Gotcha. Here's where I'd say something like "how is this ever supposed to successfully trigger" but we did just see Carrotman's flip so it checks out at this point

i had to jetset the last week, but i'll be arriving home early monday / late today if my flight doesn't end up like the last one

I think Miyami is def doc, I think AirC and Pulsar are the 1v1 on a claim basis. And if thats the case I'm more confident AirC town.

1. Their role sounds really balanced for this game.
2. They've explained their opinions on folks/taken an active stance in solving throughout the game without hiding behind their doc claim.
3. Idk why they'd use their ability on me last night if they were maf. It's not like they needed to pocket me, I was already townreading them. I'd expect if they were maf they'd have used it on Pulsar to keep up the buddy protective roles narrative.
4. I trust claims/info sharing that come at a time when it makes sense. Was Miyami likely to be voted out that phase, yes, at the time of their claim there were 3 people on them, 2 on Peum, and I think 3-4 loose votes, one of which was me on Phoopes. But they also took the opportunity to claim a couple hours in advance before phase change giving ppl enough time to discuss and find a new target. They also didn't rely exclusively on their claim to carry them through, they provided their own thoughts and opinions on who they wanted to vote and followed through on them.

That is why Miyami is my top town read.
 
Ah, and for the second half for Pulsar and AirC. AirC claimed at a time when he could have synergy with another role. If he was mafia he'd have already figured out a way to work together with his own team and wouldn't have been nearly as excited as he sounded yesterday finding Carrotman to work with. Added to the softing on D1 to share information on how the maf kill could potentially work based off information found his role. This was also shared at a relevant time when everyone else was discussing it.

When you compare this to Pulsar, she claimed randomly at the start of D2 to put pressure on another doc claim and dropped that pressure what felt like very soon afterwards when it didn't seem like anyone else was really biting on voting Miyami out. Past that, I don't even remember who else Pulsar has sussed/talked abt. Taking a quick look at their ISO, I don't really see anything sticking out, Jal yesterday actually?, but please correct me if I'm wrong because ISOing on a phone low key sucks.

There are points when Pulsar is talking about other things where I feel she is town, most recently I think was the role list info, which idk that maf would ask for that in thread itself. But I have so much more doubt abt her claim that I feel like I'm just wrapped in tinfoil trying not to scumread her for claiming doc in the first place and ignoring everything else she might be contributing. So, I'm conflicted.

Of the three protective claims we know the most abt I feel like Pulsar has relied on her claim the most to get through the game. Is she someone I would want to vote this phase, probably not, but I am wary of her nonetheless.

If anyone would like me to get into my conspiracy theory pls lemme know, I could probs just tinfoil this entire phase away since I can't contribute in a more meaningful way anyway, but rn I think their are better options to look towards, i.e., none of the people I have mentioned today.
 
Oh, and why I think this is more a 1v1 between Pulsar and AirC.

Much like what folks have been saying abt Miyami (them just being Vote Negator), I'd say the same could be said of Pulsar as well. There's no way to prove Pulsar is Doctor, if we take Pulsar down to what we know she actually has (preventing ppl from being voted during the day, as proved with Miyami's lack of being voted when tested start of this phase) then her claim is more similar to AirCs claim of preventing a day vote elimination on a player.

This is an ability I already find kind of inherently scummy because the likelihood a maf member is gunna be murdered during the night is more unlikely vs being voted during the day, so abilities like that seem much more useful to mafia than town. So, what it really comes down to for me is how it was claimed and why it was claimed, as explained above.

But then it comes down to: Why would scum claim an ability that prevents their buddies from being eliminated during the day when they didn't have to?

And that's where I get into the tinfoil.

Of all the protective claims, Miyami has had the most positive impact on the game, imo. Limiting that to just the timing of and not all the other aspects available for consideration would be silly.

Very clearly I have big feels abt Miyami's slot, I am a Miyami Stan, I'm starting a fan club and you're all invited, if they turn out to actually be mafia I will legit cry

Obviously I think any insinuation that I'm scum with Larry/liquid is ridiculous. I don't cross bus teammates and Realiti actually knows that about me because of EGO mafia. Also the replacement showing up and continuing to take potshots at me just makes it very likely maf knows this is a 1v1 that they need to win. I don't

My reads are still mostly unchanged. Realiti/Jalmont make a huge amount of sense as a team. They are kind of tag-teaming the thread at different times and have not pressured each other at all. I don't see how Realiti is willing to write Jalmont off as town given his bonkers objectively scummy play this game. The aggressive apologizing for missing DL is a classic scumtell. I KNOW hes in another timezone but he is using that as a cover up for having voteparked on a townie and left. Now Jalmont is pivoting to joining Realiti in trying to vote me apparently though he hasn't placed a vote yet.

I think its just Jalmont/Realiti/Larry/???

well you should just vote me out then if you think I’m bussing my teammate here that would probably save the town a lot of time

I’m not really sure what you expect me to do when the deadline is 5am my time, and I was around until about two hours prior when really there was no expectation that it was going to be a bad vote. You on the other hand were literally around to change the vote if you didn’t like it so
 
Actually hold on, are we really not going to talk about what happened with the carrotman vote? Peum is talking about punishing bad town plays and then goes with it like nothing happens? Don't tell me whatever realiti did was a great play for town
