Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Attempting a manga style and trying to improve my colours/shading, both were quite fun
Jujutsu Kaisen DTIYS, I promise I'm not addicted... (Don't listen to him, he 100% is) the characters from it are just by far my favourite in design from any anime
Inktober: Fairy prompt, very excited for Inktober to up my line art skills
And finally a spooky character which I'll probably spoiler tag :^)
New oc I'm working on, finally found out how some tools worked and am having a lot of fun with shading. Popped on 1 minute glasses because I had no ideas :^), recoloured version below:
Another one of the same character Yes I need to start making proper backgrounds, tho the shading was once again quite fun
Inktober pieces for Witch and Moon:
Much more satisfied with the moon piece, (Jujutsu Kaisen again, I need to be stopped)
Bruh, just gotta say, seeing you improve so quickly is genuinely so exciting. From the variance in line thickness to attention in anatomy, it's super cool to watch! Here's to seeing more fantastic pieces from you! Keep up the good work!
Compressed this like 62000 times. And I quote:
"SNE
K"
Really quick DemonSlayer Sanemi piece, was quite happy with how it came out, and another thing with my oc. Both Inktober pieces, Wind and orb respectively.
Other than this I am currently working on a wip~ and have another DTIYS prepared for the next post from the Arts & Cr- Culture DTIYS event.
Piece 1) Improved version of an oc I made in an earlier post. I'm honestly very happy with how she turned out, especially the eyes. Part of the shading is missing in this image though, forgot to save the finished version. Typical me having bad memory!!
Piece 2) A friend's oc for an art trade. Gave them a hammer (Paper Mario inspired), felt they could fall under that
Gojo eye Gojo eye. Eye had no ideas so Gojo eye
Finally, I have also been working on another oc which I'm absolutely addicted to drawing. One of my favourite designs so far, simple but also just what I was aiming for
First one is a design I'm trying to come up with based on light and frequencies. Very happy with the bg/monster if anything. Second one was just a completely random piece I made which was meant to have one oc, but I ended up making 2 new ones and developing another one because my art is constantly random! Third was an art trade
JJK art... (Part 5000):
Gojo and Inumaki based on their designs in the upcoming JJK movie. Seeing the animation made me want to draw
Best part of this artwork is probably the 'help' :^)
Found a really cool time lapse feature on CSP! May share some stuff in the future. For now, got quite a few pieces c:
More JJK fan art to begin with. Absolutely HYPED for the movie (I read the manga and the animation especially on Panda is just so hype)
Really satisfying to have finally settled on a character design for an oc, by far my favourite I've ever made
Further continuation of some of the pieces above, (An art trade), DTIYS of a friend's OC
Additionally, going to begin working on a project to develop more original characters quickly, will gladly take any thoughts or recommendations
I usually have big posts but this post is going to be a big big post:
OCs I've already drawn before. Been working on backgrounds, line art, shading, anatomy, perspective and everything I can possibly think of
Here is a new(er) oc I recently developed. Ghost ghost thing thing, 4 sleeves for a weird combo idea I'm making in which they can fake out an opponent by randomly switching in sleeves and releasing ghosts from other ones. I also tried pixel art and in all honesty it's easier than I thought it was, quite fun too
Two character profiles, going to be making tons of these so I can actually stay consistent when drawing my ocs (Totally don't have 65000 variants of the same oc that isn't me)
hlelo
Had exams this week so I just experimented a ton with my style instead of making larger things
Trying out paint for colouring over cell shading: First one's colouring was referenced from TBHK and the second from Demon Slayer fan art references, I also had an attempt a more realistic artwork but my tablet stopped working so it got left as a WIP
Background stuff, will potentially add a character over this since I don't like how the first attempt at it went.
More Oc art, robot obv best character I've ever made. I try to say this jokingly but it isn't even a joke anymore :^)
Lastly, the BDSP CAP Hub banner artwork, been a while since I've drawn anything Pokemon-related so I'm quite happy with the turnout c:
Working on colouring and new ocs, finished the first one and then realised how similar they look to Nobara D:
Smol comic page to help characterise one of my several billion random characters, going to be doing a whole lot more of these for tons of random characters and ocs to improve lineart as well. Also did an art trade with someone, redrew their oc on the right
Banners~ 1v1 Global Cup banner for DEG! Be sure to check out the opening thread when it comes out
UU Community Create-A-Team!! Check out this thread UU Community Create-A-Team if you're interested
Quick artwork of half of my ocs, I have a couple more but had no idea how to fit them in without ruining the artwork. V happy with how the three closest to the right side came out
Colouring and anatomy practices, first is inspired by demon slayer and second according to nothing in particular
More practices, first being to practice clothing and second for lineless art. I've never done lineless art for an actual character, so I'm glad with how it turned out
Finally, an extremely accurate depiction of two Arts&Crafts staff members, focussing on the leader of all catgirls and conquerer of Earth, Bidoof Princess!!! Oh and Violet
Wasn't sure what to draw so I decided to work on lineless art, glad with how the frog in the back came out (Mostly)
made 2 really quick oc sketches instead. One for a friend and another just for fun. Also made another oc for a SMP I'm playing on
Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece. I was told that his arms don't work like this after I finished
Biggest thanks to Kaiju Bunny for being the first step into my improved understanding of digital art, and everyone else along the way. This was my first year of actually getting into art and I don't think I'll be stopping any time soon
Happy new year!
Posting early because I made some stuff I'm quite happy with
Trying out more lineless art, mainly because I enjoy using paints way more, two new ocs with not much background outside of just experimentation. Been enjoying this a lot already and will probs be doing more of it
Lineart and colour experiment. Mainly proud of the skin and hands thanks to the selection layer tool, although a recent discovery from my side (Cause I'm slow :))
