Role Justification: Driftula is designed to switch in, set Sticky Web, lose its focus sash, and go fast. Alternatively, it can run Electric Seed with support from Kokovoir to do pretty much the same thing, but stronger and more reliable. Compound Eyes makes Thunder actually somewhat reliable, so it will do pretty good damage as well. Its Ghost typing also lets it spinblock.

Role Justification: Ferruk's main niche comes from its ability, enabling it to deal additional chip damage with its contact moves. Gyro Ball is its primary STAB, due to its dismally low Speed and access to Curse. Power Whip can be used to hit Ground-types, and Stone Edge can be used to hit Fire-types. Poison Jab is likely used over Gunk Shot due to the latter not making contact. It also has standard Ferrothorn utility, namely Leech Seed and Stealth Rock. If allowed to set up, it can tear massive holes in the opponent's team.

Loudgon: Its a pretty alright Wallbreaker. Boomburst isn't exactly a scary thing on its own, and I think its well balanced stats are enough to level it out.

Grapploom: alr pick. Its essentially better Breloom with Dark coverage and trapping, so it's a bit annoying. Still, plenty of natural checks to it are running around.

Grapsir Base is strictly outclassed by Ninjacross, while it's Mega has a funky relationship with Mega Vullacham ala Mega Medi x Mega Gallade has in main.

Driftula: The stat allocation sucks hard here. Its so frail and has 20 Atk points for no reason. That being said, it has the makings of a great zap terrain abuser with Unburden + Rising Voltage, so capitalize on that.

Ferruk: Firstly Knock Off is it's main STAB. Secondly this ability is very obnoxious, guaranteeing 1 8 chip gets problematic really fast and is in general not a fun time to face.

This one got just a bit of traction so i think it's worth resubbing

Intended Role: Hazard Setter (Sticky Web), Choice Specs
Role Justification: we actually don't have a dedicated web setter, (aside from webs kyottler) so I decided to make one. It's basically just bulkier galvantula. It has a decent (and unique) defensive typing, and the added bulk from goodra means it can switch into a few hits rather than just being a suicide lead.
This also benefits from the accuracy boost from its ability alongside Goodra's expansive special movepool, allowing it to run the likes of Focus Blast, Hydro Pump and Fire Blast without much fear of missing, allowing for a potential Specs set.
However, this lacks reliable recovery, and so can be worn down over the course of a match, but its high speed ensures that webs will be set up, provided magic bounce isn't in the way.

Role Justification: this is a bulky setup sweeper that sets itself apart from the like of Kokovoir due to its relatively niche typing and bulkier stat spread. it has moderate recovery via Life Dew and WishTect, and can Teleport other allies in safely. having status transferred to the opponent via its ability means it can switch into things like Will-o-wisp and Toxic, and it being removed at he end of the turn means it doesn't take massive poison damage from Toxic either. Sleep, however, can and will last, and won't transfer to the opponent, so be cautious of that. the downside is that it's fairly slow, and recovery is slow at best, so it is prone to getting worn down over time.

Role Justification: this is meant to be a Abuser for hail teams, essentially functioning like a Special Weavile. while just barely not as fast, under Hail it essentially gains Solar Power effects without the damage drawback, and considering how Hail is, it needs all the help it can get. this does get one thing that Weavile doesn't however, and that is U-turn, allowing for it to be a fast pivot, especially with a Choice Item. however, doing so will require good hazard control as you'll be weak to Stealth Rocks if you aren't running Boots.

(but of course it is, it's Clef) it's got a large movepool and decent stats to work with, allowing it to run a variety of sets. it can be utility with Stealth Rock, use Wish + Teleport to heal allies, basically everything clef can do already. what's different from clef is the ability, which grants it Unaware when attacking in addition to Sheer Force's effects, access to Scorching Sands, which allows for burns, and its decent defensive typing, giving it a Toxic immunity.

Role Justification: Everyone is Urshifu now. with every move being a critical hit and never missing, it can ignore defensive setup on opponents that might otherwise be a problem. it also has a (currently) unique typing, albeit one that is 4x weak to ground. since this effect applies to both pokemon, it's gonna be hard for this to live more than one hit, if at all, making it a glass cannon. you also have the opition of running some form of hazard on Choice sets, similar to how Greninja will occasionally run Spikes on a specs set when it's facing a pokemon that cannot stay in on it, though this comes at the cost of coverage.

Galva: Its pretty much the least interesting Electric/Dragon sub done so far. At least it has webs.

