General Fighting Game Discussion

not having troubles with ghost rider yet, or at least the jumpins S spamming variant, probably because Ill just rocket blast them with Nemesis, although I need to spend more time with the team I use in training mode more :P
 
I just do Cap cartwheel through jump S Ghost Riders. And then I laugh as I hit an easy mode 800k combo. Jump S Ghost Riders get more annoying when you put a drones/beam assist with it. Then it's 2001 Marvel 2 where you can't stop jump back Doom j.hp and Sent drones.
 
Why the hell do they have that "automatic jump after launchers" mechanic? I keep double jumping in the middle of it, which cuts me off short and completely ruins my Trish combos. And you can't toggle it off per-player apparently, so in tournament I might have to just deal with it. =[ How was it even necessary. >_>

You can turn that off in the options menu somewhere. Thats the 1st thing I did beside changing characters voices around from english to japanese. Its also probably there for nubs who apparently cant jump right after using S.
 
Best fighting game

Tekken!! is the best 2 player fighting game.... I love it, playing with my cousins and everything.... Always jump up whenever theres a close fight....
 
Hey guys Im looking for a 3rd fighter in my umvc3 team. I got Vergil,XXX,Wesker. I use wesker as anchor because well level3 Xfactor+glasses off win me alot of matchea and his assist greatly extends my combos with vergil. Usually 1 combo with vergil and wesker assist usually gets me a good 400-500k damage. Though I don't know who to put in between. I currently pitted ryu/akuma mainly because of their assist help me extend combos further and the bnb's are easy to execute. Though they seem more of just a filler. I was thinking of Dr.Doom, Ammy, storm, or crimson viper. Suggestions?


EDIT: Well now Im using mag as 2nd assist, and well he's been doing swell.
 
Yeah, we sit lonely on #fighting regretting that I never named it #fucktheknicks.

AE 2012 is tomorrow, I think? I should probably go buy AE then haha.

Does anyone else just not watch UMvC3 games when each player uses Wesker, and otherwise only when its a unique team against one Wesker?
