"You've been a great help. FOOLS!!"
Pokémon: Dark Lord
Franchise/Origin: Miitopia
Type:

Ability: Bad Dreams
Notable moves: Hypnosis, Body Slam, Rock Slide, Force Palm, Instruct, Shadow Sneak, Teleport, Sucker Punch, Shadow Ball
Signature move: Steal Faces (
| Status | 100% Accuracy | Lowers attack or special attack depending on their greater stat and gives a boost to the user depending on what happens)
Stats: 100/125/75/85/100/115 (BST: 600)

Reasoning: The Dark Lord is a major antagonist that appears in Miitopia. As a custom character, the Dark Lord does not have a predetermined facial appearance. Like other pre-established characters, however, he has his own appearance and personality. He has a lot of attacks that point to Pokemon moves, so why not submit this.

List of moves (and the ability) to point to Dark Lord's animations:
Bad Dreams, Hypnosis: Miitopia heroes can get hurt when they are affected by the Nightmare attack. I thought this was suitable for him.
Body Slam: This points to the death animation.
Rock Slide: The Dark Lord has a Rockslide attack in his actions list.
Force Palm: Points to the regular attack of the Dark Lord.
Instruct: This attack is supposed to be "One More Time!"
Teleport: We see the Dark Lord teleporting a few times during the plot of Miitopia.
Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch: These were added because I though that the Dark Lord needed at least some STAB.
Shadow Ball: If you look on the Miitopia wiki, you can see an image about the Dark Lord attacking the protagonist with a orb of dark magic.

Pokémon: Baba
Franchise/Origin: Baba is You
Type:

Ability: Speed Boost | Normalize
Notable moves: BABA IS (and every move featured in BABA IS)
Signature move: BABA IS (Status |
| Doesn't Check Accuracy | Changes Baba's typing randomly and gives Baba a moveset according to the type. Once this move is used, locks ability into Speed Boost.)
|
| Fire Blast, Will-O-Wisp, Flare Blitz, Knock Off
|
| Psychic, Calm Mind, Psyshock, Aura Sphere
|
| Earthquake, Block, Shore Up, Bulldoze
|
| Shadow Sneak, Poltergeist, Taunt, Shadow Ball
|
| Brave Bird, Defog, U-Turn, Roost
|
| Volt Tackle, Parabolic Charge, Bolt Beak, Recover
(Can't really think of any more)
Stats: 90/95/90/95/90/90 (BST: 550)

Reasoning: BABA is a creature of an unidentified species that can change its properties with Properties, so it would make sense if it had a move to do that. Normal typing due to it being something like a cat (and having the size of an adult pig,) Speed Boost because you can run in the game, Normalize if no properties, and its signature, BABA IS, due to having Properties in the game.
HOT destroys MELT objects, so it gets the Fire type. TELE teleports you, so it gets the Psychic Type. STOP makes something not be able to run through it, so it gets the Ground Type. DEFEAT... well it kills you when you touch it, so it gets the Ghost type (Yes I know there is the Phantom property so don't budge.) FLOAT doesn't interact with objects that are not FLOAT, so it gets the Flying type. POWER makes an object POWERED (go to the wiki page for a bolt example,) so it gets the Electric Type.

Pokémon: Glydon
Franchise/Origin: Super Mario Odyssey
Type:

Ability: Sand Veil / Drought
Notable moves: Fly, Brave Bird, Haze, Defog, Dual Wingbeat, Hurricane, Flame Charge (Might add more moves later)
Signature move: Takeoff (
| Physical | 90 BP | 80% Accuracy | If Sun is up, this has +10 Base Power.)
Stats: 100 / 95 / 65 / 65 / 75 / 125 (BST: 525)

Pokémon: Fume-Shroom
Franchise: Plants vs Zombies
Type: Poison/Dark
Stats
: 70/50/80/120/110/60
Abilities: Effect Spore/Infiltrator/Corrosion (H)
Relevant Moves: Poisonous Cloud*, Sludge Bomb, Night Daze, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Earth Power, Haze, Nasty Plot, Toxic, Toxic Spikes, Taunt, Foul Play, Moonlight, Energy Ball, Giga Drain

*Poisonous Cloud: Poison Types, BP 80, PP 10 (max 16), Special. The User produces a Poison Cloud and launches it at the Opponent. Hits Neutral on Steel Types. 30% chance of Poisoning

Z-move: --
Gmax Move: --
Mega Evolution: Mega Fume-Shroom (aka Gloom Shroom)

Mega Stone: Fumeshroomite
Type: Poison/Dark
Stats:
70/60(+10)/100(+20)/150(+30)/130(+20)/80(+20)
Ability: Merciless
Reasoning: I decided to go with Fume-Shroom since it's one of my favorite character from PvZ. The typing is due to it's being a Fungus (poison) that can only battle at night (dark). Effect Spore is because it's a mushroom, and mushrooms expells spores, Infiltrator is because the attacks from Fume-Shroom bypass the Door from that Door Zombie, and Corrosion is because the gas that it launches "kind of" corrodes the Steel door from Door Zombie.
Most of its movepool consists of common moves that a Dark/Poison would have, like Sludge Bomb and Dark Pulse, and others are more "flavor-ish", like Earth Power, since it is planted on the Ground, Moonlight since it can only be planted at its full potencial at night, Night Daze since it expells a weird Attacking Cloud (Same goes to Poisonous Cloud and Haze), Energy Ball and Giga Drain because it is kind of a plant (it's a plant in my Heart).

Mega Fume-Shroom is based on the upgrade Gloom Shroom, and Megas are, somehow, upgrades to common pokemons. I choosed Merciless as the Ability since it can be used really well with it's signature move (Poisonous Cloud) and Corrosion, something that can help Fume-Shroom with things like Stall and Setup-Walls.

