Hey there! We currently aren't in submission phase quite yet, however it could be announced later. We're currently talking about the dropped Pokemon, so feel free to discuss about them.

Submissions can now begin! But before that, some buffs and one nerf from the council:

:weezing-galar::guzzlord:
Weezlord no longer has an Unaware effect. Instead, it now has cpmponent effects of Beast Boost and Neutralizing Gas.

:groudon::plusle:
Grousle gets a shift in its bonus stats, moving 10 Special Defense points onto Speed. Its new stat spread is 90 / 100 / 90 / 110 / 84 / 102. It was a bit too slow for what it was trying to do and did not benefit all that much from having high special bulk.

:slowbro-galar::ferrothorn:
Thornbro's ability now also activates when it switches into a super-effective move. It simply rarely activated before and this should allow the Thornbro player to have at least some control over the healing.

:donphan::pangoro:
Dongoro's ability now simply has the component effects of Mold Breaker and Sturdy. This partiall comes from coding complications with its current ability, but now allows it to set Stealth Rock on most of our Magic Bouncers and Eatthquake on our Levitate mons.

:zamazenta-crowned::igglybuff:
Igglyzenta now gets a stat reshuffle to 111 / 100 / 80 / 60 / 82 / 71, and its ability, alongside having the effects of Friend Guard and Dauntless Shield, now also boosts Sp Def by one stage on switch-in.

With that all out of the way, submissions may begin

Technician Flip Turn
:swsh/kabutops::swsh/scyther:
DNA Donors: Kabutops / Scyther
Fusion Name: Kabuther
New Types:

Base Stats: 72 / 115 / 92 / 60 / 92 / 105 [BST: 536] (+7 HP / +3 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +17 SpD / +13 Spe)
New Ability: Battle Tech = (Battle Armor + Technician)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Aqua Jet, Flip Turn, Dual Wingbeat, Knock Off, Rock Tomb, Superpower…
None…
Swords Dance, Roost…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Choice Band
Role Justification: Using a combination of Swords Dance and Technician boosted Aqua Jet & Dual Wingbeat, Kabuther can reliably hit a lot of things, and this is excluding other coverage options. Choice Band sets can use Technician boosted Flip Turn for pivoting purposes. However, the weakness to Stealth Rocks makes the Choice Band set less potent, while the Swords Dance set can just use Roost for recovery.

New Ability: Root Surge = (Sturdy + Grassy Surge)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Grassy Glide, Steel Roller, Knock Off, U Turn, Wood Hammer, High Horsepower, Head Smash…
None…
Swords Dance…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Choice Band, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: The Swords Dance set functions like Rillaboom with the Steel type and more coverage. The Choice Band set can choose to run Steel Roller to hit something REALLY hard, but afterwards it's a sitting duck that needs to be switched out. Finally, a set utilising Grassy Glide, Steel Roller, and U Turn in quick succession can work as an offensive pivot, and will always set its terrain upon switching back in.

Aggrokey-Mega
New Types:

Base Stats:
70 / 145 / 175 / 64 / 90 / 70
New Ability: Filter
This one's pretty weird to be honest. Much more defensively oriented with Filter and losing the Grass type. This can be combined with the free Leftovers from the terrain? I suppose it's just a better Mega Aggron

New Ability: Upload = (Motor Drive + Download)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
U Turn, Knock Off, Extreme Speed, Leech Life, Wild Charge, Nuzzle…
Volt Switch, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Bug Buzz, Flamethrower…
Shift Gear…
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper (Shift Gear)
Role Justification: Using Download, Emolsect can run a mixed set with U Turn and Volt Switch. It can gain Speed through Motor Drive as well. However, it is weak to Stealth Rocks, which dampens its abilities as an offensive pivot. Alternatively, a Shift Gear set can be run to surprise opponents expecting a pivoting move, and then sweep from there using its physical movepool. It's pretty versatile.

New Ability: Synthetic Fists = (Iron Fist + Chlorophyll)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Flare Blitz, Gunk Shot, Thunder Punch, Knock Off, Close Combat, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Power Whip, Sucker Punch…
Fire Blast, Sludge Bomb, Solar Beam…
Swords Dance, Nasty Plot…
Intended Role: Sun Abuser (Chlorophyll), Setup Sweeper (Nasty Plot/Swords Dance)
Role Justification: With Chlorophyll, it can outspeed almost anything under Sun, and set up with either Nasty Plot or Swords Dance. Iron Fist makes its Thunder Punch stronger to hit Water types harder. Even without Sun, it can be a potent Setup Sweeper, especially with its large Physical movepool.
JavaScript:

New Ability: Rattled Armor = (Prism Armor + Rattled)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Play Rough, Photon Geyser, Outrage, Sunsteel Strike, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Knock Off, Superpower…
None…
Swords Dance, Dragon Dance, Morning Sun…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Dragon Dance/Swords Dance)
Role Justification: People have wanted a Knock Off Absorber for quite a while now, and the common approach is to have something with a 4x resistance to Dark or Sticky Hold. This is different though, as it abuses Rattled to get +1 Speed from Knock Off, and since Depleted Ultranecrozium Z can't be knocked off, it only has 65 BP. As a bonus, it works on U Turn too. Swords Dance and Dragon Dance can be used to set up and then Ultra Burst.

New Ability: Jaw of the Law = (Strong Jaw + Stakeout)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Jaw Lock, Head Smash, Earthquake, Liquidation, Superpower, Poison Jab, Sucker Punch, U Turn…
None…
Swords Dance, Parting Shot…
Intended Role: Wallbreaker
Role Justification: This thing can put a lot of mental pressure on the opponent. After it comes in on a favorable matchup, it threatens to trap the opposing Pokemon with STAB Strong Jaw-boosted Jaw Lock, and then set up Swords Dance. However, Jaw Lock also traps the user. Knowing this, the opponent might want to switch out to a counter. This is where Stakeout comes in. By predicting a switch and going for another move instead, Dredvul can deal a huge amount of damage to the counter. It can also go for Parting Shot to switch into something that deals with the now-weakened counter. Finally, it has Sucker Punch for the classic mind games. It's pretty fun.

:swsh/alakazam::swsh/steelix:
DNA Donors: Alakazam / Steelix
Fusion Name: Alakalix
New Types: Psychic/Steel
Base Stats: 73 / 69 / 122 / 95 / 90 / 95 [BST: 544] (+8 HP / +2 Atk / +0 Def / +0 SpA / +10 SpD / +20 Spe)
New Ability: Mystic Crystal = (Magic Guard + Sheer Force)
Ability Description: Effects of both.
Notable Moves:

Psychic, Steel Beam (only as base), Flash Cannon (only if mega), Dazzling Gleam, Dark Pulse, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Focus Blast
Calm Mind, Recover, Substitute
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Physical Wall, Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind), Psychic Terrain Abuser
Role Justification: Even alakazam’s defense stat can’t hold steelix’s insane defense capabilities that far down. This also gets a hilarious move called steel beam that I will preemptively apologize for. Potential to set up on hazard/status-reliant mons with a decent amount of coverage.

New Ability: Sand Force = (Magic Guard + Sheer Force)
Notable Moves: See Above +
Zen Headbutt, Iron Head, Ice Punch, Earthquake, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Thunder Punch

Intended Role: See above + Special Wall + Physical Wallbreaker (so basically mixed Wallbreaker and wall) + Sandstorm Abuser
Role Justification: The boost from Steelixite brings increased stats to both defenses as well as a major attack boost, rendering the two attack stats nearly equal. This allows for a mixed moveset that involves slightly better coverage (specifically ice moves) at the cost of a situational ability. The mega ability this gets however, is simply bad enough that this form is not as good as the base form, even with the new stats.

Ability Description: Effects of both
Notable Moves:

Swords Dance, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Offensive Pivot.
Role Justification: Technician on stab moves, setup is self explanatory, U-turn’s U-Turn. This mon was designed to be the bane of all ground types (all my homies hate glidol), and it’s faster than most mons so can pivot out from a potential rock move.

New Ability: Will Breaker = (Mold Breaker + Intimidate)
Ability Description: Effects of both
Notable Moves:
Flare Blitz, Earthquake, Rapid Spin, Extreme Speed, Wild Charge

Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Will-O-Wisp, Substitute, Teleport
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Physical Wall, Hazard Control (Rapid Spin), Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: First off, it’s a fire mon that counters fire resistant abilities like heatki. Yes it’s also ground but mold breaker brings the safety of using a fire move without fearing not doing damage. This also seems to do surprisingly wel as a physical wall, with Will-O-Wisp, Substitute, and Intimidate, the last two of which work well for setup sweeping with swords dance. It’s able to set stealth rocks and clear it’s own hazards while getting a good speed boost with rapid spin. It manages to have decent water coverage with Wild Charge as well. Also there’s port ig.

Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Sludge Bomb, Dazzling Gleam, Focus Blast, Dark Pulse, Energy Ball
Nasty Plot, Substitute, Defog
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Nasty Plot), Stallbreaker, Hazard Control (Defog), Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: I’ve done it: the ultimate infiltrator. Damage boost when screens or subs are set up with the ability to clear hazards like rocks and webs with defog. Could kick weezlord while it’s down with type advantage and ability too. This can also set up Nasty Plots and possibly hide behind subs while doing it. Of course, U-Turn’s U-Turn. Just as a note, I completely understand if the name must be changed, but it would be funny to have the name remain like this as it adheres to the rest of the naming rules.

Ability Description: Effects of solar power and storm drain
Notable Moves:

Thunderbolt, Thunder*, Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Solar Beam**, Ice Beam, Scorching Sands
Defog
* = Rain Sets/Counters
** = Sun Sets
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Offensive Pivot, Sun Abuser, Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: I made this in an attempt to make an offensive counter to Kyottler. Starting with electric moves and going down the line, thunderbolt serves to directly counter kyottler in sun teams, and if you can’t set up sun, you can use Thunder instead. You also have the opportunity to pivot out with Volt Switch. Flamethrower and Fire Blast are merely used to provide more STAB and benefit from the sun boost. Solar Beam can also be used (of course for sun teams) to counter not only water, but also ground and rock mons. Ice Beam serves as a ground counter outside of sun sets, threatens glidol, and is good for coverage against dragons, which this mon could get walled by. Scorching Sands could be used to counter rock mons. The ability renders this mon boosted by sun and immune to water, which allows it to pivot into rain abusers and get a boost out of it. Finally, there’s defog. For your sake and mine, I won’t go over what that does. Now we go to the megas.

See Base + Swords Dance, Dragon Dance
Intended Role: Mixed Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance, Dragon Dance), Offensive Pivot, Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: Well I explained about half of it above, but as for the rest, you really just have another set of coverage. Unlike the base or other mega, this mon gets setups with Swords Dance and Dragon Dance. Not much else changes, but this seems decent.

Intended Role: Sun Abuser, Special Wallbreaker, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: THE sun sweeper. rock makes it not weak to fire and also gives it a stab to hit mesflame and kyottler with which is pretty awesome. also p hard to check when its boosted esp since it hits like both viable other weather setters se which incentivizes sun (leafdon oof) a little more.

New Ability: Offload = (Hydration + Synchronize)
Ability Description: If another Pokemon burns/poisons/paralyzes this Pokemon, it also gets that status.
cures status at the end of each turn if burned, poisoned or paralyzed.
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off
… Psychic, Psyshock, Moonblast, Dragon Pulse, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Mystical Fire
… Life Dew, Calm Mind, Wish, Protect, Trick, Healing Wish, Teleport
Intended Role: Special Wall / Bulky Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind) / Defensive Pivot (Teleport, Wish, Life Dew)
Role Justification: this is a bulky setup sweeper that sets itself apart from the like of Kokovoir due to its relatively niche typing and bulkier stat spread. it has moderate recovery via Life Dew and WishTect, and can Teleport other allies in safely. having status transferred to the opponent via its ability means it can switch into things like Will-o-wisp and Toxic, and it being removed at he end of the turn means it doesn't take massive poison damage from Toxic either. Sleep, however, can and will last, and won't transfer to the opponent, so be cautious of that. the downside is that it's fairly slow, and recovery is slow at best, so it is prone to getting worn down over time.

New Ability: Beast Absorb = (Volt Absorb + Beast Boost)
Ability Description: boosts the pokemon's highest stat by one stage when hit by an Electric move; Electric immunity.
Notable Moves:
… Bolt Beak, Acrobatics, Earthquake, Icicle Crash
… Air Slash, Dishcharge, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Hydro Pump
… Autonomize, Substitute, Leech Seed, Toxic, Protect
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Autonomize), Mixed Wall
Role Justification: we got Dracodoom, so i think it's time to give its lesser used cousin a chance. Arctosteela is a bulky attacker that can set up via autonomize. while this may be cause for concern, as it does get Bolt Beak, it is very slow, so it may take 2 or more uses before it outspeeds everything, and has no way of boosting offensive stats outside of its ability. good mixed offenses means it can run both physical and special sets, and access to Leech Seed and Substitute means it can run a bulky set if you desire. however, it isn't immune to Toxic or Will-o-wisp which puts a huge dent in its damage output physically, so watch out, and unless it's running Earthquake, bulky steels like Brontun should be able to handle it. it's also weak to Stealth Rocks, so boots become a must.

New Ability: Gooey Eyes = (Compound Eyes + Gooey)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:

…Thunder, Draco Meteor, Giga Drain, Electroweb, Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Hydro Pump
…Sticky Web, Thunder Wave, Toxic
Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Sticky Web), Choice Specs
Role Justification: we actually don't have a dedicated web setter, (aside from webs kyottler) so I decided to make one. It's basically just bulkier galvantula. It has a decent (and unique) defensive typing, and the added bulk from goodra means it can switch into a few hits rather than just being a suicide lead.
This also benefits from the accuracy boost from its ability alongside Goodra's expansive special movepool, allowing it to run the likes of Focus Blast, Hydro Pump and Fire Blast without much fear of missing, allowing for a potential Specs set.
However, this lacks reliable recovery, and so can be worn down over the course of a match, but its high speed ensures that webs will be set up, provided magic bounce isn't in the way.

New Ability: Adaptable Boost = (Adaptability + Beast Boost)
Ability Description: STAB moves raise the user's highest stat by one stage.
Notable Moves:
… Rapid Spin, Close Combat, U-turn, Double-Edge, Throat Chop
… Hyper Voice, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Bug Buzz
…Quiver Dance
Intended Role: Choice Band/Scarf, Offensive Pivot,
Role Justification: this pokemon is a glass cannon that can snowball very quickly due to its ability. Rapid Spin turns into Dragon Dance if attack is its highest stat, allowing it to simultaneously remove hazards. a Band or Scarf set can also be run due to its high speed, making it a good revenge killer, and access to U-turn also makes it a good pivot.
on the other hand, it is incredibly frail, and so if it doesn't KO its target it will likely get KOed in return. also, Ghosts tend to wall it quite hard unless you have something like Throat Chop for physical sets or Shadow Ball for special sets, which could theoretically be run, but is advised against.
however, due to its typing you may also wanna run boots to avoid rocks chip unless you're confident in hazard removal.

New Ability: Sandy Guts = (Guts + Sand Veil)
Ability Description: If Sandstorm is active, this Pokemon's Attack stat is 1.5x; Immune to Sandstorm.
Notable Moves:
…Flare Blitz, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Superpower, Rapid Spin
…no
… Stealth Rock, Spikes, Swords Dance
Intended Role: Choice Scarf/Band, Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Sand Abuser
Role Justification: we needed a Fire type that beats defensive Fires, so here's one to consider. under sand, this gets a big boost to attack, meaning Flare Blitz hits like a truck. Earthquake and/or Superpower threatens things that resist or are immune to fire, like Brontun and Heatki, and it can set up with Swords Dance provided you aren't running a choice item if the opponent chooses to be passive. you could also run spikes/rocks to provide utility, or spin to remove hazards.
however, this isn't the fastest thing out there. lots of Pokemon outspeed and threaten it, most notably Glidol, who threatens with Earthquake.

Mega Aggroboar switches the narrative from offensive powerhouse to defensive behemoth, thanks to its excellent pure Steel typing and 110/172/82 bulk in conjunction with Filter. Stall and Balance alike will certainly find use for this Pokémon.

Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:

Fire Blast, Weather Ball, Flamethrower, Hurricane, Solar Beam, Scorching Sands, Focus Blast, Overheat
Roost, Defog
Intended Role: Weather Abuser
Role Justification: Altarizard serves the same role its parent does in standard, serve as a strong wallbreaker for its teams. It may not hit as hard, but its increased bulk gives it more staying power. Not being limited to sun (though its its best weather by a mile) is also very interesting to explore.

