New Types:

Base Stats: 75 / 75 / 70 / 105 / 85 / 110 [BST: 520] (+1 HP / +2 Atk / +0 Def / +17 SpA / +1 SpD / +19 Spe)
New Ability: Hydrophobic = (Dry Skin + Contrary)
Ability Description: This Pokemon is healed 1/4 by Fire, 1/8 by Sun; is hurt 1.25x by Water, 1/8 by Rain.
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
…U-Turn, Knock Off
Special.png
…Thunderbolt, Discharge, Dark Pulse, Volt Switch, Flamethrower, Grass Knot, Focus Blast
Status.png
…Thunderwave, Nasty Plot
Intended Role: Offensive Pivot/Setup Sweeper.
Role Justification: Well, seeing as we now have a sun setter, I figured now would be the best time for a teammate for it to show up, so how about a sorta non conventional one, a pokemon that isn't even a fire or grass type. So, here's Maliolisk, a speedy lil electric type with a decent special attack stat that fits right in on a sun team.

Magic Guard + a lot of utility
DNA Donors: Clefairy / Cinderace
Fusion Name: Cleferace
New Types:

Fire.png

Base Stats: 90 / 80 / 80 / 62 / 75 / 78 [BST: 465] (+15 HP / +0 Atk / +19 Def / +0 SpA / +5 SpD / +1 Spe)
New Ability: Blazing Guard = (Magic Guard + Blaze)
Ability Description: Combined effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
U-turn, Knock Off, High Jump Kick, Flare Blitz, Play Rough
Special.png
Moon Blast
Status.png
Court Change, Soft-Boiled, Stealth Rock, Taunt, Aroma/Bell, Wish, Teleport, Substitute
Intended Role: Hazard Control / Wish Pass / Cleric
Role Justification: Cleferace would be great at Controlling/Deterring hazards. While switching sides of hazards with Court Change, it could switch sides of screens which could be really beneficial against Grimm screen teams. It also has amazing utility with WishPort/Tect, Aroma/Bell, U-turn, Knock Off, Taunt, etc. Something that gives it a nice niche in the meta is that it is a Fire-type that could hit Brontun and Heatki with HJK while ignoring its recoil damage because of Magic Guard. It also out speeds them both (and Mega Cofazor among other things) and has great recovery.
Since it's weak to Ground-types, it wouldn't have the easiest time switching in to Rock setters like Glidol.
I fused Clefairy over Clefable so that its stats would stay relatively low and it could rely on its moves and ability to be useful. Since it isn't reliant on its item, it could also be a decent Knock Off resist. (It happens to resist both of Weezlord's STAB as well, which is a small plus.)

New Ability: Steam Forest = (Steam Engine + Grassy Surge)
Ability Description: Combined effects of both abilities.
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
Knock Off, U-turn, Rapid Spin, Grassy Glide, Rock Tomb, High Horsepower, Flare Blitz, Body Press
Special.png
Scald
Status.png
Stealth Rock, Leech Seed, Taunt, Substitute, Will-O-Wisp, Swords Dance, Iron Defense
Intended Role: (Grassy) Terrain Setter / Defensive Pivot
Role Justification: It has a great amount of utility through Grassy Surge, Stealth Rock, Knock Off, U-turn, Rapid Spin, Leech Seed, etc. It could also switch in on fire/water moves and gain a Steam Engine speed boost. While it has great utility, its rock weakness would force it to mostly rely on HDB. It also has a decent defensive typing and resists ground under grassy terrain.

New Ability: Voltophyll = (Chlorophyll + Volt Absorb)
Ability Description: Double speed in sun. Heals 25% of max HP when hit by Electric- and Fire-type attacks instead of taking damage.
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
Bolt Beak, Icicle Crash, Power Whip, Knock Off, Stone Edge
Special.png
Ice Beam, Freeze Dry, Weather Ball, Giga Drain, Leaf Storm, Solar Beam, Meteor Beam
Status.png
Growth, Strength Sap, Swords Dance
Intended Role: Sun Abuser, Setup Sweeper, Mixed Wallbreaker, Special Wallbreaker
Role Justification: Sun sweeper that supports sun in 2 crucial ways: It outspeeds and eats a hit from (non Bug-Buzz) Kyottler, and provides the archetype with a much-needed Sun answer (by virtue of immunity and rock coverage/bolt beak). It has pretty great special coverage when Meteor Beam is taken into account as a lure, while the physical end boasts more consistent Rock coverage and Bolt Beak, which has clear synergy with sun when it comes to murdering Kyottler and the such. Downsides? Sucks pretty hard out of sun and Ice/Grass is an awful typing in most scenarios.