Goodevoir: I like the typing on this mon. Tbh I am not sure what it does role wise, but I am a fan of the typing. The Mega is a very interesting take on Garde.

Moltales Other than it being the fastest hail setter submitted (great for Veil) it has not much else going for it imo. Its one of the least interesting picks.

Drap: A shame this isn't really fast, as I think this Pokémon is much too frail to ever viably pull off this strat in an offense heavy meta.

Clefqueen: Essentially a sf wallbreaker ala Nidoqueen/King but it's a chonky girl. Hits pretty hard if its going Modest as it should. A tip, ax the physical moves + Scorching Sands and mention Sludge Wave in it's Notable Moves.

A sweeper
Nagama: Tbh I do not know what to say about this mon. All of the scary snowballing power but a much worse offensive AND defensive typing, not to mention stats.

Gooct: I respect the Fisheous + Gooey idea you are going for, but most physical moves either hit it SE, do not make contact or are Knock and Uturn, so the baseline interactions are not as practical as you would think.

Walca: Very scary here. I think its too strong an addition for an already strong playstyle in Sand. I suggest just make its ability better Slush Rush instead.

Mr Vanilla: I take it back this is the most boring Hail setter subbed. This is basically an NU Pokémon.

Volkrom: Do yourself a favor and replace Voltorb with Electrode, or a different weaker Electric.

Role Justification: A very powerful wallbreaker. Despite only having 111 base attack, Pecking Order basically gives Swannamence temporary Intrepid Sword, which allows it to click one of its STABs to great effect. Due to it being a drop on the opponent, rather than a self boost, this ability cannot be blocked by Unaware pokemon like Volquag. Jelliswine is annoying because of the Water resistance, but it can be beaten by Flying type attacks.

Common physical checks like Hattaka and Corveot will be able to do well in switching in and dispatching Tyranizard, due to resisting either or both stabs, or being just super fucking bulky. The buffed Brontun will also be quite helpful in checking it. Outspeeding it and having a decent stab move will likely scare it out, since it isn’t too bulky.

As a little announcement, Council has noted that

Frozerade's stats were incorrectly documented all the way back in FEOU. By FEOU rules, it's missing 10 points in Special attack. this will be fixed in the next patch., getting now 112 Special Attack.

Lastly, we have a new rule update. Much like how fusing two identical abilities results in a +5 Stat Bonus all around, now if you fuse an ability with Illuminate, Run Away, Ball Fetch or Honey Gather, you'll get the original ability and the same +5 Stat Bonuses. So, for an exemple, Poison Touch + Run Away would result in Poison Touch with the fusion getting +5 bonuses all around. In case any of Illuminate, Run Away, Ball Fetch or Ball Fetch are fused with eachother, the fusion will get +10 Bonus Stats instead to make up for having an ability with no effect.

Ik we already have a sand setter but this is very bad at setting sand for teammates so idt they compete. STABs alongside Earthquake and Ice Hammer let it beat stuff like Mesflame, Heatki, Tanette, Glidol, Roaramp, Ferros, Dracolix, Toucosta and Brontun pretty consistently while still pressuring mons such as Mega Cofazor, Buzzeggutor, Corveot, Tentoxys, Hattaka, Mega Absable Y and Dusking.

Gigacrab struggles against offense though, pretty much always moving last and getting hit super-effectively by a large portion of the meta (Notably, Earthquake and Scald). Abysmal Speed also means that walls have a chance to heal themselves or cripple it before it can damage them back.

Poison Touch also makes it all the more difficult to switch into, since the opponent risks getting Poisoned. Not only that, but a wrong prediction on the foe's end might lead to Moxie activating, turning Croakodile into a very hard-hitting machine. As mentioned earlier, it's best friends with Fusture Sight Kingdeedee, functioning in a similar way to what Urshifu used to do.

Role Justification: Uses Serene Grace Liquidation to get its own version of Fire Lash. Its typing may not be the best but the constant def drops alongside pretty nice coverage allows it to beat a bunch of mons that Water usually might struggle against, such as Ferros, Brontun or Flygalge. However it struggles with some Pokémon such as Tanette and Corveot, who are immune to stat drops, and to Dracolix for its natually high defense and Water immunity. Samursaws can be very hard to switch into thanks to the defense drop and Swords Dance though, potentially threatening common walls like Toucosta or Dracolix to think twice before switching in.

Razor shell is an alternate to liquidation that trades power for more consistent def drops, although Liquidation remains superior most of the time.

