boulicrok vs frisoeva - idrk who frisoeva is but boulicrok is decent, I think with teambuild tweaks from Levi he takes this match

Jytcampbell vs EviGaro - a tougher matchup than it seems, Jytcampbell is a solid player who runs cool innovations. This matchup is like a giant iron fortress vs a creative wizard, and I think the fortress wins

Sken vs Welli0u - I'm unsure why sken is slept on in the PR, I think he'll come back as a force in SM, and is certainly a higher skill level than Welli0u

Heysup - a cool match, I think Heysup takes it with his builds while rozes will probably rely on Levi guidance

fran17 - I think fran will win this one in a missyless environment

HSOWA vs Alkione - both decent players, this one could go either way but i'm giving the edge to HSOWA

Xiri vs The Amuse - I don't really think that the amuse is all that great but I look forward to being proved wrong. Xiri is the better player
SM: FLCL vs
Luthier - This is a fun matchup too, I think Luthier takes it. Luthier has less skill than FLCL overall but far more meta knowledge and familiarity with the tier, and I think his solidarity with SM will prevail over fooly's general set of skills. This is surely going to be a fun match to watch
XY:
ict vs Corckscrew - I have no clue who corckscrew is, ict will at least be able to build his own teams and has historically dominated
BW:
Void vs trash - a little unsure why they'd put trash in BW when they have Serene, maybe it's to punish him? Regardless I think while trash is a good player, so is Void. I think void is just a better overall player as well and has a lot of displayed skill in BW, he also has Finch and Star to help back him up
DPP: obii vs
Nails - Nails has far more familiarity with the tier and I think this will prevail. It is, after all, one of his home tiers

iss - This will be a good match to watch. If iss is anything like he was when he was active or plays like he did in Winter ssnl then I think he takes this. I think it will be close but I'm rooting for iss

Zorodark - Zorodark should take this one, unsure why ifm isn't playing dpp anymore but I don't necessarily know his skill in SS at all. Gut feeling feels like they are throwing a reknowned tour goon into a slot and calling it a day ala the Starmaster method

Eternal Spirit - Gama is better imo. I don't have an accurate read on HT's skill level though

Ninjadog vs Wabane - Ninjadog is a more solid player and will win this one handily I think
XY:
GOAO vs Mikaav - Despite GOAO putting me in last on his player rankings I hold no grudge, I think he will prevail in XY despite that. Mikaav is unfortunately inexperienced in the tier compared to GOAO
BW:
tko vs Joltage - I don't think joltage will be all that good at BW. Lowkey I very much wish iss was in this slot so when we fight the panchams I could ask to fight him. Regardless, tko is the better player skill wise, better knowledge, but probably less motivated. I still think tko will take this handily
DPP: Haru vs
Tonyflygon - Unsure who Haru is. Tony is a solid DPP slot however. I imagine he takes this easily

- A struggle of titans equal in skill. I think that this battle will be one for newer players to the tier to watch as they will learn a lot. This battle will set the tone of LCPL going forward I think. If it is haxy then LCPL will be shit for the vast majority of players, but granted a good fair match then we will see some real struggles and quality matches. I cannot see this going to either side and give it a

madoka vs iss
- This match is one that I personally am excited to see. To me, iss was one of the reasons I even started playing LC in the first place, along with zf and wobbyble. It might sound silly but there is a fanboy inside of me that is rooting iss on. However, madoka in their skill level is matching iss, and I think that this will also be a quality match to watch. I give the odds to iss, with a favor of

Void vs trash
- Void has always impressed me in BW and though he doesn't talk much his matches are always exciting to watch. They display a clear maneuver of skill in BW and I'm interested to see how they do in a Misdreavus-less metagame. trash is a good player in his own right though I think he picked up BW to mock the playerbase in some way. I don't forsee him putting too much effort into his games just based on the attitude I've witnessed the past couple years. Regardless I think that this is a skillful matchup and both players bring a high level of skill and decent meta knowledge. Because I think Void is just more solidly built and will be motivated more I give this a favor of

Star vs Serene Grace
- This is a highlight SS LC match. Star is always a phenomenal performer and Serene has really impressed me over the past two generations. He is gaining even ground and reminds me of a mirror player image of Starmaster. I especially found it interesting how Serene went from a player who relied on a couple of gimmicks (like Aurora Veils, Me First Mienfoo), to becoming an outstanding player in his own right. This could go either way, so I'm going to give this one a
45/55 as I think Serene will have the slight edge, not enough for me to make a call though.
rozes vs Heysup
- While I think Heysup will win this one, I think this is a highlight match because rozes is solid enough to put Heysup to the test. It will be a great battle for people to watch to gain knowledge of XY. It'll certainly be interesting to see Heysup's build that he brings, but this is balanced out by his opponent being a solid enough player backed by Levi, who will probably know the general direction of Heysup builds. For creativity points without being a stomp in either direction this is one of the highlight XY matches for me. I give this battle a
35/65 in Heysup's favor.
Jytcampbell vs EviGaro
- Jytcampbell has impressed me since he fucked me up with Iron Defense Nasty Plot Vullaby and Jangmo'o, I simply cannot count him out. From the battles I've seen his playstyle is more defensively oriented, designed to whittle the opponent down until solidly securing the win. EviGaro on the other hand is much more free with his build styles, incorporating creative uses of Pokemon to puncture holes in the player's build. I think this will be a fun one to watch as both players are motivated to win and motivated to bring things suiting their playstyles, which are interesting to watch. I give this one a
60/40 in Jytcampbell's favor, as I think EviGaro will find a harder time breaking through Jyt's build.