Notable Moves:

Shadow Ball, Ice Beam, Hyper Voice, Flamethrower
Status.png
Roost, Defog, Stealth Rock, Glare, Will-O-Wisp, Nasty Plot, Trick Room
Intended Role: Physical Wall, Hazard Control, Hazards, Mixed Wall
Role Justification: A more defensive approach to Yacian's current function in the metagame, Drunepa can sit on most rockers and reliably clear hazards. Particularly effective against FEUU pariah Glidol. On the other hand, its offensive presence pales compared to Yacian and Normal/Ghost is a pretty awkward type when it comes to consistently walling several threats. Shares a similar spread to Meloslash but the 2 operate completely differently, trust me. Nobody fucks with defensive Meloslash.

Nasty Plot, Rest, Hypnosis, Stealth Rock, Spikes
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper, Special Wallbreaker, Hazards, Hazard Control
Role Justification: Rock-types suck, man. So here's Hypnihil 2, Tokyo Drift. This can be played as your standard Sleep+Nasty Plot sweeper, but those of us who are real will see the power contained within Resto-Chesto strats. While this strategy (eat a hit, NP, rest off the damage, sweep) definitely has power behind it, it is very telegraphed and you're limited to only 2 attacking moves, which will inevitably run into a losing matchup at one point or another. It could also run spin/spikes or smth but its a midbulk rock/dark get your priorities straight

Ability Description: Component effects combined
Notable Moves:

Quiver Dance, Roost, Stealth Rock
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper
Role Justification: Bugs also suck pretty hard, but at least they have Quiver Dance, which we apparently haven't done yet. So here's my Quiver Dancer, the graceful, awe-inspiring combination of Pokemon Satan and a trash-bagworm. This would function much in the same way bulky Volcarona does in standard, where it leverages its bulk and reliable recovery to setup multiple QDs. After 2 or so it should be good to go. However, it has some clear downsides. For starters, it has an awfully redundant STAB combo and is very flaccid initially. It also doesn't have much in the way of actual defensive utility, but it should be able to take advantage of most of our grounds and certain waters. I think this Pokemon would look funny!!!

Swords Dance…
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Swords Dance), Choice Band, Offensive Pivot
Role Justification: The Swords Dance set functions like Rillaboom with the Steel type and more coverage. The Choice Band set can choose to run Steel Roller to hit something REALLY hard, but afterwards it's a sitting duck that needs to be switched out. Finally, a set utilising Grassy Glide, Steel Roller, and U Turn in quick succession can work as an offensive pivot, and will always set its terrain upon switching back in.

Ability Description: boosts the pokemon's highest stat by one stage when hit by an Electric move; Electric immunity.
Notable Moves:
Physical.png
… Bolt Beak, Acrobatics, Earthquake, Icicle Crash
Special.png
… Air Slash, Dishcharge, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Hydro Pump
Status.png
… Autonomize, Substitute, Leech Seed, Toxic, Protect
Intended Role: Setup Sweeper (Autonomize), Mixed Wall
Role Justification: we got Dracodoom, so i think it's time to give its lesser used cousin a chance. Arctosteela is a bulky attacker that can set up via autonomize. while this may be cause for concern, as it does get Bolt Beak, it is very slow, so it may take 2 or more uses before it outspeeds everything, and has no way of boosting offensive stats outside of its ability. good mixed offenses means it can run both physical and special sets, and access to Leech Seed and Substitute means it can run a bulky set if you desire. however, it isn't immune to Toxic or Will-o-wisp which puts a huge dent in its damage output physically, so watch out, and unless it's running Earthquake, bulky steels like Brontun should be able to handle it. it's also weak to Stealth Rocks, so boots become a must.

