Dreamy Bowser/ Bowser Mega-D
Type: Fire/Psychic
120/150/140/120/100/60 (BST 700) Item- Dream Stone
Ability- Dream King; This pokemon’s moves ignore the target’s typing; those attacks are dealt as neutral damage. This pokemon takes 1/4th damage from super effective moves. all fighting moves get the flying press treatment but with the psychic type.

"Yes. Let's crush them now Let's go All OUT!" "Finally! I've been waiting to try this out!"

Bowser amored Bowser/ Bowser Mega-PB
Type: Fire/Grass
120/160/160/110/90/60 (700) Item: Paper Bowserite
Ability: Battle Armor+. Immunity to Critical hits. Takes 3/4th damage from Super Effective hits.

Reasonings;

1. Moves
He gains those moves simply because of his personality in the games, the fact that he gets more flexible to the point of becoming a ball, his attacks have more disipline (or at least being a trained fist instead of a swiping), or simply game mechanics (Rage if he gets too angry or provoked, or failing the move which makes Body Slam, Body Press, Ember, and Smoke Screen. also he has four states of his attacking animation that can result in, Power-up punch(technically the weakest punch if effect is disculded. he is not fast enough for Mach punch), Mega punch, Dynamic punch, and Focus punch (most powerful punch in the game, but effect says no.) same applied to Ember/Smokescreen, Incinerate, and Flamethrower even though bowser could already do those things with the exception of the smoke).

2. Dynamax
The most simple reason, in most of his appearances as a final boss (including Canon), he becomes a giant. and because his flames are also giant, his fire is just as big. would be G-max Fireball, but bowser in Inside Story uses his fire breath like charizard.

3. Mega Evolutions
He gets not one, but TWO mega evolutions due to the next two games (not counting remakes)
Dream Bowser is just Bowser who had absorbed the Dream Stone in Dream team, allowing him to essentially become a God in the realm of dreams, which also explains his ability. bigger body and his flame attacks do more damage thanks to the mental abilities of the dream stone.

Bowser Armored Bowser is just Bowser wearing his paper self (plus other paper minions wrapped for it. paper is still paper.) as an Armor (Grass type because it's the same logic behind Paper Mario, so no Normal or Steel) and due to it, he is essentially far more bulky and physically powerful, his ability is literally just a combination of Battle Armor and Filter due to how bulky he is, it's literally just two bowsers in on mon. If there was a Paper Bowser, it would share a Mega with this, just under a different name for the item.

A horror sealed deep in the depths. The flash crackling thunderclaps within is no duller from its long slumber, granting one the power to strengthen oneself at will and trample all in one's path.
Name: Lord of Thunder
Series: Code Vein
Type: Electric/Flying
Abilities: Electric Surge and Vali*
New Ability; Vali; This pokemon’s electric type attacks do half damage to adjacent opponents.
Stats: 115/90/95/100/95/85 [580]
Moves: Discharge, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Thunderwave, Thunder Fang, Volt-Switch,Wild Charge, charge, Rising voltage, Slash, Crunch, Aerial Ace, Air Cutter, Air Slash, Acrobatics, Tailwind, Dual Wingbeat, Bounce, Sky attack, Extreme Speed, Shock Wave, Lunge, Breaking Swipe, and Brutal Swing

Reasoning: Very fast and bulky AND offensive beast. although it's only weakness is it's shallow movepool. Like it's name suggests, it uses a bunch of electric type attacks, but since it has huge wings, it is obviously going to use them although it can't actually fly. Lunch, Bounce, and swiping with claws are cat things. Lunge is there for a Bug type coverage if there are any pesky Psychic or Dark type Walls. Shock wave is difficult to explain, but it's a normal electric type thing, so it is just there.

"We blew it up because it was too lame."
Name: Thrash Machine/ Thrash
Series: Deltarune
Stats: 100/85/75/75/85/70 [BST: 490]
Type: Steel/Fighting
Ability: Iron Fist
Moves: Charge Beam, Sky Upper-cut, Focus Punch, Bullet punch, Flamethrower, power-up punch, Slack off, Dragon Dance, Surf, Brave Bird, Drain Punch, Metronome, Self-Destruct and Explosion

Reasoning: Thrash is first made by Lancer's Industries (Susie and Lancer) that could only explode/self destruct at the time, but when Chapter 2 roles around, Roulx Card finds it somehow and travels on it as a makeshift boat (hence Surf), and it gets the rest of it's moves in the actual things Thrash (The name can be different depending on the head), although Metronome comes in when you not use a Chap 1 file, the head is randomized. Dragon Dance, Focus Punch, and Slack Off comes from it's non head related abilities. Brave bird is there because nothing else could be easily used asa reference and it needed a flying type move to use anyways. Focus Punch and Bullet punch are here to refernce the timing when attacking, bullet punch for a instant hit while Focus Punch is when you timeitright and get the maximum damage available.

Dragons are no longer seen, but one of them may still be living quietly in a cave on an island somewhere. Who knows?
Pokémon: Ice Dragon
Origin: Kirby's Dream Land 2
Type: Ice/Dragon
Ability: Thick Fat / Refrigerate
Stats: 100/110/80/130/80/55 (555)
Notable Moves: Icicle Crash, Ice Shard, Frost Breath, Dragon Rush, Dragon Tail, Dragon Pulse, Draco Meteor, Rock Slide, Ancient Power, Body Slam, Rapid Spin
Reasoning: A fat fuck dragon that fought Kirby once, and then became Adeleine's signature summon and was also recreated by Holo Defense API. Obviously, it's a Dark/Fighting type, just look at its name! No but seriously it's a dragon that attacks with ice. Rock Slide because the way it summons icicles is kinda similar, Ancient Power because it's described as ancient, Body Slam because yes, Rapid Spin is because it can spin its tail like a propeller.

Unfortunately, Arle debuted in 1989, so I'll have to settle for this dingus instead.

Pokémon: Draco Centauros
Type: Water/Dragon
Ability: Flames of Fury (from MetalGreymon) / Competitive / Prankster
Moves: Puyo Pop (from Ringo Ando), Liquidation, Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rush, Dragon Claw, Dragon Tail, Close Combat, High Jump Kick, Sky Uppercut, Circle Throw, Flare Blitz, Draco Burning,* Blaze Kick, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Heat Wave, Frost Kick (Ice-type Blaze Kick), Shock Kick (Electric-type Blaze Kick), Knock Off, Play Rough, Iron Tail, Dragon Ascent, Acrobatics, Fly, Bounce, Earthquake, Darkest Lariat, Tail Slap, Mega Kick, Mega Punch, Slash, Rapid Spin, Scratch, Hold Back, Psychic, Dragon Dance, Aromatherapy, Trick Room, Magic Room, Stealth Rock, Spikes
*Fire, Physical, 105 BP, 90% Acc, 10 PP | Behaves like Sky Uppercut
Z-Move: Great Fire - Fire, Special, 200 BP | Requires Fire Blast and Dracocentaurium Z
Stats: 80/120/100/100/80/60 | 540 BST
Reasoning: Being from the same series as Ringo Ando, Draco Centauros has Water typing, Puyo Pop, Psychic, Trick Room, Magic Room, Stealth Rock, and Spikes in common with her. Dragon typing is a given, considering her name and her being the resident dragon character of the series. Most of her attacks are fire-based, including her Permutation counterpart (Great Fire), hence the Fire-type Steelworker. Competitive and Prankster, on the other hand, are simply personality traits. Other moves are based on the attacks in question.
Draco Punch: Mega Punch (basic punch attack)
Draco Upper: Sky Uppercut
Draco Burning (more powerful variant of Dragon Upper)
Dragon's Claw: Dragon Claw
Scratch
Lethal Dragon Kick: Mega Kick (basic kicking attack)
Godly Dragon Startle: High Jump Kick, Circle Throw (kick attack of high power; shuffles enemies)
Lethal Fire/Ice/Thunder Kick: Blaze/Frost/Shock Kick
Water Dragon Thigh: Liquidation
Wind Dragon Kick: Acrobatics, Knock Off (kicks away one of the enemy's items)
Lethal Miracle Kick: Play Rough (Light/Holy attack)
Draco Tail: Dragon Tail, Iron Tail
Tail Rush: Tail Slap (strikes the enemy rapidly with her tail)
Sonic Dive: Dragon Rush, Fly, Bounce (divebombs the target)
Dynasonic: Earthquake (Draco leaps into the air and pounds the ground, creating powerful shockwaves)
Draconic Typhoon: Dragon Ascent (With her hands, feet, and wings armed, Draco leaps at the enemy with full force)
Fire Breath: Flamethrower (Breathes fire on the target)
Burning Breath: Fire Blast (more powerful version of Fire Breath)
Great Fire Attack: Heat Wave (Draco releases flames from an unknown location and attacks)
Draco Special: Close Combat (a series of four punches, followed by a kick)
Blazing Dragon Spin Strike: Flare Blitz, Darkest Lariat, Rapid Spin (fire-based physical strike that involves kicking while spinning)
Demonic Dragon Dance: Dragon Dance
Draco Wink: Hold Back (seems to be a simple wink, yet is physical somehow)
Light of the Dragon's Eye: Draco Meteor (Draco summons a dragon using her magic)
Wind of Detoxification: Aromatherapy (allows Draco to cure allies or herself of statuses)

