Whoops, didn't realize you went to school in another country. Your curriculum is probably different from that of the US system, so my bad on that one. And it wasn't my intention to belittle your intelligence either. Hell, I didn't pay attention through most of High School lol.
 
What's actually important with stories like this is how it brings into light the appalling state of american discourse on minority issues

whether or not a specific officer was racist doesn't matter nearly as much as how apologists scramble to defend his case and complain about Reverse Racism and prominent scholars Playing The Race Card

Talk about not even trying to back up your position. You say that like its obvious and apparently many people here don't agree with you. And stop calling everyone an "apologist" you make it sound like people defending a police officer are holocaust deniers or something.

My thoughts exactly. Needless to say, this whole issue shouldn't have been more of a local issue, but of course it gets blown up and overhyped.

I don't know why people are still supporting Gates, even considering the fact that the policeman taught anti discrimination classes and was accompanied with a black officer, who supported the decision to arrest Gates
