Due to Heatrans Great Spec. Attk, its decent physical attack stat is often overlooked outside of explosion. This set plans on utilizing its 90 base attack. If anyone has a better ev spread/moveset feel free to throw it out

Why set should be on site:
-Unlike any other heatran set therefore not outclassed by othersets
-Explosion guarentees atleast one KO because anything that can take explosions flee from heatran bar gengar(Ghosts and Steels), Unlike other heatran sets, this heatran is guarenteed to OHKO the likes of suicune, Vaporeon etc.
-Stone edge slams switchins such as gyrados and salamence

Additional Comments:
-Overheat can be used with a -def nature instead of attack if firefangs damage output is lackluster
-SleepTalk allows it to be a potential sleep absorber

Teammates:
-Pokemon that gain from the disappearance of Bulky waters
 
Let me explain why this set IS outclassed by other Heatran sets. Whatever you are going to be hitting with Fire Fang will be hit harder by Life Orb Fire Blast. So that right there should be reason enough to not use this set, as it has weaker STAB. Stone Edge does have one use, and that is hitting Gyarados. However, it still won't kill after Intimidate and Stealth Rock while you can simply use Hidden Power Electric to always OHKO. While you do get an extremely powerful Explosion, it is overkill. You don't need a Choice Band to OHKO Blissey, Gyarados, Salamence, maybe Suicune. If it comes in on a Life Orb Fire Blast or Hidden Power Grass it is very unlikely that it too won't be KOed by a Life Orb Explosion. In short, the Life Orb set outclasses this in nearly every way and you fail to explain why any one would use this set other than to get a cheap laugh every once in a while.
 
I really don't see the point of this apart from a more powerful Explosion, which Life orb sort of fixes anyway. The lack of a good STAB really sucks. I mean, an unboosted Fire Blast from neutral natured 252 SpA Heatran does more than a Choice Banded Fire Fang. Not worth it, in my opinion.
 
Heatran attack stat and physical movepool is a let down. So I doubt this set will be effective outside the suprise factor. Explosion is the only physical attack worth mentioning tbh.
 
Actually this set doesn't beat bulky waters, you're still totally walled by them without resorting to Explosion, which kinda defeats the point since Special Heatran can just use HP Grass to achieve the same effect. So the only point of this set is to Explode on Blissey, which Special Heatran can do anyways.
 
I don't see the point of this set either tbh. As mentioned before it gets outclassed by its other special spectrum sets, and requires heavy prediction to actually work. Apart from the prediction it will usually end of being setup and death fodder, resulting from its lack of power and reliable STAB.
 
or rather just use anything because any Pokemon with a mildly decent Attack and physical movepool is much better than this set. iirc this set has already been brought up and rejected before, so this isn't going to happen.
 
Sorry, going to have to say no to this set as well. It's gimmicky at best. Heatran's Attack stat is passable, but it just doesn't get any good STAB on the physical side.