New Types:

Base Stats: 80 / 101 / 84 / 150 / 135 / 101 [BST: 651]

Mega Altarizard Y dedicates itself to Sun breaking and does a great job of that. It essentially plays as a weaker, yet bulkier Mega Charizard Y.

New Ability: Royal Guard = (Magic Guard + Justified)
Ability Description: Effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Knock Off
Focus Blast, Future Sight, Psychic, Psyshock, Shadow Ball, Stored Power, Volt Switch
Acid Armor, Calm Mind, Recover, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Thunder Wave, Toxic, Trick Room
Intended Role: Bulky Setup, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter, Stallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Cobaclus aims to make use od Magic Guard both offensively and defensively. Its spatk stat is high and can be boosted by Life Orb to make it into a threatening wallbreaker that doesn't fear chip damage and has some longevity thanks to Recover. It can also be more defensively-oriented thanks to its solid bulk, Recover and, once again, Magic Guard. Utility options like Volt Switch and Stealth Rock also help defensive sets a lot. It can also run fearsome setup sets with Calm Mind thanks to its immunity to Toxic damage which makes it difficult to stop without a strong physical attacker. Overall, Cobaclus is a versatile user of Magic Guard.

Ability Description: Bullet and Bomb moves have 1.5x base power.
Notable Moves:

Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb
Sleep Powder, Spikes, Taunt
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Boosted stabs+Focus Blast and Shadow Ball make Rosenaught difficult to wall. While its stab moves don't have great coverage, Focus Blast can hit steel types that can annoy it and Shadow Ball gets rid of specific pokemon that deal with stabs+Focus Blast such as Cofazor or Tentoxys-Defense. It can also be annoying with Sleep Powder, Taunt or Spikes which reduces its coverage options but can give it more depth than "Hit hard".

Ability Description: Effect of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Flip Turn, Knock Off, Liquidation, Plasma Fists, Rapid Spin
Scald?
Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Taunt, Toxic
Intended Role: Suicide Lead, Offensive Pivot, Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Kabuora is fast and has a lot of utility with Rapid Spin, Knock Off, Taunt, Stealth Rock and Flip Turn making it a nice support pivot. It can also be a good suicide lead thanks to its good speed, Rocks and Taunt. It can also be a setup sweeper thanks to Swords Dance and good offensive stats. It can't really touch grass types but it can still use Toxic, Knock Off or Flip Turn against them, crippling them or gaining momentum. Outside of that, you can expect it to do a lot of Zeraora stuff as a fast supportive pivot.

New Ability: Aroma Spore = (Aroma Veil + Effect Spore)
Ability Description: Combined effects
Notable Moves:
… Moonblast, Sludge Bomb, Mystical Fire, Psyshock, Psychic
… Aromatherapy, Recover, Strength Sap, Calm Mind, Corrosive Gas, Leech Seed, Sleep Powder
Intended Role: special wall, mixed wall, cleric, calm mind breaker
Role Justification: Fairy/Poison is an amazing defensive typing and Vilecremie takes full advantage of it. Aroma Veil protects it from most methods of stopping its walling abilities, and Effect Spore punishes contact moves. Effect Spore and Strength Sap do surprisingly well against physical breakers. Corrosive Gas removes items and rounds out this set's utility. It can also be a cool CM breaker due to its Fire coverage for our many steels. Just watch out for Heatki.

Ability Description: If this Pokemon is holding an item, its Atk/SpA are halved.
Notable Moves:
… Acrobatics, Leaf Blade, Stone Edge, Earthquake, U-Turn, Knock Off
… Meteor Beam, Air Slash, Energy Ball, Focus Blast, Heat Wave
… Swords Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock, Dragon Dance
Intended Role: physical wallbreaker (SD, Dragon Dance), offensive pivot, stealth rock
Role Justification: Statspread really doesn't need much explaining. It's entirely based around sweeping with Acrobatics. Works quite well with Kokovoir or Kingdeedee and a terrain seed to get it going. Alternatively, you can go for a Meteor Beam set with Power Herb. Or just have fun with Tapu Lop.

… Swords Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock, Dragon Dance
Intended Role: physical wallbreaker (SD, Dragon Dance), offensive pivot, stealth rock
Role Justification: The spread looks insane so it might be bannable, but I think it's actually somewhat borderline as its stuck with weak and imperfect flying STAB, and it lacks the options to go special

New Ability: Magitate = (Magic Guard + Levitate)
Ability Description: Combined effects
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off
… Volt Switch, Flameththrower, Fire Blast, Moonblast, Thunderbolt, Focus Blast, Ice Beam
… Softboiled, Stealth Rock, Defog, Teleport, Wish, Nasty Plot, Will-o-Wisp, Trick, Calm Mind
Intended Role: pretty much anything Hazards (Stealth Rock, Defog), Wishpassing, Defensive pivot, special breaker (Calm Mind, Nasty Plot), Choice Specs/Scarf
Role Justification: It's everyone's favourite OU mon, Landorus-T CLEFABLE! You know what it does. Its new access to Volt Switch and Defog make its utility sets more potent, and its offensive sets get more juice through Nasty Plot. In comparison to our other fires (Mesflame, Arctres), this has the worst speed tier and the worst raw bulk on both sides, but, as we know with Clef, Magic Guard skews things. This comparison should indicate that it's not going to be problematic because I see this being unpopular just because it's Clefable. I think the meta would benefit from a glue mon and I think this would be a healthy thing for us all.

Ability Description: Immune to Electric. On switch-in, lowers foe's Atk one stage and restores 25% of user's HP.
Notable Moves:
… Knock Off, U-Turn
… Thunderbolt, Surf, Ice Beam, Sludge Wave, Focus Blast, Psychic, Volt Switch
… Spikes, Defog, Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Offensive pivot, special breaker (Nasty Plot), Hazards (Spikes, Defog)
Role Justification: Taking on Zeus' legacy from FE alpha, Thundurfish is an interesting defensive pivot due to its psuedo regenerator effect in its ability while also combining it with the ease of entry from Intimidate. This compensates for its lack of recovery options. It can be another offensive spiker, or a fearsome NP breaker with a wide array of coverage options.

New Ability: From Beyond = (Perish Body + Psychic Surge)
Ability Description: The user's Psychic-Type moves take effect 3 turns after being used.
Clarification for Ability: This ability functions similarly to Future Sight, but delayed by 3 turns instead of 2. Future Sight takes 5 turns total to deal its damage with this ability.
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
Shadow Ball, Burning Jealousy, Ice Beam, Hydro Pump, Earth Power, Psychic, Moonblast, Psyshock, Focus Blast, Future Sight
Gravity, Calm Mind, Amnesia, Taunt, Gravity, Psychic Terrain, Wonder Room, Rest, Skill Swap, Speed Swap
Intended Role: Gimmicky utility mon and wallbreaker
Role Justification: A support mon with a unique way of allowing its teammates to abuse its status moves to their fullest.
- Calm Mind or Amnesia allowing another mon to set up indirectly
- Gravity and Psychic Terrain and Wonder Room setting a delayed field effect for abusers to have full turns
- Skill Swap shenanigans
- Speed Swap shenanigans

Glare, Rock Polish, Curse
Intended Role: Physical Setup Sweeper/Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Druk-Alola uses its ability to deal additional chip damage to its targets, making it effective at dealing with walls that have good bulk but lack recovery. It uses its Poison moves to hit the Fairy-types that hit it SE, and can use Glare for status spreading and speed control.

Ability: Solar Boiler = Dry Skin + Steam Engine
Ability Description: This Pokemon is immune to Water and Fire-type attacks and heals 25% when hit by one, heals 12.5% per turn in Rain, and has 4x Speed in Sun.

Viable Moves:
- Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Knock Off, Leech Life, Stone Edge
- Nah
- Spore, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Synthesis

Roles: Sun Abuser, Bulky Attacker

This is just a wacky sun abuser that, despite its incredibly low base speed, doesn’t need to invest much or at all in order to outspeed most of the meta in sun. This means that it can invest fully into its attack and save some evs for its bulk which, combined with its ability protecting it from Water moves, allows this thing to switch in well on Kyottler, especially on the Pulses and Ice Beams directed at Leafdon. Its main set is probably 3 attacks + SD but it has Spore and SR up its sleeve as well, making for an unusually versatile sun mon. The big downside to all of this is how much of a chip magnet it is, with its Rock weakness all but forcing it to run boots and its best STAB option dealing recoil damage.

