Pokemon Being Impersonated: Blaziken
Impersonator: Honchkrow
Types:

Stats: 105 / 131 / 54 / 111 / 54 / 75 [BST: 530]
105/171/64/131/64/85 [BST: 630]
Abilites: Blaze/Speed Boost (Mega: Speed Boost)
Move Changes: None
Overview: This pokemon can be a mixed or special sweeper with speed boost. A pure physical sweeper set can work but it have to rely on blaze kick and night slash as stab attacks and sucker punch is a plus. The biggest weakness is that it have paper thin defense.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Swampert
Impersonator: Volcanion
Types:

71/139/127/125/100/73 [BST: 635]
Abilites: Torrent/Damp (Mega: Swift Swim)
Move Changes: None
Overview: A pokemon that have pretty good stats all across the board with the exception of its speed. It also have a pretty decent movepool that allow it run a few options. When it mega evolve, Volcanion get a nice boost to its attack stat that will allow to go mix if it wanted to.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Sceptile
Impersonator: Ferrothorn
Types:
(
in Mega)
Stats: 80 / 101 / 142 / 58 / 125 / 21 [BST: 530]
Stats (Mega): 80 / 126 / 152 / 98 / 125 / 46 [BST: 627]
Abilites: Overgrow, Unburden (Lightning Rod in Mega)
Move Changes: N/A
Overview: Ferrotile is a great impersonation combo due to its heavy resists and its ability to activate tons of moves that can kill the target easily. However Blaziken-Mega can take care of this impersonation combo due to having a weakness with it.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Blaziken
Impersonator: Ambipom
Types:

Stats: 83 / 110 / 73 / 65 / 73 / 126 [BST: 530]
Stats (Mega): 83 / 150 / 83 / 85 / 83 / 146 [BST: 630]
Abilites: N/A
Move Changes: blaze kicks type will now be Normal. because of this, the name is changed to Hitting Kick.
Overview: it has decent speed and great attack, making this impersonation more likely to be on the physical side than the special side. ah well.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Swampert
Impersonator: Drednaw
Types:
(
in mega)
Stats: 99 / 127 / 99 / 53 / 75 / 82 [BST: 535]
Stats (Mega) : 99 / 167 / 119 / 63 / 95 / 92 [BST: 635]
Abilites: Damp is a good abilitiy in general. I have nothing else to say.
Move Changes: Muddy Water is now a physical move. Renamed to Water Slap.
Overview: Like Blaziken-Ambipom, this combo has a great physical attack and a bit bad Special Attack, which makes it more of a Physical Attacker than Special Attacker. This allows it to run Physical moves more greatly when it Mega Evolves.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Gardevoir
Impersonator: Gothitelle
Types:

Stats: 74 / 58 / 101 / 101 / 116 / 68 [BST: 518]
Stats (MEGA): 74 / 78 / 101 / 141 / 136 / 88 [BST: 618]
Abilites: N/A
Move Changes: N/A
Overview: Alright, a Special Attacker. Since this combo has access to Calm Mind and a few special Fairy moves, this devastates Dragon types with BIG OL' FAIRY STAB. This combo also runs important stuff in the Meta.

Salazzle as Sceptile (Salazzle-Sceptile)
Types:
/
(
/
when Mega Evolved)
Stats: 75 / 70 / 66 / 123 / 66 / 130 [BST: 530]
Mega Stats: 75 / 95 / 76 / 163 / 66 / 150 [BST: 630]
Abilites: Overgrow | Unburden (Lightning Rod when Mega Evolved)
Move Changes: Leaf Blade - Now a Special move.
Overview: Salazzle really means business this time, with an impressive Speed of 130 and a strong 123 base Special Attack. Unburden seems situational at first, but it can turn Salazzle into a true speed demon with either a Focus Sash or a Terrain Seed (preferably Grassy Seed). Mega Salazzle-Sceptile will changes it's weaknesses and resistances enough that it will caught the opponent by surprise, but is fairly slower than Unburden-boosted Salazzle-Sceptile and gains a 4x weakness to Ice... and compensates with an even beefier Special Attack (and will hurt harder when set up with Nasty Plot)!