Pokémon: Moorpheus
Franchise
: Cow Evolution
Type: Psychic
Stats: 100/120/90/60/85/45
Abilities: Reckless/Analytic (H)
Relevant Moves: Gravitational Slam*, Zen Headbutt, Play Rough, Body Slam, Heavy Slam, Heat Crash, Superpower, Body Press, Earthquake, Megahorn, Head Smash, High Horsepower, Iron Head, Outrage, Rock Slide, Stomping Tantrum, Stone Edge, Bulk Up, Recover

*Gravitational Slam: Psychic Type, Physical, 120 BP, PP 15 (max 24). The User creates a gravitational area around the opponent and slams it, grounding it until it switches out. Boosted by Reckless

Z move: Planet-Breaking Crash
Gmax move: --
Mega Evolution: --

Planet-Breaking Crash: Item: Moorpheum-Z. Psychic Type, Psychic, 190 BP. If Moorpheus uses Gravitational Slam with Moorpheum-Z, it becomes Planet-Breaking Crash. When the move succesfully hits, it ativates Gravity on the battlefield.

Reasoning: I've played Cow Evolution a lot, and i really liked the wacky designs the cows had, but probably Moorpheus is one of my favorites. Since it's a hell of a giant cow, i decided to give it good bulk and Attack, with a slow speed. I gave it analytic since it has a lot of eyes and being an alien it will be always analyzing it's surroundings, and it's a good ability with a slow Pokemon. Reckless since it's a bovine, and bovines tends to get RECKLESS with ease. Most of it's movepool is related to it's size and being a cow, for example it's signature move is because it's so huge it can create it's own gravitational pull.

Item_532.png

Item: Star Cloak
Franchise/Origin: Terraria
Fling BP: 10
Effects: Whenever the user is hit with any damaging move, the Star Cloak deals damage as if it were a 30 BP typeless special move to the target that hit the user with the item, with behavior similar to that of confusion damage (no critical hits, unaffected by Life Orb, Technician, Wonder Guard, etc.). Light Screen/Aurora Veil still reduces the damage of Star Cloak's attack by half/a third.

Item: Urban Camo Cape
Franchise/Origin: Girls' Frontline
Fling BP: 30
Effects: Increases critical hit chance by 2 stages (to 1/2) but halves the Speed of the user.

Trinket_Samson%27s_Lock_icon.png

Item: Samson's Lock
Franchise/Origin: Binding of Issac
Fling BP: 10
Effects: User’s moves boost in power by 20% every time the user directly causes another Pokémon to faint (like the Moxie ability), up to a maximum increase of 100%. The power bonus resets to 0% if the user is withdrawn.

(Resub)

"Just like the two sides of a coin, no matter how splendid the face is, the backside is always stained with dirt."
Pokémon: Scavenger
Franchise/Origin: Arknights
Type:
/

Abilities: Lone Warrior (HA: Pickpocket)
Signature ability - Lone Warrior – This Pokémon has their moves increased in base power by 20% if in a Single Battle or when it is the only Pokémon currently on the user's side in other battle types (i.e.: must have no partner adjacent to it in a Double Battle). Base power of moves is reduced by 20% otherwise.
Other Moves:
: Slash, Cut, Rage, Take Down, Double-Edge, Stomping Tantrum, Night Slash, Shadow Sneak, Quick Attack, Sucker Punch, Thief, Feint Attack, Pursuit, U-Turn, Revenge, Assurance, Beat Up, Thrash, Outrage, Psycho Cut, Payback, Lash Out, Chip Away, Knock Off, Aerial Ace, Throat Chop, Foul Play, Superpower, Close Combat, Frustration
: Snarl, Shadow Ball, Dark Pulse, Venoshock, Focus Blast, Sonic Boom, Razor Wind
: Leer, Embargo, Taunt, Torment, Parting Shot, Block, Swords Dance, Obstruct, Swagger, Sandstorm, Rain Dance, Snatch, Me First, Work Up, Quick Guard, Quash, Metal Sound, Scary Face
Stats: 86/98/79/68/40/105 (BST: 476)

Reasoning: Normal type due to being a Zalak, a rodent-based race where most notable Normal-types in Pokémon games are rodents (especially the Rattata line). Dark type to fit her pragmatic and criminal nature, coming as her secondary type due to such a hostile personality not originally within her due to its like with her Originium infection. Her signature ability is Lone Warrior, behaving similarly to the Lone Wolf talent in her source game. Pickpocket became her Hidden Ability to reinforce the criminal aspect of her lifestyle, as thieving is often thought of as a criminal and amoral/immoral act. The unusually high number of slashing moves for a Normal type compared to more recent generations of Normal types is attributed to the blade she carries around. As such, her Physical movepool has a high amount of coverage options, including options that also relate to her ruthless strategy: assumed to be attacking every enemy that she sees, an attempt to explain why she gets access to very risky Fighting moves with high power, to try to sweep the opposing team. Her Special movepool, other than some outliers, only comes with STAB moves due to her lack of Originium Arts performance during battles despite carrying the infection.

