Some move errors in the CAPs:

Kril should /probably/ have Facade in gen v (has it in gen IV), but doesn't
Pyroak should /probably/ have Light Screen in gen v (has it in gen IV), but doesn't
Colossoil should /probably/ have Hyper Beam in gen v (has it in gen IV), but doesn't

Updating the movepool layout on the CAPs to make them usable, if someone can pastebin the old movepools and update them to the below that'd be great (I'm sleepy :x)

Thanks to Pwn for compiling these - all TMs duplicated from Gen IV to Gen V have been removed, ditto for Event moves.

That's Krillowatt and all the other FEs after it btw.

Edited: DAT OP/CAP Data
Reason: Nohface's Pre-25 list was erroneous again... It listed Tackle, but its full movepool said it does not get it.

Edited: Attacks List
Reason: Mentioned Thunderpunch's secondary effect in its description.

Also Engi is a lazy ass & forgot to post when he did this...

Engi Edited: Attacks List
Engi's Reason: Grammar

After Onion_Bubs failed to display the entire descriptions for Petal Dance, Outrage and Thrash when the !move command was used, I have shortened the descriptions of those moves (but kept all the information in there).

Like I said in my now-deleted post, there was confusion regarding Mold Breaker. I'm not the guy whose confusion prompted the original Mold Breaker update to the abilities list, but since that update was ... shall we say, very inefficient, I have added the list of abilities that are bypassed by Mold Breaker to the end of Mold Breaker's description, similar to the list of Moody natures. The list contains all the abilities that (in ASB) are bypassed by Mold Breaker and, in some cases, specifies which aspects of the abilities are bypassed.

EDIT: Also shortened Curse's description since it was too long for Onion_Bubs.

Edited: Attacks List.
Reason: Aqua Ring/Ingrain update as per this vote. Also gave Ingrain CT: Passive since it did not have one. Also, Aqua Ring's CT is Passive as well.

Edited Spit up and Swallow to clarify that they fail if the Pokemon has no Stockpile effect and that using either move removes all Stockpile effects. Also, to be brought in line with other healing moves like Recover and Synthesis, Swallow heals 10 HP per Stockpile instead of 10% HP per Stockpile.

EDIT: Also added the following line to Cursed Body's description: "A Pokemon with an attack disabled by Cursed Body cannot have another one disabled by Disable, and vice versa."

EDIT: And one more, added a line to Snatch's description to clarify that snatching a chill or recovery move means the move goes against your chill or recovery count.

EDIT: OK one more, based on the log in this post I have added the multi-hit move hit probabilities to the attacks post. They are 2:2:1:1.

EDIT: Turns out Submission had a really long description, so I trimmed the fat and left the important information and now it's short enough.

EDIT: Apparently when we decided that Rock Slide, Rock Throw and Rock Tomb require external rock sources, nobody bothered to say that in the move descriptions. Guess who had to go and add it in.

Encumbrance update:

  • Acrobatics has been updated to say that a Flying Gem does not cause encumbrance, and neither does any consumable item that has been used at least once.
  • Unburden has been updated to say that it does not activate on multiple uses of the same item, even if the Pokemon switches out between uses.

That is all.

Sand Stream needs updating...

Sand Stream:

Type: Innate

When entering into battle, this Pokemon summons a massive Sandstorm that does not end, expending 10 EN to do so. It can re-summon the effect mid-battle for 9 EN with a command.

Command: (Ability: Sand Stream)

The flying gravel and rocks of Sandstorm will do two (2) damage per action to Pokemon that do not have hard bodies (Rock-, Ground-, and Steel-types) or the Sand Veil, Sand Strength, or Sand Throw abilities.

Pokemon with this ability: Tyranitar, Hippopotas, Hippowdon.
I think these abilities should be Sand Veil, Sand Force, and Sand Rush.

ObjEDIT: Fixed.

Edited: Attacks List.
Reason: OCD edit to Calm Mind's data — should be "Attack Power: -- |" instead of "Attack Power: --|"

Since someone thought Razor Claw and Razor Fang's descriptions could be interpreted as making Hone Claws and Swords Dance into 3 BAP attacks, I've stated in the attacks post that moves with a BAP of -- are treated as not having a BAP, and therefore cannot have their BAP increased or decreased by any means.

EDIT: Shortened Trick Room's description after it broke Onion_Bubs.

OK, since this is a big update, I'm making a new post for it instead of just editing it into the above post.

