Gardevoir (RainCheck)

It seems you're so keen on Signal Beam, yet Psychic hits for 135 BP on Ludicolo, while Signal Beam hits for 150, and that's 90% of the damage...

I'm well aware of this... it does other things too. :P

By the sounds of this, I've got too many slashes in the actual set, and half of them should be in additional comments, which is fair enough. I'll edit the article tomorrow when I've got time.

Should I redo this, focusing on the aspects of Life Orb Attacker Gardevoir first, and then going on about how it's very useful against weather teams?

I think so (wait for a QC answer to actually edit something). You should probably mention, among other things, how WoW nails many of its counters, how it works with other Psychic or Ghost-types as Gardevior can weaken some checks these 2 have in common (Registeel, Spiritomb and such); thus focusing more on the set itself than on its Weather Countering capacities.

Yeah, I basically agree with Jabba: mention its ability to check rain in set comments, but this set should be acting as a Life Orb sweeper first and foremost. Preferred set should be:

-Psychic
-Will-O-Wisp
-Focus Blast
-Thunderbolt / Shadow Ball

Should this set be approved to A&A, it should be obvious to why this set should be used over the dominant Psychics like Espeon and Alakazam. Simply put, this should be classified as a Life Orb Psychic set that "not outclassed" by the other hard hitters. Say: Will-O-Wisp and Higher Special Defense and the ability to combat weather more easily than Espeon and Alakazam could achieve.

Cool, thanks for the replies guys. If this gets approved for A&A, I'll write the article focusing on how Gardevoir contrasts with Espeon and Alakazam, and can still run an effective Life Orb Set.
