Kerfluffle HP:372 Yep, lives with 1HP again. Leftovers recovery cancels Stealth Rock damage without needing Protect. Though you can rework the EVs to need Protect so you do more damage etc, it's late where I am.

the thing is you cant reliably set up and cyclohm outspeeds and paralysis will more than likely happen because of static and discharge. I wouldn't say it comfortably PP stalls.

It doesn't need to setup, it just needs to stall. Corv is more than capable of PP stalling moves that 2HKO it. Discharge 3HKOs. Corv only needs 2 Roosts every 3 turns to live, so a 1/3 para trigger rate is fine for it (and para triggers 1/4). Oh, and every para trigger is a PP saved in the PP war, so para actually helps it PP stall unless major hax.

So i think this counters both Charizard and Venusaur at +2 in the sun. This set is a bit low ladder, but it'll get the job done.

This is a valid counter, but I'm going to post the full calcs.
For starters, Smoko has a Life Orb. Secondly, Gunk Shot has a 30% chance to poison.
252 Atk Life Orb Smokomodo Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pelipper: 113-134 (34.8 - 41.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after poison damage if poisoned on switch-in (30% chance).
252 Atk Life Orb Smokomodo Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pelipper: 113-134 (34.8 - 41.3%) -- 50.8% chance to 2HKO after poison damage if poisoned by second Gunk Shot (Smoko is faster, 21% chance)
252 Atk Life Orb Smokomodo Gunk Shot vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Pelipper: 113-134 (34.8 - 41.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO if not poisoned (49% chance)
Add in Gunk Shot's 80% accuracy, and the odds of Pelipper winning is above 50%, which makes it a valid counter. So be sure to remember items and secondary effects when calcing (especially if the target will get multiple attacks)!
