The x's mean that I forgot what the particular IV was, but they are sucky anyway. The second one I didn't get to check yet, but I hope that it's good. :)

The first one could make a great Scarfer.
 
I didn't chain, I got really lucky.
I was leveling up and EV training in Iron Island.

i would like to learn how to chain. i have read the guide a few times its still a little fuzzy. and i guess what iam asking is if someone could help/tutor me and maybe we could exchange aim screen names or something because no one around me plays pokemon and I guess thats why my skills are low and what not. pm me if you wanna help or become friends.
 
So far... I've chained 2 shiny fearows and 2 shiny bronzors... the bronzor's didn't get very good natures. Of course, I've had my angry moments. I had a Dusclops chain broken at 20 something, a Floatzel chain broken at 29, and the best one ever, a Ralts chain broken at 34. Good times.

ok well whats the best pokemon for new chainers to start on?

where do you get quick balls?

around how man yrepels and pokeballs should you have?
 
I'd go to the pokemon league for any ball. They have everything.

Bring 300-900 max repels. I'd bring 50 of several types of balls. That's me though.

Choose a pokemon with a high appearance rate in a nice large grassy patch. Most people start with starly or bidoof on route 201.

Question:
I wuz chainin gastly last nite. Chain iz at 33. Got 2 tired to continue so put it in sleep mode. Will my chain die if i try to start it up again in the day time? Gastly is supposed to appear on route 209 only at night, but i read that a swarm doesn't disappear if ur chaining it, even if the day has changed, until your chain broken becomes. Just wonderin if it's the same for day/night time specific pocket monsters.
 
If your chain was still going when you put it in sleep mode it will still be going until it breaks regardless of the time of day. You can only start it whenever they're listed to be findable though.

Ps: enough with the freaking lame 'wuz' 'iz' '2' etc.
 
First off, I'm a total chaining nube.

Why do you need repels, aren't you trying to run into Pokemon, there for, not repelling them?

You want repels to avoid running into wild Pokemon, which break your chain.Everytime Pokeradar is active, their will be 4 patches that will shake/flash/whatever, if you walk into those , you will start a chain (even with repel)
 
Cool....Um...How do I use this stupid pokeradar, there is nothing on it and Serebii/this isn't helping.

EDIT: I kinda figured it out. So do I always want to go into a 4 patch or a patch with a orange dot in the middle.
 
got 5 shinies and put my game in sleep mode... at least i still remember how to do this stuff :-P

figured since i've been so busy with work and school, now that my last final exam is complete, ill get a new shiny today for everyone to look it enviously.

it shall be revealed later ;-)

Not bad at all. Flawless speed, fair defenses, and it can boost its attack with Swords Dance.

Also got these spitbacks:

Hasty - Quick Feet
29 / 29 / 31 / 12 / 30 / 5

Naughty - Pickup (Guts)
12 / 28 / 9 / 6 / 4 / 31

The Hasty one has just incredible IVs, and quick feet with a + speed nature can make for a decently fast Ursaring still. The naughty one is my best Guts variant, with flawless speed and great attack.
 
Return of the King! Nicely done KB, let's see if I can't piece together a chain of my own today. I'll probably go for Houndoom, Electrike, or Pikachu.
 
Hey Diesel,

What are the shaking patches of grass right after I fight a pokemon. From minimum personal experience, they are all bad.
 
Probably not, based on my experience with trading Rivalry pokes, lol. I would just release it if it was female, haha, jk.