...and since I unsurprisingly have nothing else in mind, I'll throw in some obligatory off-slate resubs.

Pokémon: Alfyn
Type: Poison/Ice
Ability: Wonder Skin / Heightened Healing*
*The user, when regaining HP or PP, regains 1.3* the norm. (e.g. Recover heals 65%, Leppa Berry restores 13 PP, and Leftovers restore 13/160 (roughly 8%) HP per turn, but Wish does not heal extra if the recipient does not have Heightened Healing)
Signature Move: Amputation - Poison, Physical, 85 BP, 100% Acc, 15 PP | Non-contact. The doubles and halves in the offensive effectiveness of Steel override the corresponding values of Poison. That is to say:
2x Fairy, Grass, Ice, Rock
0.5x Electric, Fire, Ghost, Ground, Poison, Steel, Water
Other Moves: Ice Shard, Axe Strike (from Camilla), Slash, Reversal, Natural Gift, Fling, Clear Smog, Acid Spray, Ice Beam, Pollen Puff, Toxic, Recover, Refresh, Wish, Heal Pulse, Purify, Safeguard, Life Dew, Aromatherapy, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, Confuse Ray, Screech, Cotton Spore, Sweet Scent, Protect, Recycle, Aqua Ring, Quash, After You
Stats: 100/100/100/70/100/70 | 540 BST
Reasoning: Representative of the Apothecary Job in Octopath Traveler. Apothecaries have a means of poisoning (Toxic) and an Ice spell (Ice Beam) at their disposal and fight with axes (Axe Strike, Slash). They are also capable healers (Recover, Refresh, Wish, Heal Pulse, Purify, Safeguard) with niche support skills in Resist Ailments (Wonder Skin) and Heightened Healing. Alfyn in particular boasts a Talent called Concoct, a means of aiding allies and harming foes, explaining the rest of his movepool.

Pokémon: Neptune
Type: Electric/Fairy
Ability: Own Tempo / Oblivious / Truant
Signature Moves:
  • Cross Combo - Fairy, Physical, 25 BP, 100% Acc, 20 PP | Hits 2-5 times.
  • Victory Slash - Fairy, Physical, 50 BP, 90% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 2 times.
  • Stat Multiplier - Fairy, Other, 15 PP | Raises the Defense, Special Defense, and Speed of the user or an adjacent ally.
Other Moves: Zing Zap, Spark, Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade, Night Slash, Psycho Cut, Slash, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam, Flamethrower, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Incinerate, Swords Dance, Teleport
Z-Move: EXE Drive: Neptune Break - Fairy, Physical, 180 BP | Requires Cross Combo and Neptunium Z
Stats: 80/120/75/65/80/100 | 520 BST

Form: Neptune-Purple-Heart (Ultra Burst form with Purple CPU Memory)
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: HDD Neptune - Fairy, Physical, 210 BP | Has combined efficacy with Electric, except against Ground-types. | Requires Victory Slash
Stats: 80/135/105/80/100/120 (+15 Atk, +30 Def, +15 SpA, +20 SpD, +20 Spe) | 620 BST

Reasoning: Tiny, toony, and more than a little loony, Neptune is the most prominent CPU (Console Patron Unit) of Planeptune, as well as the titular character and series protagonist. She specializes in lightning attacks and is a mischievous pudding fanatic, hence Electric/Fairy. She gets Own Tempo (JP: My Pace) from her tendency to boast about her protagonist status, along with Oblivious and Truant for the same reasons as Plutia. (Truant is hidden because Neptune is not quite as slack.)
In-game, she is a physical DPS character with a unique supporting skill, although unfortunately most of her elemental coverage is on the special side.

Pokémon: Sylux
Type: Electric/Psychic
Ability: Mega Launcher / Skill Link / Tinted Lens
Signature Moves:
  • Shock Coil - Electric, Special, 20 BP, 95% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 2-5 times. If the user is Sylux, then it is healed for half the damage dealt.
  • Lockjaw - Psychic, Special, 40 BP, 70% Acc, 15 PP | Targets one adjacent foe. This move makes up to three accuracy checks that add to a counter on the opponent's side of the field. (Unlike Triple Kick, this is not affected by Skill Link.) If the counter reaches 3, then the target is hit three times, the move ends, and the counter resets. If an opponent switches out while the counter is below 3, then its replacement is hit that many times upon switching in, and the counter resets. This move builds up its counter against Dark-types, but it cannot damage them (although the counter does behave as normal). (Messages with counters below 3: "But it failed!" "[user] placed a bomb on the opponent's side!" "[user] placed two bombs on the opponent's side!")
Other Moves: Charge Shot (from Samus), Psyshock, Psybeam, Aura Sphere, Dark Pulse, Water Pulse, Ice Beam, Focus Blast, Lock-On, Zap Cannon, Flash Cannon, Hyper Beam, Sonic Boom, Psywave, Charge Beam, Agility
Stats: 105/80/95/125/95/85 | 585 BST
Reasoning: From a handheld spinoff of a critically acclaimed side series, Sylux is nigh identical to Samus, so numerous aspects are borrowed from her: base stats, Mega Launcher, Tinted Lens, and most of the movepool. Its signature weapon, the Shock Coil, makes Electric an obvious type, while Psychic relates to Sylux having mysterious propulsion capabilities in its Lockjaw form and more importantly being opposed to Samus.

A dazzling light enveloped Paula!
Pokemon: Paula
Franchise:
Earthbound
Type:

Ability: Prayer
Prayer: Each turn one of the following effects happen: recover 1/16 HP (50% chance), boost random stat of self (20% chance), debuff random stat of opponent (20% chance), cause opponent and self to sleep (4% chance), cause opponent and self to be confused (4% chance), cause opponent to cry (loaf around, 1% chance), deal 100 damage to opponent (1% chance)
Notable Moves: Magic Fry Pan, Psychic, Psyshock, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Ice Beam Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Giga Drain, Wide Guard, Reflect, Light Screen
Magic Fry Pan:
|
| 100 BP | 75% accuracy | Targets opponent's phys def | High crit-rate.
Stats: 79 / 67 / 61 / 142 / 108 / 113 (570 BST)

Reasoning: Paula is one of the main characters in Earthbound. She is a strong PSI user and has a mean swing when holding a Fry Pan. Of course being being able to use PSI abilities and being an actual psychic, Paula is a Psychic-type. Her signature ability, Prayer, comes from her in game ability, Pray. Prayer has similar random effects to how it works in Earthbound including effects such as minor healing, buffs and debuffs, hypnosis, 'strange', crying and dealing damage. The signature move, Magic Fry Pan is one based on her bash attack when holding the Magic Fry Pan item. In Earthbound the Magic Fry Pan increases Paula's guts (critical hit chance) and lowers her accuracy. Her other moves are based on PSI Fire, PSI Freeze, PSI Thunder, PSI Magnet (HP draining) and PSI Shield. Her stats are balanced to show her low HP and Def as well as her high affinity with PSI attacks and having the highest speed in Earthbound.