Notable Moves:
Physical.png
… Rapid Spin, Close Combat, U-turn, Double-Edge, Throat Chop
Special.png
… Hyper Voice, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball
Status.png
…Quiver Dance
Intended Role: Choice Band/Scarf, Offensive Pivot,
Role Justification: this pokemon is a glass cannon that can snowball very quickly due to its ability. Rapid Spin turns into Dragon Dance if attack is its highest stat, allowing it to simultaneously remove hazards. a Band or Scarf set can also be run due to its high speed, making it a good revenge killer, and access to U-turn also makes it a good pivot.
on the other hand, it is incredibly frail, and so if it doesn't KO its target it will likely get KOed in return. also, Ghosts tend to wall it quite hard unless you have something like Throat Chop for physical sets or Shadow Ball for special sets, which could theoretically be run, but is advised against.

Intended Role: pretty much anything Hazards (Stealth Rock, Defog), Wishpassing, Defensive pivot, special breaker (Calm Mind, Nasty Plot), Choice Specs/Scarf
Role Justification: It's everyone's favourite OU mon, Landorus-T CLEFABLE! You know what it does. Its new access to Volt Switch and Defog make its utility sets more potent, and its offensive sets get more juice through Nasty Plot. In comparison to our other fires (Mesflame, Arctres), this has the worst speed tier and the worst raw bulk on both sides, but, as we know with Clef, Magic Guard skews things. This comparison should indicate that it's not going to be problematic because I see this being unpopular just because it's Clefable. I think the meta would benefit from a glue mon and I think this would be a healthy thing for us all.

Too much utility for its own good. Its essentially a better Clefable, and that's already a very good mon

Intended Role: Offensive Pivot (Ability), Hazards Setter (Spikes, Sticky Web), Revenge Killer (First Impression)
Role Justification: Big pivot man. My man is mostly a Support Pokémon, used to grab mommentum and set hazards. It can set webs and pivot in one turn which is pretty cool and has whacky tools like Lunge/Skitter Smack that can help bring in some teammates safely. Lack of a good Electric stab sucks though and as a Bug pivot its hard locked into boots. Usually it also can't afford to take too many hits and has no healing so it has to play very carefuly on how it pivots.
Too much momentum utility to be healthy with First Impression.

Normally we don’t bring up issues while fixes are ongoing, but because you’re new around here and did make an effort to fix your sub (thanks for that btw, a lot of new people don’t) I should mention that you can only add up to 20 of your +40 BST into any one stat, so at least 5 points of Defense (ideally a bit more because that ability’s nutty) have to be placed elsewhere.

Okay, as the thread now can be used to talk about the submitted stuff in the meantime, I'll do a sort of sub review, even if quite late xp, but it may be useful to change how some may perceive certain mons, and to show what I may think over some of them:

NANI?!
Link to the subs

:Scyther::Kabutops:
Kabuther: Looks like a fun mon, being able to do Scizor things and more without overlapping with Cofazor at all.
:Aggron::Thwackey:
Aggrokey: Steel roller? This is just going to do Rillaboom things, although Steel Roller isn't a bad option given how it tends to pivot anyways. That being said, spamable priority tends to be disliked, and the mega appears to be almost filler.
:Genesect::Emolga:
Emolsect: TBH it's a bit too slow for a offensive pivot given the meta, you should have aimed for a speed tier of 106 or above, given that as is it's forced to run Scarf to be consistent, although the extra power of Download does give it a niche at least, even if it isn't too denotable for my taste.
:Victreebel::Infernape:
Inferneebel: Considering how the sun setter we have is quite eh, you had a bit more space to make a stronger sun abuser, that being said, it looks okay.
:Snubbull::Necrozma_Dusk_Mane:
Necrobull-Dusk-Mane: It looks like a considerable option that punishes Knock Off in a unique way, and the Ultra form gives it extra points, especially considering how it complements the concept, I like it.
:Drednaw::Thievul:
Dredvul: Also love the concept, it plays quite uniquely, but I ran out of votes : (

