besides the fact that your opinion that only one set for Latios and Latias should be used limits them conveniently in the face of the few counters they have, it's not metagross that would be overcentralizing the metagame, it would be lati@s. i'm pretty sure the "smart players" you're referring to may also realize that lati@s don't need to faint themselves to defeat Blissey regularly like Azelf does, or any of the other supposed counters whose proficiency stopping lati@s needs to be tested

and in that same post i said that i purposely haven't stated my position, and chaos doesn't even post here, what are you talking about? for your information i've started a thread in our Inside Scoop forum where we are discussing which and how many "suspects" (Ho-oh, Latios, Latias, Deoxys-S, Wobbuffet) we should test and over what time period. don't make uninformed assumptions about our administration and post them
 
Regirock gets owned by Grass Knot, Registeel and Metagross by HP Fire.
They are too powerful.

However I think Wobbuffet in OU can be pretty cool! =D
 
lol,I got jump'd xD thanks jumpman! Sorry about that :(. And at sanjay HP:FIRE people only apply's to competitor,I was talking about wi-fi where,you have to reset for good IVs+Nature. getting a good HP on something like Latias/Latios is all but impossible,but I suppose with Shoddy/Competitoe that's a moot point,and you're pretty much correct
 
Also @PR3DAT,Wobuffet in OU would be a downright terror being next to impossible to OHKo,and Countering/Mirror coating,everything.its already deadly in Ubers,what makes you think it'll be,"cool" in OU?
 
It's almost impossible to get a good IV Suicune, but that doesn't make it UU. It's not relevant that HP Fire is hard to get. It can get it.

Encore the Toxic, switch to Heracross anyone? Nobody sets up anything against Wobba.

Unless of course you mean Toxic Spikes, in which case people would simply use a Poison type/Spinner (after they switch to Heracross).

You lost all credibility at this point. One of the reasons they're banned is because their movepool is so diverse. If they were limited to two, predictable sets, then they surely wouldn't be uber.
 
The point is if you limit a Pokemon enough it could go down however many tiers you want it to.

Though even without Soul Dew, they're too strong.
 
Not arguing for or against, just saying that I would love to use Latias with Wish on my teams. I don't like most of the Wish users, and my teams rarely have room for Vaporeon.

Here's my question. What do people expect Choice Spec'd Latios and Latias to carry? I keep seeing HP Fire mentioned, but I haven't seen that in the proposed sets. Would Draco Meteor and Dragon Pulse remain on the same set, like how it is on Salamence? And what about Thunderbolt and Ice Beam? Shadow Ball and Psychic? I think that if one adds HP Fire, they lose an attack that would leave it vulnerable to another counter.

This Latios set loses to Wonder Guard Shedinja. The only Pokémon immune to Dragon attacks.
 
They both have great typing, a way around not just Earthquake but every ground type move, take neutral damage from Stealth Rock unlike Salamence and Dragonite, and they're don't die from one ice type attack unlike Garchomp and friends.

Yeah, even without Soul Dew, they both have access to Calm Mind, which is like Soul Dew except with setting up and more vunerability to Whirlwind and Roar. (Yes, that means I disagree)
 
Hint,hint Shedinja fails at life and I realized that Iwas wrong and that the Latis really overcentralize the metagame if they force you to use something as nubby as Shedinja :(