:grimmsnarl: > :blaziken: + :blaziken-mega:
Grimmsnarl as Blaziken (Grimmsnarl-Blaziken)
Types:
/

Stats: 99 / 125 / 67 / 98 / 79 / 62 [BST: 530]
Mega Stats: 99 / 165 / 77 / 118 / 89 / 82 [BST: 630]
Abilites: Blaze | Speed Boost
Move Changes: Blaze Kick - None.
Overview: One thing; Mega Evolve. Grimmsnarl-Blaziken is someone not to scoff at with middling Speed that becomes faster as time went by, and with powerful Attack to back it up as well. Spirit Break will make it more difficult for Special Attackers to OHKO it unless it's Super Effective, while Bulk Up can be used to both boost it's powerful Attack and patch up it's weaker Defense. One problem; it have a lot of weaknesses, particularly to Stealth Rocks, and is prone to being Revenge Killed by Aqua Jet, Mach Punch or bulky Pokémon managing to survive a hit.

:armaldo: > :swampert: + :swampert-mega:
Armaldo as Swampert (Armaldo-Swampert)
Types:
/

Stats: 81 / 135 / 108 / 75 / 87 / 49 [BST: 535]
Mega Stats: 81 / 175 / 128 / 85 / 107 / 59 [BST: 635]
Abilites: Torrent | Damp (Swift Swim if Mega Evolved)
Move Changes: Muddy Water - None.
Overview: Swords Dance set-up wallbreaker, with Aqua Jet as priority for revenge killing or take down faster (or at least damage) threats that isn't resistant to Water. Although weakness to Stealth Rock hurts, it can still serve as a Rapid Spinner to patch up it's slower Speed bit by bit. It's Mega Evolution should only be used in a rain team as Armaldo-Swampert's Speed didn't increased all that much, but it does offer better bulk and have a much more herculean base Attack.

:zoroark: > :gardevoir: + :gardevoir-mega:
Zoroark as Gardevoir (Zoroark-Gardevoir)
Types:
/

Stats: 61 / 107 / 60 / 122 / 61 / 107 [BST: 518]
Mega Stats: 61 / 127 / 60 / 162 / 81 / 127 [BST: 618]
Abilites: Synchronize / Trace | Telepathy (Pixilate when Mega Evolved)
Overview: You'd want to Mega Evolve it in order to utilize the Fairy STAB, and it comes with impressive base Speed of 127 and a powerful Special Attack of 162, which can set up with Nasty Plot for severe wallbreaking. It also comes with an usable 127 Attack to make use of Sucker Punch or to go for a surprise Physical sweeping with Swords Dance. However, it is frail and can become prone to be revenge killed as a result. It also needs it's Mega Stone to be at full potential, which means it can't hold a Focus Sash or other helpful items to avoid it's potential shortcomings.

Voting is now open! Here are the candidates for the Impersonators:

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Sceptile
Impersonator: Barbaracle
Stats: 77 / 111 / 121 / 57 / 91 / 73 (530 BST)
Mega Stats: 77 / 136 / 131 / 97 / 91 / 98 (630 BST)
Type:
/
(
/
in Mega)
Abilities: Overgrow, Unburden
Move Changes: Leaf Blade is totally unaltered
Overview: Barbaracle-Sceptile has a unique niche as a Shell Smash sweeper with Unburden and White Herb making it even more fast. Go Mega for less speed with the perk of a better type.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Sceptile
Impersonator: Noivern
Types:

Stats: 85 / 69 / 79 / 97 / 79 / 121 [BST: 530]
Stats: 85 / 94 / 89 / 137 / 79 / 146 [BST: 630]
Abilites: Overgrow / Unburden -> Lightning Rod
Move Changes: Leaf Blade is now Special and called Seed Boom.
Overview: Throat Spray + Unburden + Boomburst is a pretty good combination, even if not STAB. The Mega is a slightly weaker, slighly bulkier version of Mega Sceptile, trading Leaf Storm for Draco Meteor, Dragon Pulse for Seed Boom, losing Leech Seed and gaining Hurricane and Boomburst.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Sceptile
Impersonator: Garchomp
Type:
/

Stats: 95 / 115 / 84 / 71 / 75 / 90 (530 BST)
Stats (Mega): 95 / 140 / 94 / 111 / 75 / 115 (630 BST)
Abilities: Overgrow / Unburden (Mega Ability: Lightning Rod)
Description: Bring this under a terrain, preferably Grassy, and then sweep with Swords Dance until you eventually die from an Ice attack. The mega should only be used for mixed wallbreaking sets, as its attack and speed are lower than the base form.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Sceptile
Impersonator: Ferrothorn
Types:
(
in Mega)
Stats: 80 / 101 / 142 / 58 / 125 / 21 [BST: 530]
Stats (Mega): 80 / 126 / 152 / 98 / 125 / 46 [BST: 627]

Move Changes: N/A
Overview: Ferrotile is a great impersonation combo due to its heavy resists and its ability to activate tons of moves that can kill the target easily. However Blaziken-Mega can take care of this impersonation combo due to having a weakness with it.