RedwoodRogue
Link to the subs

:Alakazam::Steelix:
Alakalix: While it looks appealing and all, it's not exactly in my taste out of how optimized it is, but it's surprisingly balanced, and I'll probably consider it more soon.
:Scyther::Articuno:
Scythartic: As said before, I dislike how Pressure is filler here, but not much else could be done, that being said, I would mention that it really struggles against Steel types (especially Ferros, lol), and so appreciates Noze-DW support.
:Excadrill::Arcanine:
Excanine: TBH this one looks a bit too strong for my taste, although it does get a ton of options to complement its nearly unresisted STABs with, namely utility.
:Crobat::Mr._Mime:
Mr. Crime: Ha ha funny name
Anyways, this mon is underpowered and doesn't even really have a niche to aim for that's noteworthy (You could even add Filter + Inner Focus to make it immune to all moves that are super effective and it still would be a eh sub, don't @ me).
:Charizard::Lanturn:
Lantizard: The ability is a stretch (Neither component redirects moves, even if that's only relevant for the doubles meta hardly anyone thinks about), this also ain't using Defog, lol. Anyways, looks okay.
:Venusaur::Rotom_Heat:
Rotosaur-Heat: Just Venusaur but Electric and with some moves to work well enought even outside of sun. I'd also mention Weather Ball given how it lets it nuke away opposing Grass types, and out of the above Overheat too. That being said, this struggles against Dragon types so much it's not funny.

anaconja
Link to the subs

:Venusaur::Lunatone:
Lunasaur: Finally, a sun sweeper with some depth in design (Although the mega is another story, but that's just filler out of Venusaur being involved), looks considerable.
:Mr._Rime::Seismitoad:
Mr. Toad: While the concept is good, it's a bit disappointing that the ability is only abusable in a way that makes it quite redundant beyond being strong speed control, but I suppose just adding Water Absorb+Ice Body to make it immune to Water and Ice would have left it more concerning, so it's okayish.
:Infernape::Lanturn:
Inferturn: A more versatile option to the amount of contesters for a Fire type that fits sun and can annoy Kyottler. Looks okay.
:Staravia::Ho-Oh:
Star-Oh: As said before, a potent offensive pivot, it's quite scary, but the amount of chip it can quickly get means that it has to be played a bit carefully, which works well with Regenerator, making it an interesting sub.
:Dugtrio::Cinderace:
Duggerace: A strong sand mon, looks appealing TBH.
:Carkol::Kommo-o:
Carko-o: A bulkier alternative for something that can switch into Kyottler, while also doing some other things, TBH it could have used a bit more SpA, it looks a bit passive as it is currently.

Superior Serperior
Link to the subs

:Goodra::Gardevoir:
Goodevoir: As said before, the mega is probably borderline, but regarding the base... it looks appealing, acting as a stallbreaker/setup sweeper that absorbs and punishes status.
:Arctozolt::Celesteela:
Arctosteela: It got banned : V
:Goodra::Galvantula:
Galvadra: A dedicated fast bulky web setter, looks okay-ish.
:Eevee::Pheromosa:
Eevomosa: Also a weird mon, it can get weared down quickly and can't take a hit, with that eh typing now I don't see much reason to use it over Ninjacross, given that it has to OHKO the opponent to abuse whatever boosts it gets or else it dies, while Ninjacross is a more consistent option over this.
:Flareon::Sandslash:
Flareslash: This heavity competes with Duggerace, and while its way slower, it hits harder and comes with more utility to stand out at least, looks considerable right now.

G-Luke
Link to the subs

:Aggron::Emboar:
Aggroboar: Hits too hard > : (
Anyways, it looks pretty good on second thought, not being too easy to bring in yet having high damage output to not make switch-ins for it too easy either.
:Altaria::Charizard:
Altarizard: A sub that manages to keep both megas of Charizard balanced while even featuring one mega more makes it really appealing, especially with the base form being usable as well, this is an underrated sub.
:Glalie::Nihilego:
Glalilego: Weird mon, relying on RNG after KOing a mon doesn't sound too reliable.
:Togekiss::Xurkitree:
Xurkikiss: Got banned :V
:Victreebel::Centiskorch:
Victreskorch: A fairly strong sun sweeper, looks okay.
:Rampardos::Druddigon:
Rampardigon: Also hits too hard > : (
Anyways, its main STABs don't get enhanced by its ability, so it looks okay.

