G-Luke's Ideal World V3 [Major Patch]

Status
Not open for further replies.
Disarming Voice - Works like Taunt, but instead of affecting Status moves, it affects damaging moves.
I find this one a bit broken due to its capability of making Choiced sets shit (well, unless you run Scarf Defog or something like that). An effect it could have for not being much uncompetitive could be to make the target to not being able to use super effective hits.

HOW does Extreme Speed fit on Escavalier. I would recommend changing it by either Bullet Punch or Gyro Ball instead.
Yeah It's has a dex entry saying "They fly around at high speed, striking with their pointed spears" in black. Also It just fits with it's design in my opinion were it is slow normally but can lunge really quickly. I forgot it does not get gyro ball cause it would be perfect for it though I'm not sure about the idea of bullet punch cause it would be more of a stab and it could make it too similar to scizor.

One thing i've noticed is that SnorLAX doesn't have access to Slack Off yet, and that's surprising due to Snorlax being G-Luke's favourite mon :p. I'll add real thoughts or something later.
Not a stretch. I had thought the same thing when I had made a Snorlax submission for Normal-type Type Optimization pet mod (that submission had even won) which I had given Slack Off iirc.

I fucking hate this mon but I like using it, so yeah, buff here:

110 Hp (+9)/50 Atk (-22)/90 Def (+18)/110 SpA (+11)/110 SpD (+21)/30 Spe (+1)/500 BST (+38)
New Moves: Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Clear Smog, Roost, Heat Wave (both given to Spritzee)
Abilities: Healer/Corrosion/Aroma Veil
The poison type comes from the thing it's based on, a plague doctor. The new moves are obvious, some basic poison STABs and Clear Smog, which for some reason it doesn't learn. Yeah, that was all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯...nope, i have more shit :]

+12 Hp
+Hyper Cutter
+Sacred Sword
Well, now this guy has an actual ability to compete with MMedi, and, aside of that, it also helps it to deal with shit like Curse or Bulk Up abusers or mons with Intimidate like the ever-present Lando-T. Its also useful for switching into bulky water mons that just spam Scald for burns or even W-O-W abusers.

+ 5 Hp, +10 SpD
+ Unaware
+ Rapid Spin, Stored Power, Heal Bell
No more completely outclassed by Toxapex. Its new ability lets it to reliably stop physical set up sweepers of the tier like Hawlucha, DD Zard X & Ttar-mega, Zygarde, etc. Its new supportive moves can also help it to do something outside of walling, being one of the few good Rapid Spinners in OU and Refresh for curing itself and its teammates.

+5 Def, +20 Spe
+Spectral Plane, Volt Switch, Focus Blast
The new typing is because, well, it's literally based on a failed/infected computer programm, which explains the Electric/Ghost typing. Anyawys, at competitive gaming, its typing is really difficult to hard wall, and the few mons that can take its hits are taken by Focus Blast and Ice Beam. It also gives PZ STAB on Volt Switch, letting it to act also as a Choice items abuser outside just being a set-up sweeper.
Psycho Cut |
|
| 90 BP | 15 PP | 100 Acc | High critical ratio. | Z-Move: 175 BP Shattered Psyche
Great STAB for physically offensive oriented Pokemon like Gallade-Mega, Medicham-Mega, Metagross, MMX, etc (wow, those are lots of megas).

Night Slash |
|
| 90 BP | 15 PP | 100 Acc | High critical ratio. | Z-Move: 175 BP Blackhole Eclipse
Great STAB for physically offensive oriented Pokemon like, ehm, duuhh, well, it should be used rather as a coverage option than a STAB move.

Girafarig
Psychic/Dark
Parental Bond/Strong Jaw/Sap Sipper
70/80/65/100/95/105
+Dark Pulse +Psychic Fangs +Poison Fang +Parting Shot

Parental Bond is stated to only go on Kang in the OP, but yeah, it would otherwise fit. No objections here.

Kricketune
Bug/Dark
Technician/Tough Claws/Moxie
77/115/71/95/71/105
+U-turn +Pursuit +Boomburst +Quick Attack

Why Dark? Why not Bug/Normal for a unique typing with STAB Boomburst? Also, why not Cacophony instead of Moxie? Otherwise, no objections.

Poliwrath
Contrary/Water Absorb/Water Veil
100/100/95/70/90/90
+Hammer Arm +Crabhammer +Superpower +Liquidation

I'd go with Own Tempo rather than Water Veil. Also, losing Swift Sim is unfortunate. Otherwise, no objections.