Time to do some resubs:

Regional Variant of: Youmu Konpaku

"Some call me a master of the sword, but I am merely a vagabond without a master to serve."

Pokémon: Youmu-Sword-Master (Touhou Lost Word)
Type: Steel/Ghost
Ability: Mysterious Sword Master
New Ability: Mysterious Sword Master- Cannot be copied, swapped or disabled. Slashing Moves do 1.3x damage. User's Roukanken does Steel or Fire-type damage, depending on which would be strongest, and hits the target's lower defensive stat. User's Hakurouken does Ghost or Electric-type damage, depending on which would be strongest, and hits the target's lower defensive stat (Hakurouken whose type is changed this way does full damage to Normal-types). User's Leaf Blade has its base power increased to 120. In a Double Battle, if the user's active teammate has the ability Tiny Ghost Mistress, the user's Attack is increased by 1.5x.
Notable moves: Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade, Swords Dance, Agility, Roukanken, Hakurouken, Slash, Night Slash, Extreme Speed, Psycho Cut, X-Scissor.
New moves:
Roukanken
: Steel-type. 90 BP, 100 Accuracy, 10 PP. Z-Move effect: 220 BP Corkscrew Crash. Super-effective against Ghost-types. High critical hit rate. Slashing move.
Hakurouken: Ghost-type, 50 BP, 100 Accuracy, 10 PP. Z-Move effect: 210 BP Never-Ending Nightmare. Always crits. Can hit Normal-types, but only does 1/4 of the base damage. Deals double damage to Ghost-types. Slashing move.
Stats: 100 HP/140 Atk/85 Def/110 SpA/80 SpD/125 Spe (BST: 640)
Reasoning: A version of Youmu Konpaku from an alternate universe seen in Touhou Lost Word. In said timeline, she is the first Konpaku to come under the service of Yuyuko Saigyouji, and otherwise went without a master. She severs the souls of those who lose fights in the Hakugyoku Arena and uses them to fuel the seal that keeps the Saigyou Ayakashi from fully awakening and destroying the world. For the sake of simplicity, we'll refer to her as Youmu Alter.

While this is an alternate universe counterpart, this IS still Youmu Konpaku we're talking about here, thus she has the obvious Youmu typing of Steel/Ghost because she's still a half phantom. Youmu's moves are mostly self-explanatory as the typical swordsman fare (like Swords Dance), with Youmu's swords being legendary weapons, hence why she has Sacred Sword, and Agility from being Youmu, somebody known for being able to move incredibly fast in short bursts. Said swords also serve as the basis for her signature moves, Roukanken and Hakurouken. The Roukanken is a katana forged by youkai that is said to be able to kill ten phantoms in a single stroke, hence the Super-effective against Ghost-types effect. The Hakurouken is a Konpaku heirloon: a wakizashi that severs the target's hesitation. While this is none too effective against the living, only causing mild discomfort (interpreted here as being able to hit Normal-types at 1/4 the strength), against the spirits of the dead, it instantly sends them to nirvana, removing them from the cycle of reincarnation, hence the 'always crits' and double super-effectiveness against Ghost-types by default.

However, Youmu Alter's Roukanken and Hakurouken behave a bit differently, as detailed in her Mysterious Sword Master ability (named after this Youmu's title). The adaptive damage effects of her signature moves detailed in her ability are based on her Spell Cards in Touhou Lost Word. Origin Mystery "Sohaya-Roukanken", where she uses the Roukanken to summon flames is the basis for Roukanken being able to deal Fire-type damage, whereas Origin Mystery "Raikiri-Hakurouken" where she calls forth lightning with the Hakurouken (then cuts it) is the basis for Hakurouken being able to deal Electric-type damage. Lastly, powering up Leaf Blade evokes Youmu Alter's Last Word, Combined Sword "Cherry Blossom in Full Bloom", which calls forth a vision of the Saigyou Ayakashi, swinging both her swords as one to deliver an overwhelming strike. Her ability also offers a synergy bonus with the ability of her master- her world's version of Yuyuko. This is because when you actually fight this Youmu in the story, she fights alongside her Yuyuko, the Tiny Ghost Mistress.

Her base stats were arranged in such a way to fit Youmu, while also matching the Witch of Scarlet Dreams' BST of 640.

"What's that? You wish to help me? Thank you. I can barely hold a large plate on my own."

Regional Variant of: Yuyuko Saigyouji

Pokémon: Yuyuko-Tiny-Ghost (Touhou Lost Word)
Type: Ghost/Grass
Ability: Perish Body/Tiny Ghost Mistress
New Ability: Tiny Ghost Mistress- Cannot be copied, swapped or disabled. If the user is Poisoned, Attack, Special Attack and Speed are increased by 1.5x. The user cannot be frozen. Additionally, the user has a Water-typing added to them upon switching in. Doubles the effect of allied food items (e.g. Berries, Leftovers). In Double Battles, the increased effectiveness of food items also affects the user's active teammate. User's Bug-type moves become Water-type. If the user's HP falls below 1/4, gains the Four of a Kind effect (Flandre's ability). In a Double Battle, if the user's active teammate has the ability Mysterious Sword Master, the user's Attack and Special Attack are increased by 1.5x. This stacks with the poison boost.
Notable moves: Yuyuko's moves, plus Attack Order, Bug Buzz. (Loses Quiver Dance)
Stats: 100 HP/140 Atk/ 80 Def/140 SpA/ 80 SpD/100 Spe (BST: 640)
Reasoning: A version of Yuyuko Saigyouji from an alternate universe seen in Touhou Lost Word (The same one as the Mysterious Sword Master, no less). The one running the Hakugyoku Arena, cooking meals for all those who appear before in said world- meals that may be their last, due to the signalling of The Hour- a time to fight. The seal on the Saigyou Ayakashi requires the souls of those who are defeated in the Hakugyoku Arena in order to keep functioning. Smol Yuyuko here is every bit as smart as the mainline Yuyuko, though.

Overall ability wise she's about the same as the mainline Yuyuko, having the same ability to invite people to their deaths. Her moveset is very similar to mainline Yuyuko, with the exception of getting Attack Order and Bug Buzz (Based on the spellcard Resurrection Butterfly), but losing Quiver Dance. Her stat spread is loosely based on both her stats in Touhou Lost Word and the mainline Yuyuko's stats, though she loses some overall bulk to gain some more speed and offensive power. As usual, her base stat total matches those of the Mysterious Sword Master and Witch of Scarlet Dreams.

The real meat of the difference comes in Smol Yuyuko's signature ability, Tiny Ghost Mistress. The first part of her ability, the supercharged Guts effect and freeze immunity, is based on Smol Yuyuko's innate passive in Touhou Lost Word, where she gains power bonuses for each barrier of hers that is frozen or poisoned. The additional Water-typing is based on the fact that her elemental breaks in Touhou Lost Word are exclusively Water-type, and present on every attack (this is also where making Bug Buzz and Attack Order water-type comes from). The buff to allied food comes from Smol Yuyuko's experience as a chef (Ironically, she makes food where the mainline Yuyuko devours it like nobody's business), and the Four of a Kind effect comes from Smol Yuyuko's Last Word, Saigyou Making a Human Figure at Mt. Koya, where she uses incense to (somehow) create four clones of herself which attack in her stead, and lastly, she has a synergy effect with her servant- Her world's version of Youmu. This is because when she is fought in Touhou Lost Word proper, she's fought alongside her Youmu, the Mysterious Sword Master.

And lastly, to truly make this submission, UFES Youyoumu edition, here is another UFES Youmu, this time with lightsabers.

“I'm Youmu Konpaku. You can rest assured now that I'm here. Because look, I can create beams of light around my swords!”

