I understand though all the people in the past 2 pages feel they are irrelevant in current times and want to remind us they still exist but can we move on. I certainly dont give a fuck who was the best in DPP UU. I dont even recognize the guy above me and apparently he is in this current SPL.

But thats what a crappy ass active motherfucker has. He gets those downs and later like a champions gets back up. On the otherhand, when a man quits pokemon hes supposed to get over it, get a life and move on. Like most of the retired people. But when you have nothing to do on the forum and you still get on it really is a saddening story

Edit: the saddest part is that you spend the time you have on the forum bickering with whitequeen.

I won both an official individual and team tournament trophies, so in a way I earned my rights to be proud of my accomplishments. I try as best as I can to remain humble, but sometimes it doesn't quite work. People think I display some aura of superiority, which is false accusations. Whenever I make a public appearance (like smogtours or that rare IRC appearance), I literally have people harassing me for teams (and some annoying ones still harassing me about doing power rankings). It gets irritating to say the least. I try to be responsive, but I find it the best approach to just flat out ignore some people.

I guess I'm one of those "old gens" players even though I'm still top 5 in ORAS OU. I'm generally a nice girl until people can't stop harassing me.

Point being, don't let a few sour apples ruin your experience with old gen games. It's usually unaccomplished people that try to bring other people down to their low level.

Masterclass, if you asked me for a team nicely. I might give you one.

Of all the things to you can say about WhiteQueen, calling his OST win illegitimate is by far one of the stupidest things I've heard. Talk shit about him all you want, but he is one of the most legitimate major tour winners in recent times. In this era where many so-called top players don't build their own stuff and spooky skype calls are rife in tours, he built his own stuff and made his own plays to get that trophy, and deserves major props for that if nothing else.