"Some of the [combatants] here. Don't you think they're a little too tall? ...No, I don't care. Not actually. How tall you are and how strong you are don't relate. I just need to bring every last one of them down."
Pokémon: Flint
Franchise/Origin: Arknights
Type:
/

Abilities: Iron Fist (HA: Featherweight)
Signature ability - Featherweight - +1 priority to punching moves (the same ones boosted by Iron Fist) as long as user has not been attacked by direct damage (anything that Magic Guard does not block). This effect will reactivate if she switches out. This will make Mach Punch and Bullet Punch have the same priority as Extreme Speed.
Other Moves:
: Counter, Mach Punch, Reversal, Rock Smash, Arm Thrust, Brick Break, Focus Punch, Revenge, Sky Uppercut, Close Combat, Drain Punch, Power-Up Punch, Sky Attack, Brave Bird, Acrobatics, U-Turn, Lunge, Feint Attack, Pursuit, Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, Shadow Punch, Comet Punch, Mega Punch, Strength, Quick Attack, Endeavor, Feint, Chip Away, Retaliate, Poison Jab, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Stone Edge, Bullet Punch, Aqua Jet
: Focus Blast, Final Gambit, Gust, Hurricane, Heat Wave, Sonic Boom
: Detect, Bulk Up, Quick Guard, Roost, Tailwind, Taunt, Torment, Quash, Sunny Day, Sand Attack, Leer, Swords Dance, Foresight, Work Up, Laser Focus, Agility, Rain Dance
Stats: 94/102/82/71/40/141 (BST: 530)

Reasoning: Fighting-type due to the use of boxing gloves and teaching herself marital arts that include swift and precise punches. Due to her punching skills, she gained Iron Fist as her primary ability which used to be Hitmonchan's signature ability in Generation IV. Featherweight has the same name as her Trait in Arknights but behaves more like Gale Wings due to her being a Liberi and thus the Flying-type as her secondary type. She still keeps her Flying-type unlike Sirfetch'd due to still being nimble enough to keep her blinding speed in combat due to not using such heavy armaments like the realmon evolution of Galarian Farfetch'd does. Fighting types often carry high amounts of coverage and such represents her massive movepool which also complements her abilities very well. She carries two of the elemental punches and Bullet Punch for a weapon to use against Fairy-types. She obviously lacks most Special moves, but still has a respectable amount of Status moves that help her and her teammates get an edge in battle, with Tailwind and Quick Guard to reference her supporting nature that is wont in a tower defense game like Arknights. Her stats, calculated straight from Arknights in her Elite 2 promotion, gives her a very high Speed stat of 141, which came from her ASPD of 0.78, one of the fastest ASPD stats in Arknights by far. Funny how her BST is basically the same as Blaziken's, another bird who is not afraid to punch their way to victory.

"Allow me to demonstrate!"
Pokémon: Byleth
Franchise/Origin: Fire Emblem
Type:
/

Abilities: Pressure/Steadfast (HA: Crest of Flames)
Signature ability - Crest of Flames - User's moves turn into HP-draining moves when landing critical hits that heal the user for 50% of the damage dealt.
Other Moves:
: Quick Attack, Slash, Strength, False Swipe, Feint, Retaliate, Counter, Rock Smash, Brick Break, Revenge, Drain Punch, Sacred Sword, U-Turn, First Impression, Lunge, Pursuit, Assurance, Night Slash, Payback, Dual Chop, Fire Lash, Aerial Ace, Acrobatics, Power Whip, Psycho Cut, Stone Edge, Smack Down
: Tri Attack, Wring Out, Terrain Pulse, Focus Blast, Final Gambit, Secret Sword, Dark Pulse, Snarl, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Shock Wave, Dazzling Gleam, Fire Blast, Ember, Flamethrower, Flame Burst, Inferno, Mystical Fire, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Earth Power, Extrasensory, Psyshock, Stored Power
: Disable, Focus Energy, Swords Dance, Foresight, Follow Me, Helping Hand, After You, Work Up, Laser Focus, Detect, Torment, Quash, Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain, Sunny Day, Spite, Agility, Calm Mind, Imprison, Ally Switch, Heal Pulse, Instruct, Rain Dance
Signature move:
Divine Rupture –
– 80 BP – 20 PP – 90% – Will always land critical hits on Dragon, Dark, and Ghost types. Bypasses Ghost's immunity to Normal type moves.
Stats (♂): 85/155/85/100/50/95 (BST: 570)
Stats (♀): 85/130/60/100/75/120 (BST: 570)

Reasoning: Primary Normal-type due to being a Teacher (or Professor), a trainer class that is found in GSC and HGSS that often uses Normal-type realmons in battle, and also fits his/her adherence and inheritance to the Crest of Flames, the crest foretold to be tied to the Creator Goddess of Fódlan herself, serving as a mirror to Arceus's default typing of Normal. Secondary Fighting-type due to a noticeable amount of Fire Emblem protagonist (aka the Lords like Lucina) sharing the typing due to their honor in the battlefield and their renowned tactical utility in the art of war. This also gives Sacred Sword the chance to hit for STAB. His/her non-hidden abilities are chosen from the perspective of the story in which Pressure shows the emotionless and stern side of Byleth, while Steadfast shows the emotion he/she eventually gathers from their time with the Golden Deer/Blue Lions paths. His/her hidden and signature ability is his/her Crest of Flames, with its HP-draining effect taken into play via turning moves into HP-draining ones like Giga Drain and Drain Punch due to having a similar effect in game when its gameplay effects triggers. Divine Rupture is a mix of his/her signature Combat Art within FE3H and his/her usage of the Sword of the Creator, its whip-like form allowing such a signature Physical move the benefit of being contactless, preventing Rocky Helmet, Rough Skin, and Iron Barbs from hurting him/her as much as other mons. The whip form of the Sword of the Creator allows Byleth to possess Power Whip as a coverage move. Drain Punch as a utility attacking move to help his/her longevity without Recover and similar moves came from his/her proficiency in the Brawl type of weapons that debut in his/her home game. Secret Sword, which came from Keldeo, was chosen due to his/her importance as Three Houses's protagonist, the ever-present "protagonist bias" a justification for a use of a move that used to be found on only one Mythical Pokémon. The other Special moves and some of his/her Status moves (Thunder Wave, Electric Terrain, Heal Pulse) come from his/her ability to learn two of the three Anima magic types in Fire and Thunder magic, and Light magic via his proficiency in the Faith class of magic. (Nosferatu is a special mention due to being both Light and Dark magic at certain instance of the Fire Emblem franchise) Byleth's stats come from a mix of stats extracted from stats found in both their appearance within their main game and within Fire Emblem: Heroes. To differentiate between Male and Female Byleth, the variations between their Fire Emblem Heroes stats have been taken to account. The basis on their different stat changes includes Male Byleth being more hard-hitting with higher Attack, and Female Byleth being a lithe and potential sweeper with higher Speed.

