How do YOU dispose of Blissey?

Well, currently on my Rain Dance team, Kingdra seems to be KOing Blissey more than anything else. Most switch in expecting Draco Meteor, Surf, Ice Beam.. but they'll receive a rain boosted Waterfall to the face. ^_^

It's curious because it's the first set in the analysis, and the most useful in my opinion. Other than that, I depend on Toxicroak/Kabutops to survive long enough to finish her in the end. Occasionally I'll have an exploding Qwilfish as well.

Just to let you guys know, Electrivire comes just short of a OHKO on 104 hp/252 def Bold Blissey, even with max attack and a life orb. IIRC at most it does about 98%. When I used Electrivire, I found it hard to get it to kill blissey as it wouldn't stay in at all, and LO would run down my HP too much.

For me, Breloom completely owns Blissey with Spore and Focus Punch. Even though Blissey breaks my sub, it doesn't do much more damage, and I sometimes opt for Sky Uppercut instead.

Have you actually had Blissey's try to outstall Electrivire (most likely giving him a Motor Drive boost with Thunder Wave)? One would think Blissey wouldn't stand in, even assuming 100%, fearing a Critical Hit from Cross Chop. Live to fight another day, yes?

My point wasn't that Electrivire wouldn't win against Blissey 1 on 1. It's just a shaky counter and likely won't be able to get a Cross Chop on a Blissey except for prediction on the switch in, which it will easily survive if it is 252 hp/252 def bold. Most Blissey users have enough sense to switch out against Electrivire if possible, and Blissey always could have Sing over Thunder Wave. Expert Belt Electrivire does only about 90% max to the same Blissey with a max attack Cross Chop, not a guaranteed OHKO with Stealth Rocks. My point was that for a stalling threat like Blissey, Electrivire shouldn't be your only answer (just like SD Gliscor- Bad choice as a Blissey counter).

Lately I've been running Naive Explosion Azelf on all my teams. Usually takes out 2 Pokemon or completely takes out Blissey. Nobody is ever expecting the Explosion for some reason. I don't even have to worry about Blissey much anymore because Azelf kills it 90% of the time.

The trick is never to Explode right away. If they switch Blissey in I usually use Nasty Plot just to scout for Protect and it also makes the other person think you're just going to try to stat up the whole time. Then you splode.

But what if they switch in Blissey, then switch to something like Forretress right away? It takes a little over 50% damage and you've just lost your Azelf.

Why would they switch to Forretress? The only reason why that strategy works is because nobody expects the explosion. If they're not expecting an explosion, they have no reason to switch to Forretress, as Azelf usually carries Flamethrower.

I started using Wobtrio on my rain dance team to eliminate the 3 biggest problem pokemon of rain teams... Bliss, Tar, and Aboma.

I picked up a strategy similar to Alices' but just encored a t-wave while blissey dies to dugtrio. If blissey uses seismic toss.... she dies to dugtrio. if she ice beams, i just mirror coat her to death. It hasn't failed yet. Toxic... encore, safeguard... trio. You get the idea. Quick and efficient. And wobtrio also does the same purpose as tickle + pursuit, but perhaps a little faster. Hehe, I rolled over laughing after dugtrio using toxic on a curselax locked into curse, and then just watched it die...

use Driftblim when she uses Ice Beam/Thunderbolt, with Destiny Bond. She uses super effective moves, because Drfitblim prevents Seismic Toss (ghost type), and Blissey doesn't expect it, so she wont switch.
