How exactly? The pitstop? If anything Vettel lost even more time than Webber did. People always make Webber to be some sort of martyr at Red Bull and honestly, it's getting really annoying; perhaps we should take a look at Barrichello and Massa for that example; Webber was never told to move over for Vettel unlike the former 2 and if anything, Webber is just bitter at the way Vettel has outclassed him for 5 seasons already. We all condemn Vettel for Multi-21 but is Webber really any better? Remember Silverstone 2011 and better yet, Interlagos 2012 when he refused to aid Vettel in winning the WDC; he should be glad RBR decided to retain him after these incidents, especially when he has accomplished a lot less than Vettel... oh, need I also mention that he actually had a shot at the WDC (Even better than Vettel) in 2010 but blew it? Massa (At least not with Alonso) and Barrichello never had that chance so enough of making Webber out to be some martyr.

What, because Vettel didn't move over to let him win the race? That would be more insulting if anything, it's like 'I know you can't win on merit so I'm handing this over to you'. Tsk, I get the feeling that if Vettel wasn't a 4x WDC hardly anyone would make such a fuss about it, I know it's natural to support the underdog but let's be rational here.

Nope, but he should have at least scored some points, Lotus hired him for that reason and clearly Kovalainen has disappointed. You can only imagine the rage Valsecchi must be feeling, he should leave Lotus since they obviously don't care about him; Lotus might as well have not hired anyone for the last 2 races.

Both Massa and Hamilton received rather controversial penalties so in the end I doubt it affected the Ferrari/Mercedes duel.

I don't see how Hamilton's penalty was in any way controversial. Protip: if there's a driver alongside you, don't just turn into him. Hamilton's fault for not checking his mirrors.

True, but Bottas was a lap behind and in the first place Bottas shouldn't be racing Hamilton because of that. Hamilton could have certainly done more to avoid the collision, but he was not completely at fault and IMO didn't deserve the penalty. On the other hand, although I don't think Massa should have gotten a penalty, he was already repeatedly warned about crossing the white line so yeah, he paid the price for it. Ferrari should really stop complaining about how the penalty costed them 2nd because Mercedes too got a penalty, and a rather unjust one IMO.

Oh god from what I heard Hulkenberg will return to Force India or stay at Sauber... just how long will he have to prostitute his talents in mid-field teams? F1 is in a rather sorry state now due to all this financial issues :/ When I think about it, the way he makes the most out of mid-field machinery is VERY reminiscent of Vettel's season with Toro Rosso in 2008, with the only difference being that Vettel was able to win when the opportunity presented himself whereas Hulkenberg most unfortunately spun onto Hamilton at Interlagos 2012, although it was still very impressive. Really, if Hulkenberg were in Vettel's place back in that Toro Rosso we might be seeing him as the 4x WDC b

Yeah cos unlapping yourself is completely illegal, even when you have the pace to do so. I mean its not like we saw multiple cars unlap themselves in the race with no problems...

Like I said, Hamilton could have done more to avoid the collision but there are quite a number of mitigating factors and thus he is not totally at fault. But basically, the whole point is that Ferrari don't really have the right to complain about a penalty costing them 2nd as not only was Massa repeatedly warned about that white line, but also because Hamilton too got a penalty >_>