Regional Variant of: Youmu Konpaku

Pokémon: Youmu-Gardener (Touhou Lost Word)
Type: Steel/Electric
Ability: Lunar War Gardener
New Ability: Lunar War Gardener- Cannot be copied, disabled or removed. In a Double Battle, if the user's teammate's ability is Lunar War Shaman, Lunar War Enchanter, Lunar War Servant, Lunar War Oracle or Lunar War Soldier, the user's Speed and Attack are increased by 1.5x. User takes half damage from Dark, Psychic, Fairy and Ghost-type moves. User's Sound-based moves affect both opponents in a double battle. When the user uses a Sound-based move in a Double Battle, it raises one of the Ally Pokemon's stats at random (excluding Accuracy and Evasion). If the user is targeted by a Sound-based move, they take no damage and one of their stats is raised at random (excluding Accuracy and Evasion).
Notable moves: Leaf Blade, Swords Dance, Agility, Beam Roukanken, Beam Hakurouken, Slash, Night Slash, Extreme Speed, Psycho Cut, X-Scissor, Screech, Supersonic, Metal Sound
New moves:
Beam Roukanken
: Steel-type. 90 BP, 100 Accuracy, 10 PP. Physical. Z-Move effect: 220 BP Corkscrew Crash. 30% chance to Paralyze the target. High critical hit rate. Slashing move.
Beam Hakurouken: Electric-type, 50 BP, 100 Accuracy, 10 PP. Physical. Z-Move effect: 210 BP Gigavolt Havoc. Always crits. Can hit Ground-types, but only does 1/4 of the base damage. Slashing move.
New Z-Move: Spirit Power Dual Wave Cut- 75 BP. Upgrades from the Lunar War Gardener's Beam Roukanken or Beam Hakurouken with LastWordium Z. Hits twice. Always crits. 30% chance to paralyze. Does Steel- or Electric-type damage, depending on which would do more damage.
Stats: 100 HP/130 Atk/105 Def/100 SpA/100 SpD/105 Spe (BST: 640)
Reasoning: Another version of Youmu Konpaku from an alternate universe seen in Touhou Lost Word. She hails from the same timeline as the other Lunar War units. They use technology based on the various other denisens of Gensokyo, empowered by reverse-engineered lunar technology in order to stave off an incoming Lunarian threat, as their natural abilities were lost when magic itself became sealed away.

The immediate thing that may stand out about this Youmu is the fact that she isn't Ghost-type. This is because her phantom half had to be digitized in order to keep it around, and she lost most of her part-phantom traits. This is why the Ghost-type was replaced with an Electric-type instead. Her blades also lose their ghost-slaying abilities. In turn, however, thanks to being infused with the powers of Futo and Tojiko, they instead become lightsabers. This is the origin for the Lunar War Gardener's signature moves, Beam Roukanken and Beam Hakurouken. The paralysis chance on Beam Roukanken is based on her spell cards inflicting the Paralysis anomaly on enemy barriers, and Beam Hakurouken's effect is literally just Electric-type Hakurouken, complete with immunity-hitting- save for the extra damage vs. Ghosts.

Next, there's the big mess that's her ability, named after her title. The synergy effect with the other Lunar War characters is a given, as are the resistance to types associated with the moon, the former based on the Lunar War group's efficient fighting as a unit in the story, and the latter based on their temperaments in Touhou Lost Word, where they are all modified to resist Moon Phase. The most curious part about her though is the bonuses she gives to sound-based moves when she uses them. This is based on that headseat she's wearing, which plays the songs of the Prismriver Sisters, which allows her to run interference or support. This enhances her sound-based moves (which are exclusively status moves) to also power her teammate up and hit both opponents. This also gives her an amplified version of Soundproof, as headset's basis comes from Miko's earmuffs.

Following from that, we have her moveset- for the most part, it's standard Youmu fare, though since her swords lost any sort of magical properties, she lost access to Sacred Sword. In turn however she gains access to a couple of sound-based moves, which are there for the sake of Gardener's ability, most notably Metal Sound, Supersonic and Screech.

Related is the unique Z-Move, Spirit Power Dual Wave Cut, named for Gardener's Last Word. In essence, it combines the effects of the Roukanken and Hakurouken into one move and empowers them (due to the always crits effect, unless facing something like Battle Armor, it has an effective BP of about 112.5 per hit).

Lastly, Gardener's stats. They're themed around the other UFes Youmu, though she gives up some speed and offensive might for a bit more bulk.

No bonus theme this week but it's time for another Item Side-Slate. Along with your regular submissions you can also submit items from other video game franchises. Try ensure your items have a similar viability of those items already used in Pokemon. Weapons like the Energy Sword do not count as items but can be included as signature moves in regular submissions.

Submission phases now last two weeks so voting for this slate will start begin on ~5th of March.

Have fun.

you guys like boltbeam?

Item: Armor Bracing
Franchise/Origin: Terraria
Fling BP: 80
Effects: Prevents other Pokémon from lowering the Attack and Defense stats of the user. Does not affect stat drops that is self-inflicted by the user (Superpower).
Reasoning: A combination of Hyper Cutter and Big Pecks in one neat package, providing players an alternative to Adrenaline Orb for staving off Intimidate. Like how Mold Breaker counters abilities like Hyper Cutter and Big Pecks, Knock Off, Trick, Switcheroo, and Magic Room can prevent the user from using the item and its effects. It does not allow mons to just spam Superpower whenever they want like Boomburst - due to having to be rebalanced to mechanically match its ability inspirations as well as Clear Body and its equivalents.

(Resub)

Item: Samson’s Lock
Franchise/Origin: Binding of Issac
Fling BP: 10
Effects: User’s moves boost in power by 20% every time the user directly causes another Pokémon to faint (like the Moxie ability), up to a maximum increase of 100%. The power bonus resets to 0% if the user is withdrawn.
Reasoning: Samson's Lock does increase power of the player in Binding of Issac for every enemy kill like it does here. It's much less powerful than Moxie's effect due to the ability's power being a bit too much for an item. Even King's Rock's effect would have been better as a Pokémon ability (Stench).

– 100 BP – 5 PP – 100% – Future Sight behaviour when used, meaning it deals damage two turns later. The message that appears when used initially is "(user) opened a link to an ethereal plane!" If the user's friendship is 127 or lower, it will paralyze the target when it hits, however if the user's friendship is higher than 127, the base power of Baleful Omen is boosted by 50% instead of having a paralysis chance upon dealing its damage.

electric.png
4-move-status.png
– N/A – User summons unique Narukami Terrain lasting for 5 turns that prevents all opponents from using any moves that they share with the user, along with all normal effects given by usual Electric Terrain.
Stats: 108/108/67/108/94/115 (BST: 600)

Reasoning: As the Electro Archon, Raiden Shogun is pure-Electric type for adherence with the lore that the true form of Archons are masses of pure elemental energy. Her abilities consist of Lightning Rod, her only non-Hidden ability that is meant to illustrate her adherence to the Electric type, and an allusion to her initial plan to confiscate Visions of others in the Vision Hunt Decree like how Lightning Rod siphons away her foes' ability to use the Electric moves she claims to have full control over. Unaware as her Hidden Ability is to illustrate what Raiden Shogun… or Ei is behind the scenes. Unaware's ignorance of stat changes is to illustrate Ei's status as the God of Eternity and thus strongly against any forms of change, but also brings up to mind when she returns to the realm of Inazuma after her five centuries of isolation in the Plane of Euthymia, she is unable to adjust with the times and comes out as clueless and ditzy. Her potentially small movepool is (somewhat) saved by a high number of Psychic-type moves due to her experience in meditation (Meditite line) and similar mentally empowering activities (while in the Plane of Euthymia), some Ghost-types moves due to spoiler related reasons that are also partially tied to her associated constellation, Imperatrix Umbrosa, and various slashing/blade/sword moves due to her efficient use of naginatas and katanas. Her signature move, based on her Elemental Skill in her source material, is a Future Sight clone, which is kind of oxymoronic on Ei as a deity of eternity, but owing to her characteristic personality development from her emote-less persona as the Shogun puppet to showing her true emotions as herself, it takes into account Ei's friendship value when using it. Her Z-Crystal's name is proof that the incumbent Raiden Shogun is not actually named Baal after a demon of the Ars Goetia like previous Archons are named after and is instead named Beelzebul. Baal was Ei's late sister, Makoto. Beelzebulium Z's respective Z-Move (notably with a different move category from its base move like Eevee's Extreme Evoboost) allows Raiden Ei to summon an illusion (a word often mentioned in her voice lines/quotes) of her Plane of Euthymia to incur herself a "home-field advantage" as a terrain-like effect called Narukami Terrain, named after one of Ei's ephitets. Electro/Electric and Dendro/Grass are the only Genshin elements/Pokémon types to have their own respective (vanilla) terrain adhering to their element, thus Narukami Terrain gains all the effects of the ordinary Electric Terrain, which means her Electric moves gain a massive power boost along with what her STAB bonus already gives them.

