Favourite game themes?

Hello, here's my favorite games' themes :

Street Fighter Turbo : Hyper Fighting , Guile's Theme and Ryu's Theme :

Guile :

I heard it the first time ~20 years ago on my Super Nintendo, I do prefer the Anniversary version on the Version.
The theme is so catchy and it helped me in the saddest moments of my life ( sounds funny to say that a music helped but that's true).
I love all the remix about this theme and the memes, and I still listen to it ( I'm listenning it right now haha ).
I also love the character's story.
My favorite remix are the ones with : Hokuto No Ken, Epic Sax Guy, Prince of Bel-Air ( I used to listen that remix more than one hour by day ) and the Viking dancer.
And don't forget .... Guile's Theme goes with Everything.

Guile's Theme Snes Version.

Ryu :

Like the Guile's Theme I listenned it for the first time on Snes and I do love this version even if I like the percussion on the CPS version.
I still play Super Smash Bros on Wii U with his stage and theme ( litterally yesterday)
This song is so mistical, and I like to sing it in Japanese , There's a Japanese remix : Arashi Ni Nare wich means Become The Storm and in English too, There's a English remix : Ryu Stage Theme ( with vocals ).
Ryu is always training and improving his skills, he's mysterious, mature and yes, he's stronger than Ken.

Ryu's Theme Snes Version

Golden Sun : Isaac's Theme :

I remember playing it and letting the fight forever just to listen the theme , very catchy.
I always waste some Djinns because there's a tons of Djinns and I didn't have Internet to find them.
And I WA SHOCK ( Get the reference ? ) when I saw that kid drowning :( .
A classic.

Golden Sun Battle Theme Isaac's .

Shenmue :

I love old video games in general and I love Shenmue. From the themes to the story, This game is awesome.
I do prefer the second one because the first one was really slow to start.
I also love the characters and I have all the musics on my phone.
My favorite character are Wuying Ren and Tom ( Hip de Hop music is a classic ).

Shenmue Hip de Hop.

That's all I can think of now.

Man, when I see this thread, I think it's about something actually interesting: narrative themes (or genres) in games but instead it's yet another video game music thread. What a shame.

just gonna slip in my top 5 here :>
Resident Evil 3 - Staff & Credits - This is one of my favorite songs of all time, my favorite VG song, and one of the biggest reasons Resident Evil 3 is my favorite game of all time, a perfect song to end a stressful Last Escape.
Silent Hill 3 - I Want Love(Studio mix) - I could've picked literally any song from the Silent Hill series because Akira Yamaoka is a stunning composer. I wanted to show this one because it didn't make it into the game, and it is imo one of the best showcases of Mary Elizabeth McGlynn's voice. Not Tomorrow gets a special mention because it's the first song I learned on piano. :)
Okami - Enter Waka - Okami is the most gorgeous game I've ever played and you can probably just see why listening to its soundtrack and looking at its art style. The game is absolutely something you should experience if given the chance to.
Nier - Grandma - This was my favorite song of all time for a while. The song is stunningly beautiful with the piano and the french-inspired fake language used in the vocals. Unfortunately I never got a chance to play the actual game to experience it in gameplay
Bayonetta - Red & Black - Bayonetta is a game I never played until last year but it's easily in my top 3 games of all time. Its entire soundtrack is phenomenal but the highlights are Red and Black, One of a Kind, and Sapientia.

I've got way too many favourites, so I'll end up mainly picking the seminal/formative ones for me and a bunch of themes that I don't think anyone else in this thread will ever post.

For reference, this is the video game music I grew up with, and they're still in my favourite OSTs of all time:
Mario Kart 64 OST
Diddy Kong Racing (64) OST
Mario Kart Double Dash OST

oh shoot, I'm dated

I'll split the rest I feel like mentioning into series:

Kirby
After I got into university, I ended up listening to enough catchy (and catchy enough) themes from this series that I figured I've better investigate its OSTs in earnest. Dang straight, I got rewarded. It's probably partially thanks to this series that I listen to video game music so often nowadays. The floodgates open if I try to list my Top 5 (I like to think that I have my Top 5 fixed, but then I find that some other Kirby themes in my Top 10-20 are even funner to sing), so I'll just list my two favourites:
Castle Crashers
Listened to its OST on online tips and (spoiler alert) got hooked on Waterflame as a result. Oh, I also listen to Real Faction's more underrated songs nowadays--Galaxy has one hell of a riff.
Blue Dragon
My siblings played through the entire game and I managed to watch most of that action. These two themes are among my favourite video game themes period (and they're a sign that Nobuo Uematsu still had it in him):
Fire Emblem
This is a bonus round for you guys, and since I haven't listened to a ton of Fire Emblem music, I'm sure this is woefully incomplete. But, here are my favourites I have encountered:
Taiko no Tatsujin
I may as well cap my extra-incomplete list of favourite video game themes with this. I got to play quite a lot of Taiko: Drum Master at my cousin's place along with my siblings, and last time I looked, my cousin passed the game on to the children of another one of my cousins. (And yes, those kids play it.) This medley remix is not only my favourite in the game by a good margin, it's also one of my favourite video game themes period:

