ok, just to make sure, Encore is NOT supposed to give the Pokemon hit with it a speed boost, correct? A few turns into my last battle, I Encored 'Top into Close Combat, thinking my Charizard would be able to kill it (and his near-dead Salamence) after the CC drop. However, for some reason, it outsped. It wasn't scarfed, as it used Fake Out on turn 1, went before my 'Zard the turn prior, then killed.
Sure they didn't use Tailwind or something like that?

Just played Matty85 and lost 3-0. GG!

(33 wins, 1 loss, and 13 disconnects now- 1778)

Up to 8-0 with no intentional DCs so far.

Kudos to 5teven from California for using Run when the battle was clearly won by me.

Doesn't that mean it's faster somehow? This is pretty confusing, but because of that I'd be inclined to think that it's not Encore causing problems.

Assume it cced previous turn, mach punched that turn, priority is determined same turn, encore turned it into cc, which retained mach punchs priority

Though if it went before zard using a nonpriority move without encores inteference its... just faster

Typo on my end, I caught it. Taking a break for a bit, will probably resume when I cool down. A Top/Mence/Rotom-H/T-Tar team shouldn't have won.

Someone used a Blissey without Minimize hax, AND they didn't DC when I won? Perhaps there's hope for humanity after all.

Well, so much for throwing together a half-decent on paper looking team and hoping it works. This team is far too inconsistent and just can't win. I'll be lucky to break 1900 and if I do, I'll stay there.

Oh well, always the autumn friendly tournament to look forward to.

GFunown from New York gave me probably the most intense game of the tournament so far. Saved that video along with my loss to the Japanese player.

I stop playing for a few hours and now so many people are in the 1800s. Time for me to make up some lost ground. (or get blocked again at the 1800 barrier)

We've all done that. It's when they keep doing it that you can make fun of them.

At the beginning of the match? lol.

Time for me to go back on, since it was my own stupidity that caused me to lose so badly. Certainly won't be doing THAT again. Thanks TTS.

4 wins, 1 loss and like 3 DC(I don't really count that).
It'll take while to catch up to all you guys who have more than me on the first day than I got in the entire first competition.

1711 with a 22-1 win/loss, i think i deserve a little break :D
idk if i'll ever be able to catch up to aaron at the rate he's going though -__- <3

Finally broke 1600! I guess the Random Number God has finally forgiven me for whatever I did to anger it, because I'm 7-0 (8-0 if you count the DC) so far today.