4-move-special.png
- 120 BP - 10 PP - 90% - Two-turn attack, on the turn it is selected the user summons a sextet of magical snowflakes, and the move fully executes on the next turn unless Power Herb is used. If the user is damaged by a damaging move before the move is fully executed, the attacker who damaged the user suffers damage equal to 1/8th of their maximum HP however the BP of the move is reduced by half. Hits both opponents in Double Battles. Has a 10% chance of freezing each of its targets.
Stats: 102/95/80/85/95/95 (BST: 552)

Reasoning: Ice/Psychic-type due to being a cryokinetic magus (mage/witch) who can transform water vapour into her ice magic, which mainly comes in the form of Freudenstachel, a rally of sharp icicles like Icicle Spear, Cloyster's former signature move. Like Cloyster, Freudia shares her base Attack and Sp. Attack stats with it and has its Skill Link ability as her hidden ability. Levitate is one of her abilities via her ability to float in the air during her battles with Spiritia, her best friend, and a variant of Anger Point that runs on Sp. Attack, owing to her two types formerly being Special types of pre-Generation IV, due to how much main antagonist Iris Zeppelin managed to piss her off despite Freudia having a cold personality that belies the heat of anger, here called Resent Point. The needle-like nature of Freudenstachel comes with coverage moves Pin Missile and Spike Cannon. Schneekristal is one of her obtainable weapons in Rosenkreuzstilette Freudenstachel and uses a variant of that same special weapon if fought as a boss and owes its spread to how the weapon operates in both cases as to potentially hit multiple enemies at once. Her Ice-type movepool is massive and includes Aurora Beam and Aurora Veil due to Weißteufel's thematises. During her boss battle when the player is playing as Spiritia, she constantly vanishes and reappears as if teleporting (Phantom Force & Teleport). Her power and ability-stealing/copying abilities results in being able to use Mimic, Skill Swap, etc.

"Ring-a-ling! Lily here!"
Pokémon: Lily
Franchise/Origin: Granblue Fantasy/Rage of Bahamut/Shadowverse/Dragalia Lost

Abilities: Crystalian Veil (HA: Slush Rush)
Signature ability - Crystalian Veil - Halves the damage dealt to the ability's holder from Fire-type moves. Prevents the user from being burned.
Other Moves:

Stats: 75/55/50/115/108/82 (BST: 485)

Reasoning: Pure-Ice type due to being from an icebound world known as Crystalia. Crystalian Veil is mainly based on her various skills/traits/abilities from games such as Dragalia Lost, which prevents her and her allies from being burned, which is a status ailment also found in Dragalia Lost. Slush Rush is her hidden ability to ensure she gets extra benefits from her weather affinity. Base stats are roughly derivated from Granblue Fantasy by comparing her HP and Attack stats to other adventurers within Granblue Fantasy and calculating her six base stat categories from there. She is associated with Forestcraft in Shadowverse, also known as the Elf class in Japanese, which often carries fairies and such creatures within its class so Lily gets Fairy-type move coverage.

Clear Sparks -
electric.png
-
4-move-special.png
- 120 BP - 100% - 10 PP - Locks the user into the move for 2-3 turns ala Outrage, thus PP is only depleted on the first use of the move. Does not confuse the user after the last turn that the move is used unlike similar moves.
Stats: 77/57/50/82/100/85 (BST: 451)

Reasoning: Goldenglow is based on the Scottish Fold cat breed, which is also the inspiration for Espurr and its evolution Meowstic, thus she shares the Psychic type with them as her primary type. Her secondary type is Electric due to her Originium Arts being based on the static electricity she happens to build up in her system like the Mareep line. Her non-Hidden Abilities are Static and Aftermath, the former for obvious reasons (she can accidentally shock unwanted victims with her powers) and the latter for her lightning drones exploding on contact with foes whenever possible with her skills. Her Hidden Ability is Galvanize, primarily meant as an ability to circumvent the lacklustre nature of her base stats and BST (which are calculated straight from her source material, btw) via indirect addition of more power to her moves but to also draw in the fact that Goldenglow is kind of a living magnet as compasses always point towards her no matter what. Clear Sparks is her signature move, based on her third skill in Arknights proper, which locks her into the skill as she is unable to do any other attacks, normal or not - as testament to its Outrage based behaviour on use. Her massive number of Electric moves includes the essential Thunder Wave for her defensive nature during battle and Parabolic Charge as a way for her to stay healthy in battle despite the lack of recovery, fitting due to her status as a Scottish Fold cat having high amount of health complications. Calm Mind was needed to give her the best shot at succeeding outside of support roles using it for added boosts to her massive Special movepool - and as a Feline she also has the obligatory catty moves Fake Out and Assist - the former a very useful asset in Double Battles. Decorate came as a move in her moveset due to being a hairdresser and cosmetologist - as if she was decorating the hair of her allies. Hyper Voice and Tri Attack are mainly there to give her incentive to give Galvanize as much power as it needs - she's probably as liable to scream in fear like Jessica is.

Item: Cup of Molten Chocolate
Franchise: The Escapists
Effect: Using a move that makes contact will flinch the target, while also consuming the item.
Fling: 80 BP, Guaranteed Flinch
Reasoning: A staple item in the first entry of The Escapists. Combat against guards in that game was incredibly unreliable, and having a one-use item that had the power to immediately knock out a guard was really the best way to take them out. Knocking out a guard with this item means they are unconscious and cannot move temporarily, hence flinching.

Probably more subs to come

Heck it, three resubs.

"Its scale would never neglect the weight of even the smallest sin."
Pokémon: Judgement Bird
Type: Flying
Abilities: Unjust Scale (At the end of each turn, all active participants gain 1 Mark of Sin, which can be transferred via landing a damaging move. If attacking multiple targets with at least two Marks of Sin at once with this ability, the attack will be a guaranteed crit against each of them and remove all Marks of Sin from them. This effect also procs against any target with at least three Marks of Sin, regardless of the targeting for the move used against said target. If Shell Armor, Lucky Chant, etc. stops a crit from this ability, Marks of Sin will stay.) / Overcoat / Justified
Moves: Oblivion Wing, Night Shade, Shadow Ball, Perish Song, Roost, Dual Wingbeat, Punishment, Dazzling Gleam, Torment, Protect, Leer, Agility, Bind, Defog, Pain Split, Tailwind, Acrobatics, Air Slash
Stats: 60/55/100/140/100/75 [BST 530]

