I always hated when my Mom would waste my money on dolls, but using her to abuse for items from my contacts was fun. =]

Iirc, you would change the time using DST, and some random contact would call you saying they had something for you. Really useful when gathering stones.
 
If you pre-order from play-asia do you get the pre-order statue? Probs not.. But I hope so?

I guess I can get gold import then silver in america for the figure.
 
I think I would have rather seen the Pokewalker as a pre-order gift as opposed o being packaged in with the game. I'm not sure how much that thing will increase prices, but I'm sure it will.
 
It won't. The games cost 4,800 yen, the same price of Platinum, and come with the Pokéwalker already.


And play-asia doesn't have the pre-order figures; I guess it's because they're from Hong Kong, and only Japanese stores have them.
 
Really? I just imagined adding somehitng like that to the games would bump the price up some... They must really be expecting to get a ton of reenue forom these games (and they will =P).
 
So.. there's a hidden move for Lugia AND Ho-Oh? Is it confirmed to be a new move?

Sorry if some of these have been posted before, I just thought I would post them all together in the same spot.
 
I think that the 3 legendary dogs/beasts/whatever should get extremespeed because, after all they are all "runners" and in a movie suicune runs across water. Perhaps Eusine can teach it to them after you've captured them all (beast's version of frenzy plant etc, exclusive to the beasts). This is just wishful thinking though, in the hope of an entei improvement, but if there are any pokemon that perhaps should learn Extremespeed it should be the dogs imo.
 
Actually, just making Esuine an Extremespeed tutor would solve that problm, as well as allow for an ES Dragonite. Only wishful thinking, but still. =P

The only one I could really see even using ES is Entei and unless he gets some better moves(like Flare Blitz or EQ) he still won't be used that much. Suicune has a low Attack stat and is better off not using it while Raikou is fast enough not to need it, and, like Suicune, doesn't have a great attack stat and is better playing off of it's superior Special Attack.

EDIT: Agreeing with Xia, making Eusine a ES tutor for more than just the dogs(or cats, whatever) would allow things like Dragonite to get ES which would be freakin sexy.
 
HAY! If there is an extreme speed move tutor (why not? 0_o) then I reckon staraptor could learn it! Staraptor for OU! I love the picture of the legendary dogs emerging from the ashes by the way, with soul and euisune looking down from the brocken cealing.

this is not an issue of viability/use i was just saying that just maybe it could happen because these dogs run around at lightning speeds

I didn't say it couldn't happen, I was talking about what I thought would happen if it does since Entei is the only one that would really benefit from this assuming he got more moves to use.

I believe the Arceus movie starts airing in theaters on Saturday in Japan, so Arceus will begin being given out then.

As for the U.S., I'd assume that the Arceus event will be given out at Toys R Us locations here near the time the Arcues movie is released, whenever that will be (which should be a few months after the Arcues movie is released on DVD in Japan, I figure).
 
It's just occurred to me that all the cool G/S/C tunes will be getting remixed. :O

Can't wait to see how GameFreak've remixed them all. The entire G/S/C soundtrack is so nostalgic even though I played with the volume off 99% of the time.
 
I wonder how come you need the national pokedex too see some pokemon? Are they invisible until then or do they avoid trainers without them?
 
National Dex only made pokémon "invisible" in FRLG. As an example, you couldn't evolve your Golbat to Crobat before getting it. In R/S, it was never given to you; you just had to trade with a game having a National Dex and you'd automatically get it. Any game after Emerald either had new areas with non-regional pokémon unlocked after getting the National Dex and/or the Pokéradar, that lets you know where the pokémon are, specifically.

The best part of Pokéradar is that, as it points out exactly where the pokémon are with the possibility of them being supposedly non-regional pokémon, they can totally add it to HGSS so we can find Hoenn/Sinnoh pokémon in Kanto/Johto and not feel guilty about it. "The pokémon were always there, you just were too incompetent to see them before without this high-tech radar!".

I wonder if they will use the FRLG music or remix it again for the music that was on FRLG. And yeah, I love some of the routes' music a lot. And I know them from VGMusic and not GSC (although I don't know if it would have been better, but...).
 
The picture that has me scratching my head the most is the picture of Clair's gym puzzle. From the looks of it, you step out onto a platform that moves diagonally, like the paths do in the Distortion World.

EDIT: yes Familiar Trainer, I meant Clair. =P
