I got 2 interviews at Victoria's Secret Wednesday

I know a couple of guys who work there and they say its awesome. Needing a 2nd job, I applied at 2 stores:

Grapevine Mills
Southlake Town Square

and have an interview for both of them on Wednesday. I am kind of nervous, but I want this job. It sounds amazing. I know some people who would gladly take a $20 pay cut per hour to work there for minimum wage.

What should I expect from working there?
 
there are probably many beautiful women who frequent the store everyday so that is a definite plus. although, there are also a ton of ugly girls who think that they should be wearing victoria's secret too....

exactly, thats what the 2 guys who i know that work at other stores told me, for every good looking girl you get a bad looking one.
 
Well if I worked there, my main duties would be to supervise the changing rooms, whether the boss liked it or not. There's too many people stealing from changing rooms these days and I'll make damn sure it doesn't happen in Victoria's Secret!

eh...that isn't worth it. i doubt you'd have a chance to go out with any of the hot ones. and you wouldn't want to go out with any of the ugly ones. you're telling me the pay cut is worth it to just LOOK at the hot ones? please.

I don't see your logic in this job. I think you would have an easier time scoring chicks with a regular job with the $20+ an hour and having more money to spend on them. Then to work at a shitty paying job just to see alot of girls plenty of which are going to be ugly.
 
I doubt he's taking a $20 pay cut per hour to work there, I think he was just just saying that he knows some guys who would really want to work there.

it's not like you're actually going to SEE them in the lingerie anyway.
 
It's just a 2nd job for me.

I work as a Valet Driver at a 5 star hotel, and we have so many people who decided to come back to work for the summer coming home from college that we are overstaffed and I get 1 day a week.

When I worked 5 days a week at the Hotel I could easily make $600 a week. Now I am lucky to crack $150. I need hours, so thats why I did this.

I know a couple guys who work there, I asked them if it was worth it and they said yes. I didn't know where to look for a 2nd job, and they said this place was great. I will have to see for myself. But its not like I am quitting my main job just to work here.

i used to live in southlake (in stones lake to be exact, the neighborhood by the senior high)

i could be the retarded one here, but im pretty sure he is saying he is taking a $20/hour CUT in his usual salary to work at Victoria's Secret, aka minimum wage (6-7ish/hour depending on state). Who the hell would make 20 dollars an hour working at VS? lol.
 
It's not worth it. All you're gonna do is look at a hot girl and give her her change back. Not like you're getting laid on the counter. Get a job where you make money, finding girls can't be that hard lol.

Exactly. Girls don't go to VS to get picked up, they go there to fucking shop. It's the same way men are too stupid to realize that hitting on women at the gym is futile and stupid 99% of the time because women go there to EXERCISE, not get hit on.

Unless your main goal here is to stare at girls and be generally creepy, then I'd say go for it.
 
For what it's worth, I once read a thread at somethingawful about a guy working at victoria's secret. His reviews of the experience seemed generally positive, and he actually said he got a couple blowjobs on the job throughout his stay there.
 
Well, I got interviewed and its likely I am going to be hired to work Cashier/Floor. Floor being a sales assistant. The lady who interviewed me said that many guys work at VS... though none do at Grapevine since its brand new, and 1 person does at Southlake. Not sure which store I'll work at though.

I am not a pervert or creep at all. I have a huge sense of morals and I am a pretty heavy Christian, so I know whats appropriate and whats not. I am not looking for this job to be something to check out women or try to get hooked up. I want it to be a job that I make money at and enjoy. The 2 guys I know who work at other stores say its a lot of fun. Besides, I was talking to some of the girls who worked there before my interview when I was waiting and they thought it would be fun for a guy to work there with them.
 
^ I don't know how sincere you are being or if you are trying to fool anyone, but it is perfectly ok to work at a victoria's secret even if only to check out hot girls. I mean, if you want to "make money" as you said you can probably find a host of jobs that pay much better than the minimum wages you would be making. Don't take Mullet too seriously in that you aren't a "creep" for working at VS solely based on the fact that you work there. Now, if you actually are a creep, then that is a different story, but still.

I don't even understand the gym comment. It's perfectly ok to talk to women at a gym, and I'm not sure why anyone would think different. Now, starting up a friendly conversation is different from blatantly hitting on a girl and dropping suggestive lines, but still, pretty much anywhere you go is an ok place to talk to girls, and I'm not sure why you'd think there are specific places where it is ok and not ok.

Edit - and furthermore, the only place I could think of where it is "ok"(and still, not a good strategy) to blatantly hit on girls would be in a social situation where both parties are intoxicated.