Reasoning: Flying because it's a bird (Doduo doesn't fly either so HAH) and would also get STAB on Oblivion Wing, which is there because it uses the most seldom-seen damage type in Lobotomy Corporation, that being Pale, taking the form of Death itself that assaults the soul. Pale Damage against Agents scales with their Max HP, the scaling modifier for that aspect returning 1 if the Max HP is 100 on the dot, so that also works for Night Shade. This also explains Perish Song, as its attack when breaching is accompanied with a chime, plus Dazzling Gleam because along Bird was once a completely radiant bird and said chime is accompanied with a brief shimmer. The move set in general takes cues from Doduo, Archen, and Galarian Zapdos, all of which are (questionably in Archen’s case but close enough) avian flying-types that in lore are unable to fly, as well as Air Slash due to its EGO Weapon being a sword (Zacian and Inteleon get it too, being unable to fly is no excuse) and being STAB. Bind is the end result of dealing fatal damage to a target; A noose shows up to finish them. HP is half that of Big Bird's, just as it is in Lobotomy Corp, and Defenses were calculated the same way, plus it being a WAW too and due to their history, it has the same BST of 530. When it breaches, it moves around at a somewhat average speed, but most Agents should be able to catch up to it easily. Punishment and Justified because of its judging nature. Speaking of which, Torment's JP name goes nicely with its unjust scales as well. Protect happens to be universal coverage and in Library of Ruina, it uses a move called Stare to defend itself from attackers, which also gives it Leer. Its mechanic in said game is that everyone else in the fight gains one Mark of Sin per turn and each combatant needs to transfer it to a Librarian, pronto. If at least three combatants other than Judgement Bird have at least three Marks of Sin each (for reference it starts out a 4v4 with Runaway Birds scared of Long Bird over here attacking the Librarians too), they instantly die at the start of the next turn's combat phase at the hands of Judgement Bird's Mass Attack "Ceaseless Judgement", and if that criteria isn't met but one participant has at least five Marks of Sin, it will try to use its other signature card, "Judgement", against them, which is all but guaranteed to proc the instakill effect unless intercepted by a Librarian with less than five Marks. Naturally, I had to nerf the instakills to guaranteed crits for that ability, which also takes cues from one of its Abnormality cards gained after defeating it that has the same effect, but Librarians can transfer Marks of Sin to enemies in turn and having at least five just hurts the bearer for 10% of their Max HP and clears all Marks. Agility isn't related to something Judgement Bird itself does, but Library of Ruina provides the grounds via the Floor of Philosophy's realization since the phase with its EGO has an attack where it has two hits such that if either lands, it gives the user haste. Same logic goes for Overcoat; the Justitia EGO phase is immune to the Burn, Bleed, and Fairy statuses due to the Tattered Bandages passive, and damage from statuses is nulled by the Abnormality Page obtained after that Realization corresponding to Judgement Bird, plus I imagine those bandages would help shield it from powder moves.

"The things that cannot be cut by my Roukanken, forged by youkai... are next to none!"
Pokémon: Youmu Konpaku
Type: Ghost/Normal
Abilities: Unaware / Inner Focus / Rattled
New Move: Hakurouken Slash (Physical, Ghost-type Clear Smog. Slash-based and makes contact.)
Moves: Sacred Sword, Slash, Night Slash, Shadow Claw, Razor Wind, Superpower, Extreme Speed, Quick Attack, Aerial Ace, Petal Dance, Leaf Blade, Psycho Cut, Shadow Ball, Dazzling Gleam, Mist, Fury Cutter, False Swipe, Cut, Air Slash, Brick Break, X-Scissor
Stats: 70/120/90/55/70/135 [BST 540]

Reasoning: Ghost/Normal because she's half-phantom and half-human; Not only does each half fit each type like a glove, but the typing as a whole also represents the paradoxical nature of her existence. Unaware because she's an airhead, and Rattled because ghosts scare her (yes really), with Inner Focus due to always having a clear eye on her objective, something she makes very clear when Yuyuko seemingly gets sidetracked. She wields two swords, the Roukanken and Hakurouken, which can cleave open beings and confusion respectively, the latter of which also entails sending phantoms to Heaven, be they otherwise permitted there or not, though humans are just dealt mild discomfort. Her moves are based on her attacks and skills throughout the Touhou games. Superpower in particular because some of her attacks are named after the Animal Realm and Superpower's JP name can also be read as "Animal Power". And speaking of, she's noted for blinding speed as she cuts down things with a sword that can cleave MANY things, and in later mainlines games her focused "fire" is actually charging up a huge slash that is only unleashed after you release the focus or shoot button.
“And the many shells cried out one word: “Manager”.”
Pokémon: Nothing There
Origin: Lobotomy Corporation
Type: Normal
Ability: Regenerator / Hardness (Damage taken from moves with <60BP is halved.) / Imitation (Renamed Illusion.)
Notable moves: Cut, Guillotine, Slash, Night Slash, X-Scissor, Iron Defense, Harden, Drain Punch, Flail, Spike Cannon, Mimic, Reflect Type, Giga Impact, Copycat, Fury Swipes, Protect
Signature move: Metamorphosis (Species-locked to Nothing There, and fails in its Evolved form. Restores 50% of Max HP and changes form. Becomes Coccoon form if in Base form, but inflicts Hyper Beam cooldown. Cocooned form is locked into this move and becomes the Evolved form without needing to recharge, upon which it can use any move of choice again. Evolved form stays for the rest of the battle, but switching out the Cocooned form reverts it. Dispels Illusion(/Imitation) and does nothing else if used while one is active.)
Stats: 130/100/110/50/60/120 [BST 570]
(Coccooned) 130/100/160/50/85/45 [BST 570]
(Evolved) 130/160/160/50/110/60 [BST 670]

Reasoning: Normal because no other type seems to fit. Its whole shtick is trying to kill employees in containment to use as suits, and in fact all of its forms are just armor. Speaking of which, it has great resistance to physical damage in its base form, but past that not only is it completely immune to the such, but it also takes increasingly less damage from other damage types. It mainly scratches at employees in its base form and when evolved, punches, fires projectiles from its hands, or deals a DEVASTATING slash that will absolutely do in any employee that either doesn’t have top tier Fortitude(/HP) or isn’t wearing the best armor against physical damage in the game. Its legendary-tier BSTs reflect it being in the top Abnormality Risk Level of the five there are: ALEPHs. Also if it doesn’t take damage for some time then it heals. Drain Punch because of its punch attack and because the EGO Weapon fashioned after it, Mimicry, heals the user when striking a target. Hardness is from Library of Ruina, where instances of damage that fall below a certain threshold are nulled.
Heck it, new sub time.

“People have been committing sins since long ago. "Why do they commit sins, knowing it's wrong?"”
Pokémon: Punishing Bird
Origin: Lobotomy Corporation
Type: Normal/Flying
Ability: They Must Be Punished! (Forme-changes into Punishing forme when struck by an attack, gaining HP a la Power Construct, which is forced to select damaging moves. Reverts if it switches out, only losing HP if it exceeds the maximum of its base forme, in which case it has full HP. From here, the "punishee" refers to the most recent attacker to hit Punishing Bird. Attacks are redirected towards the "punishee" unless the move bypasses redirection; If they hit another target, it deals halved damage. Revert to base forme if the "punishee" faints.)
Notable moves: Sucker Punch, Fury Attack, Peck, Bite, Crunch, Rock Smash, Pluck, Dual Wingbeat, Payback, Fly, Aerial Ace, Roost, U-Turn, Counter, Steel Wing, Agility, Punishment
Stats: 25/50/40/25/40/100 [BST 280]
(Punishing) 75/200/40/75/40/100 [BST 530]

Reasoning: The typing and movepool draw cues from mons such as Pidove and Spearow, as Punishing Bird is seemingly just an annoying small bird that is just about the Abnormality of least concern should it breach (this happens a lot) and be left unchecked. Emphasis on "left unchecked"; Sic an Agent on it, and Punishing Bird will turn red, gaining an HP boost; If the Agent's in striking range, it reveals a huge, serrated maw on its stomach to deal LUDICROUS physical damage, a surefire kill without technically being instadeath, so there's your biting moves and Rock Smash. (For reference this hits more than twice as hard as anything an ALEPH, which is to say one of the deadliest Abnormalities in the whole of the facility, can dish out) Punishing Bird's Punishing forme's bulk is scaled off Big Bird's and the two have the same BST, all due to a shared past. The HP of its Punishing forme in-game is a multiple of that of its base forme, so that's the case too here. Other things such as the name of the ability, Sucker Punch, and Rock Smash are from Library of Ruina.
And how about a fourth resub?
fits of rage! For the wages of sin is death, and the freedom of God-[ANGRY SCREECHING NOISES]”
Pokémon: Dogma
Origin: The Binding of Isaac: Repentance
Type: Electric/Flying
Ability: Serene Grace
Notable moves: Thunder Wave, Shock Wave, Discharge, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Zap Cannon, Feather Dance, Rapid Spin, Wild Charge, Fly, Air Slash, Air Cutter, Dazzling Gleam, Taunt, Torment, Confuse Ray, Reflect, Substitute, Light Screen, Protect, Flash Cannon, Thrash, Screech, Hyper Beam, Hyper Voice, Dual Wingbeat, Psycho Cut, Steel Wing, Eerie Impulse, Brutal Swing, Uproar
Stats: 53/91/76/131/123/106 [BST 580]

