Quantum Tesseract and Akumeoy, what you guys are saying is true. For some reason, I thought Tough Claws gave a x1.5 boost lol.
To make up for my trash sets (Crawdaunt and Alakazam), I have made a gimmicky Alakazam set:
Alakazam @ Pomeg Berry (Truant)
Ability: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 Def
- Psychic
- Focus Blast
- Shadow Ball
- Trick
Alakazam is the fastest Pokemon in the tier with access to Trick, so I thought it would be fun to completely cripple a Pokemon for the rest of the game. A lot of the time, you might lose Zam along with the Pokemon, but pair this with something with Protect and you pretty much have a useless Pokemon on your opponents team. But when you do happen to last another turn, you have a Alakazam with an extra ability, and one that will likely benefit it.
