Damn. I usually make these way earlier.

Conferences

So far Microsoft's site just leaked the announcement of Halo 4 and Halo CE: Anniversary Edition.

Nintendo should officially reveal Project Cafe. Sony should be giving full details on Vita.

BioWare was spotted at the Microsoft rehearsal. They'll obviously also be a part of the EA conference.

Ubisoft should be completely insane and "oh my god why am I watching this but I can't look away" but to a lesser extent than Konami last year.

Streams on G4, GameSpot, and IGN websites I assume. G4TV will have Nintendo and Sony on TV. Spike will have Microsoft and I think EA on TV. For the stream I usually prefer G4 for the best quality + on-time ratio (IGN used to be delayed, dunno about this year).

Preparing myself for Nintendo's stream tomorrow.

Desperately hoping that Project Cafe isn't going to be some revolutionary bullshit and just a fucking console for once (though I know that will never happen).

Looking forward to seeing a new platformer Mario, Paper Mario, and more information on already announced games and such.

Doubting there will be a new Metroid so soon after Other M, but I'm still holding my breath. I'd like a return to Prime style or something more akin to Super Metroid. Also hoping for a new Smash Bros.

My interest in the other conferences is limited, but I'll still watch Ubisoft and Sonys', most likely.

Gawdeffin.

I'm off today for a doctor's appointment.

I need to be off tomorrow so I can see Nintendo's Conference.

I like how Bungie said they were done with the "main" halo series when they released halo 3 but here we are
Hm? They are. Both these Halo games are by 343 Industries. A new studio set up for Halo development. They have a good amount of staff from Bungie as well as many new employees.

Oh.

But yeah, despite what I said, I'm excited for Halo 4. The gameplay throughout the entire Halo series has been fantastic

I am still holding out for my Wii Starfox game.

Is anyone hyped for Kinect stuff, or is it like me where it's "oh cool I guess I'll try it a few times"?

I am most excited for some of the less popular stuff; I can't wait for more details regarding Metro: Last Light. Provided they fix the issues which were in the previous game (which they said they will) and don't fuck about with actually promoting the game, it could be a hit. Another game I'm waiting for is Serious Sam: BFE. I doubt it will achieve any form of commercial success, kids nowadays are too much into brown shooters to appreciate lighthearted carnage, but it could be one of the better (or at least, most fun) games of this E3.

I imagine Kinect is good or atleast has potential but they just make it look SO BAD. Honestly I didn't think it would last a year.

I would play the hell out of Kinect Star Wars though.

I think I'm done with Playstation.. I might move to Xbox just to relive my dominance in the Halo series. Halo 4? Are you kidding? Yes please.

Why do they keep starting with the boring as hell Modern Warfare series @_@

If you have to put "in the interest of time" 3 years in a row, you need someone new to design your demo

Oh boy I sure do like flailing around to play video games!

Started watching a bit late, so I think I missed some things, but from what I saw Gears of War 3 looks nice. I can see the Disneyland and Sesame Street games being a little kid's wet dream (although the hideous acting during those segments made me cough up part of my breakfast). Halo 4's trailer immediately reminded me of Dead Space 2.

A question I do have is this: how is voice recognition etc. more easy and convenient than pressing a button on a controller?

oh god that was a fucking train wreck

ghost recon looked pretty cool with the gun customization thing
Gears of War, Modern Warfare, and Halo sequels looked great too but I'm defiantly not buying any of them

everything else was laughably bad

Microsoft's conference was ok. It wasn't nearly as awful as last years, but that was pretty much rock bottom. Gears and Ghost Recon looked pretty cool, but I really don't want a Halo 4. I have little confidence in the series without Bungie holding it up.

Why are people bitching about the fact that they focused on the Kinect? Everyone in the world should have been able to predict this. >_>
