Seeing how I only have poke ball Snivys from Gen 6 then yeah 5 IV friend balls would be nice (probably would be good to breed Glare onto it if you haven't already).

Do males transfer the ball in this gen now?

I need both male and female Snivy. My end-game is breeding a Contrary HP Fire Snivy in a Friend Ball.

Anyway, take your time. I'll tend to my other projects in the meantime.

Yes, males can pass on their balls now if paired with a Ditto. If paired with a Snivy it's 50/50.
