And yet sadly I doubt this will do much on the people who have already decided that it was true and used it to attack the people who they were gonna attack anyways. Seriously, Genwunners have become such a boogieman in this fandom. You never really see them much yet you have plenty of fans who are willing to blame literally everything they don't like with the franchise on them.

I've seen people talk about Cyrus but it was in this weird small sheet, this is like an actual written story from his perspective.
I found where the Google translate thinks he has autism though, and that is debunked.

It started out as a Pokemon called Bee and then they changed it to Kamomeeru (portmanteau of Kamome (seagull) and potentially mail).
A lot of the beta Pokemon in gen 3 don't feel very exclusive and a lot of concepts were split up into little pieces and reused later. It being reused for Illumise in spirit is not crazy.
Thing I have to wonder is how far into development Water Bunny's line got before it got scrapped. How would its design have worked anatomically, how would it change as it evolved?
Also my stance on whether *that* one transcript is real or not, it does seem too 'convenient' in line with many people's perspectives on the series' change in direction after gen 5, confirmation bias and all that. At the same time though, sometimes these sorta overly convenient things do turn out true. (See for instance the hubbub recently surrounding the Dragon Quest interview which was scrubbed from the internet by Square due to a 'mistranslation' that ultimately doesn't change much about it)

So far we've really only seen game assets from Gen 3 and later. If there are assets from Gen 1, we likely would have seen them by now.
This is a server leak so unless their server is storing this kind of stuff on the server, I think it's less likely.
That being said, there are Gen 2 assets in the files. and Crystal folders.
One of the fun things about the pokemon games is that they're so popular, and fanart specifically is so popular, that you can easily pop onto Tumblr/Bluesky/this very forum and commission someone to draw your fakemon concept. I've done that a couple times with leaks and new generations to make what I would do as an evolution for X mon, and I highly recommend it.

XY, for all its faults, feels pretty complete
The Powerplant is the only thing that feels off to me, and ofc the fact that yeah Zygarde never got its game
The scope doesn't seem that large until you realize they had to 3D model every single Pokemon for this game to ship lol