Role Justification: A Poison/Fairy type with recovery options like Strength Sap that serves as a half-passive Moonblast/Sludge Bomb attacker with Effect Spore and Spore for crippling enemies. It has a decent Special Attack stat so it can deal effective damage as well, but it dies against Steel-types, mainly Hattaka, and fast Psychic-types, but on the bright side it would be able to fight a fair matchup against Weezlord-Galar and most Fighting-types, save for Miemie as that is also a fast psychic type. It would also have to be careful around Ground-types, considering it is weak against them.

Volt Switch also complements choiced sets to pivot out and keep momentum, and Swords Dance lets it just 2HKO away switch-ins like Brontun with Bite.

Role Justification: Skill Link turns Water Shuriken into a consistent 75BP move with +1 priority, this combined with a decent movepool turns this mon into a solid offensive option, after KOing a mon it also changes form and becomes a totally dangerous mon with obscene offenses, however, because of how Battle Bond works, after transforming Water Shuriken only lands thrice and each hits lands as 20BP, thus making it a 60BP priority STAB instead, and a lack of special Flying STAB means that it may even just skip it at times in favor of a physical set, and a SR weakness does no favors either. Swords Dance also helps physical sets to KO a mon. Overall it's a funny strong mon.

Role Justification: This is a very versatile mon. (but of course it is, it's Clef) it's got a large movepool and decent stats to work with, allowing it to run a variety of sets. it can be utility with Stealth Rock, use Wish + Teleport to heal allies, basically everything clef can do already.
what's different from clef is the ability, which grants it Unaware when attacking in addition to Sheer Force's effects, access to Scorching Sands, which allows for burns, and its decent defensive typing, giving it a Toxic immunity and the ability to absorb Toxic Spikes.
it also separates itself from Flygalge with its capability to set Stealth Rock and Toxic Spikes, which Flygalge typically doesn't have the slots for Toxic Spikes and cannot set Stealth Rock.

with every move being a critical hit and never missing, it can ignore defensive setup on opponents that might otherwise be a problem. it also has a (currently) unique typing, albeit one that is 4x weak to ground.
since this effect applies to both pokemon, it's gonna be hard for this to live more than one hit, if at all, making it a glass cannon.
you also have the option of running some form of hazard on Choice sets, similar to how Greninja will occasionally run Spikes on a specs set for when facing pokemon that cannot stay in on it.

Role Justification: This is a Physical attacker that uses its great bulk to tank hits and rip holes in the opposing team. it has Stealth Rock for hazard setting, and Swords Dance for extra power. it also has a fairly unique typing that is only similar to Ultra Noze.
it can soak the occasional Grass attack for extra attack as well, and solid rock reduces the amount of damage it takes from SE hits.
it can tank hits from Altarizard, but Scorching Sands remains a problem. Gossephalon likeley has a hard time with it due to its Fire STAB being resisted and Grass being absorbed by Rock Eater. Fire types in general will have a hard time getting past it.
the downsides of this is that it has poor speed, so it gets threatened by Ninjacross and the like, a meh defensive typing, and it has no recovery, meaning it can get worn down over time.

Role Justification: This is another Physical attacker, but one that focuses on speed rather than bulk. with 121 base attack and 104 speed, it's good at applying pressure.
Bulk Up allows it to setup upon forcing something out, Close Combat allows it a way of dealing with the likes of Heatki who would otherwise absorb its Fire STAB, and its STAB combo gives it a great matchup against Corveot, and its ability increases the power of its Fire and Electric moves further if hit by either.
its main weakness is mediocre bulk and a 4x weakness to Ground, meaning the likes of Glidol can force it out fairly easily.

Role Justification: this Pokemon is a fast special attacker with a unique typing that allows it to threaten Dark types like Weezlord and Dracodoom, Fightings like Clawliwrath and Tornachamp, and Poisons like Eeluk, Slowton, and Flygalge, and is matched only by Silvino-Fairy-Mega (and formerly, Hattaka).
it has a unique way of spreading burns, as by using a flame orb coupled with a sound move, it can burn opponents without resorting to things like Mesflame's Leviflame and Will-o-wisp. it can even hit opponents through Substitutes, and any status on you can be healed by Heal Bell. (y'know, provided you don't have an orb equipped.)
while you could spread Toxic Poison via Toxic Orb, it's going to wear you down very quickly, and there is no Paralysis Orb, so spreading paralysis is inconsistent.
the downsides to this are that Psychic/Fairy is a meh defensive typing, it's very frail physically, and due to how high the speed ceiling is for this metagame, it's gonna get out-sped by a lot of things.