I was gonna post some of the Pokemon soundtrack here but you guys already know all of it. I think all the Pokemon games have excellent music to the point where I taught myself to play a lot of the town themes on the piano. There are also a load of great battle ones.

I'll link a bunch of video game soundtracks that I really like that aren't from the Pokemon franchise. Might return to this post later since there's a 15 video limit per post. These games are all pretty old since I haven't really played many games other than Pokemon and FIFA/PES (which are just real songs licensed for the game) in a while.

Castlevania:
All these are pretty much suited for high concentration task-performing. I put these on when I'm studying sometimes.
Can't Wait Until Night / Heart of Fire (and the GBA version)
Retro GBA version
Invitation to a Crazed Moon
Clock Tower

Sonic Adventure 2:
Aquatic Mines. The reason kids today are into lo-fi rap.
Pumpkin (C)Hill. The really paid a rapper to take on the persona of Knuckles the Echidna... The beat's hard though.
City Escape. Reminds me of Green Day
Live and Learn. Early 2000s video game final boss type music in a nutshell

Dragonball Z: The Legacy of Goku 2:
Peaceful Day AKA Android 16 Theme
Training and Focusing. This one's just pretty chill and plays at the beginning of the game.
Best fight theme in the game. Piccolo's Super Namek theme that also doubles as Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 theme.
oml perfection

Chrono Trigger:
Fun fact about all of these. The composer overworked himself so hard with this soundtrack that he got sick from it and someone else had to finish it off for him. The amount of effort put in really goes to show how much he cared.
Chrono's Theme

Wind Scene

Corridors of Time

NieR: Automata is a masterpiece:
the entirety of the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal, probably the best soundtrack of any game ever IMO, every single song is damn great and fitting to what is going on; because of that i feel the songs are even better when heard during the actual game, which everyone should play. that being said, some of my favourites:

this is the track one is going to hear most playing the game & it captures the tone of the game PERFECTLY while never managing to be boring/stale

a boss fight theme this time, just a gorgeous track

this is one of the final tracks of the game(and one of the first ones actually), it's played during an incredibly stressful and long sequence of stuff going on; the energy again, matches up so well with what is going on while still being fantastic as a standalone

honorable mentions go to Copied City and End of the Unkown. you'll notice End of the Unkown is completely different to basically every other track from the game; it's basically a one of thing and that's what makes it even better in my mind(and also heavily aids to the point i was making about every song perfectly fitting what's going on)

there's tons and tons of other amazing songs in the OST, such as Wretched Weaponry, Memories of Dust, Grandma(Destruction) and so many more, i wholly recommend both the game and the OST.

----

total tonal shift with this; another game with a great soundtrack through and through(and also excellent game in itself). again a game where every song perfectly captures what's going on, but this time it's a lot more in the vocals than in the music itself

also all of the songs are from boss fights so i wouldn't really say much more, also partly because saying anything could go into spoiler territory and i do not wanna do that.

honorable mention this time to Red Sun

DMC 3 is one of my favourite games oat(second only to NieR: Automata actually) and this theme is one of my favourite battle themes in gaming. it sums up the game extremely effectively - the frenetic energy of the gameplay with the actually pretty darn good and soft story underneath. its edgy as fuck but god damn it i love it

boss theme, probably the best one in the game for either the best or 2nd best fight in it.

----

honourable mentions:

this game definitely has its issues, but i actually liked it a lot; the combat is pretty okay and the story is hit or miss, but everything else is really quite good if u ask me. the character dynamic is pretty unique & well done, the visuals are beautiful and the music is well, great. some of my favs(although there's a LOT and you should probably check the soundtrack out for urself):

this is a neo-noir indie action platformer and it's one of the SICKEST games i've played; both its visuals and its acoustics are godlike, with nonstop action, a very fun & unique combat system and an actually surprisingly good story(and especially dialogue, the writing is really good). its short but darn sweet a game.