Chimecho
Ghost/Psychic
Pixelate
75/50/80/95/100/80
+Boomburst +Ice Beam +Thunderbolt +Moonblast

I think Steel fits better than Ghost. Also, is Pixelate just there for triple STAB? Why not Rattled as it's a bell? For similar reasons (and because it is Psychihc), Forewarn. Otherwise no objections.

Rampardos
Rock
Mold Breaker/Sheer Force/Rock Head
97/165/80/65/50/78
+Dragon Dance +Flare Blitz +Wild Charge +Dragon Hammer

Great, but I think Reckless fits even better than Rock Head.

Bastiodon
Rock/Steel
Soundproof/Bulletproof/Steelworker
60/92/168/47/138/30
+King's Shield +Punishment +Gyro Ball +Wild Charge

Trying to turn this into Stakatata 2.0? I think Stamina fits more than Steelworker, but I understand the desire to up Gyro Ball's daage output.

Pachirisu
Electric
Wimp Out/Prankster/Volt Absorb
90/75/90/85/120/95
+Encore +Parabolic Charge +Pain Split +Nasty Plot

Maybe consider Cheek Pouch instead of Wimp Out? Otherwise, no objections.

Vespiquen
Bug
Queenly Majesty
70/118/132/118/102/40
+Quiver Dance +Hurricane +Leech Life +Rapid Spin

This looks great.

Cherrim
Grass
Flower Gift
70/60/95/87/103/85
+Moonblast + Flamethrower +Overheat +Sludge Bomb

Cherrim-Sun
Grasss/Fire
Flower Gift
70/60/70/142/78/140

Same.

Lumineon
Water/Fairy
Swift Swim/Storm Drain/Drizzle
69/69/76/106/86/91
+Moonblast +Quiver Dance +Hurricane +Moonlight

Same.

Simipour
Water
Gluttony/Flare Boost/Storm Drain
87/98/63/128/93/101
+Moonblast +Steam Eruption +Aura Sphere +Thunderbolt

Simisear
Fire
Gluttony/Sheer Force/Flash Fire
87/88/83/128/83/101
+Searing Shot +Sludge Bomb +Aura Sphere +Fiery Dance

Simisage
Grass
Gluttony/No Guard/Sap Sipper
87/128/93/98/63/101
+Trop Kick +Spiky Sheild +High Jump Kick +Power Whip

Not sure where the abilities are coming from for these monkeys. How about Illusion (See no evil), Soundproof (Hear no evil) and Liquid Voice (Speak no evil) spread between them along with giving each Justified?

Zebstrika
Electric/Fire
Reckless/Motor Drive/Iron Barbs
75/123/63/80/83/136
+Zing Zap +Flare Blitz +Jump Kick +High Horsepower

Why does everyone always want to make Zeb part Fire? I think Fairy makes more sense for the spiky hair we can call a pre-unicorn horn. Also, is Iron Barbs for the spiky hair? I'd suggest Sap Sipper instead.

Unfezant
Normal/Flying
Unburden/Intimadate/Unaware
132/115/90/65/55/113
+High Jump Kick +Brave Bird +Punishment +Knock Off

Unfezant is something I'd want to go the Meowstic way with, with at least the male getting Fairy/Flying typing and Dazzling. Also, where does Unaware come from? Maybe Simple instead for the female (to match her drab colours).

Swanna
Water/Flying
No Guard/Swift Swim/Gale Wings
85/87/73/107/103/98

I think Queenly Majesty fits better than No Guard, not otherwise sure.

Passimian
Fighting
Unburden/Defiant/Scrappy
100/120/90/40/75/95
+Seed Bomb +Leech Seed +Agility +Natural Gift

This works well.

Oranguru
Normal/Psychic
Psychic Surge/Natural Cure/Analytic
100/60/80/100/120/60
+Parting Shot +Leech Seed +Spore +Strength Sap

I think Spore is a bit much, but otherwise cool.

Shiinotic
Stats: 80 (+20) / 45 / 100 (+20) / 105 (+15) / 115 (+15) / 40 (+10) (485)
Abilities: -Triage, +Cursed Body
Type:
OR

New Moves: +Will-O-Wisp, Shadow Ball, Hex, Shadow Sneak, Nightmare, Spectral Plane, Haunted Strike, Sludge Wave, -Draining Kiss
Overview: I figured Grass/Ghost or Ghost/Poison would be nice for Shiinotic because A. it's better than Grass/Fairy B. The dex describes Shiinotic doing scary shit at night and C. It looks terrifying, almost like a zombie. I also gave it some stat buffs because 405 bst is ass for a non-starting area 2 stage evo. I removed Triage because that would probably be a tad much on this.