Mossy Sandwich
Link to the subs

:Reuniclus::Cobalion:
Cobaclus: Actually doesn't look half bad as an option that can be used in tons of ways, look interesting.
:Chesnaught::Roserade:
Rosenaught: Sounds strong, but should be fine and all, it can also do a decent amount of things, so it looks considerable.
:Zeraora::Kabutops:
Kabuora: As said before, another case of a filler ability in the fusion components, but to be fair, it's more justified here as the other options would make it broken. Anyways, as I've said on Discord, it's nearly entirely outclassed as a suicide lead by Grimmlurk unless you're desperate for Rapid Spin, which hyper offense (the archetype that uses suicide leads to begin with) can't usually afford momentum for that and appreciates more a fast Taunt because of this. That being said, the other offensive roles mentioned are fulfilled well, and it's a good enought sub.

Ema Skye
Link to the subs
:Vileplume::Alcremie:
Vilecremie: Exists, TBH I would rather use Tentoxys-Defense over this, given that it has better stats, utility and ability overall.
:Archeops::Sceptile:
Archetile: The typing is quite eh, but outside of that it's okay. Mega looks monstruous but surprisingly balanced.
:Clefable::Rotom-Heat:
Clefotom-Heat: It got banned :V. Try with Clefairy next time.
:Thundurus-Therian::Qwilfish:
Thundurfish-Therian: Actually looks quite considerable, being a offensive pivot with utility and some longevity, nice.

zxgzxg
Link to the subs

:Solrock::Greninja:
Solninja: The grounding effect suppressing the ability is quite unecessary, and just turns the mon unreliable at random in some cases, also ew the lack of Knock Off, TBH it looks a bit underpowered, being Fighting type food and not enought moveslots to use its utility without being easy to wall.
:Sandslash-Alola::Malamar:
Sandamar-Alola: Physical Quiver Dance on a mon like this is pretty interesting, nice.
:Beheeyem::Nidoking:
Nidoheeyem: A offensive mon that plays quite uniquely is also considerable.
:Decidueye::Pincurchin:
Decidurchin: As said before, weird mon, but at least it makes synergy with its ability in an unique way.
:Darmanitan::Magearna:
Darmearna: A mon that can viably go mixed while also featuring a ton of options is pretty solid.

Regic Boat
Link to the subs

:Regice::Archeops:
Regiops: Underpowered, not only it hates Sticky Web and Defog, it's also too slow to go viably offensive, and its typing prevents nearly any defensive utility from working.
:Tyrantrum::Sceptile:
Tyraptile: Strong mon that can only be used once to sweep out of how its ability works, looks considerable, although a bit existent as it's somewhat one-dimensional for me. The mega is also clearly filler, lol.
:Deoxys-Attack::Dreepy:
Dreepxys-Attack: Eh... TBH I would rather use Miemie, it has no defensive utility whatsoever and it's too frail to setup even in screens.

NeonNitroGlycerin
Link to the subs

:Cursola::Tapu_Lele:
Cursolele: Unique mon that supports its team in a creative way, nice.
:Muk-Alola::Druddigon:
Druk-Alola: Pursuit is dexited, rip. Anyways, it balances its strong ability surprisingly well, so I wouldn't mind if it gets in, although it's a bit existent to me otherwise.
:Dialga::Mawile:
Dialwile: As said before, another sub that just exists to nuke G-Weezlord. That being said, it's a fine sub, but I personally don't like as much Mawile subs that waste the mega (as it makes it unecessarily harder to do fusions involving it that don't overlap), there's plenty other Steel types with Stealth Rock and coverage.
:Grapploct::Breloom:
Grapploom: Ha ha kill the wall with Octolock + Spore.
That being said, only having 4 moveslots really balances out this mon, and it's considerable at least.

:Pyroar::Frosmoth:
Pyromoth: The mon looks a bit underpowered TBH, it has no longevity to make the most out of Quiver Dance, and its stats don't really back it up, let alone the typing and coverage.
:Sigilyph::Oricorio:
Sigicorio: I would have swapped the typing so Revelation Dance isn't redundant with Heat Wave and a more reliable alternative to Hurricane instead. Anyways, it looks somewhat considerable.
:Emboar::Crustle:
Crustboar: As said before, hits too hard if you ask me, it's probably fine and all, but just not in my taste at all.