Viable Moves:

- Dark Pulse, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Giga Drain, Hurricane, Ice Beam
- Substitute, Quiver Dance

Role: Setup Sweeper

This is a mon I stumbled into in my quest to recreate Kelven, though tbh it feels more like a combination of elements from all three of the Restrictions temperature mons. There are some real Volcarona vibes on this one, and while it doesn’t have as much bulk or Roost to set up, it can start snowballing out of control real quick if it sets up at the right time. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it really struggles to break bulky Fires, especially Arctres, and it also gets stonewalled by Brontun.

Roles: Defensive Pivot, Bulky Attacker, Setup Sweeper, Wall, Status Absorber, Hazard Control

A fat fire that manages to stand out from both of our existing fat fires by virtue of Magic Guard. This one’s super versatile in a Clefable kind of way, with options ranging from completely defensive to offensive Life Orb abuse, and a typing that is excellent both defensively and offensively. It also paves the way for some really fun doubles strats thanks to Dancer, especially if we get a QD mon, though otherwise that part of the ability isn’t doing much.

Ability Description: Reckless effects. If this Pokemon would faint due to (non-struggle) recoil or crash damage, it will instead survive with 1 HP.

Viable Moves:
- Earthquake, Flare Blitz, Head Smash, Knock Off, Sucker Punch, Superpower
- Don’t
- Shell Smash, Spikes, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance

Roles: Physical Wallbreaker, Trick Room Abuser

And finally we have a resub of the world’s funniest recoil spammer. This thing hits like a truck with its Head Smashes and Flare Blitzes but crumples on impact, quickly dragging itself down to 1hp and making for an extremely easy revenge kill. It brings in a much-appreciated slow breaker, which is especially nice for Trick Room, an archetype that has some insane setters right now but no proper abusers. Anyways, it’s Crustboar, we’ve all seen it and we all love it. Except Bob.

Relevant Moves:
- Rapid Spin
- Eruption, Fire Blast, Meteor Beam, Earth Power, Ancient Power, Scald, Focus Blast
- Stealth Rock, Spikes
Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker, Choice Scarf/Specs, Hazard Setter (SR, Spikes), Hazard Control (Rapid Spin)
Role Justification: Typhlossal adds another rock type Special Attacker to the meta, alongside Noze. Both Typhlossal and Noze have different ways to beat the steels that threaten rock type Special attackers. While Noze uses its bulk and ability to take hits, Typhlossal uses its Fire STAB to melt through them. One of Typhlossal's most powerful aspects is its great special movepool, including the powerful Eruption and Meteor Beam. However, these two moves cannot be used at the same time, as Eruption wants an item like Choice Scarf, and Meteor Beam requires Power Herb. It also has access to Hazards & Hazard Control. Typhlossal's main weakness is it's defensive typing, which leaves it 4x weak to Water and Ground type attacks, so pokemon like Landmaldo, Grousle, and Kingtsar can handle it. Also, like most other offensive Fires, it's STABs are hardwalled by Brontun.

- Liquidation, Brave Bird, Earthquake, Fire Fang, Stone Edge, Aqua Jet
-
- Dragon Dance, Defog, Roost
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Dragon Dance), Choice (Band/Scarf), Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: A very powerful wallbreaker. Despite only having 111 base attack, Pecking Order basically gives Swannamence temporary Intrepid Sword, which allows it to click one of its STABs to great effect. Due to it being a drop on the opponent, rather than a self boost, this ability cannot be blocked by Unaware pokemon like Volquag. Its Speed tier allows it to outspeed pokemon like Noicity and the improved Pigapult. Its coverage pool is small but effective for hitting resistances, with dual STABs + Earthquake being extra effective. Its main answers will be Weezlord-Galar with Lemegeton, and base Corveot with Big Pressure, which are not affected by its ability. Jelliswine is annoying because of the Water resistance, but it can be beaten by Flying type attacks.

Ability Description: Combined effects.
Notable Moves:
Knock Off…
Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Grass Knot, Moonblast, Scald, Surf,…
Aromatherapy, Calm Mind, Toxic, Soft-Boiled…
Intended Role: Defensive Pivot (Teleport), Cleric (Aromatherapy/Heal Bell), Special Wall (Toxic), Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind), Hazards (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Defog)
Role Justification: Fairy/Steel is an incredible defensive typing, and the Clefairy line has access to great coverage and has many versatile options. This in turn allows Clefairleon to utilize a wide variety of sets and can fill many roles on a team. Access to Teleport + Wish allows it to pivot around opponents and ensures it's teammates can come onto the field safely and with a health boost. It can act as a Cleric, with access to Aromatherapy or Heal Bell, and with it's decent Special Defense can allow it to switch in on many threats and can safely wall a large amount of Pokemon cleanly and proceed to either cripple faster mons via Thunder Wave, cripple physical threats via Scald Burn, or conversely can wear them down and other threats via Toxic. It can also be used as a Setup Sweeper, as Calm Mind turns it's paltry Offensive stats into respectable levels after a boost. It can set it's own Hazards and can be a decent lead with Stealth Rock. It can also be used as Hazard Control through Defog as it is also unaffected by hazards itself with it's ability.

For how versatile it is, it is not perfect. Fire and Ground type moves threaten to 2HKO or even OHKO it, considering it's low BST combined with it's even lower speed. It's also setup fodder for offensive mons, as Clefairleon lacks enough direct power to threaten them, though it can cripple physical mons with a Scald Burn chance.

Base Stats: 65 / 70 / 105 / 80 / 92 / 57 [BST: 469] (+0 HP / +0 Atk / +0 Def / +18 SpA / +20 SpD / +2 Spe)
New Ability: Armor Download = (Weak Armor + Download)
Ability Description: On switch-in, raises Def or Sp.Def by 1 stage based on the foe's stronger attack.
Notable Moves:
Body Press…
Flash Cannon…
Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Roost, Recover, Defog, Teleport, Trick Room…
Intended Role: Defensive Wall (Toxic), Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance/Curse), Defensive Pivot (Teleport), Hazards (Spikes/Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Defog),
Role Justification: Porymory's typing in conjunction with it's ability allows it to switch in on many offensive threats in the meta. It can proceed to cripple them or chip them down through Toxic, or Body Press or Flash Cannon. Italso acts as a good defensive pivot, as Teleport guarantees it's teammates safe entry onto the field, which is invaluable. It can set it's own Hazards with Spikes or Stealth Rock, and with Defog it can act as it's own Hazard Control. It can even use Whirlwind or Roar to take advantage of it's hazards to cripple opposing mons.

Porymory's biggest weakness is Fighting type moves. Even after a boost from Armor Download, it will most likely fall to any strong Fighting type attack. Another problem with Porymory is that it's lackluster power leaves it vulnerable to being setup on, though it can cripple offensive mons with Toxic, or switch out via Teleport if presented the opportunity.

New Ability: Fierce Retreat = (Intimidate + Natural Cure)
Ability Description: When this Pokemon switches out, lowers the attack of adjacent opponents by 1 stage.
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Knock Off…

Defog, Roost, Haze, Stealth Rock…
Intended Role: Defensive Pivot, Utility (Defog/Roost/Haze)
Role Justification: Altaridile's ability makes it a great pivot, it works like a reverse intimidate which allows it's teammates to switch-in safely on physical threats. It also has access to coverage like Flamethrower to hit Ice Types, or Steels who may be immune to Earthquake, and Knock Off to cripple offensive and defensive threats. Some special moves allow it to be run with more coverage, most notably Sludge Bomb to hit Fairy types and Ice beam to hit other Dragons or Ground and/or Flying types. Lastly it can run utility, as it has access to moves like Haze or Hazard Control with Defog, and longevity with Roost.

Alratidile's biggest weakness is the fact that it lacks any sort of any actual stat spread. As a Ground/Dragon type it can't do anything outstanding, it's kind of like Flygon in that sense, it doesn't really differentiate itself from any of the Ground or Dragon types, or even future Ground and Dragon types (Dracolix) other than it's versatility and it's ability (though that isn't really a knock on it's usability, it's just something you have to keep in mind when using this mon). It also lacks any sort of Pivot move like U-Turn, which would have been a powerful combo for chip and would also potentially allow it to gain momentum in conjunction with it's ability.