Salazzle as Sceptile (Salazzle-Sceptile)
Types:

Mega Stats: 75 / 95 / 76 / 163 / 66 / 150 [BST: 630]
Abilites: Overgrow | Unburden (Lightning Rod when Mega Evolved)
Move Changes: Leaf Blade - Now a Special move.
Overview: Salazzle really means business this time, with an impressive Speed of 130 and a strong 123 base Special Attack. Unburden seems situational at first, but it can turn Salazzle into a true speed demon with either a Focus Sash or a Terrain Seed (preferably Grassy Seed). Pokemon Being Impersonated: Blaziken
Impersonator: Arctovish
Types:

Stats: 95 / 95 / 105 / 83 / 95 / 57 [BST: 530]
Mega Stats: 95 / 135 / 115 / 103 / 105 / 77 [BST: 630]
Abilites: Blaze / Speed Boost -> Speed Boost
Move Changes: Blaze Kick is unchanged
Overview: Fishious Rend off of an Attack stat 5 points higher than Dracovish's, but takes a while to get going with Speed Boost, and doesn't have Strong Jaw.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Blaziken
Impersonator: Tsareena
Type:
/

Stats: 75 / 125 / 102 / 51 / 102 / 75 (530 BST)
Stats (Mega): 75 / 165 / 112 / 71 / 112 / 95 (630 BST)
Abilities: Blaze / Speed Boost (Mega Ability: Speed Boost)
Description: A nice typing with good bulk allows it to come in pretty easily and Rapid Spin hazards. A set of Power Whip / Blaze Kick / Knock Off / Rapid Spin hits everything except Hitmonchan-Incineroar at least neutrally However, the real boon is Rapid Spin + Speed Boost, meaning you can double your speed each turn without wasting a slot on Protect. Also, don't use the mega.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Blaziken
Impersonator: Honchkrow
Types:

Stats: 105 / 131 / 54 / 111 / 54 / 75 [BST: 530]

Abilites: N/A
Move Changes: blaze kicks type will now be Normal. because of this, the name is changed to Hitting Kick.
Overview: it has decent speed and great attack, making this impersonation more likely to be on the physical side than the special side. ah well.

Overview: It sets the webb and eats hits super good as well. Mega is not the strongest but is hella tanky.
Pokemon Being Impersonated: Swampert
Impersonator: Slaking
Type: Water/Normal
Abilities: Torrent/Damp
Mega Ability: Swift Swim
Move Changes: Muddy Water becomes Muddy Slam, a physical version of the move.
Stats: 120/128/80/75/52/80 (Total: 535)
Mega Stats: 120/168/100/85/72/90 (Total: 635)
Overview: With a wide variety of coverage, recovery in Slack Off, and a strong stat spread, Slaking as Swampert is here. While its typing is worse than Swampert’s, it makes up for it with more power and a large HP pool. And the Mega in the rain can seriously dish out punishment while not worrying about much in return. Overall, a strong candidate.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Swampert
Impersonator: Grapploct
Type:
/

Stats: 89 / 132 / 100 / 78 / 89 / 47 (535 BST)
Stats (Mega): 89 / 172 / 120 / 88 / 109 / 57 (635 BST)
Abilities: Torrent / Damp (Mega Ability: Swift Swim)
Description: Sure it's slow as fuck unless you use the Mega in rain, and sure it's typing is not that great defensively, but who cares when GRAPPLOCT FINALLY GETS WATER TYPE?! All is now right with the world.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Swampert
Impersonator: Volcanion
Types:

Stats: 71 / 99 / 107 / 115 / 80 / 63 [BST: 535]

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Swampert
Impersonator: Drednaw

Abilites: Damp is a good abilitiy in general. I have nothing else to say.
Move Changes: Muddy Water is now a physical move. Renamed to Water Slap.

