:)
- Air Slash

Dual status spammer and professional fatmon. Mainly used to cripple anything :Zoroark: and :Inteleon: can’t naturally outspeed. It’s the newest member of the team , but its easily proved to be worth it, esp vs non DWingbeat Lando T & other poison heal guys that try to come in on it. Also a paraflinch haxmon (which doesnt ever work)

Example vs BD spam: https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9convergence-2497087207

id show other replays but i dont ever save them

The biggest threat to this team is Booster Energy Quark Drive Speed :Iron Moth: because Inteleon doesnt outspeed it. 90% of other threats are handled via :Alomomola: mola (thank you mola)

When will Belly Drum be banned? This move can be slapped on nearly any Pokemon and just instantly sweep you unless you have Unaware or a good resist. The only reason I’ve been able to somewhat survive using stall is because of all 3 of my special walls having an anti-setup move (Dragon Tail Suicune, Haze Cresselia, Encore Scream Tail) and my physical walls being able to immediately threaten the Belly Drummer with Body Press (Skarmory, Regirock, Chesnaught).

However, if someone just uses a random unexpected Belly Drummer like Mew with a few other setup sweepers, it is nearly uncounterable.

Forgot to get this out, my apologies!

I mentioned this somewhere, but the council isn't able to be gathered to do a full vote at this time, so we unfortunately would not be tackling the full list of topics On the Radar. However, 1 element was still seen as broken and we deemed to crazy to leave on the cutting room floor.....

Belly Drum is now banned from Convergence!
The move is nuts. So nuts we had to get it out of here.
In addition to that, something else is being implemented

We have now established an Ability Clause. Users will only be able to carry 1 of any Ability per team. This will stop teams from overloading on potentially problematic elements and promote more diverse playstyles.

With that being said, a proper vote with more things should be expected soon, so look out for that.

dhelmise fix up this deh please

Alright. A bit unfortunate, but good to know. Didn't want to waste time making something illegal.
National dex Convergence Is pretty dead But maybe you can tryna revive it.

Massive W, Too much Bdrum kills Bdrum.

Anyways, been testing Sand, banette Is a p cool Sand rusher, has stab, Brick Break, prio Trick/switcheroo/Dbond, and hits harder than like, All the other Pure Ghosts, gives Spinblocking to the Spikes-wielding Hippowdon, Overall Very cool

In light of ability clause being implemented, I'm going to drop a silly team I made: https://pokepast.es/e08058211fe4e6b6
The idea is to stack wish wielding waters in an attempt to waste all of the PP of any threat your opponents might have. I've found 4 to be around the optimal number, as it gives you two slots to deal with setup sweepers, with there also only being about 3 real standout bulky waters, with a 4th for backup. Mix and match moves to your hearts content, and don't focus too much on losing becuase this is just a matchup fish that is either unstoppable, or as stoppable as a red sign in a school zone. (Or at least it would be if it wasn't being banned)

Been loving this cosmoem set

Cosmoem @ Eviolite
Ability: Magic Guard / Regenerator (Reuniclus)
Tera Type: Psychic
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD

- Night Shade (Reuniclus)
- Teleport

I'm pretty sure this mon is outclassed by :Cresselia: in every way:
1. Cress doesn't rely on Eviolite and therefore can use boots, lefties, colbur berry, covert cloak or anything else.
2. Its base HP is largely better.

Also pure Psyching mons have access to Magic Bounce (thanks to :Hattrem:), think about it. If you really intend to use Cosmoem, I think you need to go max HP/Def.
This might be an option if Cress is somehow banned in the future, even though I think we have better options before Cosmoem. Would you have any replays of Cosmoem in action?
