Seems like it would work. Based on the Q&A on that page, it seems like a good sign when it says that you can set up a WEP network with it. Also, according to the virutal router plus' page of supported devices (http://virtualrouter.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Supported Devices), that one seems to be on there but in the table there is a "a" in the name that isn't on the Amazon page (could just be a typo though).
In general, you want it to say yes next to hosted network supported when you type "netsh wlan show drivers" into the CMD. I've read online that if there is a Win 7 logo on the box, it supports hosted networks (so it should say yes for that dongle). If it says no, then I don't think you are going to get instacheck to work.
But to answer your question, it seems like that one would work, but I cannot say for certain as I have not tried it myself.
Edit: Seems like the Uan and the Un might be different devices. So now I'm not as sure. I have the NetGear N-300 USB adapter (WNA 3100) and that works.
Edit 2: Sorry, kinda distracted. I'd say that if the dongle is on that virtual router page I sent you, it stands a pretty good chance of working.

i dont have instacheck...i have a mac so i cant download it. people helped me earlier i was just wondering if someone could let me know. do you have Instacheck?
Yes I do.
Instacheck lets you check both yours and your trade partner's values, but I can't do it without your Friend Code and In Game Name.