Armaldo as Swampert (Armaldo-Swampert)
Types:

Stats: 81 / 135 / 108 / 75 / 87 / 49 [BST: 535]
Mega Stats: 81 / 175 / 128 / 85 / 107 / 59 [BST: 635]
Abilites: Torrent | Damp (Swift Swim if Mega Evolved)

Overview: Swords Dance set-up wallbreaker, with Aqua Jet as priority for revenge killing or take down faster (or at least damage) threats that isn't resistant to Water. Although weakness to Stealth Rock hurts, it can still serve as a Rapid Spinner to patch up it's slower Speed bit by bit. It's Mega Evolution should only be used in a rain team as Armaldo-Swampert's Speed didn't increased all that much, but it does offer better bulk and have a much more herculean base Attack.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Gardevoir
Impersonator: Dragonair
Stats: 75 / 104 / 80 / 87 / 87 / 87 (518 BST)
Mega Stats: 75 / 124 / 80 / 127 / 107 / 107 (618 BST)
Type:
/

Abilities: Synchronize, Trace, Telepathy
Move Changes: n/a
Overview: ATESPEED BAYBEE HAHA YES. The trade-off to these great stats and ability is that the base form is kinda crap thanks to no natural Fairy STAB, and in general it's kinda predictable.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Gardevoir
Impersonator: Mimikyu
Typing: Ghost/Fairy
Abilities: Synchronize/Trace/Telepathy
Stats: 60/98/87/55/114/104 (Total: 518)
Mega Stats: 60/118/87/95/134/124 (Total: 618)
Overview: The image of a Mimikyu impersonating a Gardevoir was just too good for me to pass up. It’s still pretty solid, especially with its Mega form offering a strong Fairy STAB for it to abuse. It’s also pretty fast and decently bulky, enough to get off a Swords Dance, maybe two. In conclusion, please don’t look up this thing’s dress, you will literally die.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Gardevoir
Impersonator: Flygon
Type:

Stats: 80 / 100 / 79 / 80 / 79 / 100 (518 BST)
Stats (Mega): 80 / 120 / 79 / 120 / 99 / 120 (618 BST)
Abilities: Synchronize / Trace / Telepathy (Mega Ability: Pixilate)
Description: So this can either be used in two ways, either a Dragon Dance sweeper or a Boomburst spammer. Basically a faster and more powerful but less bulky Mega Altaria. Unfortunately, this absolutely needs to be mega'd because the base form gets absolutely NO fairy moves. Yung Dramps I swear I didn't copy you,

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Gardevoir
Impersonator: Gothitelle

Overview: Alright, a Special Attacker. Since this combo has access to Calm Mind and a few special Fairy moves, this devastates Dragon types with BIG OL' FAIRY STAB. This combo also runs important stuff in the Meta.

I saw this and thought it looked fun, so let's give this a go.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Marshadow
Impersonator: Ariados
Types:

Stats: 105 / 135 / 105 / 90 / 105 / 60 [BST: 600]
Abilites: Technician
Move Changes: Spectral Thief and SS7SS are unchanged, but are now named Spider Thief and Soul-Stealing Arachnophobia.
Overview: Isn't it amazing how much better Ariados gets when it has actual stats? With 105/105/105 bulk, it becomes much easier for Ariados to set Sticky Web/Toxic Spikes, and it doesn't have to run Focus Sash anymore--it can hold Black Sludge for a bit of HP recovery! 135 base Attack, Spider Thief, and Technician Shadow Sneak, on the other hand, make it dangerous to set up on, unlike before. Poison/Ghost is also a decent typing, both offensively and defensively. Granted, Technician isn't a stellar Ability for a Pokemon like this--its only good option to abuse it is Shadow Sneak--but it's still a useful Ability to have.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Shaymin
Impersonator: Rotom-Fan
Types:
/

Stats: 58 / 75 / 123 / 121 / 124 / 99 [BST: 600] (58 / 78 / 98 / 141 / 99 / 128 in Sky Form)
Abilites: Natural Cure/Serene Grace
Move Changes: Seed Flare is unchanged.
Overview: While its defenses aren't great, Rotom-Fan is an offensive powerhouse, with an excellent offensive typing and enough coverage to make a full offensive set work. For what it's worth, it also has Defog, making an offensive Defog set possible. Rotom-Fan's Sky form, on the other hand, boosts its power and speed, gives it STAB on Air Slash, and turns Seed Flare into an effective coverage move. In addition, Rotom-Sky's access to Discharge makes an ungodly paraflinch set possible with Serene Grace. However, this comes with the drawbacks of lowering Rotom's defenses and giving it a weakness to Stealth Rock.

More to come later.

