Confirming as MNOME Alpha
Reqs were super fun to get :{D
I don't think Fluffy is in the same league as Fur Coat as an ability.
Not sure what I'll be voting yet but both being unbanned would probably help with those M-Heracross Intrepid Sword duos & strong physical attackers in general.
Fluffy seems rather a bit lackluster, honestly. Same thing with Fur Coat - the main deaths are from the 8 times I get hit with Poison Gas and the half-dozen times my Dusclops rolled Self-Destruct anyways. ;-;
computerwizard8800 can confirm that the secret to getting reqs is hugging rx
Ill be voting ban
Reason:Fluffy is broken in metronome and so as Fur Coat Because Metronome has the highest chance to give a physical move
and both of them make physical moves do less damage
I'd found this to be one of the most consistent Fur Coat teams I'd tried all suspect test on my main - the defensive teams had a tendency to lose to themselves too often (even though I found that Chansey could finally take hits on both sides), so I decided to pick a mon that I'd previously found was pretty powerful but had a bit too little bulk to really stand the test of ladder time: Wishiwashi-School. Then I found from experience that Wishiwashi-School's biggest attacks it is weak to are mainly special attacks, so I made one of them Ice Scales instead. I put Choice Specs on both and made them both Quiet because close to everyone is testing Fur Coat on the ladder right now, and I'd previously found that I won more often stacking the item and nature/ability boosts than putting them on opposite sides.
...The team was still inconsistent as heck, as you can tell from my screenshot. The team at least preys on frail mons in general, but it still is prone to losing.
This is the first suspect test that I have participated in (yay!) I think that fur coat is definitely a top tier ability, allowing dragapult to easily proc its weakness policy, but I don't think its so broken that it should be banned. There are definitely things that keep it from being broken (special attacks, status effects, etc...)
Fur Coat (and fluffy) is very good for any Pokemon that can use weakness policy, and with a Glastrier, it's very bulky too.
It also is probably really good on more stally Pokemon as well, but I didn't really see many and didn't use any.
Fluffy is a definite unban, leaning towards unban for Fur Coat as well
