Desktop Thread

Title pretty much says it all. I found an old screenshot on my tumblr that I posted a couple of months back and it inspired me to reinstall gnu/linux and have another go and desktop-moddan'. So give me some ideas! :D

I'm going to post mine sometime later after I take a screenshot. Oh and by the way, despite the spoiler, it'll be better if you post a link cause that pic is HUGE.

Edit: Very very boring windows xp....

vim sucks, go emacs
If you want a text editor that's practically an entire operating system, and assuming you have enough ram, then sure, use emacs. The rest of us only expect our text editors to edit text, which is why we use vim.

probably gonna change it soon

Anyone know those DSRL commercials? Y'know, the Oreo ones? I have one of those. I'll let you go through the trouble of finding them, instead of going through the trouble of posting it.

i downloaded a torrent of 100 awesome nature backgrounds and set my background to rotate every minute cause im not a SQUARE

All I have is Luke Guldan posing over a grey background and essential links to my productivity (ie, Photoshop, Firefox, InDesign).

I am assuming that the more items on a desktop=more computer lag. I've noticed considerable startup time differance since deleting a gig of info splaed on my desktop.

Wow, that wallpaper is awesome, could you perhaps share it :$?

edit: the desk of my school computer, didn't pimp this that much

lol, I recognise that wallpaper. It's quite nice.

Huy's desktop is adorable but sad (like Cubone itself). ;_;

And because I just found a bunch of screenshots of my old wallpapers...

I love the art in these. ^_^
