I don't understand the Freeze Clause's validity.

For wifi, I agree that you can't really enforce freeze clause since you cannot restrict it, but just have to hope it doesn't happen. But for stuff like NB and Shoddy, Freeze clause is definately helpful.

Is it possible to have auto-enforced Freeze clause (like the one on Shoddy / Netbattle, where you simply cannot Freeze again) in any version of the game, including PBR?

If not, then Freeze clause shouldn't exist, but I was under the impression that there is.

PBR has a freeze clause you can enable, yes.

Yes, PBR allows you to set up Sleep Clause, Freeze Clause, Item Clause, Species Clause, etc., but only for local or Friend Code battles. Random Wi-Fi matches just have no clauses enabled.

There is no way to control it on WiFi, unless their is a ban on using Ice Beam after you've frozen something... BS on WiFi, completely controllable on a simulator.