As per this vote, the ability category system has been overhauled. The new category system for abilities is as follows:
Objection said:
  • Trait: This ability is always in effect as a natural part of the Pokemon, even in matches where no ability is specified or in matches where one ability other than this ability is specified.
  • Passive: This ability is always in effect except in matches where no ability is specified or in matches where one ability other than this ability is specified. The ability's effect may always be active or it may be active only under certain circumstances.
  • Trigger: This ability has an effect that is activated by spending an action and a certain amount of energy. Sometimes the effect will also be activated automatically when the Pokemon is sent out; this may or may not cost energy. Abilities in this category may have additional ongoing effects like those of Passive abilities.
  • Toggle: This ability has two effects that the Pokemon can choose between, one of which is given as the default and one of which may be no effect whatsoever. The effects of these abilities are like those of Passive abilities. The Pokemon may toggle between the two effects when sent out or at the start of any round in which its trainer is ordering first. Toggling between effects does not take up an action or cost any energy.
As a result, all abilities have been reclassified to fit this new system.

The following abilities are Trigger:
  • Cloud Nine
  • Color Change
  • Drizzle
  • Drought
  • Intimidate
  • Magnet Pull
  • Pickpocket
  • Rebound
  • Sand Stream
  • Snow Warning
  • Trace

The following abilities are Toggle:
  • Contrary
  • Effect Spore
  • Hustle
  • Illuminate
  • Klutz
  • Normalize
  • Poison Point
  • Poison Touch
  • Sheer Force
  • Weak Armor
  • Zen Mode

The following abilities are Trait:
  • Defeatist
  • Slow Start
  • Truant

All abilities not in those three lists are Passive.

In addition, abilities whose category is Toggle have their descriptions reformatted to something like this:

Sheer Force:

Type: Toggle

No default effect. When toggled, this Pokemon can energize all its attacks with a secondary effect (These are damaging moves that either lower the target's stats, raise the user's stats, or inflict a status condition on the target). The Base Attack Power of every move with a secondary effect increases by two (2), but they will never have their usual secondary effect.

Pokemon with this ability: Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Krabby, Kingler, Tauros, Totodile, Croconaw, Feraligatr, Steelix, Makuhita, Hariyama, Mawile, Trapinch, Bagon, Cranidos, Rampardos, Timburr, Gurdurr, Conkeldurr, Darmanitan, Druddigon, Rufflet, Braviary, Landorus.
Also a few minor grammar fixes to a few abilities. Nothing significant there though except for how the alternative effects for Effect Spore, Poison Point and Poison Touch are worded.

Additionally, Gluttony's description now mentions that the Pokemon gains 2 HP per action from Leftovers.

That is all.

EDIT: Oh, and some blank lines were removed from the abilities post.

EDIT: Category name Activated has been changed to Trigger.

EDIT: Magnet Pull (Attract) and Magnet Pull (Repulse) have been condensed into one command with two distinct uses a la Agility.

[00:56] <@~Deck_Knight> Errm, Why would it since Pickup only deals with discarded items, not used ones.
[01:01] <@~Deck_Knight> "Is Used" is really meant for things like Fling, not for consumption through eating
[02:45] <@~Deck_Knight> If you fling an item and it has an additional effect (Like Toxic/Flame/Light Orb) then that effect happens.

Editing the descriptions of Pickup & Fling based on these word of god rulings. The former will mention that only items discarded through fling will be picked up (Knocked Off items still pick up), & the latter will mention about the listed special effects of throwing specific items. Finally, I am going to change that god awful name of Pick Up back to the ingame name of Pickup. 8)

Snow Warning's description said it cost 10 EN to resummon, while all the other weather abilities say 9. I've changed Snow Warning to match the other abilities.

Tonight on Moves with Too Long Descriptions, we have Pain Split. Through careful editing and rephrasing, Objection reduces the length of Pain Split's description so that his bot's script can display it in full.

Reason: Council voted in favour of nerfing Shift, & I also clarified Sky Drop based on a Word of God Ruling posted in feedback. I also added how it fails on Substitutes, because I can.

What a way to spoil my 6,666th post... I post too much... 9.9

Based on the results of this vote, I have added the sentence "Using this move uses up one of the user's available recovery moves in a battle." to all applicable moves.

EDIT: Also Word of Deck says Cursed Body's disabling effect lasts for 6 actions, so I have added that duration to Cursed Body's description.