Item: Spring Mushroom
Franchise: Super Mario
Effect: If the holder hits another Pokémon with a contact move and manages to keep the item, then the holder switches out. This item disappears the instant the holder takes damage, uses a Water-type move, makes contact with a Water-type, is affected by Soak, or is exposed to rain.
Fling: 30 BP | Comes back to the user if it hits a non-Water-type target.
Reasoning: Spring Mario/Luigi bounces off floors, ceilings, and enemies alike, just by making contact. However, taking damage or touching water makes the power-up(?) wear off.

Pokémon: Peewee Piranha (left)
Type: Grass/Normal
Ability: Weak Armor / Shell Armor / Wimp Out
Moves: Leaf Blade, Petal Blizzard, Leafage, Leaf Storm, Petal Dance, Leaf Tornado, Return, Frustration, Thrash, Body Slam, Hyper Fang, Stomp, Tackle, Rage, Hyper Voice, Crunch, Bite, Stomping Tantrum, Lick, Work Up, Agility, Roar, Synthesis, Rest
Stats: 80/80/40/60/40/60 | 360 BST

Evolution: Dino Piranha (center)
Method: Level up Peewee Piranha with high friendship
Ability: Leaf Guard / Adaptability
Added Moves: Power Whip, Tail Slap, Slam, Breaking Swipe, Dragon Tail
Stats: 99/99/50/81/50/81 | 460 BST

Evolution: Fiery Dino Piranha (right)
Method: Use a Fire Stone on Dino Piranha
Type: Grass/Fire
Ability: Flame Body / Flame Touch (burn counterpart of Poison Touch) / Conflagrate (Fire-type -ate from various prior submissions)
Added Moves: Flare Blitz, Fire Lash, Fire Fang, Overheat, Heat Wave, Fireball, Fire Spin, Will-O-Wisp
Stats: 100/120/70/100/70/100 | 560 BST

Reasoning: Peewee Piranha may have originated an installment later than the other two, but it's safe to assume that the former is a less mature form. Grass typing is obvious, whereas Normal gives it STAB on a lot of flavorful moves and correlates to Fiery Dino Piranha having Conflagrate. (More on that later.) Its body is covered with an eggshell, which technically qualifies as Shell Armor but is better described as Weak Armor, considering that it becomes vulnerable and performs evasive maneuvers when the eggshell is broken. Speaking of which, Wimp Out represents a different take on the same concept. Peewee's movepool is drawn from its behavior as a boss and its features in common with Petey (namely its head and arms).
Dino Piranha, unlike the Peewee variety, has a tail and does not use its eggshell when it gets cracked at the beginning of the battle. This gives it tail-based moves and an easier time putting its floral features and giant-class body to use, hence Leaf Guard and Adaptability.
Fiery Dino Piranha, the strongest of its kind, is a variant of Dino Piranha that radiates heat and can ignite the tip of its tail, leaving trails of fire wherever it goes. In a pinch, it even spews out fireballs! Flame Body, Flame Touch, and Conflagrate all symbolize its fire affinity, the last tying in with the logical replacement of its Normal typing, as do all the new additions to its movepool.

Pokémon: Major Burrows
Type: Normal/Ground
Ability: Tough Claws / Fluffy / Thick Fat
Moves: Return, Frustration, Thrash, Hyper Fang, Crush Claw, Slash, Stomp, Rapid Spin, Scratch, Rage, Drill Run, Dig, Sand Tomb, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Smack Down, Iron Head, Darkest Lariat, Crunch, Bite, X-Scissor, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Spiky Shield, Work Up, Agility, Hone Claws, Odor Sleuth, Rototiller
Stats: 100/105/95/80/85/90 | 555 BST
Reasoning: This is a mole thing reminiscent of Excadrill and Diggersby. It’s not armored enough to be Steel-type, so Normal/Ground makes the most sense. Its Abilities relate to its anatomy, and its base stats are balanced out so that it’s no stronger than Barbaracle with Tough Claws. Its movepool consists of things that it does as a boss, as well as things that it could do if it were a real creature.

Pokémon: Risukuma
Type: Water/Normal
Ability: Fluffy / Chemist* / Analytic
*Poison-type Steelworker (added to Rio Futaba in Expanded revisions)
Moves: Puyo Pop (from Ringo Ando), Return, Frustration, Thrash, Hyper Voice, Potion Throw (from Plague Knight), Sludge Wave, Sludge Bomb, Clear Smog, Venoshock, Mystical Fire, Overheat, Scald, Psychic, Fling, Haze, Roar, Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Gastro Acid, Work Up, Trick Room, Magic Room, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Stuff Cheeks, Assist, Purify
Z-Move: Ai Shiteru - Poison, Special, 185 BP | Super-effective against Rock. | Requires Potion Throw and Risukumanium Z
Stats: 84/104/84/104/124/64 | 564 BST
Reasoning: Risukuma is a humanoid squirrel-bear (hence his name) and an upperclassman to Ringo Ando. His feral taxonomy gives him Normal typing, Fluffy, Hyper Voice, Roar, Stuff Cheeks, and Assist (JP: Cat's Paw). His closeness to Ringo is reflected in his base stats, Water typing, Analytic, and certain movepool additions (including Ai Shiteru, which is to him as Permutation is to her). He regularly carries around flasks of mysterious liquids and tends to make them explode, so another portion of the movepool is inspired by Rio Futaba (as is Chemist), with Overheat and Toxic added to the mix. (No pun intended.) Return and Frustration come from the love connoisseur aspect of his character, Thrash and Work Up symbolize his habit of getting...well, worked up over his science experiments, and Purify relates to the moment in Puyo Puyo Tetris when his paws dispense juice for Ess.

