NOC Electoral Mafia - Game thread

i feel like thats kind of silly like. i mean i agree with you that i write not so coherently at times but i woudl argue my post was pretty clear in showing that im a doc that has this additional thing
the previous game though yeah i definitely couldve explained at least the claim better
Ik I said I was gunna look into stuff, but I got home from work and now I'm just kind of zonked and rdy to go to bed. Plus I can't find my laptop so we're gunna do quick phone thoughts and just go to bed.
AngryPidgeon - town-lean, some of their posts bother me but then I read their ISO again and I'm like alright, sounds good to me, genuinely seems to be trying to solve
Miyami - town, Claim seems legit to me, and doc aspect makes their D1 posts make more sense. Mainly how they claimed made the biggest impact. They seemed very confident in what their role is and how it works. Plus the follow-up on who they sussed and why clinched it for me. I wanna see a readslist tho, did you post one today?
DBD - null/scum-lean (?), they've had 0 presence in thread (not 0 posts to clarify). Idk how folks are town-reading them for the forced vote from me considering it followed the initial vote from Realiti start of phase. IG, if the angle is that maf is trying to get them killed, idk why they'd bother picking DBD who was the other wagon from D1. He's gotten more towncred from being voted by me than actually doing anything.
Pulsar - null/scum-lean(???), didn't like the claim, don't know why the claim was made in the first place, makes me feel like they're just trying to capitalize off success Miyami got from their claim. Their role feels OP af, feel like it'd be more useful for maf to have tbh. Also not sure why you're sympathizing with yourself abt ppl not understanding your role claim due to trauma, when I'm like 95% sure the game you're talking about you were mafia in (WikiMafia, iirc?) but thats NAI more than anything. But it feels bad to try and kill a doctor so idk ;;n;; can you do reads or something, all I remember abt you is the doc claim now. Still Miyami sus?
Carrots - null, I don't remember any of their posts, just that Realiti wants to kill them.
Larry - null, the only post I remember is them voting for Peum on D1 due to his first post abt how the NK functioned. Oh, and their funny reaction to AP's list
AirC - town-lean, softing to share information earlier d1 during a relevant topic of discussion felt very towny to me. I don't remember any read you've had aside from your scumread on AP the last 2 days, update?
a fairy - town-lean, what I remember is I thought they were town but I don't remember exactly why, lol. I think their fight with DBD from D1 contributed to it. I'm gunna move them down to town-lean just cause I can't remember exactly why.
Tsuki - town, same reason as AirC, it feels illogical considering I don't think they've made any reads but this is a strong gut read
Jalmont - null/weird/idk, I think their D1 was NAI looking back. I had it town before but it def feels more NAI compared to today. There was one post I saw that I really liked today and was like aha town! But consistent gameplay this time around doesn't feel like any game I've played with them as town so far. I guess I expect more calling folks out/questioning things/holding folks accountable and I haven't seen it as much this time around.
Realiti - town, I like their way of solving :O I do agree they are handing out their town reads like candy but I'm not much better lol. The things I am missing from Jal I am seeing in Realiti. And very forthcoming on reads and whatnot. I have one tinfoil conspiracy abt them but it's probs not worth mentioning
Peum - town, understand their posts, like their posts, have individual thoughts/reads abt game with no regard for how it makes others perceive them.
Ik this probs won't do anything, but just in case this wears off after the first day

The quick phone thoughts took me an hour and now it's well into tomorrow so I am heading to bed after this.
Iirc Miyami said their role makes it so their vote won't be counted. When we tested it, it literally wasn't counted in the official vote counts from Evie. I'm wondering if it's the same for you since the language y'all used is the same.
Part of my issue with your claim is that you idled last phase, which I don't see a town doc doing, which makes me think that y'know maybe you're maf and you didn't idle, you just don't want to put targets on your scumbuds backs if you end up flipping maf with that role. Would make me feel better if we check and everyone still received votes today.

And before I forget by tomorrow (i.e. when I wake up later this morning), if we're thinking that whatever role that hit me that forced my vote onto someone I didn't pick is a Scum role. Then I can't see that role and Miyami's vote negator being on the same mafia team because they seem too similar in functionality. That's another added reason why I think Miyami is more likely town.

AngryPidgeon - I think the more you post the less I SR you overall. I still don't love the precieved shading me from my POV but it makes sense to a degree to play devil's advocate here from the POV of someone who isn't me. I don't think there's a world where he and larry are partners and lock themselves into a death match of sorts this early, either, although this doesn't preclude one of them being scum.
Dead by Daylight - if Pebble's vote being locked into DBD wasn't just the result of Realiti voting DBD as the first vote of d2 that probably tells us something but the actual slot feels so devoid of anything that points to either alignment for me atm. Guy is generally a lowposter but cmon youre better than this
pulsar - I do not see mafia claiming this role in the way she did, I think if she were mafia she'd probably go for the 1v1 a lot harder than she ended up doing. Our roles seem meaningfully different at the moment. Hard to separate her play from her claim since that's most of her play atm
Carrotman - Not a fan of the immediate pity party with a single vote on them but they're new so it's kind of excusable. It still reads wrong to me and the popping in and not doing what they promised does make them look bad the longer it goes on
Larry - in my head he has four posts and two of them are about history but I know there's been a little more than that. I don't know the person yet so I don't know if they're usually like this but active lurking vibes usually read as not town to me
ShyPebble - Strong town, making a good effort to solve and be active and on face I don't think their vote would get stickied if they were mafia? What we're assuming about their vote makes me think the role there is non town since the only purpose that role seems to have would be to make misvotes easier.
(also I think you're stuck on dbd until the next in-game day, not the next irl day?)
AirC - See larry. Active lurking by popping in, maybe voting or making one post about the one guy you're voting and then leaving generally reads as trying to fly under the radar to me, but I'm also aware from past games that AirC Just Does This so I'd sooner trust the opinions of people who can read him a bit better than I can.
a fairy - up there with pebble and realiti for my stronger town reads. From what I remember mafia!af responds to pressure somewhat worse than she did day 1 when people were judging her crashout so I'd probably wager she's town atm
Tsuki - I know you're new but I would like to see you engage with the game outside the scope of what your role can do
Jalmont - Jalmont generally not doing anything of value D1 is pretty normal Jalmont behavior although there's an edge to their d2 posts I can't place. We still don't know why their vote weight is 2 either but Jalmont also may not know that. I would go slight town here.
realiti - top townread atm. Has an aggressive tone and playstyle but has been consistently active, detailed, and logical in a very tough game state so far.
peum - there seems to be a lot going on with his role. I know he vaguely hinted at an investigative but also has an unconfirmed double vote that doesn't show up in the count? And that's before the fruit vendor/election ballot stuff. I think his d1 retroactively makes more sense knowing he was a low prio who was short on time and his d2 has been a lot better.
If I had a vote I would probably vote Carrotman, although AirC/Larry would be options for me for basically the same reason as each other.

ATP i think Shypebble and AF are town. Shypebble mostly due to the intention that i think lies behind a lot of their posts, and i just don't think scum follows the sort of progression that AF did. Their day 1 frustration also feels like it stemmed from a town POV rather than a scum POV

It could be scum trying to get easy towncred, it could be different mechanics than we thought, etc. etc. WIFOM isn't going to progress the gamestate, but i think relying on those types of things for reads in a CS where we still have a lot of unanswered questions is going to be very inconsistent.
