After reviewing this thread i've come to several conclusions:

KH3 is just another mediocre jrpg that will take 7 years to come out. It's fanbase are mostly sony lovers anyways, so even if its an exclusive it won't make much of a difference. Ditto FF. another old and overrated mediocre jrpg. There are some other good games, but they are for sony fans anyways.

Sony hasn't won anything. The fact that Microsoft isn't trying to appease its haters doesn't mean it lost.

Hi, i'm in that age range and definitely have money to blow, upwards of 2000$ in my bank account.

But I still want to buy used games and loan games since:

I like saving money. Also, sometimes Gamestop no longer carries a game new but has it used, which makes it way easier to buy it used right then and there. I have friends with similar consoles, and sometimes I won't buy a game if I feel I can just get it loaned from my friend, or we can just play it multiplayer whenever we hang out. Without having to go through whatever BS Microsoft wants us to do, just bring it over and have fun.

I'm sure that at least some of this applies to most people looking to purchase a console.

As for the rest of what you're saying, a huge amount of people hate the Xbox One and it costs 100$ more than the PS4. That's not a guarantee, but it's damn close, eh? As for the games, *shrugs* I think other people will want to buy them too and I don't think they're shit, but who can say?

Anyhow, buying the ps4. Let's hope we can get a new and good Ratchet and Clank.

Edit: Oh yeah, you're right that that doesn't necessarily mean that it has lost. But in this case, it is the very REASON it has lost.

Wut? I'm a 360 user, and a great fan of the system and I can honestly say I won't miss anything apart from Halo. Shit Games ROFL. The only shit I see here are your statements.

Microsoft knows their fans don't know the difference because during the past decade they've been playing via peer-to-peer connections rather than dedicated servers.
 
I don't know whether Dead Rising 3 being an XboxOne exclusive is the one ray of hope for Microsoft, or just another nail in Capcom's coffin. I mean seriously fuck Capcom. Give me my AAI2.

I legitimately cried at the KH3 reveal. I actually cried.

PS4, you have my money. I only ended up buying a PS3 for Sly Cooper 4, anyways. Gonna sell that and get myself a PS4. Sly Coopers better fucking come out via Gaikai. Phil, please support me on this. I will otherwise cry myself to sleep.
 
Hmm, alright.

I've never owned a PS2, or a PS3, or a Vita. I don't care if Sony has won or hasn't won E3.

I do know that they need to win.

This may as well never repeat itself.
 
I can say this is the best E3 we have had in the last 4-5 years.

Any one of the announcements from yesterday would have been capable of headlining the previous E3's but to have all of them together..

Mirror's Edge 2? Seriously? A new Battlefront game? For real? Ubisoft showing off another brand new game completely out of nowhere? The return of Final Fantasy Versus XIII? The PS4 targeting Microsoft's weak spot for massive damage? KH3 reveal? What planet are we living on?

The most awesome part is that the show hasn't even technically begun yet - the doors to the LA Convention Centre don't open until later today - but June 10 is a day gamers are going to remember for a very, very long time. And for all the right reasons.

No more 2 year waits for JRPGs for importers.
 
Although I am not interested in the PS4 (although that may change in the future) I'm really happy for Sony. Microsoft is most likely doomed.

High expectations on Nintendo. Sadly I'll miss it because of lunch D:

It's people like this who are the reason why MS are gonna be able to pull stunts like they have. It's nothing less than insulting for MS to treat it's fanbase as potential criminals with it's DRM and Used Games policies.

But aside from that, I'm super happy that Sony have done as well as they have at this E3, they are really ticking the right boxes and probably winning this "console war". One thing I can't remember, if were mentioned whatsoever, is whether the PS4 is going to be backwards compatible or not? In any case, super looking forward FFXV and KH3 :3. Only other thing that would have made it perfect, is if Atlus revealed/announced Persona 5, oh well can't have everything you want.

I remember when I bought a white PS2 Slim because my release PS2 stopped playing games of a certain disc type instead of a PS3 because I didn't want to lose my memory cards or rebuy games on the PS3, and Spyro 2 was the main game I enjoyed replaying at the time.

I don't remember the last time I turned on my Wii or PS2 honestly so I have no real horse in this race for the newest gen.

However, I will say Microsoft seems sorely out of touch with the dedicated gamer fanbase. Casual gamers who may not be watching E3 or use the internet to the same degree could easily be turned off by the $500 price point (srsly new PS2 slims are down to like $100 or less by now why would I spend $400 more for sequels?), but may not be outraged by the dumb used games regulations and so on that those who do surf the web do. It may seem ridiculous gamers wouldn't be heavy web users but many TV viewers don't use the web to check for spoilers and so on so it's not entirely implausible casual gamers looking at a new console won't be super in depth. And of course, dedicated gamers are pissing acid over the XBOne, while dedicated Xbox fanboys may or may not actually be deterred from the new console. Diehards will stick by it I assume.

No backwards compatibility is still beyond retarded though.
 
does anyone know if there are gonna be archives of the stream, or some good hub or recap where everything happened? it's pretty inconvinient for the Philippines here.