Haxoking: So its ability is just Shield Dust or...? Anyways, looks considerable as a offensive mon given the tools it has regardless.
:Raichu::Gardevoir:
Gardechu: Eh... it kinda overlaps with Kokovoir, and its ability is too situational.
Also, please stop with the cringe overbolding of everything, it makes your sub harder to even check.
:Lanturn::Altaria:
Lantaria: It would be good if it wasn't passive, I would have moved the +20 on HP to SpA, and it would have been considerable this way, right now it's too eh.
:Castform::Shiftry:
Shiform: A offensive weather mon that fits in most of them looks considerable.

RIP Alakalix

Anyways, my opinions:

:emboar: :crustle:
This thing looks pretty powerful. It's able to utilize Shell Smash very well and it has a 134 attack stat, this thing is really powerful. It can also survive its recoil by leaving itself on 1 HP, making it a powerful Life Orb abuser. Sad typing tho.

:parasect: :coalossal:
Not too sure on my thoughts here but this could be a pretty nice Liquidation/Aqua Jet absorber, and it definitely wants to be under sun for that 4+ speed advantage.

:arctozolt: :victreebel:
abil.PNG

^ Sums this up pretty nicely, don't you think? Too much of a stretchy ability here.

:altaria: :charizard:
Really fast sun abuser with some bulk up its sleeve. Don't know what else to say, except: Why is it not named "Mega X, Mega Y, and Mega Z" respectively :psytear:

:sandslash-alola: :malamar:
Haha speedy boi go nyooom. This thing is really fast and it has good defensive bulk, not sure how this will affect the metagame that much.

Three weather abusers in one go. Sun is going to be crazy.

Excited for Sandamar. Arctovic’s ability is stretchy and I don’t like it.

#FreeTheFlames has been a resounding success, gg.

:emboar::crustle:
Trick Room finally has an abuser, and while it definitely needs some more, this is a good start. Otherwise, it’s a funny breaker that aims to force trades, and slow Shell Smash is a great tool to aid in that while also further punishing misplays vs more offensive builds. I like it, but I’m biased, so of course I do. Also,
:emboar: :crustle:

Life Orb, like other direct health cuts (later gen Struggle, Mind Blown, BDrum, etc.), is considered separate from recoil, so running it will just kill you after the ability activates.

:parasect::coalossal:
The coolest sun abuser, but that’s something that I am once again absolutely biased on, and because we have two other sun abusers I’m not going to say anything else here.

:arctozolt::victreebel:
For the record, I’m pretty sure that the ability’s using the mention of sun to relate to Fire-type moves like Grousle‘s Solar Panel does, but Grousle feels way less stretchy to me because Drought directly summons sun while Chlorophyll has a degree of separation from it, not to mention that Grousle’s a drop slate mon. Anyways, I feel like this one kinda gets screwed over by Paracoal existing, but running both is an option ig, with this being a better Kyottler check offensively while Paracoal’s checks it better defensively. Of course, having such careful and elaborate Kyottler prep on sun builds no longer matters when…

:charizard::altaria:
…this thing exists. Altarizard is the only addition this slate I dislike, and also one of my least favourite mons in the mod so far. If it were just Solar Power it would be fine, but the fact that its ability is active in any weather neutralizes sun (or any weather) counterplay that revolves around weather wars, and also takes it from a Mega Dracodoom competitor to something that likely outclasses it. It’s also able to act as a dedicated rain abuser with boosted Hurricanes, which sounds pretty disgusting, and while at least it and Kyottler share a Rock weakness, that hasn’t stopped Pelipper from being used alongside Hurricane spammers, has it?

:charizard-mega-x::altaria:
It’s just Charizard-Mega-X.

:charizard-mega-y::altaria:
It’s just Charizard-Mega-Y.

:charizard::altaria-mega:
A fast Fire-type Mega Altaria is somewhat interesting, but is “somewhat interesting” enough to make up for two boring megas and a base form that‘s detrimental to the meta? Nope.