New Ability: Pixilate
Ability Description: This Pokemon's Normal type moves become Fairy type and have 1.2x power.
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Facade, Knock Off
Earth Power, Flamethrower, Hyper Voice, Scorching Sands, Fire Blast
Dragon Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock…
Intended Role: Mixed Attacker/Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper (Dragon Dance)
Role Justification: With a Mega Evolution, it turns Altaridile's paltry offenses into legitimately threatening levels, especially in combination with it's new ability in Pixilate. It turns the mon into what once was a Support Pokemon/Defensive Pivot into a powerful mixed attacker. It can make use of moves like Dragon Dance much better, and it's typing grants it an excellent secondary typing in the form of Fairy. It's buffed offenses makes it a much more threatening Wallbreaker, with boosted Hyper Voice and Facade to thwart Will-O-Wisp or Toxic. It has useful coverage in Sludge Bomb, Draco Meteor, Flamethrower, Earthquake, and Earth Power and the aforementioned moves can even be used to check types that would normally beat it, like Steel, Grass, or Ice.

Ability Description: Combined effects.
Notable Moves:

Moonblast, Scald…
Calm Mind, Recover, Stealth Rock, Strength Sap, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp…
Intended Role: Bulky Setup (Calm Mind), Mixed Wall (Recover/Pain Split/Strength Sap), Hazards (Stealth Rock), Support (Toxic/Will-O-Wisp)
Role Justification: Frillcie acts a great wall due to it's typing and access to some key utility options. Strength Sap completely shuts down Physical Attackers, and Recover and Pain Split are also good health based on which direction one wishes to go for healing. Calm Mind turns it's middling attack stat into decent levels and it can act as a good Setup Sweeper with it's great bulk. It can act as a good lead/hazard setter with Stealth Rock, and it can spread harmful status around to cripple defensive and offensive threats. All of the above mentioned as well as some other key traits like Scald make Frillcie a very solid mixed wall.

Due to Frillcie's lack of enough offenses to threaten foes directly, it ends up being passive and relying on status or setup to deal sufficient damage, both methods being easily manipulated, though players have to watch out for a feint Mega set. And ironically, though it is effective at spreading status around, it itself is weak to it, Frillcie gets crippled by every status on every set sans Burn. Especially Toxic, as though Frillcie does have Heal Bell to heal these status conditions, it's usage of said move can be taken advantage of and is most times quite predictable

New Ability: Magic Bounce
Ability Description: This Pokemon blocks certain status moves and bounces them back to the user.
Notable Moves:
Explosion…
Earth Power, Hydro Pump, Moonblast, Psyshock, Scald, Water Spout…
Calm Mind, Recover, Stealth Rock, Strength Sap Substitute…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind), Mixed Attacker/Wallbreaker, Hazard Control (Magic Bounce)
Role Justification: Frillcie flips the switch upon Mega Evolving, going from a once solid Mixed Wall into a powerful Wallbreaker. Magic Bounce is an excellent ability for Hazard Control, and Frillcie's varied movepool allows it to take full advantage of it's brand new statspread. Scald, Moonblast, and Play Rough are powerful STAB options, and Water Spout is an incredibly potent alternative especially at max HP. As stated previously, the combination of Earth Power and Mystical Fire allow it to hit all of it's weaknesses for super effective damage. You can however forego one coverage option for Calm Mind, which makes Frillcie a powerful Setup Sweeper and bolsters it's still decent Sp.Def. You can run even a physical set. I opted out of mentioning it since it's basically a worse version of the special set.

Ability Description: Sand Rush effects; Removes the effects of Sandstorm from all Pokemon on the field except this Pokemon.
Notable Moves:
Earthquake, Facade, Fishious Rend, Psychic Fangs…
Earth Power, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Scald, Thunderbolt…
Calm Mind, Dragon Dance, Glare, Roost, Toxic…
Intended Role: Rain Abuser, Sand Abuser, Setup Sweeper (Dragon Dance), Bulky Setup (Calm Mind), Support (Glare/Roost/Toxic/Defog)
Role Justification: A weather concept mon that ends up benefitting from 2 weather conditions; Rain and Sand. You could say it's a dual weather abuser. Even then, it can still fit a lot of slots on a team even without weather. STAB Fishious Rend in Rain is very powerful, but not too overbearing considering it needs 1 boost from Dragon Dance to outspeed. With Sand however, while Fishious Rend doesn't get the power increase from Rain, Sand Rush allows Drampovish to outspeed almost all threats unboosted, which means that Fishious Rend will more often than not double in power almost all the time. This makes Drampovish an excellent abuser of both weather conditions. Though Drampovish benefits from weather, it does not need or completely rely on weather. A physical set makes use of Dragon Dance to turn Drampovish into a powerful setup sweeper and Fishious Rend. You could conversely opt for a special set with Calm Mind instead, as Drampovish has decent bulk and an expansive movepool to make it a good setup sweeper on the bulky side. Drampovish also has a surprising support movepool it can take advantage of, like Roost, Glare, or Toxic.

Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Earthquake, Mach Punch, Play Rough, Rapid Spin, Shadow Claw…
N/A…
Swords Dance…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Physical Wallbreaker, Hazard Control (Rapid Spin)
Role Justification: Mimitop's unique combination of ability, movepool, and statspread allow it to be a great offensive mon that can take a hit and is not afraid of staying in after getting hit against Physical attackers. This is due to the ability's affect, lowering the attack of adjacent opponents when hit by an attack that destroys the disguise. This gives Mimitop practically a free turn out to do whatever it wants, Setup, Attack, Sub, or control hazards. With this, Mimitop has a lot of flexibility on what it can do, and it becomes a powerful Setup Sweeper because of the free turn that it gets. Fairy, Fighting and Ghost coverage is also great coverage, as it's practically unresisted.

Dragon Dance, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Destiny Bond, Taunt, Switcheroo, Roost
Intended Role: Suicide Lead, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock, Spikes), Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Its ability allows it to block Defog, this combined to a Ghost typing that grants a Rapid Spin immunity turns it into a solid hazard setter, and it isn't passive either, having a nice speed tier and solid coverage options for the most part, however, keep in mind that it's somewhat frail, and the user itself dislikes Stealth Rock (and especially Cryogolem with its SE Electric-ate Rapid Spin). The mega is a blatant setup sweeper with a strong speed tier and stats that are quite self-explanatory, however, note that its main STAB (Poltergeist) doesn't benefit from its ability, and neither does most of its coverage (Triple Axel is solid here), and is forced to take SR damage.

Rest, Sleep Talk, Calm Mind, Wish, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Haze, Heal Bell, Healing Wish
Intended Role: Mixed Wall, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter, Setup Sweeper, Cleric
Role Justification: A solid mon that can fit in a ton of teams out of its versatility to fulfill offensive and defensive niches at once. Base being practically a mega that doesn't require a mega slot itself, but if you want to anyways, the mega acts as a wall with a nice amount of utility, Mega Ash is also monstruous, but it's unreliable to get as it requires the opponent to status you, and even then you're crippled, unless you run RestTalk, which heavily limits options. It also annoys Weezlord, as it doesn't mind losing its ability at all, and stands out from Mega Silvino Water by having options such as Haze, hazards and Scald. However, it is quite easy to wall out of a lack of solid STAB, although it can pivot out and set hazards to keep momentum, and it's still a good wincon thanks to Water Shuriken against offensive teams.
Note: Mega Ash Grenino is surely banworthy, although I wouldn't oppose a suspect test or similar.

Earth Power, Moonblast, Scorching Sands, Mystical Fire
Slack Off, Stealth Rock, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock), Hazard Control (Magic Bounce), Setup Sweeper (Calm Mind)
Role Justification: Good bulk and typing in the base form turn it into a solid defensive mon that provides support for its team. Setting Mist on switch-in prevents your team from having opposing stat drops, giving some situational utility. The mega gets about all the coverage it needs to not be easy to wall, and it's supported by a semi-unresisted STAB combination, having funny synergy with Mystical Fire as it lowers the offense of the opponent on the bulk side it lacks the most, while also rounding up the coverage. Sableior, Absable and Hattaka are forced out by this mon as well, making it a good Stealth Rock setter. However, the base form can be quite passive, and the mega is frail, so keep that in mind.

