:sudowoodo: anaconja, APaidActor, Beebos (sv)

Not a big fan of a lot of Sudowoodo subs giving a Grass typing - I mean its whole gimmick is that it's not an actual plant. But at the same time, a slow pure Rock or Rock/Fighting would be pretty ass: basically a Terrakion that can't do anything. Rattled could be a good fix to this though, especially for a Rock/Fighting that resists two of the three triggering types. Some sort of combination of the three subs above would be ideal.

:froslass: Beebos (sv), |-DeepBlue-|, GhiteOff

Do I have a good explanation for making my sub the top vote? Not really, mostly I just like it the most lol. Most of the other Froslass subs don't sit with me well because they give Stealth Rock, and most sets would probably prioritize that over Spikes. DeepBlue gets second because the idea of Analytic used to punish switches sounds interesting, even if it doesn't end up actually being good.

:mesprit: G-Luke, Mossy Sandwich, Loginator

Subjectively I like the sub from Mossy Sandwich more, but I think having not all mons of one type be weak to another (psychic v dark) is important for the meta, even if it's pretty early to make this decision. 120 Attack + swords dance + good stab + priority feels like overkill, but to be fair Scizor has all that plus more attack, and isn't too dominant, so we'll have to see.
No physical Priority on my Mesprit!

Pokémon: Mesprit
Types:

Abilities: Levitate
Stats: 80 HP / 120 Atk / 105 Def / 90 SpA / 95 SpD / 90 Spe | BST: 580
Move Changes: +Swords Dance, Close Combat, Psychic Fangs, Focus Blast, Vacuum Wave
Description: This is our third Psychic type in a row, so I think it was important to make it have a positive matchup versus Dark types that will inevitably being added, and I also wanted to start adding traditional wallbreakers to the tier. So Mesprit plays like Gallade at home (or better idk), it can viably either run Choice Scarf or Swords Dance wallbreaking.

Pokemon: Froslass
Type: Ghost
Abilities: Refrigerate, Perish Body
Turns Normal-type moves to Ice-type. Ice-type moves get STAB (x1.5) if they already don't, additional x1.2 if they do.
Stats: 70/90/90/85/70/110 [BST: 515]
Move Changes: + Rapid Spin, U-Turn, Dazzling Gleam, Flash Cannon, Whirlwind, Liquidation - Ice Fang, Reflect, Light Screen
Description: Fast pivot that specializes in disruption and shutting down physical attackers, setting up Spikes when able. Refrigerate is buffed so that Froslass has a better defensive typing in pure Ghost without always losing Ice STAB, but it can also be run for an unblockable Rapid Spin. Can otherwise run Perish Body instead to have an additional tool against physical attackers.
edit 3: bunch of miscellaneous improvements: retooled stats, buffed Refrigerate for 'ice STAB', removed Signal Beam and Hyper Voice. rewritten description.
edit 4: rewrote Refrigerate for clarification
Winners! Next slate soon!

Pokémon: Beedrill
Stats: 65 / 125 / 80 / 45 / 85 / 122
Abilities: Intimidate / Poison Touch
Typing: Bug / Ground
Move Changes: +Earthquake, +Spikes
Description: This Beedrill is an offensive pivot that can revenge-kill the likes of Dragalge, Boltund, Mesprit, and Veluza while also having some neat fillers like Spikes and Pursuit. Poison Touch is also very cool since it actually can U-turn / Knock things and poison them afterward (and if they're Steel-Type just hit them with EQ). Plus, it could theoretically pair well with the top meta-offensive mons, like Mesprit or Dragalge.

Pokémon: Liepard
Stats: 78 / 106 / 90 / 106 / 90 / 135
Abilities: Limber / *Wise Eye
*Wise Eye:
This Pokémon crits against opposing Pokémon sharing a type with it
Typing: Dark / Poison
Move Changes: +Synchronoise, +Sludge Wave, +Sludge Bomb, +Gunk Shot, +Poison Jab, -Nasty Plot
Description: I made it with EeveeGirl1380 too! Anyway, this mon's a solid offensive pivot that can trap the omnipresent Psychic-Types with Pursuit while it can also hit quite hard as well since Wise Eye helps it to hit harder some of its targets like Dragalge and can even hit hard Sudowoodo with Gunk Shot or Sludge Bomb. Overall it's a cool offensive pick.

Description: Offensive pivot that's got tons of defensive applications, having utility in Stealth Rock, Intimidate and Knock Off while also having a good typing. Fireshift is basically a good pivot move that's also STAB.

Pokemon: Emboar
Stats: 110 / 123 / 85 / 60 / 85 / 65 | 528
Abilites: Blaze / Sheer Force (HA)
Typing: Fire / Fighting
Move Changes:
+ Close Combat, Drain Punch, Knock Off, Swords Dance, Slack Off, Stealth Rock
Description: My second attempt at a Sheer Force mon. Basically Darmanitan except with a better typing and surperior bulk at the cost of speed. While wall-breaking sets are obviously the main attraction, it can also run tank sets with Swords Dance, or even flat out defensive sets with moves such as Knock Off, Slack Off, Stealth Rock, and Will-O-Wisp.

Pokemon: Liepard
Stats: 69 / 98 / 65 / 98 / 65 / 116 | 515
Abilites: Technician / Unburden / Prankster (HA)
Typing: Dark / Normal
Move Changes:
+ Flare Blitz, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Flame Charge, Wild Charge, Thunder, Thunderbolt, Shock Wave, Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Swords Dance
Description: With a wide movepool and equal attacking stats, Liepard is very versatile. The main appeal is probably Technician, with moves such as Fake Out, Quick Attack, Snarl, Flame Charge, Shock Wave, and Icy Wind. Prankster is likely more niche but it's an option. However, its still extremely frail, so it has trouble setting up. But without boosts, Liepard is a bit weak, which leads to further problems.