Here are the results! (Me and Dramps were tied for Jirachi, but I didn't vote so I broke the tie in my favor, only because I think Jirachi's sig move will see more use with my sub, and it is pretty much the only unique thing about Jirachi) (sorry Dramps).

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Weezing
Impersonator: Goomy
Types:
/

Stats: 74 / 82 / 57 / 90 / 122 / 65 [BST: 490]
Abilities: Levitate/Neutralizing Gas/Stench (Misty Surge replaces Stench in Galarian Form)
Move Changes: Strange Steam is unchanged.
Overview: As Dragalge has shown in the past, Poison/Dragon is an excellent defensive typing, especially when Levitate is added into the mix. What this has over Dragalge, though, is marginally better Speed and Levitate, granting it even more opportunities to switch in. Although Goomy's move-pool is fairly weak, Toxic is as good as ever, Acid Armor can help patch up its poor Defense, and Infestation is a potentially more gimmicky option that can trap opponents who can't hurt you. Thanks to Goomy's newfound good Special Attack, it can even run an offensive set! Draco Meteor hits very hard off of, say, a Choice Specs set, and Sludge Bomb and Hidden Power help its issues with hitting Fairies and Steel-types. Sets like this also benefit from Levitate giving it free switch-in opportunities. As for its Galarian form, Poison/Fairy is also an excellent defensive typing, giving up its FWG core resistance for an immunity to Dragon-type moves, which would otherwise hit it super-effectively. Strange Steam gives it a reliable secondary STAB move, at the cost of being worse against Poison-types.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Dugtrio
Impersonator: Sableye
Types:
/

Stats: 56 / 84 / 84 / 73 / 73 / 55 [BST: 425] (56 / 84 / 94 / 73 / 73 / 45 in Alolan form)
Abilities: Sand Veil/Arena Trap/Sand Force (Tangling Hair replaces Arena Trap in Alolan form)
Move Changes: Fissure is now a Ghost-type move, named Soul Crush.
Overview: Quite different from how Dugtrio utilized its trapping Ability, Sableye here uses it much in the way Wobbuffet does, but with less overall bulk, a better typing, and about five times the viable moves that Wobbuffet ever had. It's also got a few strictly unviable/purely-for-laughs sets, like the combination of Gravity and Soul Crush. Ground is mostly there for a bit of defensive utility, giving it a better matchup against Electric- and Rock-types. Most commonly, I'd imagine it using something like Status + Hex, or maybe a boosting set with sufficient support. Its Alolan form has similar roles, but with a better defensive typing and Tangling Hair over Arena Trap. Gyro Ball is a new option, if you don't mind most of the metagame being about as fast as you. It also appreciates its Alolan form's higher Defense to complement its new Steel typing.

Pokemon Being Impersonated: Golem
Impersonator: Regigigas
Types:
/

Stats: 82 / 118 / 81 / 59 / 81 / 74 [BST: 495]
Abilities: Rock Head/Sturdy/Sand Veil (Magnet Pull replaces Rock Head and Galvanize replaces Sand Veil in Alolan form)
Move Changes: N/A
Overview: Finally, a way to make Regigigas viable! Of course, its stats had to be cut down to do it, but it's a worthy sacrifice. Because it doesn't get much out of either Rock Head or Sand Veil, Sturdy is the Ability of choice in its default form. Sturdy allows it a guaranteed Rock Polish, which lets it outspeed the entire metagame. Apart from that, Regigigas has some surprisingly good offensive options, which never saw use because of Slow Start. Naturally it has Earthquake and Return, but it also has the elemental punches, Stone Edge, Knock Off, Drain Punch, the list goes on. With these, it can muscle past Pokemon that would otherwise win against it. Its Alolan form does much the same thing, but has two new, much more useful Abilities to work with: Magnet Pull and Galvanize. Magnet Pull lets it trap the numerous Steel-types of the metagame and eliminate them with Earthquake, letting teammates who would normally be walled to hell and back by Steel-types run through the opponent much more easily. Unfortunately, its only real option for an Electric STAB move is Thunder Punch...which is where Galvanize comes in! With it, Return becomes a 122 BP Electric move, and Earthquake provides it with great neutral coverage. The only type that resists both is Grass, but most Grass-types in this meta have a secondary typing that renders them neutral to one or the other.

More to come later. Also, shouldn't Alolan Dugtrio grant a secondary Steel typing? If it's because Alolan Diglett has it, too, then disregard this. edit: it's been fixed, cool