Type: Null
Stats: 95 / 85 (-10) / 90 (-5) / 75 (-20) / 90 (-5) / 55 (-4) (490)
Abilities: -Battle Armor, +Download
Type:

New Moves: +Multi-Attack, Curse
Multi-Attack: When used by Type: Null: 80 BP, ??? type
Other changes: Type: Null no longer evolves into Silvally, now considered form change like Hoopa, therefore cannot use Eviolite
Overview: Hey, let's make Type: Null something other than a worse Porygon2. The drastic stat nerf + Eviolite loss is compensated with a type with no weaknesses and an attack with no resists. This makes it an extremely volatile set-up mono attacker that makes even Vincune shudder.

Bastiodon
Stats: 100 (+40) / 85 (+33) / 165 (-3) / 5 (-42) / 135 (-3) / 5 (-25) (495)
Abilities: +Iron Barbs OR Stamina
Type:

New Moves: +Pain Split, King's Shield, Crafty Shield, Spiky Shield, Flower Shield, Spikes, Volt Switch, Gyro Ball, Super Fang, Crunch, Fire Fang, Ice Fang, Thunder Fang
Overview: Here's a fun game: Making Bastiodon usable without changing its type or giving it a BST raise. The result is this mess of a stat spread. Basically, I tried to compensate for its crappy type by giving it Cresselia-tier defenses, usable offensive presence and some more good moves, including semi-usable recovery in Pain Split. I gave it a bunch of shield moves because it's a walking shield and needs more moves to not suck ass.

Rampardos
Stats: 100 (+3) / 145 (-20) / 70 (+10) / 30 (-35) / 70 (+10) / 80 (+22)
Abilities: +Reckless, Moxie, -Sheer Force
Type:

New Moves: Dragon Dance, Submission, Head Charge, Accelerock, Knock Off
Overview: I made Bastiodon not terrible, now for Rampardos. Basically, it can either be a discount Tyrantrum with priority and Moxie as small niches, or it can be a Choice Band wallbreaker that can do retarded crap like this:

252+ Atk Choice Band Reckless Rampardos Head Smash vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 156-183 (44.3 - 51.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery

Furfrou
Stats: 80 (+5) / 90 (+10) / 60 / 65 / 95 (+5) / 105 (+3) (495)
Alternate haircuts: -10 Def and SpD, +10 Atk and Spe, -Fur Coat, +Dazzling
Abilities: No changes
Type:

New Moves: -Cotton Guard, +Cut, Gunk Shot, Brick Break, Tail Slap, Slack Off, Swords Dance
Cut: Turns into different moves depending on Furfrou's haircut.
Normal: Cotton Guard (Only one not trimmed and with lots of unkempt fur)
Dandy: Baton Pass (Based on a performer)
Debutant: First Impression (Debutants are performers making their debut, First Impression ties into this)
Diamond: Diamond Storm (self-explanatory)
Heart: Heart Stamp (also self-explanatory)
Kabuki: Dragon Dance (Kabukis are a type of Japanese dancers, Dragons are related to Asia and every other Dance move sucks so there's that)
Lareine: Instruct (Based on a queen or high ranking french official)
Matron: Heal Pulse (Matrons are female doctors in boarding schools)
Pharaoh: Curse (Mummy's Curse)
Star: Tail Glow (just thought this would be funny, also stars glow i guess)

Overview: Just a silly fun mon with lots of moves to choose from with each form.

Ok, now seriously, some thoughts about the new buffs:
-I think that Houndoom-Mega can get a better ability than Weak Armor, like the 100 times mentioned Stakeout or even Drought (although it would be outclassed by Zard Y as a mega sun setter).
-Volt Switch Wish Regenerator Fabio sounds great as a bulky pivot, giving it another niche aside of being a Tail Glow sweeper.
-Primarina completely outclasses Vaporeon as a bulky Water-type outside of its superior Physical bulk and access to Heal Bell and Haze, but I'm not sure what could I do to distinguish them.
-Sylveon is now a beast: offensively it can just spam Boomburst mindlessly, while defensively can tank almost every Special attacker with Unnerve.
-Now the Zards are great again: Zard X is a fast DD sweeper with a very spammable STAB on Fire Lash, while Zard Y is fast too and now posseses an actual Flying STAB.

