That Drifblim looks fun, but I think Explosion has no place there, especially since it's burned and has an uninvested attack and negative nature.

Drifblim set looks interesting. Looks like an interesting answer to rain teams for sure. You should still be wary, though, as Drifblim is weak to Thunder, which has 100% accuracy in the rain.

And as nobody has commented on that Zoroark set, I must say, it's a very novel idea. I never even thought of Zoroark for such a role. I may have to try that out sometime. Though Ferrothorn aren't really a (Ferro)thorn in my side these days, and it's all thanks to...

Espeon @ Life Orb
Timid nature
Magic Bounce
252 Sp. Atk/252 Spd/4 HP
~Psyshock
~HP Fire
~Grass Knot
~Shadow Ball

As most Espeon carry HP Fighting, this comes as a good shock to a lot of people. In the two or three days since I've downloaded Pokémon Online, I can't begin to tell you how many times Espeon's OHKO'd a Scizor switch-in, or switched into a Ferrothorn's Stealth Rock and OHKO'd it in return. Only real problem it has that I've seen is with Hydreigon, who resists three of Espeon's moves, and is immune to the fourth one. Well, it's also not the best option against Tyranitar, as that Special Defense boost from the Sandstorm rather inhibits Espeon's usability against it. Not to mention the sheer number of Scarf'd Pursuit T-tar I've seen these days. Aside from those, though, I've had good results with this set.

I use this set, but with choice specs. it is a great set, especially with Dual Screens. it can even be a SmashPass receptant, because of the great ability it holds

Espeon's deadliest set is indeed a Smashpass recipient, but not with Psyshock as STAB--Stored Power is where it's at. While it can only 3HKO Blissey with the Smashpass, it OHKOs just about anything else including stuff like Vappy and Jellicent, 2HKOing the standard CM Reuniclus at full health. It has no use whatsoever without a boost, but when it's given the +120 BP onto Stored Power, it is a beast. Throw up some Deo-S screens and you are set.

Cryogonal @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 32 SAtk / 224 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Blizzard / Ice Beam
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Toxic

Yeah, I know Cryogonal isn't the best option as a spinner in OU but it's actually not half that bad. Base 135 SDef, 95 SAtk and 105 speed is pretty decent and thanks to Levitate it can actually switch-in with relative ease against stuff as Gliscor and Landorus. Also has access to STAB Blizzard so it can be used on a hail team (!). Toxic + Recover lets you outstall the primary spin-blocker Jellicent, but also stuff as Rotom-W and Gastrodon, something Starmie can't do. Max HP for some added bulk, enough speed to outspeed base 101's (Landorus) and the rest in SAtk for a slightly stronger Blizzard. No need to invest in Def since base 30 still sucks.

The set looks interesting would you use Ice Bean over Blizzard outside of Hail or risk the Blizzard miss?

I have a weird Spinda set that might be good.

Spinda @ Sticky Barb
Nature: Calm
Trait: Own Tempo
EVs: 76 HP/124 Def/176 SpD/134 Spe
Moveset:
-Trick
-Hypnosis/Teeter Dance/Protect
-Wish/Teeter Dance/Protect
-Hidden Power Fighting/Toxic

At first it's gimmicky then it's lulz then it's kind of viable. The goal is to Trick the Sticky Barb off then troll them with Hypnosis/Teeter Dance. Protect is for stalling out their living turns. I need a way to rack up more damage so HP Fight/Toxic was useful. Wish is more for a Toxic/Protect/Hypnosis setting and where you plan to Trick back your Sticky Barb to do more damage to the enemy. Calm is just so I can get a Special defense Spinda and the EVs are defensive so I can take hits.

why dont you just use toxic as the main method of residual damage? it would free up an item slot for lefties, it also takes out the opposing poke faster.

Anti-lead Archeops
252atk/252 Spe/ 4HP?(I don't remember if i put them into HP or not, you want odd HP for SR obviously)
Defeatist
Jolly @ Bug Gem/Flying Gem
Taunt
U-turn
Rockslide/Stone Edge
Acrobatics

This (for the most part) will work as you anti-lead and can scout. Archeops is super fast so he can use taunt to stop in hazard leads or anything that wants to set up. Then you U-turn out with your bug gem boosted U-turn for switch advantage. And since you Taunted their SR you can come in later for free (hopefully) and hit them with you powerful acrobatics (since you lost your bug gem) It works great for me. I love this set.

i dont get why you couldn't just ko hazard leads instead of taunt them. other than that this is nearly exactly the same as the standard archeops set

I'd use a Lum Berry or go with a ChestoRest instead of a useless Gem.

@Dregstr, Acrobatics is Archeops' best and strongest move (bar Head Smash) But for it to be his strongest move he has to go itemless. But why go completely itemless when can get a free one time boost to go along with going itemless.
Lets reiterate-
Pick one
-A reliable, High Base powered STAB w/o an item

-A reliable, High Base powered STAB w/o an item, but a free one time boost!

EDIT: Ninja'd

ChestoRest has nothing to do with defenses. Archeops needs the ChestoRest otherwise you're running into Defeatist which makes Archeops a vegetable.

Yeah, it does, actually. If by some miracle you survive a hit and Rest, the hit you take on the turn you Rest sends you right back to Defeatist range, where you belong.

This is a set I've only just started messing with, but I think it has a lot of potential:

Dragonite @ Leftovers
184 HP / 8 Atk / 136 SpDef / 182 Spe
Careful / Multiscale

Substitute
Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw
Roost

Straightforward set, right? You sub up on walls, DD, and try to defensively rack up enough boosts to muscle through opponents. Eats defensive teams for breakfast, as with his good bulk and typing, it can easily set up on weaker attacks and Ice Beams. The EVs aim for a mix of speed and bulk, and that after 1 DD you can outspeed Starmie and below so you can SubRoost stall its Ice Beams, though you can shift some speed EVs to attack as long as you hit whatever speed benchmarks you like at +1 (though being slower than Timid Lati@s is a bad idea). Paralysis support can give you the critical opening to set up your Substitute, and steel trapping support from Magnezone is a must unless you aim to set up as a last pokemon (+6 Dragon Claw does 40% minimum to 252/252 Skarmory, which means you can stall it out of Roost recovery and win the residual damage war). Something that can reliably switch in and threaten Blissey/Chansey is also a good idea, such as SubSplit Gengar, or running this set with Toxic Spikes support.
