[12:31:09] bodyblock_combinations was kicked from #capasb by IAR (Die in a fire)

But yeah, I edited the Attacks List to reflect the outcome of this vote.

Adding to Encore's description that it cannot encore Encore, Mimic, Mirror Move, Sketch, Transform or any commands. If it turns out that I am wrong about the "any commands" part, I will remove that part.

Commands I believe is right, citation on no encoring encore?

Given Malaconda & Brattler have been completed in the world of CAP, I decided to get the grunt work out of the way & simply get the profiles done for everyone's sake. All that is pretty much needed is the Capture Rate & Rarity Cost, but yeah. Is this all correct, etc.

I also take it Infiltrator will be a DW Ability, idk, but yeah... :|

[a]Malaconda[/a]Malaconda Family Data:

Gender Ratio: 50% Male / 50% Female
Height: 1.8m (5'11")
Weight: 11.5 kg (25.4 lbs)
Evolution: Brattler -> Level 33 -> Malaconda
Type: Grass/Dark
Grass: Grass STAB; immunity to Leech Seed and Worry Seed. 50% reduction in status effect chance of oncoming "powder" attacks. More mobile in areas with strong natural light sources. Superior senses in tall grass and forest areas. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus.
Dark: Dark STAB; immunity to all telepathic and telekinetic attacks, better performance in all darkened and especially twilight conditions. Can use any Dark-type attack regardless of Attraction.

Abilities
Harvest: (Passive) At the end of each round, this Pokémon can recycle or restore a berry that has been used or partially used. If the weather is Sunny Day, the Berry will be fully restored / recycled 100% of the time. If the weather is not Sunny Day, the Berry will be fully restored / recycled 50% of the time. This check occurs immediately after the final action of a round, before any arena effects that might change the weather take effect. If the Berry can be activated again, it will do so on the first action of the next round. If a berry cannot be recycled, Harvest cannot not regrow it. The Berry is consumed at the end of the battle.
Infiltrator (DW): (Passive) Through a combination of speed and cunning, this Pokémon easily circumvents the effects of Light Screen, Mist, Reflect, and Safeguard with all of its attacks.

Double posting because someone did not put the attack type of Constrict in the DAT... It is a Physical Attack, so I have fixed that now, haha

Hi so I made myself a mod again and implemented Malaconda since Deck is absent. If you have a problem with that take it up with me.

In other news, Brattler and Malaconda are now available! Now you too can purchase your very own Brattler for just 2 CC. Also we made up catch rates for Brattler and Malaconda that are comlpetely arbitrary.

Thanks IAR for doing like 99% of the work.

Changed Substitute's CT to None because the way it works prevents it from being combined with itself and there is no other move it could feasibly be combined with. There are probably some more moves this reasoning applies to that ought to have their CTs changed to None. I'll get those some other time.

His royal impatientness pestered me to remove the combination restrictions on Giga Impact as per an IRC log. I duly obliged with said request... -.-'

Someone apparently removed 5% the minimum boost in Accuracy for +speed natures behind our backs, so I went on a power trip & put the 5% minimum boost back in the Speed section. Redirect all complaints this may have caused to Onion_Bubs.

Edited Color Change's description to replace "Kecleon" with "this Pokemon" and did a similar edit to Stall's description. If any other ability descriptions mention species names, inform me and I will edit the descriptions to remove such mentions.

Added a mention to Knock Off where the effects of the item still occurs before the item is swatted away based on in-game precedence & other views. e.g. Everstone boosting defence still calculates with the boosted Defence stat, Rocky Helmet still delivers recoil, etc.

So I got some clarification on a few things regarding stat boost decay. When a stat boost or drop is caused by something that says the boost is maintained in each round (such as Intimidate), the stat stage decays towards a new value based on the stat boost/drop caused by this effect. I am phrasing this as affecting the Pokemon's natural stage in the stat, which is usually 0 but can be adjusted by effects like Intimidate.

This phrasing has already been put into the general rules for stat boosts/drops. The moves Shell Smash and Shift Gear and the Intimidate command have been edited to include this phrasing and, in the process, I removed a line from Quiver Dance's description where it says the move prevents decay if used on an action other than the first. The stat boost rules already say this so it's redundant.

A bunch of abilities that cause stage boosts or drops that are maintained in each round have been affected. Additionally, some abilities use language that might be confusing given this newly-introduced phrasing. As a result, the phrasing in these abilities will be changed as well. The following abilities will be affected by this unless anyone raises an objection within 24 hours of the edit time: EDIT: Due to lack of objections, the following abilities have now had their phrasing modified:
  • Anger Point
  • Big Pecks
  • Contrary
  • Download
  • Insomnia
  • Intimidate
  • Justified
  • Lightningrod
  • Motor Drive
  • Moxie
  • Own Tempo
  • Rattled
  • Sap Sipper
  • Speed Boost
  • Steadfast
  • Tangled Feet
  • Vital Spirit
  • Weak Armor

If a mod wants to make a thread for this sort of thing and / or wants to move / remove this post, feel free to.

I'm keeping track of XY's pulse and noting down base stats once they're fully confirmed. They're being put in a tentative section of the NDA.

A small discussion came up regarding the possibility of a Destiny Bond combo and we agreed that as with fixed damage the cap would also be the sum of the constituents (30+30 in this case). I am also hotfixing the following line into Destiny Bond to guard against abuse of Destiny Bond self-combos (which cost 59.5 EN):

This move cannot be used unless the user has enough Energy to afford the resulting attack.

I also added a codification of the comboing of Fixed damage attacks and capped damage attacks as BAP/cap*2 for same moves and bap/cap 1 + bap/cap 2 for different moves. For fixed damage combos comboing with other moves (i.e. Dragon Rage+Dragonbreath), the fixed move has an effect akin to holding a Magnet, where the other move will be calculated as normal and the fixed damage will be added on to the end of the move.

As per this vote, the crash damage on Bounce, Fly and Sky Drop has been changed to 2 * Weight Class + 4 (or, in Sky Drop's case, this crash damage has been added) and the crash damage on Hi Jump Kick and Jump Kick has been changed to Weight Class + BAP of move (or combo, and after Helping Hand but with no other modifiers).

OK, I have finally learned exactly how combinations of a physical move and a special move are calculated and, as it turns out, the whole "split the BAP in half and do one physical calc and one special calc" method wasn't necessary. Instead, you simply calculate the damage like any old combo of two different moves, but you apply the rank bonuses and stat stage bonuses for both physical stats and special stats. Also, if there are modifiers to both physical attacks and special attacks involving that user and target (eg, a burned Torterra uses Razor Leaf + Leaf Storm versus a Rhyperior in a sandstorm), you apply both such modifiers.

The phrasing of the section on combinations of physical and special moves has been changed to reflect the availability of this much simpler method. Any complaints are to be redirected to Onion_Bubs.

EDIT: Minor edit: Whirlipede's Size Class was incorrectly listed as 3. It has been changed to 2.

EDIT: Actually, it seems Size Class is applied inconsistently for quadrupeds. Watch this space for any further Size Class changes.

EDIT: OK, it has been cleared up. Reverting the previous change. However, Dragonair's Size Class has been changed to 4.