New Ability: Victory Guard = (Magic Guard + Victory Star)
Ability Description: The user and its allies have their accuracy increased by x1.1 and can't take indirect damage
Notable/Relevant/Useful Moves:
V-Create, Play Rough, Flare Blitz, Bolt Strike, Knock Off, U-Turn
Blue Flare, Moonblast, Thunder, Focus Blast, Scorching Sands, Final Gambit, Ice Beam
Healing Wish, Soft-Boiled, Wish, Teleport, Stealth Rock, Trick, Thunder Wave, Will-o-Wisp, Aromatheraphy, Calm Mind
Intended Role: Choice Scarf, Choice Band, Wallbreaker, Stallbreaker, Defensive Pivot, Offensive Pivot, Hazard Setter (Stealth Rock)
Role Justification: A solid ability and a wide movepool let it do a ton of things, even if its stats may imply otherwise, such as a Life Orb set that spams Flare Blitz with no recoil, a Choice Band set that hits hard under sun with V-Create, countless utility sets that do Clef things and so on.

New Ability: Dry Heat = (Blaze + Dry Skin)
Ability Description: The user is healed by 1/8 of max HP whenever it uses a Fire type move, Water type move immunity.
Notable Moves:
U-Turn
Eruption, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Volt Switch, Dark Pulse, Focus Blast
Will-o-Wisp, Glare
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot (Volt Switch, U-Turn), Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: An immunity to Water type moves helps in sun teams against Kyottler, which combined to its set of current resistances, allows it to make a solid core with Leafdon, resisting all of its weaknesses, while also having non-passive means of recovery out of its ability, which synergizes pretty well with Eruption's HP dependance and its offensive pressure, however, note that depending on the moves it runs it's easily walled by certain mons (most notably Dragon types), and so it appreciates support in Fairy types that can pressure them out.

New Ability: Awareness Scale = (Bulletproof + Unaware)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities

Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Knock Off, Psychic Fangs, Scale Shot
Aura Sphere, Draco Meteor, Flamethrower, Stored Power
Bulk Up, Calm Mind, Clangorous Soul, Dragon Dance, Nasty Plot, Roost, Stealth Rock Swords Dance

Intended Role: Mixed Set-Up Sweeper (Pick your choice honestly this gets everything)
Role Justification: Hard to tell which set-up set this would run, but it gets plenty of options for that thanks to its balanced statline and multiple set-up moves. Regardless, the goal here was Clangorous Soul + Stored Power, and this achieves that nicely. A varied coverage movepool that allows it to hit Steels and Darks helps it a ton, and physical sets can run Knock Off for opposing Psychics such as Mesflame. Its biggest issue is that its Dragon STAB options are rather mediocre and it struggles against a few mons in the meta still (Namely, Heatki not caring about Flamethrower means Special sets can't run Dual Stab + Flamethrower to get past it, Weezlord is immune to dual stab and would require Flash Cannon to be beaten, etc).

You could try to use Unnaware for defensive purposes but Psychic/Dragon sucks and the two most prominent set-up mons atm are Ghosts so tough luck.

New Ability: Chlorophyll = (Chlorophyll + Chlorophyll)

Notable Moves:
Drain Punch, Knock Off
Leaf Storm, Sludge Bomb, Weather Ball
Growth, Sleep Powder, Strength Sap, Swords Dance

Intended Role: Sun Sweeper (Ability)
Role Justification: Its Venusaur but amplified. Runs your standard Sun Sweeper set with Growth + dual stabs and Steel coverage (Either Weather Ball or if you're feeling funky Drain Punch - You'll have +2 Atk from Growth regardless and this can dent Heatki and Brontun). Not much that I can add here that isn't easy to see, it becomes pretty dangerous under the archetype its meant to fit in and much like Victreebel in lower tiers, it can run Strength Sap to recover HP on forced switches.

Base Stats: 101 / 85 / 102 / 100 / 102 / 64 [BST: 554] (+20 HP / +0 Atk / +10 Def / +10 SpA / +0 SpD / +0 Spe)
New Ability: Rough Disgrace = (Rough Skin + Serene Grace)
Ability Description: If hit by a contact move or a move with a secondary effect, attacker loses 1/8 max HP (Does not stack)

Notable Moves:
Dragon Tail
Dazzling Gleam
Defog, Glare, Heal Bell, Roost, Stealth Rock, Wish

Intended Role: Mixed Wall, Cleric (Heal Bell, Wish)
Role Justification: Wirdly enough we are low on defensive Fairies and even lower on defensive Dragons. Enter Druddikiss! Unlike most other defensive Fairy or defensive Dragon that are currently being used, Druddikiss has great hazard control, working both as a Setter or as a Remover. Other than that, it has naturally high bulk, decent Special attack for a wall and reliable Recovery. The main thing that allows it to stand out though is its ability. Combined with its typing, it allows Druddikiss to switch into moves it resists and chip off the attackers with ease, further making it less passive. Loads of common moves such as Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Thunderbolt, Scald and Dark Pulse get screwed over by this.

Its shortcoming is its support movepool being rather lacking though. Dazzling Gleam as its main damage-dealing STAB is only mediocre and offers no utility, and it does not have classic Wall moves such as Knock Off or U-Turn to mess with its opponents.

New Ability: Particle Plate = (Overcoat + Rain Dish)
Ability Description: Immune to Powder, Immune to Sand/Hail chip, heals 1/16 max hp under Sand/Hail or when hit by a powder move.

Notable Moves:
Knock Off, Rapid Spin, U-turn
Scald, Sludge Bomb
Defog, Roost, Toxic Spikes

Intended Role: Mixed Wall, Sand Abuser (Ability)
Role Justification: Made primarely to fit on sand teams while still having some niches outside of that. Its typing pairs gracefully with our current Sand abusers, covering all of Ground, Fairy, Bug, Fighting and Grass (Types our other Sand mons are weak to). Not only that, but most our other Sand mons cover it greatly as well, with Pincurchitar and Chomplim being immune to Electric, Dracodoom being immune to Psychic and Chomplim cleaning off Rock mons.

The main drawback however is that with our Sand abusers mostly being Dragon and Ground, this stacks an Ice weakness. Ideally you should run a Steel type alongside Mandicruel on your sand teams to round off the team's defensive covering nicely.

Outside of sand, it still has a pretty good previously unexplored defensive type and good defensive stats.

New Ability: Ultra Hoard = (Pickup + Beast Boost)
Ability Description: Regains a lost held item upon KOing an opponent

Notable Moves:
Dazzling Gleam, Meteor Beam, Power Gem, Thunderbolt
Stealth Rock

Intended Role: Set-Up Sweeper (Meteor Beam)
Role Justification: Ability is supposed to make it abuse Power Herb Meteor Beam to its fullest. With that, Nihilenne becomes a powerful set-up sweeper that constantly boost Sp Attack while dealing a lot of damage with a STAB move. It hits both Volquag super-effectively, so Unaware doesn't have much of a say in this. What does hinder it, however, is its lack of coverage and low initial power. It struggles to deal with most Steel-Types, and 113 Special Attack means it can't just OHKO most things to start snowballing, making it very balanced overall

Notable Moves:
Stone Edge, Earthquake, Fire Punch, Ice Fang, U-Turn, Superpower
N/A
Dragon Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock, Defog, Taunt
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot (U-Turn), Revenge Killer, Defogger
Role Justification: Everyone knows how good of an offensive typing Rock/Ground is and with decent 110 Attack and a great 122 Speed stat, the 2nd highest in the tier, Aerogon can be a great offensive pivot, able to dent things with its STABs and pivot out with U-Turn. Thanks to its high Speed, Aerogon can easily take care of fast threats like Kokovoir, Lycanserker, and Noicity while having the coverage and power to take down the likes of Slowtun, Kyottler, and Pincurchitar. Aerogon can also be a decent Defogger thanks to its Stealth Rocks resistance and ability to threaten Rockers like Heatki and Hattaka. Aerogon does have an absolutely atrocious defensive typing, even with a Ground immunity, that leaves it weak to Corveot and the tier's many Water-types, which makes it hard to get in, but when used right, Aerogon can be a great momentum grabber

Thunderbolt, Scald, Volt Switch, Energy Ball, Earth Power
Roost, Sticky Web, Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Defensive Pivot, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Vikavisk has 105/105 physical bulk, recovery, and no weaknesses, making it a physical wall that'll be hard to take down without a strong special move or boosting up. With its longevity, Vikavisk is able to set up hazards, cripple sweepers and switch-ins with Scald burns, bring in a frailer teammate with Volt Switch, or just hit something fairly hard with Thunderbolt and its good 115 SpA. It's terribly slow, so it has to take a hit or two before it can do anything and setup sweepers that resist Electric or don't care about getting burned like Dracodoom can abuse it, and not to mention it lets Slowtun in for free unless you sacrifice a precious moveslot for Earth Power, but Vikavisk should be a good wall all-in-all