Pokémon: Neptune
Type: Electric/Fairy
Ability: Own Tempo / Oblivious / Truant
Signature Moves:
  • Cross Combo - Fairy, Physical, 25 BP, 100% Acc, 20 PP | Hits 2-5 times.
  • Victory Slash - Fairy, Physical, 50 BP, 90% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 2 times.
  • Stat Multiplier - Fairy, Other, 15 PP | Raises the Defense, Special Defense, and Speed of the user or an adjacent ally.
Other Moves: Zing Zap, Spark, Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Slash, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Incinerate, Swords Dance, Teleport
Z-Move: EXE Drive: Neptune Break - Fairy, Physical, 180 BP | Requires Cross Combo and Neptunium Z
Stats: 80/120/75/65/80/100 | 520 BST

Form: Neptune-Purple-Heart (Ultra Burst form with Purple CPU Memory)
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: HDD Neptune - Fairy, Physical, 210 BP | Has combined efficacy with Electric, except against Ground-types. | Requires Victory Slash
Stats: 80/135/105/80/100/120 (+15 Atk, +30 Def, +15 SpA, +20 SpD, +20 Spe) | 620 BST

Reasoning: Tiny, toony, and more than a little loony, Neptune is the most prominent CPU (Console Patron Unit) of Planeptune, as well as the titular character and series protagonist. She specializes in lightning attacks and is a mischievous pudding fanatic, hence Electric/Fairy. She gets Own Tempo (JP: My Pace) from her tendency to boast about her protagonist status, Oblivious as an airhead, and Truant as a slacker by nature.
In-game, she is a physical DPS character with a unique supporting skill, although unfortunately most of her elemental coverage is on the special side.

Pokémon: An Ice Machine
Type: Steel/Ice
Ability: Heatproof / Aftermath / Heavy Metal
Moves: Heavy Slam (450 kg), Iron Head, Flash Cannon, Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Freeze-Dry, Frost Breath, Earthquake, Body Slam, Self-Destruct, Hydro Pump, Hurricane, Weather Ball, Shift Gear, Hail, Rain Dance
Stats: 140/91/105/126/70/42 | 574 BST
Reasoning: This is the seventh boss of the game and takes seven hits to destroy, so its base stats are all multiples of seven. Steel/Ice goes without saying. It gets Heatproof as any self-respecting ice machine would, Aftermath (and Self-Destruct) due to the explosion after its defeat, and Heavy Metal because it has the weight to stay planted on the ground for the whole battle.
Speaking of battle, it enters the scene in a ground-shaking manner and attacks with ice cubes, water jets, and icicles. It gets Shift Gear because the chain on its side indicates some kind of gear mechanism.

Pokémon: Etalus
Franchise/Origin: Rivals of Aether
Type: Ice / Fighting
Ability: Battle Armor / Big Pecks / Slush Rush
Notable moves: Ice Punch, Ice Fang, Focus Punch, Ice Beam, Power-Up Punch, Icicle Crash, Night Slash, Crunch, Surf, Waterfall, etc.
Signature move: Ice Breaker:
/ Physical / 120 BP / 100% Acc. / 15 PP / Has 33% recoil.
Stats: 80 / 120 / 75 / 65 / 70 / 50 = 460 BST

Reasoning: Etalus is a polar bear fighter (hence his typing) in Rivals of Aether. He has a strong connection to ice, using it in most of his special attacks. For his neutral special, he wields a hammer. The slow start of the attack and the power makes me think of a clone of Wood Hammer. He is one of the game's few "heavyweights," so I made him slower. However, Etalus's dash attack moves very fast if there is ice on the battlefield, so I gave him Slush Rush as an ability.

Ability: Fire Breather (Basically Steelworker but for Fire)
Notable moves: Draco Meteor, Dragon Dance, Dragon Pulse, Giga Drain, Energy Ball, Sunny Day, Air Slash, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Fire Fang, Heat Crash, Heat Wave, Overheat, etc.
Stats: 70/80/70/110/80/90 = 500 BST

Reasoning: I struggled with the typing, but I deduced that he is primarily a plant and a dragon, with the ability to breathe fire. Also, this ties into his ability, which will give him the STAB boost for Fire.

/ Status / 32 PP / Lays pools of lava on the opponent's side of the field, dealing Fire-type damage on switch in.
Stats: 97 / 63 / 109 / 109 / 83 / 50 = 511 BST

Reasoning: Eruptor is a Skylander of the Fire element, a being who used to live in a volcano, until that volcano erupted and spewed him out. Now a cranky boi, he fights on the side of the Skylanders. Fire typing is fairly self explanatory. He's got Flame Body because he is literally made of lava, and Anger Point because he is a cranky boi. Firey Remains is an upgrade that Eruptor can get for his primary attack, Lava Lob, and it leaves lava pools on the ground that damage enemies. Sounds a lot like an entry hazard to me.