Lickilicky
Stats: 110 / 105 (+20) / 95 / 80 / 95 / 80 (535)
Abilities: -Own Tempo, Oblivious, Cloud Nine, +Corrosion, Long Reach, Poison Touch
Type:

New Moves: +Lick, Drain Punch, Superpower, Clear Smog, Poison Jab, Gunk Shot, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave
Lick: 75 BP, Poison, traps opponents, 20% chance to paralyze (Physical Poison Spirit Shackle clone), distribution reduced to Gengar, Lickilicky and Greninja lines
Overview: While I'm not the biggest fan of gratuitous dual typings (seriously wtf is up with ice/fighting beartic), I think Normal/Poison fits for Lickilicky due to its tongue having poisonous properties according to the dex, on top of just being a really cool and unusual type. All of its current abilities are awful, so I replaced them with some new, better, more fitting ones.

Fearow
Stats: 65 / 100 (+10) / 65 / 61 / 64 (+3) / 130 (+30) (485)
Abilities: -Reckless, Keen Eye, +Moxie, Unaware
Type:

New Moves: Superpower, Swords Dance
Overview: Fearow deserves more than just being a Dollar Tree Staraptor. Now it can be an amazing cleaner VS offense. Unaware seems weird, until you realize it ignores opposing stat boosts when attacking. Cosmic Power spam, begone!

And last but not least...

Farfetch'd
Stats: 92 (+40) / 95 (+5) / 70 (+15) / 78 (+20) / 77 (+15) / 100 (+40) (512)
Abilities: -Keen Eye, +Hyper Cutter
Type:

New Moves: +Sacred Sword, Secret Sword, Close Combat, Gale Slice
Gale Slice: 80 BP, Flying type, Physical, +1 Priority, boosted by Hyper Cutter
Given to: Farfetch'd, Gliscor line, Aerodactyl
Overview: After years of scorn and mockery, Farfetch'd has trained and honed his skills and become an incredible sword fighter. His mighty leek shall slash through all that stands in his way. Even the Swords of Justice fear the day they must come face-to-face against his trusty blade.

Other minor adjustments
-10 SpA
540 BST is a wee high for this thing.

-Snow Warning, +Slush Rush
It's a Leafeon counterpart, why not give it the weather ability that contrasts with Chlorophyll? We need more Slush Rushers anyway.

90/110/90/110/90/110 (600)
Multi-Attack: 95 or 100 BP
105 across the board is not really all that interesting, and I don't like how it goes over the 600 benchmark. Multi-Attack could use a buff now that it has a ton of new moves it has to compete with.

Stealth Rock: On switch-in, does 10% damage, damage does not vary based on type
fuck stealth rocks

Vaporeon and Primarina serve to fill two very different roles on a team, and are situated in two different tiers. Vaporeon would utilize Liquid Voice defensively, switching in on the likes of Chatot and Exploud alot easier than they could before, and Haze can be used to beat set up sweepers. Primarina is a wallbreaking monster that can also be a terrifying Trick Room sweeper.

Houndoom-Mega isnt being buffed to be great in OU, and it isn't a bad pick in OU now. Its primarily supposed to be much more threatening in a UU based tier, as pivoting into a weak U-Turn or Knock Off can instantly make it a terror for offense to face.. Also Stakeout probably would be broken.

I don't wanna squeeze your own Pet Mod CFM by implimenting some of these changes (I would idealy want them to operate as two very different metas). But I agree with Glaceon getting Slush Ruzh (#HailHype). I like the 105 across the board stat line, as it makes the mini Arceus feel more real. And it makes sure to not give Silvally any clear bias towards offence or defense. Due to the moves it recieves, many types would still want to run Multi-Attack as it doesn't get any of the other alternatives.

OU sets

Aerodactyl @ Aerodactylite
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Unnerve / Rock Head
Jolly Nature
- Head Smash
- Paleo Strike
- Aqua Tail
- Fire Fang / Earthquake

If Ideal UU becomes a thing, this will be quickbanned instantly, and its so great right now OU will be sure to snatch it up. Tough Claws Head Smash hits like a nuke, and STAB Tough Claws Paleo Strike eliminates any Grass types that think eating its physical STAB is the way to go. Fire Fang is now almost as strong as Earthquake, and also gets bonus points for smacking Celes, Skarm and Ferro hard.