Notable Moves:

N/A
Swords Dance, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Rain Abuser, Physical Wallbreaker, Stealth Rock setter
Role Justification: Remember when I subbed Excadrill + Ludicolo last slate? This is that, but better. With a bit more bulk, a bit more Speed, and a much better movepool to threaten stuff in rain. STAB Liquidations in the Rain are nightmarishly powerful, obviously murdering Glidol, Mesflame, Arctres, and Lycanserker, and also does a ton of damage to neutral targets like Gossephalon and Corveot. EQ is also boosted and smacks Tentoxys and Slowton, Stone Edge to hit Flying-types and opposing Kyottlers, and Poison Jab for Tanette and Weezlord. Oh, and Power Whip if you really hate Jelliswine. Also, with overally better stats than Excola, you might have a reason to use it outside of Rain with Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin existing, making it a faster and bulkier but weaker version of vanilla Excadrill, but this thing really shines in Kyottler's Rain

Ability Description: Changes typing before using a move. This Pokémon takes 50% damage from moves of its current type
Notable Moves:
Close Combat, Earthquake, Ice Punch, Bullet Punch, Thunder Punch, Knock Off, Poison Jab, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Heavy Slam
N/A
Trick Room, Recover, Bulk Up, Reflect Type
Intended Role: Physical Wallbreaker, Trick Room Sweeper
Role Justification: Like the name of its ability, this thing is Flexible, with the Protean effect of its ability giving it STAB on its wide array of coverage moves, most notably Close Combat, Knock Off, Earthquake, Ice Punch, and Heavy Slam, which will all hit hard thanks to its high 122 Attack. Kecliyama is also fat, with decen 105/75/100 bulk and an ability that gives it one less weakness before changing type and, while not terribly useful for most types, lets it resist Fighting when using CC, Ground when using EQ, resist Normal when using Recover, and take neutral from Ghost when using Shadow Sneak. This fat lets it setup Trick Room, where it can really make use of its power. It's biggest weakness will likely be 4MSS, since it usually needs Trick Room and really wants Recover to function, but then has to choose between the super powerful Earthquake for Slowton, Hattaka, and Cofazor, Knock Off for Mesflame, Poison Jab for Tanette, Ice Punch for Glidol, Stone Edge or Thunder Punch for Toucosta and Kyottler, and Bulk Up for extra power. Oh, and it's not good at all, but because of its ability, Reflect Type almost always makes you resistant to the opponent's STAB, which is funny

Base Stats: 86 / 82 / 100 / 110 / 100 / 70 [BST: 548] (+11 HP / +0 Atk / +8 Def / +10 SpA / +8 SpD / +3 Spe)
New Ability: Meteorologist = (Soul-Heart + Forecast)
Ability Description: Effects of both abilities
Notable Moves:
N/A
Flash Cannon, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Energy Ball, Stored Power, Hurricane, Volt Switch
Shift Gear, Calm Mind, Trick, Trick Room
Intended Role: Rain Abuser, Sun Abuser, Calm Mind Sweeper, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: It's a Magearna with Castform's movepool but actually balanced, what's not to love about that? Extremely versatile Pokemon both on weather teams and off thanks to its extremely deep movepool that lets it potentially threaten a ton of the metagame with Meteorologist boosts to help it sweep. Plus on weather teams, it trades its pretty bad Steel/Normal-typing for the great typings of Steel/Fire in Sun and Steel/Water in Rain. On Sun, it packs useful Bug and Flying resistances for Leafdon while Leafdon checks Ground-type for it and it powers up its Fire coverage to take care of Hattaka, Cofazor, and Xotalion, while in Rain it resists Rock moves for Kyottler, who takes Fighting and Ground moves for it in return, and its Water and Electric coverage let it handle Corveot, Maroligatr, and every non-Volquag Fire-type. However, while not useless out of weather, it's pretty meh thanks to its low Speed and bad Fighting and Ground weaknesses, plus it has severe 4MSS no matter what set it has and while it can beat other weather setters, having its weather changed can sometimes screw it over. Oh, and Brontun laughs in the face of most sets

New Ability: Blaze = (Blaze + Blaze)
Ability Description: This Pokémon's Fire-type moves deal 1.5x damage when it is at 1/3 of its max HP or less
Notable Moves:
Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Thunder Punch, Earthquake, Knock Off, Stone Edge, U-Turn, Brave Bird
Fire Blast, Focus Blast, Grass Knot, Vacuum Wave
Swords Dance, Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot, Swords Dance Sweeper, Nasty Plot Sweeper
Role Justification: Very versatile pivot, with a pretty good offensive typing with high powered STABs on both sides, a useful niche in being a Fire-type that beats Heatki and Brontun, plus coverage in Stone Edge or Thunder Punch for Toucosta, Brave Bird for Kyottler, and Knock Off for Mesflame and Toxalure, plus priority on the special side in Vacuum Wave to stop revenge kill attempts from Lycanserker. It of course has its flaws, with bad 4MSS, checks in Glidol, Landomaldo, and anything faster, but it should be a great offensive threat for any team

Notable Moves:

Swords Dance

Role Justification: Being a Mega Blaziken fusion would've already gotten this banned, but then you went and gave it 682 BST. Heck, this would've gotten banned even without Speed Boost

long day at job

rub seview
kabuther: its ok ig
aggroboom: i dont like the idea of fat steel rillaboom or to a lesser extent mega aggron with recovery
emolsect: not bad, having volt switch + uturn on one mon is like not an impressive feat though because this would 100% use uturn because 1) its unblockable and 2) it wants thunderbolt and vswitch feels redundant there

alakalix: its ok but a mguard mon feels like itd be better off not being weak to water since thats a common move on fat walls
scythartic: already reviewed
excanine: i dont like the fact that with stabs + wild charge + sd it has basically no switchin
mr crime: as i said in discord a "screens killer" is a wholly unnecessary role. besides that all the stats besides speed are pretty mediocre

goodevoir: turns out i did not in fact review this so heres a review: it exists lol
idk dragon/psychic just feels really blah especially when you need to use wishport for recovery (life dew sucks dont use it)
arctosteela: at +2 it effectively hits 150 base speed so thats something. bolt beak in general is a boring move (unless its a lure move on resident chadmon dracodoom)
galvadra: i dont really feel like a third webs setter is necessary, the mon itself is ok though

aggroboar: make it fire/rock coward
altarizard: very indifferent on this
glalilego: using glalie again? cringe! rng ability? mega cringe!
xurkikiss: indifferent except it seems like it could compete with kokovoir
victreskorch: ok but having to use scorching sands on brontun sounds really sad lol
rampardigon: indifferent

already reviewed

vilecremie: idk not too eyeopening
archetile: i dont like that its a rocks weak mon that prefers to run a consumable item (btw tapu lop's magic room would not deactivate this ability because it would still be holding an item)
clefotom: mg is a cool ability but fire/fairy clefable is not it chief
thundurfish: seems ok, p slow though

solninja: good take on a suicide lead, though i kind of doubt its offensive sets will be any good because lol night slash
sandamar: already reviewed
nidoheeyem: seems real powerful against stall but i dont really like how its type is the same as tentoxys, another potential stallbreaker
decidurchin: exists ig
darmearna: p heat

regiops: there is like nothing going for this mon. awful defensive typing, awful ability, statline isnt even that impressive to make up for it. first unviable ive seen in some time.
tyraptile: exists ig
dreepxys: pretty bad mon. its speed tier is not impressive which lets down its similarly only average offenses. deoxys-a is not a famous nasty plotter so why would this be either?

