How are we confirming dio btw? Since it seems we need a full role pm checker to clear dio
dio is a named role in the game, if someone claims him unopposed we can safely assume they are dio. it would be nothing short of idiotic for the real dio to let someone claim dio and not counterclaim. do not give your full role out yet, but let's not get in the way of progress - we don't need to inspect dio to clean him if nobody else claims it. if someone else does then all it takes is an inspection or smtn and the person who lied is fucked, mafia probs won't take that risk.
it is also fairly believable that vf is dio, as i'm pretty sure rodasek would give dio to an experienced player
Okay first things first, this dio claim is fishy as hell. I don't believe "no cc is proof enough", because if this is scum claiming dio and then real dio claims, the Mafia will know who the real dio is. It could easily be bait, and even worse lynching between a dio cc is 50/50 between killing ONE scum, or losing the entire game. And even if we do lynch right in that situation, the scenario below can still play out. Not worth it at all.
And even if von IS cleared as dio, we're still in a dangerous position, because this means DIO IS OUT! Mafia factions usually have Hookers. The moment they find Bodyguard (assuming there even is one, most likely is), and either hook and/or kill them, we lose.
I'm holding off on claiming until someone is really cleared. This isn't a Meta clear because this still could be scum baiting dio out. Be more careful guys.

for this reason it is imperative we find the real dio ASAP so there is no chance of the mislynch. if the mafia knows who is, who cares, if they have the day time majority to lynch him then they have already won the game anyway - this is a 1v1
if the real dio is hiding, i implore them to come forward. otherwise, vf is probably the best bet right now. if two dios come forward, any town inspector with a shred of mental capacity will be inspecting one of them and we will know who is lying by the next day. it's a loaded play, i doubt the mafia will be willing to just outright lose a player in a game of numbers like this. if the real dio isn't von and doesn't come forward, that will cost us the game.

I would have been against DIO claiming but now that von has it is absolutely worth it for DIO counterclaimers to come forward (if not publicly then to me privately because if Von is mafia I'm certainly not also mafia trying to step up before him lol)
I don't think the mafia has Von of all the people they could have chosen step up to falseclaim DIO into a SURE counterclaim and it is far more likely that he's telling the truth. It is prudent to wait for people to CC (and they should) but we should take advantage of the confirmed town that exists and give the outed DIO the best possible opportunity to gain info about the game and protect himself.

Rushing to where the sound came from, you all are met by a grisly sight. A body lies before you, charred beyone recognition. A quick headcount amongst you quickly leads you to the conclucsion that this body must belong to Haruno . Due to the state the body is in, you have no hope of realising what their stand power could of been.....
Leaving the grisly scene, you go forth to try locate the crusaders.
It is now Day 2. Deadline is in 48 hours. Willing to extend if this is awkward time for americans.
Results of actions now going out.