Pokémon: Four Kings
Franchise: Dark Souls
Type: Normal/Dark
Ability: Dark Aura
Notable moves: Slash, Giga Impact, Leaf Blade, Smart Strike, Leech Life, Shadow Claw, Sacred Sword, Night Slash, Throat Chop, Beat Up, Brutal Swing, Lash Out, Swords Dance, Nasty Plot, Mean Look, Tri Attack, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Giga Drain, Draining Kiss
Stats: 90/120/90/120/90/90 (600 BST)

Reasoning: The Four Kings of New Londo were human kings recognized by Gwyn and granted a fragment of his Lord Soul, however they fell to the Dark, becoming warped, along with their knights, who became the Darkwraiths. They represented a threat so big that New Londo was flooded to seal them, along with the Abyss. In their boss battle, only one king is present at first, but more will appear with time regardless if the previous one(s) have been slain, requiring fast action from the player if they don't want to be overwhelmed. Their typing comes from them being regular people who became corrupted by evil and the Dark. The moves come from their attacks: slashing their swords, a few magic attacks, ganging up on the player and their grab attack, which is referred to as Lifedrain.

Pokémon: Ivan the Terrible
Franchise/Origin: Fate/Grand Order
Type: Electric/Ice
Ability: Contrary/Refrigerate/Pressure
Notable moves: Thunderbolt, Thunder, Charge Beam, Wild Charge, Electro Ball, Crush Claw, Ice Fang, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Ancient Power, Ice Shard, Ice Punch, Avalanche, Super Fang, Stomp, Hyper Voice, Hyper Fang, Hyper Beam, Take Down, Thrash, Double Hit, Teleport, Stone Edge, Earthquake, Superpower, Hammer Arm, High Horsepower, Sleep Talk, Earth Power, Leech Life, Dream Eater, Amnesia, Mist, Haze, Endure, Bide, Scary Face, Nasty Plot, Core Enforcer
Signature Move: Chyornyj Oprichniki (25 BP | Dark | 10 PP | Physical | 100% Accuracy | Can only be used if the user is sleeping; it will fail in any other case. Hits 6 times.)
G-Max Move: G-Max Zveri Krestnyy Khod (Variable BP | Electric | +1 to user's higher attacking stat on self and active teammates.)
Stats: 130/110/130/90/40/40 (550)

Reasoning: This is the Lostbelt (which basically means "pruned alternate universe") version of Ivan the Terrible in Fate. When an asteroid struck the planet and caused an ice age, Ivan invited a group of magi to turn the Russian population into magic beasts for their survival. Ivan himself fused with a mythological mammoth and gained enormous power.
Contrary comes from Ivan's Contradictive Mind Skill. Refrigerate comes from his bodily transformation into an ice beast. Pressure comes from his Almighty Supreme Authority Skill.
His custom moves come from his two Noble Phantasms (his 2 special attacks). The Gigantamax form and G-Max move is based on his "The Beast that Accompanied me On My Journeys" Noble Phantasm, he turns into a full-on gigantic mammoth, shooting giant electric blasts and moving forward to do damage. The signature move is "The Black Dogs Seeping Out of My Dreams" Noble Phantasm, which spawns an infinite number of soldiers, who do not rest until the enemy is killed, but only when Ivan has fallen asleep.
Core Enforcer comes from the fact that Ivan has a core in his chest (duh) and enforces the law as the guardian of Russia (and all of the planet really, since the rest of it is dead). The only weird part about giving this move to Ivan is the "Z" animation, but Z can just stand for Zveri (Beast in Russian) or something.

Pokémon: Letty Whiterock
Franchise/Origin: Touhou Project
Type: Ice
Ability: Winter Chill/Wimp Out
Winter Chill - In Hail or Frozen Terrain, Letty Whiterock's stats are multiplied by 2.
Notable moves: Weather Ball, Blizzard, Aurora Veil, Secret Power, Natural Gift, Nature's Power, Topsy Turvy
Signature move: Lingering Cold - Summons Frozen Terrain for 5 turns. Fails unless the weather is Hail. (x0.667 Speed unless Pokemon is an Ice-Type, has Thick Fat, Slush Rush, Ice Body, Snow Cloak or is holding an Assault Vest. x1.3 power to Ice-type moves. x0.5 power to Fire-type moves. Nature Power becomes Ice Beam).
Stats: 60/60/60/60/60/60 (360)
Reasoning: Letty Whiterock is a seasonal youkai only seen during winter. She is normally extremely weak, but this changes during winter. According to ZUN, she becomes strong enough to cause an incident in Gensokyo. She doesn't possess any abilities to create ice or snow out of nowhere (notice how she doesn't even get Hail). Instead, her ability is to strengthen the "winter" that is already there. This was translated to having moves and an ability that only work in Hail, moves strengthened in Hail, or moves that change to Ice-type based on things like nature and the overworld. When spring comes, she disappears to somewhere safe, thus Wimp Out. Lastly, she gets Topsy-Turvy because of her spellcard Mystic Sign "Table-Turning" which doesn't seem to have any relation with the winter stuff.
Pokémon: Tamazoa
Franchise/Origin: Spectrobes
Typing: Rock/Ice
Ability: Levitate
Moves: Odor Sleuth, Detect, Lock-On, Dig, Ancient Power, Rock Polish, Work Up, Revelation Dance
Stats: 55/75/65/50/55/60 (360)
Reasoning: "A recently awakened Spectrobe is only in child form. It's like a newborn baby. They can't fight, but they're very useful. They can help you locate buried fossils and minerals!" - Spectrobe: Origins
Rock because it is a fossil. Ice because it is Flash-type in one game (equivalent of Water and Ice), and Water-type in the other, though there's no distiction between Water and Ice in Spectrobes, and its evolutions attack with both types.
Revelation Dance because Spectrobes fossils are awakened through a dance/song, and this one specifically evolves into a dancer.