cursolele: already reviewed
druk: better than the last druddigon fusion ig
dialwile: nothing that stands out to me
cursable: besides being yet ANOTHER sab fusion its also ANOTHER dark/ghost and ANOTHER magic bouncer and a gimmicky base ability. cringe!
grapploom: p cursed but octolock spore sounds fun

paracoal: absolute madlad of a mon
pyromoth: still cannot tell if this works or not
coriolyph: dank. no match for staroh though
crustboar: shell smash :(

obstarime: quite a gem compared to your other fusions. like sirsola lol
haxoking: this is really existent
gardechu: congratulations! you made kokovoir. are you proud? im not
lantaria: looks very (and probably unnecessarily) fat
shiform: not v interested in a multiweather abuser cause it cuts into the diversity of weather archetypes. also i dont really want mr pairofballs to be a legitimate fusion lol
gastrocremie: its there (btw aroma veil doesnt protect from status it protects from move-locking moves like taunt/encore)

both already reviewed

i mean it exists ig, think it would rather run some bulky rocks set instead of sd (also why would stone edge or drill peck of all things be good coverage, what do they even hit)

clefpoleon: looks like the bulk is pretty bad, may be underestimating steel/fairy though
porymory: it exists ig
(bolded moves are additions, italics are niche moves, strikeouts are removals)
Facade, Brave Bird, Steel Wing, Drill Peck, Body Press…
Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Psychic, Psyshock, Flash Cannon, Tri Attack
Spikes, Stealth Rock, Swords Dance, Toxic, Roost, Recover, Defog, Teleport, Trick Room
pro tip if something has 70/80/57 offensive stats its not gonna use any coverage moves because that is a dedicated wall

altaridile: overlaps with dracolix too much imo (btw mega stats dont fit with base stats)
Earthquake, Close Combat, Stone Edge, Aqua Tail, Knock Off, Dragon Tail
Draco Meteor, Flamethrower, Hurricane, Ice Beam, Moonblast, Scorching Sands, Sludge Bomb
Defog, Dragon Dance, Roost, Haze, Heal Bell, Stealth Rock
80 special attack is awful and choice specs is not helping that at all. similarly 93/90 physical offense is mediocre even with dragon dance so this would exclusively use defensive sets. it doesnt fit on stall due to dragon/ground not being a very useful defensive typing so it wouldnt use heal bell.
mega:
Aqua Tail, Close Combat, Earthquake, Facade, Knock Off, Stone Edge, Body Slam
Draco Meteor, Earth Power, Flamethrower, Hurricane, Hyper Voice, Ice Beam, Moonblast, Scorching Sands, Sludge Bomb, Fire Blast
Dragon Dance, Roost, Substitute, Stealth Rock
like none of the coverage moves you listed are good besides koff. ground/fairy is already an amazing offensive typing and while aqua tail and stone edge hit mesflame it doesnt exactly have the coverage for it when you want ddance and roost. koff is maybe an option if you really want it. similarly for special ep/hyper voice/flamethrower or fire blast already hit mostly everything

- Facade / Double Edge / Mega Kick / Mega Punch / Rock Climb
its gonna use body slam 80% of the time. maybe double edge, maybe facade. mega kick/mega punch/rock climb are bad options due to their lack of utility or other downsides (lol 75% acc, dont use hone claws its strictly outclassed by ddance)

frillcie: overlaps with whimsilotic too much
Body Press, Diamond Storm, Play Rough, Stone Edge, Waterfall…
Giga Drain, Earth Power, Energy Ball, Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Psychic, Psyshock, Scald, Sludge Bomb, Surf
Calm Mind, Iron Defense, Recover, Strength Sap, Stealth Rock, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp…
diamond storm is a p bad way of boosting defense as its v inconsistent and not hitting hard at all with 82 atk and no stab. play rough is like strictly outclassed by moonblast when you have equal atk/spa due to burn halving its damage and moonblast having 100% acc + spa drops. having scald also makes any physical move (besides body press) unviable. being a wall with very spammable stab moves makes its coverage moves entirely unnecessary too
mega:
Body Press, Diamond Storm, Play Rough, Stone Edge, Waterfall, Explosion
Earth Power, Energy Ball, Moonblast, Mystical Fire, Psychic, Psyshock, Scald, Sludge Bomb, Water Spout, Hydro Pump
Calm Mind, Substitute, Stealth Rock, Recover, Strength Sap
now that it has 80 def body press is unviable. explosion is a very niche move for hyper offense since this mon has recovery + real good defensive typing. earth power hits ferros and psyshock hits thornbro/slowton/eeluk while the other moves dont hit anything relevant or are too niche to be considered. this is a great rocks setter so rocks are readded.

drampavish: never been interested in the fossil moves
Earthquake, Facade, Fishious Rend, Liquidation, Play Rough, Psychic Fangs…
Earth Power, Fire Blast, Hurricane, Hydro Pump, Hyper Voice, Ice Beam, Scald, Surf, Thunderbolt…
Calm Mind, Defog, Dragon Dance, Glare, Roost, Toxic…
since its normal moves are low power and it has a bunch of coverage it wants to run theyre not very considerable at all. its bulk doesnt feel good enough to run cm and defog sets are outclassed by the other defog normal/water mon (which isnt good either lol). hurricane doesnt hit anything ice beam also doesnt hit and surf is never considerable over hydro pump or scald.

mimitop: looks ok ig
Close Combat, Earthquake, High Jump Kick, Mach Punch, Play Rough, Rapid Spin…
N/A…
Bulk Up, Substitute, Swords Dance…
hjk is never considerable over cc unless you have reckless or mg because of its miss rate and the fact you shit yourself in front of ghosts (especially since this mon has no good move against ghosts). bulk up is strictly outclassed by sd and i dont see a reason to note sub here

idk if these notable move fixes were understandable feel free to ask me for more clarification

frosdactyl: really dont feel the need for this kind of ability when we have good spinblockers and defog punishers
grenino: already reviewed
hippocie: better take on frosdactyl
dittoise: dont feel the need for a ditto in this meta
clefini: same objection as cleftom
helosion: it exists ig

azugigas: besides stepping on tapu koma i dont want to have to deal with a 110 huge power mon
abres: sure its "better absol" but absol is known for being real bad in any gen

swoommo: eh. clangsoul + stored power is a boring premise imo
victreevile: its a venusaur with drain punch over ep. seems ok
reshichou: cool but id rather it be offensive because fire/electric is a cool typing

separated compass.svg.png

more bangers than last time so thats pretty cool

Ability Description: Effects of both.
Notable Moves:
Volt Switch, Bug Buzz, Energy Ball, Thunderbolt
Quiver Dance, Thunder Wave, Roost, Defog
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Pivot
Role Justification: Rothim has an incredible move in Quiver Dance and an amazing ability in Tinted Lens which allows it to start sweeping very effectively after a few boosts. With its good speed and special attack Rothim also fills the role of a strong offensive pivot, dealing very good damage with Volt Switch. Rothim could also run a bulky set with Thunder Wave and Defog support with Roost helping its longevity.

Ability Description: When this Pokemon uses a dance move, its special attack raises by 1.
Notable Moves:
Revelation Dance, Dragon Pulse, Energy Ball, Ice Beam
Defog, Calm Mind, Roost, Taunt, Dragon Dance, Toxic, Glare
Intended Role: Wallbreaker, Setup Sweeper, Bulky Defogger
Role Justification: Oricompa can fucntion as a setup sweeper, getting +SpA and speed with Dragon Dance but it can also function as a good wallbreaker because of its sky high SpA combined with Specs can cause some big damage. Oricompa can also run a bulky set with Roost, Defog, and U-turn functioning as somewhat of an offensive pivot.

Notable Moves:
Earth Power, Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, Volt Switch, Giga Drain
Calm Mind, Synthesis, Toxic, Stealth Rock
Intended Role

Role Justification: Probozion is a very bulky mixed wall with good recovery that allows it to spread Toxic and use Rocks very effectively. Probozion can potentially setup Calm Mind on a special attacker filling the role of a bulky sweeper.

Notable Moves:
Scald, Ice Beam, Focus Blast, Sludge Bomb,
Nasty Plot, Substitute, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Toxic Spikes
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Hazard Setter
Role Justification: Similego has a very unique ability which allows it to sweep without having to spend turns setting up. Its ability combined with Petaya or Salac Berry can make it very threatening, especially as it doesn't need to waste a turn getting these boosts. Similego also has very good bulk allowing it to run a hazard set with Taunt and Stealth Rock as its good speed tier can allow it to shut down slower leads.

…Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Calm Mind, Autotomize

Intended Role: Special Wallbreaker / Physical Wallbreaker / Set-Up Sweeper (Dragon Dance, Swords Dance, Calm Mind, Autotomize)
Role Justification: Base is a bulky mon with a lot of utility and great offensive presence. It kinda competes with Ferros, but both have their uses (notably, Ferros is bulkier ans has Scald, while this isn't passive). Ultra is a set-up sweeper with decent bulk and great coverage and boosting options on both sides. Base might look like it overlaps with Noze but it doesn't really, they have different roles.