Reasoning: Being made of static and emerging from a TV to confront the player much like how Rotom does, it (along with the Eye/Camillo Jr. mooks) is one of the closest things in its game to a hostile electricity user. It also flies during the second phase with wings and attacks with static-like feathers, so that’s Flying. It attacks with bullets, sometimes of the variety that hurt Isaac if he stays too close for too long, as well as a massive static laser that curves in an attempt to hit him. Phase 1 is bound to a TV and it is invincible until said TV goes down, whereupon Phase 2 starts. Phase 2 will occasionally charge across the arena spinning plenty of times and at other times attack by generating an orb of light that fires telegraphed lasers everywhere.

Item: Garbage Reflector
Franchise: Puyo Puyo Tetris
Effect: If the holder switches in or regains this item using Recycle, then this item is instantly consumed to reflect hazards from the holder's side for three turns or until the holder is switched out by any means other than Baton Pass. (If this effect is already active when the item is used, then the turn counter resets.)
Fling: Cannot be flung
Reasoning: Similar to the Garbage Cleanup item from the same game, except it essentially has a "Return to sender" effect with a limited duration. (In-game, it only affects the user.)

Item: Player Pin
Franchise: The World Ends with You
Effect: When the holder switches in, the effects of Frisk and Forewarn are applied to all foes without a Player Pin.
Fling: 10 BP
Reasoning: This pin is bequeathed upon those destined to play the Reaper's Game, known as Players (hence the term "Player Pin"), and it allows them to hear the thoughts of ordinary Shibuya residents (through "Scanning").

Reasoning: This is a mole thing reminiscent of Excadrill and Diggersby. It's not armored enough to be Steel-type, so Normal/Ground makes the most sense. Its Abilities relate to its anatomy, while its movepool consists of things that it does as a boss, as well as things that it could do if it were a real creature.

Pokémon: Phantom
Type: Normal/Ghost
Ability: Levitate
Moves: Boomburst, Hyper Voice, Uproar, Round, Echoed Voice, Shadow Ball, Power Gem, Disarming Voice, Frustration, Return, Body Slam, Poltergeist, Phantom Force, Shadow Sneak, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Rock Tomb, Beat Up, Attack Order, Defend Order, Recover, Parting Shot, Stealth Rock, Sing, Taunt, Roar, Substitute
Stats: 148/100/64/100/64/92 | 568 BST
Reasoning: A Rabbid, a Boo Balloon, and a phonograph combine to form this bloated opera star, best represented as Normal/Ghost with Levitate. From his introduction, he gets straight to dissing Mario (in proper English, unlike other Rabbids), thus Parting Shot and Taunt. In battle, his voice acts as a rocket launcher (AoE weapon) that pushes targets away, similarly to Roar. He also packs a technique called Stone Deaf, which petrifies the first foe to enter its range, hence the Rock-type portion of his movepool.
Beat Up, Attack Order, and Defend Order are based on the minions that accompany him in battle, with Heal Order excluded because the minions don't heal him. Instead, he heals himself once per phase transition, so he gets Recover. As for Substitute, the whole gimmick behind the fight is to destroy the spotlights that protect him from harm, and what better way to represent that?
(His base stats are derived and improved from those of Drifblim. Also worth noting that his HP maxes out at 500, which is exactly his max HP in-game.)

Pokémon: Shiba Miyakaze
Type: Fire/Bug
Ability: Blaze / Levitate / Swarm
Moves: Flaming Sword (physical Flamethrower; revised Tahu Toa move), Attack Order, Fury Cutter, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Signal Beam, Infestation, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Earth Power, Sacred Sword, Secret Sword, Psycho Cut, Psyshock, Slash, Draco Meteor, Power Trip, Swords Dance, Quiver Dance, Substitute, Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Detect, Double Team
Stats: 100/100/75/111/89/125 | 600 BST
Reasoning: Shiba is all about fire-related puns and has a fiery aura in battle, so Fire typing and Blaze are obligatory. Bug typing and Quiver Dance (JP: Butterfly Dance) are based on his connection to butterflies, namely in his Noise symbol and the illusory effect by which he conceals and clones himself. As the Game Master, and thanks to the Executor, he has the ability to summon Noise: the basis of Attack Order and Infestation. (Sound moves are tempting, but NEO TWEWY has a Sound element, and attacks of that element do not resemble the Noise.) Other techniques include firing energy orbs (Psyshock), creating shock waves in the ground (special STAB, Ground coverage), a sword attack (Flaming Sword, Fury Cutter, Fighting coverage, Psycho Cut, Slash, Swords Dance), a meteoric attack (Draco Meteor), and Levitating during battle. Swarm, Substitute, and Double Team come from his cloning technique; Detect from evasive maneuvers; Power Trip and Taunt as aspects of his character.

Pokémon: Uni
Type: Fire/Steel
Ability: Sniper / Skill Link
Signature Moves:
  • Brave Cannon - Steel-type Bone Rush variant
  • Venom Shot - Steel-type Poison Jab variant that does not make contact but is blocked by Bulletproof
  • Paralysis Shot - As above, but inflicts paralysis instead of poison
  • High Grenade - Fire, Physical, 30 BP, 95% Acc, 10 PP | Hits 1-4 times. Blocked by Bulletproof.
  • Volcano Bullet - Fire-type special Rock Blast variant
  • Icicle Bullet - As above, but Ice-type
  • Multi Support - Steel, Other, 15 PP | Raises the Attack, Defense, and Speed of the user or an adjacent ally.
Other Moves: Pyro Ball, Magnet Bomb, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Flash Cannon, Seed Bomb, Bullet Seed, Rock Blast, Pin Missile, Spike Cannon, Barrage, Aura Sphere, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Air Slash, Snipe Shot, Lock-On, Agility, Scary Face, Teleport
Stats: 80/100/90/70/70/90 | 500 BST

Form: Uni-Black-Sister (Ultra Burst form with Black Candidate Memory)
Ability: Levitate
Z-Move: EXE Drive: NGP - Steel, Physical, 210 BP | Has combined efficacy with Fire. (Does not trigger Flash Fire.) | Base: Brave Cannon
Stats: 80/120/105/90/80/125 (+20 Atk, +15 Def, +20 SpA, +10 SpD, +35 Spe) | 600 BST

Reasoning: A perfectionist firearm geek, Uni is the CPU (Console Patron Unit) Candidate of Lastation. She specializes in fire attacks, and Lastation is a land known for its industry, hence Fire/Steel. She is evidently a Sniper, and she has her fair share of rapid-fire attacks, thus Skill Link.
In-game, she plays the role of a ranged attacker, and Megadimension Neptunia VII gave her a handy boosting move in Multi Support. Her movepool reflects her weaponry and her in-game skill set. (That's why she has so many signature moves.)

...and just when I thought I only had resubmissions...