Vikavolt @ Electrium Z
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Ability: Battery
Quiet Nature
- Thunder
- Bug Buzz
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power [Ice]

Why am i highlighting a NU bug that is out sped by Emboar? Because Trick Room. With Room Extender and four auto setters, Trick Room offence is a very viable strat. And Vikavolt rules under Trick Room. With Battery functioning as a Electric Steelworker, it allows its Electric based attacks to hit extremely hard. While its stats might be middling otherwise, Vikavolt is still viable as a Trick Room sweeper. Look at this calc for starters

252+ SpA Vikavolt Gigavolt Havoc (185 BP) vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Ferrothorn in Electric Terrain: 181-213 (51.4 - 60.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

UU sets

Archeops @ Choice Band / Choice Scarf
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Ability: Vital Spirit
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge / Boulder Bash
- Paleo Strike
- Earthquake
- U-Turn

Archeops has a very underutilized movepool and can probably fill a massive amount of roles, but I will be focusing on wallbreaking / revengekilling. With Mega Aero departing, Archeops can swoop in and fill its void (It heavily outclasses vanilla Aero in my opinion). With a Band, Archeops can 2HKO almost everything in the metagame, and access to Accelerock means revengekilling it is not easy. Choice Scarf turns Archeops into a great revengekiller, with its fast 110 speed tier. its extremely frail however, and can be ko'ed by any strong neutral attack.

Milotic @ Milotite
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Ability: Competitive
Bold Nature
- Recover
- Scald
- Haze / Moonblast / Refresh
- Toxic / Mirror Coat / Moonblast / Ice Beam

Milotic is just a monster, and while I doubt it can stay in a UU based meta (it takes special hits better than Blissey at full HP), its still fun to theorymon. Milotic serves as a fantastic Pokémon on balance builds thanks to it being a blanket check to most special attackers.

Yung Dramps

awesome gaming
I don't have much time, so I'll highlight two sets which I think have great synergy with one another.

Silvally-Steel @ Steel Memory / Steelium Z
Ability: RKS System
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Shift Gear
- Sleep Powder
- Multi-Attack / Iron Head
- Stomping Tantrum

This thing has way too many good sets and I won't even begin wasting my time trying to make all of them (I wanna highlight other mons after all) but I will show off this thing, which is basically Klinklang 2.0. Put foe to sleep, set up, kill everything. Your typing and bulk makes RKing a daunting task for anything not named Lando-T or wielding a strong Mach Punch or Vacuum Wave. You don't really need speed investment anyway, since Shift Gear makes up for that.

Carnivine @ Choice Band
Ability: Arena Trap
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Power Whip
- Ice Fang
- Leafage
- Fire Fang / Defog

With the Arena Trap change, Carnivine suddenly becomes an extremely valuable Pokemon on Ground-weak teams, and a great partner for sweepers like Silvally-Steel and Terrakion who really fear strong Ground types. Power Whip and Leafage don't need explaining, and Ice Fang can snipe choice-locked / bulky Landos. The last move is your choice: Fire Fang for Steel types or Defog for extra role compression.

As great as they are, I don't think any of these are viable in OU. Before set up its outsped by a fully invested mon with a base 63 speed stat, which means stuff can blow past it or take out huge chunks of health before it even moves. Not to mention that its outsped by any choice scarfed mon with a speed stat above 100, so it can be easily revengekilled. Not to mention that its deadweight against stall. I suggest running some speed on it at the very least, and try running this in a lower based tier at best. Carnivine's problem is that it simply can't trap OU's Ground types.

0 Atk Landorus-Therian U-turn vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Carnivine: 180-212 (61.4 - 72.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

vs

-1 252 Atk Choice Band Carnivine Power Whip vs. 252 HP / 240+ Def Landorus-Therian: 135-160 (35.3 - 41.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery

The only Ground type it reliably traps is Mega Swampert, and thats only outside of rain, as if its in rain it outspeeds and does this

252+ Atk Swampert-Mega Ice Punch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Carnivine: 256-302 (87.3 - 103%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Not saying that that they are ass in general now, its just they don't work well enough in OU (ideal or otherwise)

-1 252 Atk Choice Band Garchomp Dual Chop (2 hits) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 144-170 (45.1 - 53.2%) -- approx. 24.6% chance to 2HKO +20% + possible 10% on U-Turn