Pokémon: Tiazoa
Franchise/Origin: Spectrobes
Typing: Rock/Ice
Ability: Levitate / Hit Absorb / Long Reach
Hit Absorb: Every damaging move used by this Pokemon have an added effect of healing by 30% of the damage dealt.
Moves: Prevo's moves + Ice Beam, Icicle Crash, Icy Wind, Ice Ball, Meteor Beam, Accelerock, Ice Shard, Hydro Pump, Waterfall, Liquidation, Dual Chop, Cross Poison, Fury Cutter, Slash, Iron Tail, Aqua Tail, Aqua Ring, Razor Shell, Water Pulse, Lash Out, Swords Dance, Cosmic Power
Stats: 80/85/65/75/65/70 (440)
Reasoning: Tiazoa attacks with its blades and tail. As a Flash-type Spectrobe, it also attacks with water and ice. It does a signature cross-shaped attack that extends and becomes long range. Spectrobes: Origins calls it a "balanced, long distance fighter."
In Spectrobes: Origins, Hit Absorb is its Bonus Ability. Technically, Hit Absorb heals by only 10% (when evolved, 15%). However, it affects both the Spectrobe and the player. Since the player doesn't have HP in Pokemon, I just doubled the effect for the Spectrobe.

Pokémon: Gokazoa
Franchise/Origin: Spectrobes
Typing: Rock/Ice
Ability: Levitate / Hit Absorb / Mega Launcher
Moves: Prevo's moves + Water Spout, Water Shuriken, Earth Power, Teeter Dance, Core Blast
Signature Move: Core Blast - Special, Ice-type Dragon Tail, except it is also bosted by Mega Launcher and can't miss.
Stats: 90/85/75/95/85/90 (520)
Reasoning: Mega Launcher comes from the Goka Cannon, a special weapon based on Gokazoa that the player can use. Gokazoa itself at gathering and attacking with energy.
Core Blast is one of the most busted moves in Spectrobes. It's a homing attack with high knockback that sends the enemies flying. Combined with its passive healing, this makes Gokazoa one of the best Spectrobes, and I wanted to capture that with the sub.

Fling: 10 BP

Item: Oxidized Copper
Origin: Minecraft
Effect: One-time use. Places Oxidized Copper hazard on user's side of the field. Steel-type Pokemon on the same side as this hazard restore 1/4 of their maximum HP, rounded down, when hit by an Electric-type move (but still take damage). Removable with usual hazard removal methods.
Fling Effect: 100 BP
Reasoning: In Minecraft, Oxidized Copper goes back to "fresh" Copper when hit by lightning.

Pokémon: Kae
Origin: SUGURI
Type: Fire
Ability: I'm On Fire!* / Rattled / Unaware
*I'm On Fire!: Whenever Kae loses a stage of Defense, including self-inflicted drops, she gains a stage of Attack.
Stats: 70/115/60/95/55/115 (510)
Notable Moves: Blazing!*, Overheat, Blaze Kick, Flare Blitz, Close Combat, Extreme Speed, Slash, Psycho Cut, Rapid Spin, Rollout, Double-Edge
*Blazing!: Fire-type, Status. 5/8 PP. The user and all adjacent targets gain +1 Attack and -1 Defense stages.
Reasoning: Kae is the strongest (but also stupidest) of the Shifu Brands, a group of modified humans sent to wipe out everyone on Earth. (She's really a pretty nice girl, she's just... literally unable to go against orders.) Kae can control fire to some extent, and is known for literally bursting into flames (making her stronger) when she heats up enough - in the SUGURI and Acceleration of SUGURI games, letting Heat build up makes you take more damage when you're hit, and 100% Orange Juice also gives her a passive that adds the reverse value of her Defense to her Attack. It's a pretty consistent trait of hers to get stronger when her defenses get weaker, so that's why that's a custom ability.

Her stats are modeled after the ones she has in 100% Orange Juice, but I bumped up her Speed a bit because she's the fastest character in Acceleration of SUGURI 2. I would have skewed her offenses more physically, but with Close Combat her ability is very powerful so I decided not. Speaking of Close Combat, she's really the most dedicated melee fighter of the Shifu Brands... and of every named character in the series. So that's why she gets that.

"Blazing!" is the name of a move she has in both Acceleration of SUGURI 2 and 100% Orange Juice, though it is primarily based on its effects in the latter game (where it applies a +1 Attack, -1 Defense modifier for a few turns to units close to Kae, including Kae herself), though its effects in the former game (sending Kae into her "high heat mode" instantly and for a longer duration than normal) aren't far off either.

She also uses fire with her melee attacks, including kciks, hence Blaze Kick and Flare Blitz. In her boss fight in SUGURI she dashes around at VERY high speeds, and she's described as "approach[ing] at an incredible speed", hence Extreme Speed. Slash and Psycho Cut because of the slash beams (i don't know how to described them right) she releases as her... main ranged attack. Rapid Spin, Rollout, and Double-Edge because she's first introduced to Suguri when she literally destroys a midboss by spinning wildly into it.

Rattled is because she's afraid of the dark, and Unaware because she's dumb (JP name of Unaware translates to "Airhead")

Item: Potion of the Turtle Master
Origin: Minecraft
Effect: Upon entry, boosts Def and SpD by 2 stages, but lowers Speed by two stages. Consumed on use.
Fling Effect: 10 BP
Reasoning: In Minecraft, thhe Potion of the Turtle Master gives Resistance and Slowness to the person who drinks it, which respectively lower the damage they take from all sources and the speed at which they move.

Item: Bloodlust
Origin: 100% Orange Juice
Effect: Damages the user by 25% of their max HP at the start of each turn. All of the user's moves drain 75% of the damage dealt.
Fling Effect: 10 BP
Reasoning: In 100% Orange Juice, this card deals 1 HP at the start of each turn (most things in that game don't have a whole lot of HP, 1 is a noticeable chunk) and heals the user by 100% of the damage dealt, along with other effects that don't translate over to Pokémon. I reduced the amount of healing for balance reasons I guess. Not 100% sure it was the right call, but I went with it anyway.

