Latias Voting

Well, I must have done the calculation wrong because I thought there'd be no way I'd be on the voting list. Due to time zone differences I won't be able to submit my paragraph until tomorrow afternoon, which I guess is mid morning for you. If there's a problem with that, reply quickly and I'll write it now.

Is that the finalised voting list? Because if it isn't I sent my paragraph already because I was under the assumption it was the final list. I apologise to Aelous and Jumpman16 if I've sent my paragraph too early.

By when and until when we can submit our paragraphs?

edit: also, do we have to express our vote in the paragraph?

aeo and i are going to discuss that and then post what we want from you guys later

Eh, how come I'm not on the list? (I clearly qualified the day before.) I'm banned from logging in on the Shoddy Battle server too. What did I do? ._.

I think it has something to do with the fact that you battled yourself 141 times on the suspect ladder and gave yourself free wins in every single one of them.

The technical term for that is -- "Cheating".

Your rating is now a negative number, which is slightly below the required minimum posted in the OP.

I'm not surprised that there will only be 24 people voting (possibly more via special application) because there were times I was on find for about an hour before I would get a match.

We only had 32 voters for Deoxys-E and that was pretty one-sided (I expect this one to be as well). I also also think some people stayed away from doing the test because the voting requirements are a little stricter.

Now if there was only some incentive...

The voting requirements were no stricter in this suspect test as they were in any other. The deviation is higher than it was when suspects were first being tested. The only difference is the paragraph the lower tier voters have to write. I'm sure that isn't going to stop many people from voting.

There does need to be some sort of incentive for playing on suspect - more than just trying it out for fun in the first week(s) of testing and then going back to standard.

yeah, cant stress that enough, if "only" 24 people care enough to do whatever it takes to have a say in competitive pokemon when the main reason we're giving the community a chance to have a say in the first place is because of some idea of "fairness", i'm not sure i want to attempt further incenting the community.

and i say "only" loosely because there's been no indication that quantity is better than quality with regard to the suspect test thus far anyway

personally i'm of the option that new UU is taking attention away from the test

Well, considering Deoxys-s has 32 people in the voter pool and there was substantially more interest in the Deoxys-s test than the Latias test for various reasons I don't really see the UU test playing a large role at all.

If we need to confirm alts in this thread, I'm both Twist of Fate. and F.B.I., obviously using the latter's voting permission.

I am me.
Time to get started on a rough draft of my paragraph.

Lol at Ipl whose deviation was

| IMPERFECTLUCK. | 1,925.89 | 56.41 |

So close to upper tier voting.