Pokémon: Molgera
Type: Ground
Ability: Sand Veil / Rough Skin / Arena Trap
Moves: Earthquake, Dig, Sand Tomb, Crunch, Bite, Iron Tail, Slam, Giga Impact, Breaking Swipe, Fly, Attack Order, Defend Order, Coil, Spikes, Sandstorm
Stats: 120/160/80/50/100/90 | 600 BST
Reasoning: This sand worm is the final boss before Ganondorf. It fights in a sandy environment, and based on how the sand disappears when it dies, it surely must be directly responsible for the sand. Therefore, it is Ground-type with Sandstorm. Abilities are Sand Veil because it blends in with the sand, Rough Skin because...well, just look at it, and Arena Trap for the same reason Trapinch gets it: because it spends most of its time in a sand pit with its mouth wide open. (This also supports Sand Tomb, Crunch, and Bite.) While in this state, it summons offshoots to attack Link, hence Attack/Defend Order. (Heal Order is excluded due to no healing involved.) When at low HP, it flies around (somehow) and eventually burrows into the sand, thus Fly and Dig. Other moves are based on its anatomy as a serpentine creature with a notably large and menacing tail. (Spikes is there because the tail looks like it could shed them.)

User's Spacial Rend becomes Physical. In a Double Battle, if the user's active teammate has the ability Tiny Ghost Mistress, the user's Attack is increased by 1.5x.
Notable moves: Sacred Sword, Leaf Blade, Swords Dance, Agility, Roukanken, Hakurouken, Slash, Night Slash, Extreme Speed, Psycho Cut, X-Scissor, Spacial Rend.
New moves:

Lastly, a move that probably needs a lot of explanation is Spacial Rend, the factoids of which come as Spoilers for Chapter 3 Act 3 of Touhou Lost Word. See, in the Touhou universe, time and space are closely linked to each other, enough to allow Sakuya's time manipulation abilities to also let her manipulate space to make the Scarlet Devil Mansion bigger on the inside a la the TARDIS (as mentioned in the Gensokyo Chronicle). Chapter 3: Act 3 reveals that this Youmu has the ability to 'cut through time', allowing her to go back to an earlier point in the timeline, at the cost of distorting reality around her (This is the reason why the Tiny Ghost Mistress is, well, tiny). Since Time and Space are linked in Touhou, the obvious choice here would be to give Youmu Alter Spacial Rend. It's also made physical so that Youmu Alter can viably use it.

A dazzling light enveloped Paula!
Pokemon: Paula
Franchise:
Earthbound
Type:

Ability: Prayer
Prayer: Each turn one of the following effects happen: recover 1/16 HP (50% chance), boost random stat of self (20% chance), debuff random stat of opponent (20% chance), cause opponent and self to sleep (4% chance), cause opponent and self to be confused (4% chance), cause opponent to cry (loaf around, 1% chance), deal 100 damage to opponent (1% chance)
Notable Moves: Magic Fry Pan, Psychic, Psyshock, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Ice Beam Blizzard, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Giga Drain, Wide Guard, Reflect, Light Screen
Magic Fry Pan:
|
| 10 (16) PP | 100 BP | 75% accuracy | Targets opponent's phys def | High crit-rate.

Item: Spicy Eel
Franchise
: Stardew Valley
Effect: If held by a Pokémon, it gains +1 speed and Serene Grace effect, but will cause confusion if it hates spicy food.
Fling: 10 BP
Reasoning: Spicy Eel grants the player extra speed and luck in Stardew Valley. Spicy pinch berries cause confusion to Pokemon that hate spicy food, so it makes sense for Spicy Eel to have the same effect. Keep in mind that timid and modest Pokemon hate spicy food so the Serene Grace effect is not as easily abused for spreading status and being activated at low health mitigates Jirachi-esque flinch sweeping.

The Hollow Knight.png

THE HOLLOW KNIGHT
By its sacrifice, Hallownest remains eternal.

Pokémon: The Hollow Knight
Origin: Hollow Knight
Type: Ghost/Poison
Ability: Defeatist / Infection's Heart*
*Infection's Heart: Comatose clone, but considered poison instead of sleep
Stats: 100/115/85/115/55/80 (550)
Notable Moves: Sacred Sword, Slash, Aerial Ace, Night Slash, Close Combat, Phantom Force, Teleport,Lunge, Quick Attack, Counter, Megahorn, Poltergeist, Facade, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Earth Power, Bounce, Roar, Curse
Reasoning: The chosen savior of Hallownest, born of god and void, and set to lay down their life for the kingdom's safety. Given the fact that the threat to the kingdom was The Infection, maybe the Pale King should have invested less in weapons and combat training and more in making sure there were no mental vulnerabilities to exploit - as the Hollow Knight couldn't hold The Infection in forever. Though, even in their current sorry state, the Hollow Knight is still a very formidable threat.

Ghost from being a Void entity. Poison from using a fuckton of corrosive liquids. Slashing moves and Close Combat due to their impressive nail skills (nails being the setting's equivalent of swords). Lunge and Quick Attack from a specific move where they... well, lunge at The Knight with their nail at high speeds. Counter due to doing that. Phantom Force and Teleport due ot teleportation. Sludge Bomb and Sludge Wave from their attack that fires blobs of Infection. Fire moves and Earth Power due to summoning pillars of infected flame from the ground. Bounce from... doing that. Roar from also doing that. Curse due to being a Ghost-type who stabs themself with a nail, like Curse's animation.

While not directly modeled off of any attacks used in-game, Megahorn reflects their large horns, Poltergeist is a common Ghost STAB (and fits with their sibling's use of ghosts as weapons), and Facade is due to being presented as a pure being despite having a critical vulnerability in their mind - their bond with their father.

Defeatist due to becoming seriously weaker in their last phase. Infection's Heart to to containing an entire plague inside themself.

Pokémon: Pure Vessel
Origin: Hollow Knight: Godmaster
Type: Ghost/Bug
Ability: Pressure
Stats: 100/145/85/145/105/90 (670)
Notable Moves: Sacred Sword, Slash, Aerial Ace, Night Slash, Close Combat, Phantom Force, Teleport, Lunge, Quick Attack, Counter, Megahorn, Poltergeist, Facade, Psycho Cut, Pin Missile, Spikes, Power Whip, Focus (see The Knight)
Reasoning: The Hollow Knight in their prime, before being weakened by the infection. The two forms share many moves, but the Pure Vessel deals twice as much damage, and loses the infection-related attacks in exchange for their own divine power.

Their main magic consists of forming large amounts of nails, used both as projectiles (Psycho Cut, Pin Missile) and forming form the ground as Spikes. Power Whip from summoning Void Tendrils from their body. Focus due to using a variant of the technique as an attack.

"So... tired..."
Pokémon: Ruined Dragon / Lord of Lightning
Origin: Super Mario Odyssey
Type: Electric/Dragon
Ability: Galvanize / Battle Armor / Electric Surge
Stats: 80/100/140/115/125/40 (600)
Notable Moves: Dragon Pulse, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Discharge, Dragon Claw, Wild Charge, Headbutt, Iron Head, Head Smash, Ice Fang, Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Waterfall, Surf, Dual Wingbeat, Roost, Thunder Wave
Reasoning: The dragon who lives in, and probably is responsible for the state of, the Ruined Kingdom. Electric/Dragon due to being a dragon who uses electricity in literally all of his attacks. That's also why Galvanize. He gets a defensive spread due to being EXTREMELY resistant to damage, ignoring every hit that isn't to one single weak spot - which he covers with a kabuto helmet that has to be taken off, hence Battle Armor. Electric Surge because he's prooobably the reason why the Ruined Kingdom is full of lightning all the time. He gets Dragon Pulse from being a dragon with a breath weapon, and Dragon Clawe because he has claws that can cut through stone. He also gets the common Electric moves. One of his attacks involves slamming his head into the ground, hence the head moves. The floor in the rematch is slippery, hence some Ice and Water coverage. Also Roost and Dual Wingbeat becuse wings.

Item: Delicate Flower
Origin: Hollow Knight
Effect: Multiplies power of light-based moves by 1.2x. Breaks if the user is hit.
Fling Effect: 10 BP.
Reasoning: A sacred flower that the Grey Mourner asks you to deliver to her lover's grave. It glows with a faint light, and breaks if anything hits you while you're carrying it.