:sandslash-alola::malamar:
Well, at least I get to end on a high note. I’m not too big on the fact that this is our twelfth (!) Steel, but at least it’s not defensive, and its ability makes it into one of the most unique setup mons in the mod imo. I’m glad to see this one finally get the attention it deserved though I still think Ice would have been cooler. No, that wasn’t a pun.

Crustboar: I quite like this one, its just an unga bunga attacker that is balanced because its a fire type without moldy, meaning a certain pokemon handles it nicely (i wonder who that would be??). It fits on some under represented hyper offense archetypes, such as TR and Screens, or even as a hazard stacker. also, if feuu 1v1 ever exists, this would be top tier in a heartbeat.

Paracoal: 1 of 3 sun abusers this slate, and my personal favorite. Mainly because it can actually prevent Kyottler from raining on sun's parade, bc it heals in rain and is immune/resists both of kyottler's stats.

Arctovic: 2 of 3 sun abusers this slate, and my personal 2nd favorite. Its fine, don't love it & also don't hate it. What i will bring up is,

Another type-immunity stretch controversy has arisen, and as the first one who discussed Grousle's grass immunity, i will share my input. Here's why I think Arctovic's Fire immunity is fine, while Grousle's Grass immunity is not fine. Sun as a weather blanket boosts all fire type attacks, while only changing how 2 grass type moves work (Solar Beam + Blade). Fire works much better as a Sun-based immunity because of this.

For detractors of Arctovic's fire immunity, should Grousle also be stripped of its fire immunity, to be consistent with Arctovic? This would leave it without any use of Drought in it's ability. Even though this is a competitive mod, ability flavor should be consistent, and a fire type immunity should not be removed from one without being removed from the other if just one of them is too stretchworthy.

As for Chlorophyll providing the Fire immunity and the Speed boost, there has never been a rule where exactly 1 aspect from 1 ability and exactly 1 aspect from the other had to be combined. For example, Noze has 3 ability effects: Magnet Pull + Prism Armor + 3/4 damage from Steel. It effectively does a "combined effects" while also adding a combination of the 2 (the steel from magnet pull, and the 3/4 from Prism Armor). Arctovic does the same thing, as it has 3 ability effects: Chlorophyll + Volt Absorb + Heals 25% when hit by Fire. It takes the "combined effects" while adding the 25% heal from Volt Absorb, and the Fire from Chlorophyll (which isn't a stretch).

As for the question of whether the Fire immunity on Arctovic is necessary, I also think it is. The fire type immunity provided by the non-stretchy ability prevents Arctovic, a Grass/Ice Sun abuser, to not get melted by opposing Fires that it struggles with without the situational Meteor Beam.

Altarizard: 3 of 3 sun abusers this slate, and my personal least favorite. basically I think a mon 3 megas will be really unfun to play against, especially since base is also very good. Out of the 3 mega forms, I think Y is broken (we had a whole discussion about self abusing sun setters, and we get one the very next slate lmao), with the other 2 being suspect.

Sandamar-Alola: banger mon in concept alone, hopefully it is actually good.

tldr: Crustboar, Paracoal, Sandamar good, Arctovic fine, Altarizard not fine (at least the megas), and Voltophyll should not be changed.

Ok let me post thoughts

:Emboar::crustle:
I think it's ok. Not sure if Shell Smash will as amazing as people think it will be (I still think its a tad bit slow), but it most certainly is a very, very powerful nuke button. Its nukes also eating away at its health also sucks, but it not being able to actually faint from recoil is very funky. People have been trying to get Trick Room to be a viable option for eons, so I think this thing does waves for that as well. Solid Pokémon, name a switch-in if you can / 10.

:Parasect::coalossal:
Sun now has sanic Spore. Anyway, an interesting pick for Sun teams, not being a bonafide sun breaker, but still being a great choice for speed control. It packing a Water immunity probably secures it's place as an anti measure for Primal Kyotter's dominance versus Sun, but definitely requires packing Stone Edge to make the most of it. Cool mon. Spore + 3A / 10.