:sv/Beedrill:
Pokemon: Beedrill
Stats: 65 / 100 / 60 / 45 / 90 / 105 | 465
Abilites: Simple / Sniper (HA)
Type: Bug / Fighting
Move Changes:
+ Close Combat, Bulk Up
Description: This is a pretty simple mon. It just goes Simple Swords Dance or Bulk Up and goes ham. With the new Bug/Fighting typing, Beedrill has much better STABS and is quite the threat combined with coverage such as Drill Run and Knock Off. However, its very reliant on boosts to be a threat, and its fraility doesn't give it too many opportunities.

Movepool Changes:

Description: Huge power shenanigans allow it to either hit HARD if invested, even more so with Band or Life Orb, but also enable it to fully invest in bulk while still getting a nice 332 attack stat. Gave it Close Combat 'cause it should've already had it before, and it also now has access to Raging Fury, giving it another alternative for a strong Fire STAB alongside the options of Flare Blitz and Heat Crash.

Emboar
Type
: Fire / Fighting
Abilities: Flame Body, Heavyweight
Moves whose base power is based on the user's weight will always hit for max power.
Stats: 110 | 110 | 93 | 80 | 85 | 50 [BST = 528]
Movepool Changes: +Slack Off, Double-Edge, Close Combat, Iron Head, Thunderbolt, Knock Off, Drain Punch, Belly Drum
- Flame Charge, Rollout, Assurance, Head Smash, Scald, Stone Edge, Wild Charge
Description: Absolute unit of a mon that can tank most hits and counter back using its raw Attack stat, which can be boosted further by Bulk Up (or Belly Drum if you're feeling silly). The custom Heavyweight ability gives it a no-strings-attached Flare Blitz through Heat Crash, and a full-power Heavy Slam to pummel Fairy-types, which combined with its neutral type matchup makes it unique among Fighting-types. Can alternatively run a more defensive set utilizing Flame Body for free burns and Slack Off for reliable recovery. Mainly held back by low speed and lack of good physical coverage.
Honestly I don't care if this wins, just that whichever sub that does is important in the meta. Emboar is so damn rad, I love this big pig
edit 3: big rework with help from anaconja - regains setup moves and now has Drain Punch

Liepard
Type:
Dark / Fairy
Abilities: Infiltrator, Unburden, Prankster
Stats: 75 | 93 | 60 | 93 | 60 | 109 [BST = 490]
Movepool Changes: + Healing Wish, Parting Shot, Swords Dance, Moonblast, Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Thunder Fang
Description: Frankly, Liepard probably doesn't need to be changed much in order to find success here, since it doesn't have much if any competition with other Prankster mons. Nevertheless, I bumped up all of its stats a bit, added a useful Fairy type, and gave it more tools. If you don't feel like using the classic Prankster set, Liepard can instead function as a Nasty Plot / Swords Dance setup sweeper.

Beedrill
Type:
Bug / Dragon
Abilities: Merciless, Technician
Stats: 65 | 115 | 70 | 50 | 77 | 93 [BST = 470]
Movepool Changes: +Sticky Web, Mortal Spin, Pounce, Force Palm, Shadow Sneak, Icicle Spear, Dragon Claw, Scale Shot
- Knock Off, Defog
Description: Wanted to go for a buff that didn't involve jacking up its stats and/or making a budget mega. Equip with Boots for a hazards set, crippling opponents with Sticky Web or Toxic Spikes and then helping pick up KOs in the endgame via Merciless, or go ham with Swords Dance + Technician. Also gets a couple multi-hit moves for potential Loaded Dice gimmick sets.
edit 3: Pretty major changes: different (hopefully better) typing, and Mortal Spin + Merciless over Twineedle + Poison Touch.

Are people aware that you are free to manipulate the BST of Beedrill.

Move Changes: +Bullet Punch, Iron Head, Stone Edge, Superpower, Stealth Rock, First Impression
-All Poison moves
Description: Solid defensive typing, with the ability to swap into mons and threaten stuff like Dragalge and Veluza. Iron Barbs makes it punish physical attacks hard.

Pokémon: Beedrill
Stats: 65 / 110 / 90 / 45 / 90 / 115 {BST: 515}
Abilities: Swarm / Mountaineer (On switch-in, this Pokemon avoids all Rock-type attacks and Stealth Rock - from CAP)
Typing: Bug / Flying
Move Changes:
+ Close Combat, Dual Wingbeat, First Impression, Spikes, Stealth Rock
* Twineedle | Flying | Physical | 45 BP | 100% Accuracy | 10 PP | Contact | Hits 2 times. Each hit has 20% chance to poison.
Description: Fast pivot / Choice attacker, Bug/Flying is actually pretty threatening STAB if you've got coverage for steels, which this has in the form of Close Combat (or you can cripple them with Knock Off), while Mountaineer allows hazards to not be an issue for this mon.

:bw/liepard:
Pokémon: Liepard
Stats: 65 / 102 / 70 / 102 / 70 / 111 {BST: 520}
Abilities: Limber / Dazzling / Prankster
Typing: Dark / Poison
Move Changes:
+ Poison Jab, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Toxic Spikes
Description: Offensive pivot, with a great typing both offensively and defensively, solid preexisting coverage to boot, so something like Gunk Shot/Sludge Bomb + Knock Off/Dark Pulse+ U-Turn + Filler should be a great set with both boots and Choice sets. Dazzling allows it to not get revenged by priority either.
