I knew this would be messed, but then I had to choose between Abomasnow and cryogonal.

So I did it for Gen 1 and never voted for Abra. Yet it ended up 4th. Lapras and Sandslash also somehow ended up in the top 10 and Zapdos beat Ninetales. I think I must have gotten lucky when I did it for all Gens.
 
It doesn't work for me. But instead of using that to find out your favorite Pokémon, isn't a more accurate method you writing down your favorite Pokémon?

First row after Bayleef is somewhat accurate, but everything after Munchlax just got lucky matchups and have no business being there. BS website kept matching Garchomp, Heatran or Bayleef up against my other favorites.

My real top 10, while tentative, would be something like this:

1. Bayleef
1/2. Garchomp [Tied with Bayleef, but I may like Bayleef a little bit more, mainly because it's a unique favorite to have].
3. Reuniclus
4. Heatran
5. Charizard
6. Forretress
7. Charizard
8. Ampharos
9. Tyranitar
10. Munchlax

Delcatty vs Gothitelle (hate both)
Tentacool vs Illumise (ummm.....)
Bidoof vs Mantyke (neither should have ever existed)
Onix vs Shellder (Giggity giggity giggity goo)
Skiploom vs Ledian
Mantyke vs Budew (see previous Mantyke matchup)

Xatu and Druddigon should probably be in there somewhere rather than Stantler and Drifloon. Or Totadile.

EDIT: Radidash should have been on there as well!

Snorunt is pretty cool I guess and so is Dunsparce, but I have no idea where Drilbur came from. Also note that Gyarados came up in every single one of my last 15 or so, so it was dumb luck stuff like Venonat and Hydreigon showed up to before Drilbur.

Pretty decent indication, though I had to choose between Exploud and Zangoose quite early on, and those are my favourites. I also had to vote out Wailord, Snorlax, Arcanine and some more cool ones, but this is still a decent indication. Zangoose for president!