Pokemon: Pax
Franchise: Mushroom Men
Type
:

Ability: Effect Spore, No Guard, Magic Bounce
Notable Moves: Spore Punisher, Spore, Stun Spore, Rage Powder, Power Whip, Wood Hammer, Leaf Blade, Seed Bomb, Grav Apple, Zen Headbutt, Close Combat, Gunk Shot, Poison Jab, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, Psychic, Psyshock, Meteor Beam, Stone Edge, Smack Down, Poltergeist, Swords Dance, Bulk Up, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, universal moves such as Substitute.
Signature Move: Sticky Hand |
|
| 70 BP | Non-contact | Removes targets item. If target has no item or if item cannot be removed, user switches out.
Signature Z-Move: Spore Punisher |
|
| 180 BP | Requires Power Whip | Doubles damage when target has 50% or less HP. If a weakened (<50% HP) target is KO'd by this move, the Pokemon that switches in after takes 25% damage.

Stats: 85 / 114 / 80 / 80 / 85 / 96 (528 BST)

Reasoning: Pax is the protagonist mushroom from Mushroom Men series. Mushrooms in this series gained sentience and other abilities when a meteorite fell to Earth and various fungi, insects and animals absorbed meteorite dust. The meteorite caused different tribes of mushrooms to go to war against each other, called the Spore Wars. Each variety of mushroom gained different abilities and while some became crazed, evil or inventors, Pax's Bolete gained psychic abilities. Pax is able to use his Sporekinesis abilities to attack enemies with large items or psychic blasts. He uses this ability to throw rocks, garbage, apples, etc. at his opponents and often redirects projectiles back at opponents. He also can craft weapons from small, everyday items such as bottle caps and match sticks. The weapons he creates can be used as axes, swords or spears. Towards the end of the game he is also able to craft a makeshift flamethrower and zapper. These weapons have no accuracy checks and when using certain weapons, Pax cannot block. He also has a range of close combat, stealth and sneak attacks he can use to defeat enemies undetected.

One of Pax's most useful abilities is the sticky hand he finds. He uses this to be able to get to hard to reach places and briefly stun enemies with it. Pax's most powerful ability however is Spore Punisher. Spore Punisher requires a substantial amount of Spore Power and can be used a finisher move against stronger enemies. If this ability is used as a finisher, the enemy explodes and damages all other foes around it.

two croissant resubs
Pokémon: Perdido
Origin: Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Type: Fire/Fighting
Ability: Technician / Conflagrate (From Rimuru from CCEX and Star Breaker)
Notable moves: Sacred Sword, Smart Strike, Fell Stinger, Fury Attack, Drill Run, Slash, X-Scissor, Iron Defense, Protect, Axe Strike (From Camilla), Flamethrower, Earth Power, Overheat, Swords Dance, Fire Spin, Close Combat, Return, Brutal Swing, Night Slash, Solar Blade, Throat Chop, Machine Gun (From Austin Carter)
Stats: 50/140/95/100/50/95 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Fire because this is the blade's element, and since a Blade's element ties into the Driver's attacks (in this guy's case it's Patroka), that's Conflagrate. Fighting and Technician because of carrying not just the one Blade Weapon, but three more on top of that too. Stats show the contrast the with another Blade named Cressidus that shows up in the same fight as Perdido; Put in Nia's words, Perdido's "got weapons galore", and Cressidus "is a master of defense", though Perdido's use of a Shield Hammer (an all defense, no offense weapon) and a Chroma Katana (Another tank weapon, this one favoring agility) lead to Defense and Speed not being that bad either. Small Strike for the same reasons as Togetic, Fell Stinger, Fury Attack, and Drill Run are from the Megalance, Iron Defense and Protect from the Shield Hammer, SpA and Special Coverage because Patroka uses plenty of powerful ether-based arts using this Blade (One even lights an area on fire for plenty of time), which also courses throughout the ground. Return because of Blades being more effective the greater the affinity, SD and Sacred Sword because of the Chroma Katana, Axe Strike self-explanatory, X-Scissor because quad wielding where at least two of the weapons are bladed. Beedrill also inspired some of the moves, and the Dark-type moves make sense because of Perdido's involvement in Torna. Finally, the weapon Patroka uses in the fight (if the link between him and her in battle is any indication) is his fifth weapon: A big gun. That's Machine Gun. Penta wielding's presumably kinda difficult even for Perdido because have you tried tri-wielding, let alone with a gun that size? So he lets Patroka use his weapon.

"Its scale would never neglect the weight of even the smallest sin."
Pokémon: Judgement Bird
Type: Flying
Ability: Justified
Other Moves: Oblivion Wing, Night Shade, Perish Song, Roost, Dual Wingbeat, Punishment, Dazzling Gleam, Torment, Protect, Leer
Stats: 60/60/100/135/100/75 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Flying because it's a bird and would thus get STAB on Oblivion Wing, plus it uses the most seldom-seen damage type in Lobotomy Corporation, that being Pale, taking the form of Death itself that assaults the soul. Pale Damage against Agents scales with their Max HP, the scaling modifier for that aspect returning 1 if the Max HP is 100 on the dot, so that also works for Night Shade. This also explains Perish Song, as its attack when breaching is accompanied with a chime, plus Dazzling Gleam because it was once a completely radiant bird and said chime is accompanied with a shimmer. HP is half that of Big Bird's, just as it is in-game, and Defenses were calculated the same way, plus it being a WAW too and due to their history, it has the same BST of 530. When it breaches, it moves around at a somewhat average speed, but most Agents should be able to catch up to it easily. Punishment and Justified because of its judging nature. Speaking of which, Torment's JP name goes nicely with its unjust scales as well. Protect happens to be universal coverage and in Library of Ruina, it has a super-defensive skill in Stare, and that's Leer.