:Arctozolt::Victreebel:
I think this Pokémon is the much more interesting (not necessarily better) Sun sweeper out of the two. I like the idea of alternative typings for sun abuse, and I think Mr Bolt Beak will certainly do its job. Growth + Ice Beam + Solar Beam / Giga Drain + Bolt Beak will perhaps ultimately become it's standard set, and its not hard to see why, with that +2 Bolt Beak basically being designed to not only nail Sun Annoyer™ Primal Kyotter, but should also be strong enough to muscle past Fire and Steel types that annoy the hell out of it. Alternatively, Weather Ball can be slotted over a move for Fire coverage, but I think what I suggested will eventually become the norm. Great mon, Balanced Bolt Beak / 10.

:Charizard::Altaria:
Nice mon. A great sun breaker, and its ability can be used to screw over PrimKyo by abusing its own Primal Weather against it. Its not as powerful as Charizard is in standard, but it is a tad bulkier, though that bulk only truly factors later on. It comes with 3 megas, but I'll go into them in a bit. But first...

:charizard::altaria:
Fuck Altaizard.

Let's get this out of the way. Weather Wars have never been the dominant means of checking opposing weathers, that's silly. Teams ways of handling sun consist of just the natural checks to Fire and Grass type abusers (Heatran and fat Dragons). But we have Primal Weather that does shut down Sun, and just like every other weather abuser that won, all of the winners have a means of winning the matchup. Rain doesn't exist as a playstyle, and using a Sand setter as a means of checking sun is a plain old bad idea (and unless you either sacrifice Specs to get the big wallbreaking power to make this mon worth it, or you make a very ballsy prediction, Altarizard loses to Pinchuritar regardless), so I do not see the checking weather with weather argument panning out here. It can operate under rain, so what? That doesn't mean Rain Offense is suddenly a playstyle, no Swift Swimmers exist. Weather Offense thrives because of the fast abusers. You can replicate the wallbreaking aspect of weather pretty easily, but that crucial speed needed to pressure offensive builds do not exist. I don't see how this Pokémon suddenly ruin the metagame as you put it, but if you have some more compelling arguments to put forward as to how it breaks sun, or breaks rain, or ruins the mod, I'm all ears ig.
Ok, moving on to megas.

Base Mega is cool, and is surprisingly the frailest one out of all of them statwise. It can perform special breaking sets well and can do some DDance sweeping. This thing also technically gets Swords Dance and Quick Attack, so enjoy that.

Mega X is a Mega Charizard X that trades power for bulk, and thanks to that trade off, it can exploit some of the more forgotten variant sets that CharX has abandoned in main, naming its defensive pivot set which utilizes its great typing to check a variety of threats.

Char Y is just weaker Charizard Y, and faces pretty much the same issues and carries the same strengths over from main. Powerful Fire type breaker, held in check by the multitude of Pokémon that check Fire types here just like in main.

Overall, surprised at the controversy, especially at the BASE form of all things. Good mon, apparently ruins the meta / 10.

:Sandslash-Alola::Malamar:
Webs beware, your greatest enemy has appeared. Anyways, this thing winning completely surprised me, but I'm glad, physical Quiver Dance is very cool. Physical Quiver Dance is also held in check a lot easier than regular Quiver Dance due to natural extra checks and balances to physical attackers, so we should probably not be worried here. I look forward to seeing this Pokémon showcase on offensive teams as a scary late game sweeper, I think we needed more of those. Very cool mon, Physical Quiver Dance / 10.

Nice.

big three
these mons achieved absurd winrates at above 85%. dracolix came out of the gate swinging (biting? rending?) with its stealth rocks sets, and weezlord is still a strong mon despite its recent nerf. ninjacross is a big surprise but you probably have to blame earl G-Luke and/or zxgzxg for that

burnout
despite its hype sun teams featuring leafdon performed poorly. perhaps it was players entirely expecting it but it seems that the fears that leafdon is a passive and ineffective sun setter are accurate. semisun teams were better with arctovic getting a 46.67% winrate

miscellaneous losers
these mons got above average usage but poor winrates. buzzegg has to be inaccurate theres nothing about it that suggests 18% winrate

i'd probably take these stats with a grain of salt because i don't think they reflect the meta well at all. ninjacross and dracolix are not instant win agents and flygalge (with its 0% winrate) is not absolute garbage.
