dubstep

Is Dubstep going mainstream? I say yes, is it a bad think, idk yet.

Skream & Example - Shot Yourself In The Foot Again

MAINSTREAM =/
What an over dramatic bitch. Why does she get all angsty, because she doesn't know what he's doing? Seems dumb.

As long as we're talking about mainstream music.
Dubba Jonny - All In

As most music becomes more mainstream it becomes lighter. Happened with grunge rock of the 90's that turned into whiny emo music, rap that became lighter hiphop... It'll probably happen with dubstep too.

Yup yup, the music become more 'commercial' which in turn equals more air time on the radio and more money for the artist.

Benga - Night

Dubstep at its roots =D

I do not get the majority of my understanding from Wikipedia, although it usually fares fine when it comes to genres. I actually used Google's define feature too. Either way, I'll probably follow up with some formal research when I'm not occupied with school.

Also:
DUDE IT'S SO GRIMEY DIRTY I AM THROWING UP IT IS THAT DEEP DARK YUUUHHH SO MINT

Day and Night (The Widdler's Dubstep Remix)
I can't stand Kid Cudi but this remix is just too good even if it's one of Kid Cudi's songs.

Feel Good
Modestep starting this year off filthy as can be with "Feel Good" great track to start the year don't you guys agree?

Shot Yourself in the Foot Again
Another filthy track to star off the year right. EDIT:Already posted.

Kickstars
Example always puts out good tracks, and Bar9 remixed this song to it's full potential.

Last Ones Standing
Another Example track and Doctor P made the filthiest remix possible, one of my favorite dubstep tracks.

Thats what im currently listening too.

I think I'm biased against dubstep because all the scene kids who listen to pathetic watered-down metalcore are getting into it.

I liked Nit Grit though.
